The second your AC died, you knew you were in trouble.

By the time the sun set, your apartment had turned into an **actual** sauna, your clothes sticking to your skin as you lay sprawled on your couch, fanning yourself uselessly. You had every window open, but it barely helped—the air was thick, suffocating, leaving you sticky and miserable.

Which is exactly how you ended up texting Jungkook.

**You:** my AC is dead. send help.

**Jungkook:** oh no. thoughts and prayers.

**You:** fuck you.

**Jungkook:** need a place to crash?

That’s how you found yourself standing at his doorstep fifteen minutes later, an overnight bag slung over your shoulder, wearing the lightest clothes you could find—tiny shorts and a tank top, which was the only thing tolerable in this ungodly weather.

When Jungkook opened the door, he leaned lazily against the frame, taking one look at you before smirking.

“Cute pajamas.”

“Shut up and let me in.”

He stepped aside, chuckling as you stormed past him. The second you entered, **blessed, cool air** washed over you, and you let out a dramatic groan, collapsing onto his couch.

“I am never leaving.”

Jungkook snorted, closing the door behind him. “You’re **so** dramatic.”

You turned your head to glare at him, but regretted it immediately.

Because of course. **Of course.**

Jungkook had answered the door **shirtless.**

He was still in his black sweatpants, but his entire upper body was on display—golden skin, toned muscles, tattoos curling down his arm. He ran a hand through his damp hair, a smug little smirk tugging at his lips when he caught you staring.

“You good?”

You quickly looked away. “I hate you.”

He laughed, strolling toward the kitchen. “I’ll grab you a drink. Try not to combust.”

You absolutely **hated** that staying at Jungkook’s place wasn’t a new thing. You’d been best friends for years, and he’d always been the **flirty, annoying, stupidly attractive** menace he was now.

But this?

This felt **different**.

It was **too** hot outside, **too** easy to feel your skin against his when you passed by, **too** easy to imagine—

Nope. Not going there.

You **refused** to be the idiot who developed a thing for their best friend.

Jungkook returned with two cold beers, tossing you one as he plopped onto the couch beside you.

“Thanks for saving me,” you mumbled, cracking yours open.

“Anytime,” he said easily, throwing an arm over the back of the couch.

The two of you sat in comfortable silence, the cold drinks helping to cool you down. You tried to focus on the TV, but it was impossible to ignore the heat radiating from Jungkook beside you, the way his thigh was barely an inch from yours.

And then—because **of course**—the universe decided to be cruel.

The power cut out.

Everything went **dark**.

“…Shit,” Jungkook muttered.

You groaned. “You’ve got to be **kidding** me.”

Jungkook sighed, setting down his drink. “Guess the storm knocked it out. Should be back soon.”

But the AC was **off**, which meant the temperature was already starting to rise again.

Five minutes later, you were **suffering.**

Ten minutes later, you were **dying.**

And that’s how you ended up sitting in Jungkook’s dimly lit living room, skin **glistening** from the heat, sweat dripping down your neck, while your **shirtless** best friend sat across from you, looking **too good for his own damn good**.

“Jesus,” you muttered, shifting on the couch. “I feel disgusting.”

Jungkook’s gaze flickered to you, something unreadable in his eyes.

“You look fine,” he said casually.

“Liar.”

He grinned. “Okay, you look—” He tilted his head, scanning you **way** too slowly. “A little too good, actually.”

Your stomach flipped.

“Shut up.”

Jungkook hummed, taking a slow sip of his beer. “You sure you’re comfortable?”

You huffed. “No. I’m sticky, I’m dying, and I—”

You **stopped** when Jungkook suddenly leaned forward, reaching out—

His fingers brushed against your throat.

You **froze**.

A single drop of sweat had trailed down your neck, and Jungkook—**absolute menace that he was**—had **wiped it away with his thumb.**

His touch lingered for **just** a second too long.

Then, he leaned in.

“Tell me to stop,” he murmured.

You **should**.

You absolutely **should**.

But you didn’t.

Instead, you **grabbed him by the jaw** and kissed him first.

Jungkook made a **deep, satisfied** noise in his throat before kissing you back, hard and **hungry**, his hands sliding down your waist, fingers teasing at the hem of your shorts.

