I do really love Brennan's rule of honoring nat 20s. It can be interesting when you get a nat 20 and the gm goes "ok but what's your total?" Y'know cuz it's like "wow this thing was so powerful that a nat 20 wasn't enough"

But also it's really fun to just reward the 20. Even when it fucks with the very minimal amount of setup you prepared. I just can't help but applaud Brennan every time he has to reconcile with a surprise Beardsley nat 20 and fuckin nails it

Okay so I was planning on writing a Zoro Demon AU in which Luffy dies and drops in hell. Zoro's mostly chill and goes: huh, first time I've seen someone actually drop into hell lmao, must be a new thing. Then Luffy proceeds to climb the fuck out like that's a thing that can be done and the walls that make hell aren't purely a metaphorical description of the soul's encasing, apparently.

random ass thought but i don't like a lot of the fanservice in the bg3 epilogue and I especially have an issue with Karlach seemingly finding a solution to her engine in Avernus. her whole story is about terminal illness and her potential death at the pier is very very sad and emotional but it is a valid choice as it honors her wish to go out on her own terms. The epilogue makes it so that forcing her to go to Avernus becomes the correct choice idk theres just smth about it

Getting REAL sick and tired of how omori TikTok views sunny.

Like, they view any scene of him being emotionally vulnerable, affectionate, or even just making an expression outside of just being completely neutral as “mischaracterised”. He’s not some cool, stoic, unwavering badass, he is a traumatised teenager. Don’t cry whenever he dares to give his friend a hug or (god forbid) be SAD about something??? Isn’t like. Part of the point of his development about him allowing himself to break down the repressive walls he built when he shut himself in? And being able to rely on his real friends instead of imaginary versions? And isn’t the game like. Meant to SHOW that he still cares about them despite isolating himself?

It’s really stupid to get mad at a character like that showing emotion or affection personally, especially since he’s not used to expressing it properly after so long. But that’s just me
