Hi guys!! It's been a hot minute since i've posted anything on this blog (that's personal), I am happy to say we SEEM to be on schedule, the zine is coming along and I'm very excited to introduce all our creators (Sorry I should have done this AGES ago but hhhh I work lol) soon too!!

All the things I've seen on the discord are looking AMAZING and I am so excited to see it all, @deuterium51614 has been starting to put it all together and @soullessserenity has been prepping our Ao3 collection!

5. ⚠️Which wip your most likely to finish or update next?

The next thing getting updated is naturally "The Meaning of It All" because I'm doing that on a twice-weekly schedule (tune in tomorrow to see Aziraphale make a very unusual house call). The next thing to be finished is probably going to be the second piece I'm doing for the auction, for the simple reason that someone paid money to have it. The next thing to be done is likely to be my piece for the Boueibu zine since that is on a time limit. After that I'll either finish that big Tiger & Bunny piece I've been working on, or one of the random little Good Omens fics I've been playing with, with an outside chance on "The Wandering Priest" because I really do want that one done.

Everyone was surprised when Kyotaro abruptly sat up and opened his eyes.

"He lives!" Taiju joked.

Ryouma looked at him with concern. "What happened? Did you have a nightmare?"

"No," said Kyotaro, blinking sleepily. "I just had a feeling something was about to happen, and I didn't want to miss it."

"What could happen?" Ichiro asked. "We aren't going to get invaded by monsters again, are we?" It was hard to tell from his tone whether he was excited or worried by the prospect.

Kyotaro rubbed the back of his head. "Darned if I know. I just have this funny feeling that something is coming."

Everyone waited patiently for a moment to see if anything was coming.

Gora poked his head around the door.

"Hey, guys, we're closing in a few," he said. "Time for you to wrap it up."

Holo!! Sorry for the huge delay in stuff, I actually just started Cosmetology School and have been having to balance work with it 😅 it's been on my mind though!! I'll try to get something out next week (like an overall theme/dates/info) I've been still trying to think on what to give artists/creators since this will be a free Zine.

It's still open, I've been trying to decide on what my lovely creators will get since this is a free Zine. I work+go to school and have one day off a week 😂

Things are still being decided. Originally I wanted it done this year but I'm maybe hoping winter 2022 or early 2023. My overall theme was mostly leaning towards Love(friendship/lovers love).

IoRyuu Fanbook/Fanzine Guidelines

Introduction

 ●     Ioryuu Fanbook/Fanzine is a project to create something together with both the Western fans and the Japanese fandom for the love of Ioryuu. This zine has no theme because we want everyone to have creative freedom, but if you need some ideas about what to draw, there are some suggested themes/prompts later on in this document.

 ●     We will have Artworks and Writing in this Fanzine/Fanbook. If anyone wants to make a comic for this project, that’s allowed too!

 ●     We plan to have afterword in the last pages, so you can write what you like about Ioryuu and what it means for you, or you can skip this step if you want.

 ●     Everyone will be credited by the name AND social media of their choice. You can decide not to include your social media and name, but we highly recommend it.

 ●     The fanzine/fanbook will be available ONLY in digital form. Preorders can be placed starting in July.

○     Preorders will be placed through bigcartel. Please follow our social media accounts for the announcement of the zine’s  bigcartel page opening~!

○     This zine is FREE and NOT FOR PROFIT.

 ●     We are looking for a translator! If you feel comfortable translating English to Japanese and/or Japanese to English, please let us know!! We’re hoping to have someone help others translate their writing into English/Japanese so that both the Japanese-speaking and English-speaking fans can understand and enjoy every written work submitted.

 We’d also appreciate it if this translator could help us translate the guidelines into Japanese. Our project leaders cannot speak Japanese, so we are trying to use simple English because we do want everyone who is interested to have the chance to join even if their English isn’t the best.

 ●     If there is something you don’t understand please tell us, and we will try our best to explain it.

 ●     Everyone participating will get a digital copy of the fanbook/fanzine

Rules

You can draw other Boueibu characters in your work, but please keep it IoRyuu centric.

No explicit work allowed. This includes R18 & Gore artwork/writing. Subtle hints are allowed if it’s minor, but we want this to be suitable for all ages.

The artwork/writing you submit must be new, made for the zine/fanbook. If you have artwork/writing that has never been posted online or sold, that’s fine to  submit.

No stealing other artwork/writing. If we find out that you have been stealing, we will have to remove you from the project

Please keep it to male Io and male Ryuu, but you’re allowed to draw any theme. For example, if you want     a fantasy theme or cat theme, go ahead! We love having you explore and put     unique your ideas into the art/writing

 Main Artwork

●     Canvas Size

○     2122 x 2976 pixels measurements

○     Allow at least 42 pixels for bleed room.

●     Full color illustrations are required.

●     Background must have something it can be simple shapes or a complicated background, please don’t leave it blank.

●     All files must be submitted in .psd and .png

●     Traditional art is allowed provided it is cropped and scanned.

●     The art must be new. No past art may be used.

 Writing

●     2500 word minimum in english. Maximum of 8000 words.

●     Fully proofread with little to no grammar or spelling errors.

●     Written in English so everyone can read them. If you want to write it in your mother language first, that’s fine so long it get translated to English before submission.

●     The writing must be new. No past writings may be used.

Boueibu Zine interest check

Hello, peeps!  ❤ As most of you already know, I was thinking about making our own Boueibu fanzine. It turned out that I decided: it’ll happen! But for that, I’m gonna need some people to help out. I already have someone willing to do it with me but the more the better, right? Especially considering that I don’t have a computer and can only work on mobile, which brings me some limitations. So please, if you wanna be a part of organization team, let me know! You can message me here or on twitter (@wildelectrictab)

For now, the zine would be digital version only, because I can’t print or ship it oversears from my country. Is that ok with you? Or maybe someome from you all could print it for us  👀 that’d be great too lmao, so if you’re reading this and think you can do it, hit me up.

Another thing is we’re thinking about sending a copy (even if digital only) to the boueibu creators, as a fandom thank you gift. What do you think about it?

Right now, I need to know if you’d be interest in buying it (cause I know about all the amazing artists that would wanna join and I have some others in mind that I’d love to invite). Please spread this so we can start working on it soon.