It was **hot**. **Sticky**. **Messy**.

And you didn’t care.

Because this was **Jungkook**.

And **god**, you had **always** wanted him.

His hands slid beneath your tank top, fingers **tracing, teasing, exploring** as his lips moved to your jaw, your neck, sucking **just hard enough** to make your breath hitch.

Then, in one swift move, he had you **pinned** beneath him, dark eyes locked onto yours.

“You have **no** idea how long I’ve wanted this,” he murmured, voice **low, rough, dangerous**.

Your pulse **thundered**.

“Then stop wasting time,” you whispered.

Jungkook smirked—then **ruined you**.

**The next morning,** when the power (and AC) finally came back, you woke up **naked** in Jungkook’s bed, sore in **all the best ways**, with **absolutely zero regrets.**

“So…” He smirked. “How long until your AC gets fixed?”

You groaned, burying your face in the pillow. “I hate you.”

You finally gathered the courage within you to end your relationship with Sasuke. This wasn’t an easy decision. In fact it was tearing you apart. You still loved him. But the differences between your priorities and his were far too different to the point where they were conflicting with each other.

You might as well have been talking to a wall that day with how blank his expression was after you just announced how you were breaking up with him. The loud silence was killing you inside, does he not care at all?

-You wanting to break up with him was like a jab at his ego. The Sasuke Uchiha. The last prodigy of his clan and you wanted to leave him? Though this enraged him, he refused to let you know it. He couldn’t let you have the satisfaction of knowing that this actually affected him.

-After you left the apartment he started to completely trash the place. Everything in it was obliterated into nothingness. But as soon as he went out in public he acted completely fine as if nothing happened.

None of them even compared to your beauty. Even the thought of another person lying on the bed you two once shared disgusted him.

-After weeks of this even Sasuke couldn’t believe his own facade. He craved you. He craved your smile, your laughter, Your touch. And is willing to do whatever it takes to remind you that you belong with him.

-He sucked up his pride and begged Naruto to send you two on missions together. So you’d be basically forced to talk to each other . (Naruto uses this against him every now and then)

-During one of the missions, one of your comrades decide to get a little touchy with you. You pay this no mind since you have no interest in the guy, but Sasuke definitely notices it. What’s a worthless ninja doing talking to what’s his?

-A couple of days after that mission, the scenario of another man getting that close to you haunted Sasuke day and night. There’s no way in hell you’d ever willingly decide to be with any other man but him. Right? He needed the reassurance and he needed it now.

-It was 4 am when you opened the door to your apartment after you were awoken by loud desperate banging on the door just to be faced with your ex. He invited himself in, closing the door behind him as he slowly crept towards you.

“Sasuke?”

-He reached for your hand and held it in his, as he focused on you as if there was nothing else in this world. You could tell he developed dark circles since the last time you saw him.

“The day we got together was the day I chose you to be the one I repopulate my clan with. The only one worthy of the surname Uchiha. You’re mine and I’m yours.”

-He noticed how you were at a loss of words so he took this moment to do what he’s been yearning to. He grabbed the back of your head pulling you into a kiss. The kiss was messy and desperate. He kissed you as if you were the oxygen he needed to breathe. And to him, you were.

-Needless to say you were vulnerable to his request and took him back. How could you not?

The nights like usual were peaceful and pleasant, faint lights peered through the curtain of the bedroom, but it wasn't enough to stir you, or the man you were slumbering next to.

Harumasa Asaba of Section 6, his face slightly squished against his pillow as his brows furrowed in his sleep. Clearly, for him, the night wasn't quite as peaceful as it usually was.

His heart beat against its cage as if it were seeking an escape from the hellscape in his head. You only woke up because he stole most of the blanket when he rolled over, and you had gotten cold.

You opened your eyes, in your half asleep state you tried to snuggle closer to him but he subconsciously pushed you away. You sat up and scowled before seeing his expression, pain and desperation painted all over his face.

"Haru-" you whispered hurriedly, patting his chest and moving the blanket off of him in case he started running a fever. You looked at the medicine on his nightstand and sighed before returning your focus to him.

