Milanese architect and urban planner Stefano Boeri is the father of the concept of Vertical Forests, or high-rises covered with the leaves of thousands of plants and trees of different species, the first of which saw the light of day a decade ago. The Bosco Verticale (Vertical Forest) in Milan, comprising two plant-clad residential towers, formed the equivalent of three hectares of woodland and undergrowth concentrated in just 3,000 sqm of space, and came to symbolize urban reforestation championing the close coexistence of architecture and nature.
Boeri reminisces about his mother Cini Boeri, an important figure in Italian design and architecture, and his award-winning Vertical Forests.

There are very few games I can play when my head is being rough but... Deep Rock Galatic has the holy trinity of intrests for me and it is a nice break from everything. It has Dwarves who you can customize and try out each class (Driller is my favorite but that's cause short cuts are the best) It has Bugs~ well Glyphids but they are adorable and terrifying bugs that will eat you (plus if you have Glyphid taming, you can have Steeve to help you out~ he loves pets) and you have Bolts! Molly, Bosco and Dorretta to keep you company along your mission (Bosco is a real champion on those stupid aquarq missions)
Idk it's just nice to have a comfort game where you can log in and do missions without worries, plus the variety makes it so much better. Every encounter I've had in it has been incredible and I'm really grateful for the community~
Rock and Stone forever

Asphodel | ch 28
[Excerpt:]
“Do you feel the slightest bit better, Master Kenobi?” she asked quietly as she leaned down and placed a soft kiss upon his trapezius where she had bitten him so fiercely a few nights earlier.
“How could I not? You are a champion for the weak and weary,” he replied as he stood up straight and turned to face her.
Satine’s eyebrow raised as she turned to face the mirror and began to run her fingers through her hair, trying to tame it, and she replied in a presumptuous way as she said, “You certainly came to me weak and weary. I could not let you return to Coruscant under such conditions. Your precious Jedi Council might believe I have mistreated you.”
Obi-Wan grinned and leaned forward towards the mirror, getting a good look at a light bruise she left on his shoulder from a passionate bite, and he responded, “If I were an honest man and I disclosed all of our stimulating activities within my final report, they would know that you had."
She glanced over and remarked indifferently, “And you loved every moment of it, didn’t you?”
Naked after pulling the towel from his waist and disposing it in a hamper, the Jedi made his way out of the fresher to where a change of clothes awaited him in her closet, and he called out behind himself, “I’m not a barbarian, but I quite enjoy the side of you that longs to eat me alive.”
“As if you didn’t beg for it,” Satine responded as she followed behind him.
Inside her spacious walk-in closet, Obi-Wan was pulling on microgarments and he raised an eyebrow and teased, “I recall some begging last night, Duchess. Neither of us is above enjoying a state of depravity, it appears.” As he pulled on a pair of trousers, he glanced up at her and caught her dropping the plush bathrobe from her body, and his eyes darkened as he took in the sight of her and added, “Particularly when you are bound.”
Satine retrieved garments from her lingerie cabinet and unintentionally gave him a show as she slinked her lithe form into them and muttered, “Your definition of the word ‘edging’ would have resulted in you learning about the Mandalorian definition at the blade of a beskad, I’ll have you know.” Her eyes darted up to meet his, and she could see the way he was watching her, capturing as many last looks as he could for what they believed to be their final goodbye. “You’re lucky I was restrained,” she purred as she let her index finger trace a line from his navel to his chest, traveling through the small bit of auburn hair that was regrowing upon his body.
Obi-Wan smirked, “Don’t threaten me with a time like that, Duchess. I’ve become a bit of a sadomasochist these days, and I just might like it.”

Chapter 28 is up.
(Don't get it twisted, though. We're back into Angstville and headed for a long drive through Sadtown and Pain Valley. Just luring you in with the sexy banter.)
Visual inspiration for the Walk of Mourning in the Sundari royal palace is here, in the real life Dom Bosco Sanctuary of Brazil:

