For anyone not in the Boueibu Discord server, I'd like to share something we found out today, and that is there exists ANOTHER Umatani project, credited to Umatani Ichigo (same as Gekkan Mousou) called "Remote☆Host" that started back in 2021 and is ongoing.

(I actually heard some of the songs before when I played Boueibu and Fairy Ranmaru music at work, too, they slipped into the mix and I was just like "these are bops!" and didn't look into it...)

Anyway, off the top of my head there are characters with Ranmaru and Nanao/Taro's seiyuu, not sure of any others.

It's about "rival host clubs that broadcast remotely?"

The character designs are cool, too.

Very difficult to find anything on it, because "remote host" is a tech term. I'll reblog with the website so this post isn't lost in the tags.

Also, I believe all the albums (except maybe two drama CDs) are on iTunes, and many are still available first hand on Canime! The tracks are also on YouTube!

-all boys cast. if there's a girl she's the only one and also pink, in typical boy's show fashion. -guys transform into a thing -x of the week paired with some kind of batshit plot that gets revealed later on -catchphrases that are repeated. often. -colourful character designs that are bordering on tacky- oh who i am i kidding. they are tacky. tacky as hell. -MASCOT CHARACTERS. always some kind of animal. -antagonist who is homosexually obsessed with one of the main characters. usually has 2 goons. -lots of gay shit (yes. besides the antagonist) -despite the gay shit there's always one guy who's obsessed with women. usually gets no bitches though. -giant age gaps. for some reason..? -Sugita Tomokazu and Yamamoto Kazutomi are there. most of the time.