He flinched at the slightest touch, but suddenly his eyes shot open and he gasped, his golden eyes stared at the ceiling for a moment before they flickered to you. The was silence between you two before he sat up and pulled you into a sudden, but very secure and tight hug.

Your eyes widened before you pulled him close and buried your face in the crook of his neck. "Nightmares..?" you inquired, frowning when he nodded and sniffled. "I-it was..so vivid-- i thought.." he murmured and squeezed you tighter.

"I thought i had..hurt you- killed you, even.." he let out a shaky sigh before leaning back and holding your face. "All the color in your face was gone.." seeing Harumasa so distraught had become a thing as of late. His nightmares had become more frequent ever since the two of you moved in together.

He pestered you until you gave in, he was always anxious about a hollow popping up out of nowhere where you lived and him not being able to do anything about it. It was reasonable, so you gave in, but now his nightmares only seemed to get worse for no reason.

You held his hands against your face and smiled at him, "Haru, i'm safe and sound," you began and kissed his palms "I'm in your arms, your bed, your house. And you, i know you wouldn't do anything to hurt me, ever.."

His brows knit and he shook his head, his hands reaching to cover the puncture scars on his neck. "But it wasn't me..i was- a monster.." at the mention of becoming a monster, his panic only seemed to worsen terribly.

You wrapped your arms around him again and squeezed to help bring him back down to earth, he was doing all he could not to cry. "How about this.." you leaned back and buttoned up his shirt a little before pecking the corners of his eyes.

"Let's take a quick visit to the kitchen, i'll make you some tea, and we can watch TV on the couch until we fall asleep?" you offered and kissed his cheeks. His golden eyes softened before he sighed and nodded, "Don't put so much sugar in it this time.." he chuckled softly and poked your cheek.

You rolled your eyes and stuck your tongue out at him before getting up and pulling him out of bed. He groaned dramatically and slumped forward onto you, laughing as you grumbled and tried your best not to shove him off and back onto bed.

"Carry me..~" He mused as a joke, chuckling as you rolled your eyes and he stepped back. "You have two feet and a heartbeat, get to walking." he laughed and scratched the back of his head as he walked passed you.

You smiled to yourself and followed him, eventually slipping your hand into his and pulling it up to kiss his knuckles. Despite his line of work, his hands and fingers were smooth and soft, if not for his archer's gloves, he'd likely have a few more callouses.

When you both reached the kitchen, you let go of his hand and walked over to the tea kettle and prepared to brew him something that would help him fall asleep again. He didn't linger far from you though, he leaned against the counter and crossed his arms as he watched your fill it with tea leaves and water.

He didn't have his iconic yellow headband on, and his hair was a mess, it was oddly endearing and attractive to see him in a sleepy, casual state. Oh, how many people would kill to be in your position right now.

He was busy undoing the buttons that you did up minutes prior, looking over to you while you turned the stove on. He smirked and slipped behind you, his arms making their way around your waist as he pulled you away from the counterside.

"Haru, what are you up to now?" You asked before suddenly he turned you around and leaned forward to rest his forehead on your shoulder, his arms tightening around your waist. "Just stay right here.." he hummed softly, making you chuckle "yes sir.."

He smiled, beginning to slowly sway with you in the kitchen. It was quiet, there was no music, yet he didn't seem bothered and continued to sway with you. "Thank you.." he whispered just under his breath. You didn't receive sincere thank you's from him often, so hearing it made you smile, "I'm happy to help.."

You wrapped your arms around him and rubbed his back, his white button up shirt was all wrinkled from how he was tossing and turning thanks to his nightmares. "You should go round up all the pillows and blankets in the living room and make a nice little spot for us to cuddle." you hummed and kissed the side of his head.

"Heh, yes ma'am." he chuckled and leaned back to give you a brief kiss before he turned away completely. You watched him go for a moment, covering your mouth and giggling. He was immature and childish at times, but your found his dorkus behavior endearing at the right moments.

You focused on getting mugs out for the tea, and other various things to put in your tea. "Tea is almost done Haru." you called, looking over and seeing him holding all the blankets he could find in one big ball. He smiled at you and nodded before tossing the blankets on the couch, making a cozy nest out of them, and jogging over to you.

