   I touched on this briefly with my other headcanon and canon mentions it. But Kazutora’s brain is hardwired to the you can only chose one side mentality because that was the environment he was brought up in and forced into. His mother or his father. Himself or others.  One or the other. Never both. Never, ever both.

   He had to ‘sacrifice’ Mikey in his head to be able to save himself from the guilt. He never would intentionally do that when he really did only mean well. He wanted to make Mikey happy. But the crime was done and there was nothing he could do about it. So he projected everything onto Mikey to save himself. Mikey himself said all of Kazutora’s pain and suffering was his. Kazutora took that rather LITERALLY. He pushed it all onto Mikey, and then needed to ‘destroy’ it in some way. He needed it gone because otherwise it would always be a threat to him and his survival. If you are my pain, then if I destroy you, then I’ll destroy my pain, ergo I’ll survive and be okay. 

   Mikey’s  “  Am I your enemy?  “  question causes another snap in Kazutora as we see. Kazutora had already projected this idea of pain onto Mikey, but that question puts him in the same spot as are you on your father’s side, or my side? His eyes waver for a second because it hits something deep.  Now he’s ACTIVELY forced into a choice rather than just projecting or deciding it in his brain. Now he HAS to say it and act on it even further than he has at that point. He HAS to in his own head. 

   And Baji....Baji absolutely breaks my heart. Because we know, Kazutora says it himself, that Baji is the most precious thing to him. But when he’s told that Baji is a traitor after all? He can’t handle it. It’s a threat so much worse than anything else that he has to go to more extreme efforts. One side or another. Toman or him. Not even Valhalla, but him. Like I said, you can only choose one side in Kazutora’s head. You can’t have both. He takes it not as Baji betraying Valhalla, but as Baji betraying HIM, abandoning him, for something else. Everyone else in his life already had. His parents, his fake friends, Toman, Baji was the only one who hadn’t abandoned him, and he was always deeply terrified that one day Baji would. Baji was the sole exception to Kazutora’s thoughts that people betray you. He was there. he was his saving light. He was the one good thing Kazutora ever really had. Not to mention that in this Valhalla & Toman showdown, Kazutora is already in a very unstable state because he was fighting with Mikey, his other walking source of pain. AND he’s full of adrenaline which makes even stable people not think things through. It’s too much.

   Kazutora can’t, he can’t handle something so threatening it would destroy him. When it’s whispered in his ear that he’s being betrayed, he has to chose himself. Suddenly Baji’s become another threat in that frenzied moment. Kazutora can’t think, he can only act when under an active threat. He acted, because as I’ve said, in moments of high emotion and threat, Kazutora acts on instinct. He ‘fights’ to survive against whatever the perceived threat it, be it literal like Shin or soul-crushing betrayal like he was told Baji was doing. He doesn’t think, he just does. He attempts to put the pain to Mikey, but then he finally acknowledges he did it. He’s his own biggest threat, he’s destroyed the only thing that truly matters to him.

   And then Baji gets up, and Kazutora’s so full of hope for a moment. That maybe he is okay. But he isn’t. And Baji........Baji is the only person who understands Kazutora. His mindset. One or the other. He takes that burden from Kazutora by doing the worst damage himself. One or the other? Then Baji will make sure Kazutora doesn’t have to choose this time. And it’s so, so devastating to Kazutora. He can’t undo anything, he can’t change it. He can finally see it from another angle when its the choice is not in his hands but its too late.

anyways. i think cassie needs to text tim having a minor meltdown in an ikea restroom because cissie asked her to come shopping for her new apartment with her and then looked at a bed and fluttered her eyelashes and asked if cassie would be down to come over and help her assemble furniture later. and cassie had a moment of butch euphoria so hard she panicked and ran to the restroom instead of actually answering.

EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK, EVIL MARK!!! I want to be coherent about this season but please picture me foaming at the mouth and running on the walls. S2 being what if Mark's just like his Dad? Insanity. I love this show. Anyways, AU where an Evil!Mark tries to make Our!Mark worse, and Our!Mark tries to make the other better. Something something confronting your idea of the worst version of oneself. Plus, tweaked black and yellow costume because I saw it and immediately went murder hornet lookin' ass and knew I had to draw it. Evil ass Mark. Horrible. I think he should be dragged kicking and screaming into redemption.

Anyone who claims that the secret ending in Veilguard is disrespectful or nullifies agency in the previous three games is either unable to traverse layered storytelling or is being ignorant on purpose.

I am not sure how someone assumes that it was about mind control or magic when games upon games the fantasy setting in Dragon Age has been a medium for telling stories about the nature of people, about different perspectives, about the dangers of applying singular ideals to a complex existence, about how people and the ways in which they interact shape destinies.

How can you not be excited to learn that there’s a world outside Thedas, that the web is more complicated and that when one wrestles to break the threads it vibrates all the way to the spider letting it know it’s dinner time?

I see a lot of people upset about William Kaplan being dead and no one mourning him cus Billy stole his body and I just don't see it that way. The kid in Wanda Vision is Billy Maximoff, The teenager at the Bar Mitzvah is William Kaplan, the Teen that got taken to the hospital after the wreck is neither and both Billy Maximoff and William Kaplan. That Teen went home with the abilities of Billy Maximoff, to the home of William Kaplan, with memories of neither and lived there for three years. He cares about Rebecca and Jeff, he lied to the to protect them from pain, they are his parents. He wants to find Tommy, he has magical powers, he wants to know who he is. All of these things are true. I wouldn't say William Kaplan is dead he just doesn't remember, like Agatha wasn't dead when he was Agnes, she just didn't remember.

I’m not done talking about Raph and Leo yet because you know what kills me? How the beginning of the movie with Raph very angry at Leo to the point of lashing out at him is paralleled with how the end of the movie has the Krang very, very angry at Leo and beating him horrifically.

Both Raph and the Krang are so much bigger than Leo, both have been very angry with him, and both deem him responsible for ruining their respective missions.

To make matters worse, Raph’s body was used to hurt Leo. So it’d make sense for Leo to just…flinch, sometimes. To have his body reflectively brace for a blow that will not come because Raph would see this and just be horrified. Their fights, their roughhousing, their existing together all have a newfound and unwanted extra layer to them.

And Raph? Raph is traumatized enough having been brainwashed the way he was, turned into a monster in a way he always dreads in general. To be made into the antithesis of a hero and instead be a villain’s pawn, made to hurt his own family…poor kid, to say the least.

Can’t imagine what it must feel like, the first time post invasion that Raph gets mad at Leo and they fall into their old dynamic only for Leo to see the Krang and for Raph to feel like he is the Krang.

I’m excited for the chapter when we see how Gotham views Peter + Spider-man. Cause they must have obviously noticed a new kid hanging around the Wayne’s and at first they’re like “Bruce did it again” but they look closer and they’re like “wait that kid looks like dick?? Why is dick being fatherly with this random???? Is dick someone’s baby daddy????”.

They’ll try to do the math: “this kid looks to be 12 and dick is 29 so HE WAS 17 WHEN HE HAD HIM?????!??!”

well the waynes are publicly involved with gotham programs and all that, so it's not too out of the way to see a couple waynes around gotham shopping with a kid or helping out, etc. and then while at the manor, peter hasn't left other than to hang out with dick, adn they've been pretty incognito for the most part. the only people that know where peter went are the kids that Maps hangs out with, Benny, and those people from the diner. all of which didn't take pictures

what i'm saying is is that at some point we're definitely gonna have a plotline where Vicki Vale tries to have everyone believe that Dick is Peter's dad and every single one of our beloved characters gaslight the fuck out of her, as per usual. to the point that they probably create fake photos to make it look like peter is a cousin or something, and their shared relatives just have very strong genes on that side of the family. cause they love to lie

though sometimes i do think dick would claim that peter is his son, regardless of the rumors that come out of it