The Evolution of Babul Supriyo: From Music to Public Service
Babul Supriyo is a name synonymous with versatility and dedication. From enchanting millions with his soulful voice to taking on significant roles in Indian politics, his journey is nothing short of inspiring. Born in Uttarpara, West Bengal, Supriyo’s life story is a fascinating tale of passion, perseverance, and transformation. This article delves into his transition from a celebrated playback singer to a political leader, highlighting the milestones of his incredible career.
Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Born on December 15, 1970, in a musically rich family, Supriyo was destined to make waves in the music industry. His grandfather, N.C. Baral, was a renowned vocalist and composer in Bengal, and it was under his guidance that Supriyo’s love for music flourished. Growing up, he showcased his talent in school competitions and earned several accolades, including the All India Don Bosco Music Champion in 1983.
After completing his education in commerce from Serampore College, Supriyo initially worked at Standard Chartered Bank in Kolkata. However, his passion for music was unwavering, prompting him to resign and move to Mumbai in 1992. This decision marked the beginning of his illustrious career in playback singing.
Bollywood Success: A Voice for the Ages
In Mumbai, Supriyo adopted the stage name “Babul Supriyo” and quickly became a recognizable voice in the Bollywood music industry. His breakthrough came with the song “Dil Ne Dil Ko Pukara” from the blockbuster movie Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai (2000). This song not only earned him widespread acclaim but also established him as a leading playback singer.
Over the years, Supriyo delivered several hits, collaborating with prominent music directors like Jatin-Lalit, Anu Malik, and A.R. Rahman. Some of his memorable songs include:
“Chanda Chamke” from Fanaa (2006)
“Hum Tum” from Hum Tum (2004)
“Pari Pari Hai Ek Pari” from Hungama (2003)
His ability to adapt to different musical styles and his impeccable vocal range made him a favorite among audiences. Supriyo’s songs, marked by their emotional depth and melodic quality, have left an indelible mark on Bollywood’s music landscape.
Venturing into Politics
Despite his thriving music career, Supriyo’s ambitions extended beyond the recording studio. In 2014, he entered the political arena by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). His entry into politics surprised many, but his dedication and charisma quickly earned him a significant following.
Elected as a Member of Parliament from Asansol in West Bengal, Supriyo served in the 16th and 17th Lok Sabha. During his tenure, he held various ministerial roles, including:
Minister of State for Urban Development
Minister of State for Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises
Minister of State for Environment, Forest, and Climate Change
His contributions in these roles were noteworthy, focusing on urban development and sustainable initiatives. However, his political journey took a dramatic turn in 2021 when he joined the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC). In 2022, he was elected as a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly and appointed Cabinet Minister for Information Technology and Electronics in the state government.
Balancing Music and Public Service
One of the remarkable aspects of Supriyo’s career is his ability to seamlessly balance his love for music with his political responsibilities. While politics now occupies a significant portion of his life, he remains deeply connected to his musical roots. He continues to perform at concerts and events, reminding fans of the magic he brought to Bollywood.
His dual career path reflects his dedication to making a difference — both as an artist who touches hearts with music and as a politician committed to serving the people.
Personal Life and Resilience
Babul Supriyo’s personal life has also been a testament to resilience and strength. His first marriage ended in divorce, but he found love again and remarried in 2016. He is a proud father to two daughters, and his family remains a source of inspiration and support.
Despite facing challenges, Supriyo’s journey highlights the importance of perseverance. Whether it was the initial struggle to establish himself in the music industry or the complexities of navigating Indian politics, he has always emerged stronger.
Legacy and Inspiration
Babul Supriyo’s story is not just about personal success; it is about inspiring others to dream big and work tirelessly to achieve their goals. His transition from a celebrated singer to a respected politician underscores the value of adaptability and continuous growth.
For aspiring artists, his musical journey serves as a reminder that passion and dedication can pave the way to success. For young politicians, his story is a lesson in balancing ambition with the desire to serve society.
Conclusion
Babul Supriyo journey from Uttarpara to the corridors of power is a story of determination, talent, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. As a singer, he gave us songs that resonate with emotions; as a politician, he has worked towards meaningful change. His life is a testament to the idea that one can excel in multiple fields with dedication and hard work.

Possa
Possa Cinque Terre Liguria, Italy 2022 Blend - Bosco, Rossesse Bianco, Albarola A wine from the steep Ligurian World Heritage Site slopes overlooking the ocean. Spends just 5 days on skins for texture rather than colour to accentuate the pure, dense fruit. A long saline finish and pronounced herbal character from a place famous for its basil. Aged in a mixture of small oak and acacia barrels and stainless tanks for 8 months. A fresh, light white that is savoury, intensely aromatic and mineral.
The region The regions of Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria and Aosta Valley have intermediate to cool climates, meaning, the season is slightly shorter - thus, red wines tend to be more elegant, aromatic, and earthy in style. Whites sparkle with ample acidity. This region is typified by its high acidity, tart fruit and herbaceous flavours. Liguria is one of the smallest wine regions in Italy making this a rare find.
Regional wine production of Northern Italy: Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, Soave, Barbera, Valpolicella and Barolo (Nebbiolo). Possa A winery founded in 2004 to protect the rapidly disappearing vineyards in Cinque Terre - 100 years ago the grape cultivation area was 1400 hectares but has been drastically reduced now to just 100. Possa are one of only a dozen winemakers left on these steep slopes. Reviving and replanting several native grape varieties and using local acacia and cherry tree wood to make the barrels, they champion and protects the unique identity of Cinque Terre. The grapes Bosco - hyper local grape grown predominantly in Liguria, a DOC of Cinque Terre. Great for blending it results in a full bodied wine as it gives structure and richness. Rossesse Bianco - a DOC of Langhe, Piedmont. Light bodied with fresh flavours. Albarola - from Liguria. Can develop honey, perfume and floral aromas. Relatively neutral in flavour. Tasting notes: salinity, minerality, basil, melon, smoke, green apple, gooseberry Pairing: shellfish, pasta, mature and hard cheese, cured meat