"You didn't put a bunch of sugar in it to mess with me again, right?" he inquired and looked at the kettle with a wary look before he kissed the side of your head and turned away to pour the tea. "Nope, the goal is to get you back to sleep, not having you bouncing off the wall." you crossed your arms.

He chuckled and set the kettle back on the stove, fixing your tea just how you liked it, apparently from memory it seems before he handed it off to you. "C'mon, we got movies to watch~" he cooed, as if he wasn't going to doze off in the first ten minutes.

You rolled your eyes and grabbed his hand, the two of you making your way to the couch, getting snuggled up and comfortable. The TV was already playing something quietly, so you two just got to relax and drink your tea.

Asaba rarely was so relaxed, something was always occupying his mind, even when he was supposed to be relaxing at home on his 'sick' leave. Typically it was his illness that kept his mind busy, even in his sleep.

Even now, he was likely think about that nightmare considering he was holding you about as tight as he holds his bow in the middle of a fight. "Asaba." you began, he looked over and tilted his head, "My first name? Must be serious~" he grinned and waited for you to continue.

You sighed and leaned close to peck his lips to shut him up for a minute, "If you had turned into an ethereal, i would kill you." you stated and his eyes widened. "I wouldn't let you die knowing you had been the death of me, literally." you chuckled and kissed his lips again.

"..How do you manage to read my thought all the time?" he whined and lowered his head, "Thank you..i'd much prefer i die over you." he hummed and squished your cheeks, his somber attitude shifting. "Now~ keep your pretty mouth closed, and lets watch the movie." he grinned.

You giggled and nodded, "Yes sir." you stuck your tongue out at him and he let go of your face and leaned back and sipped his tea.

Silence filled the space, and eventually you finished your tea and he finished his, the two of you now content and sleepy all over again. The movie became white noise, helping the two of stay asleep.

boyfriend!remus who doesn't really celebrate birthdays but let you throw a party in the gryffindor common room with all of your friends and his. the marauders were thrilled and went overboard on the decorations.

you came home after a rough day of work so matt cuddles with you to cheer you up

no warnings! pure fluff :)

you unlocked the door to your house and instantly took of your shoes . you then set down your bag and keys onto the kitchen counter. you ran your fingers through your hair and relaxed to the final calmness of your house.

“matt baby, im home.” you called out. sitting yourself down onto a nearby seat and sighing. matts footsteps quickly grew louder until you were met with his gentle touch from behind.

he wrapped his arms around your neck gently and softly planted kisses along your neck. “hi m’love, how was work?” his soothing voice brushed against your ear making your smile grow by the second, looking over at him with a shrug.

“it wasn’t the best but, here i am.” you mumble.

matt cooed softly against your ear, capturing your fingers in his. he used his thumb to rub gentle circles along your hand to relax you some more. making you feel safe with his touch.

“mm, why don’t i run you a bath and we can relax in our room?” matt said, planting a soft kiss on your cheek. you fluttered your eyes closed while leaning into his soft touch. giving him a simple nod and a soft ‘yes’.

after finishing about half an hour later you changed yourself into one of matts hoodies and a pair of pajama shorts. walking into his room with a messy bun and a smile plastered on your face.

the lights were dimmed low, the lamp was turned on next to the bed, and matt had his back against the headboard. he removed his arms from the back of his head and signaled you to come over.

“you look adorable. come sit baby.”

as soon as you layed on top of matt, you felt the relaxation rush through your body. the warmness of matts chest against yours soothing your nerves. he ran one of his hands along your arm and the other through your hair.

“this feels nice.” you whisper. running circles along his collarbone with a sigh. matt pulled the covers to cover the both of your lowerhalfs. the warmth of his chest and the blanket making you sleepy.

“yeah?”

you felt your eyes close, not even realizing that matt had been asking all about your day. the coziness of the bedsheets causing you to drift off a bit. “you awake baby?” matt questioned. realizing that you hadn’t answered any if his questions.

no response.

matt leaned over a bit to look over at your face and realized you had drifted off to sleep. the way your face was now relaxed and the sounds of your soft breathing was heartwarming. he continued to gently run his fingers through your hair as you kept on sleeping. letting out a deep sigh of his own before carefully turning off the lamp next to him. trying his best not to wake you up.

“goodnight m’love.”
