Hi!
I always see people for say SS fans making paralles of the relationship between Sarada and Boruto as a Sakura and Sasuke one. Saying for example "I feel like, just as for Sasuke it was always Sakura, for Boruto it will always be Sarada." And ...what a shit? They do just compare these 2 pairs because they are just 2 straight ships???
I don't like Boruto nor Sarada but they are in no way similar to SS dynamic. Also because SS had never proper battled even once together in canon, just twice in ova and movie, excluding the gaiden.
Tumblr media
While Sakura raised this girl, it's obvious that they are trying to portray her as with Sasuke personality, I think. Tho she still has some Sakura features.
I can not say they are as SNS because these 2 are lame, but I think they will be endgame in the end
But anyway what do you think, in question of their relationship and whom does Sarada maybe... resembles" the most?
Oh these SS jokers!!!!
Boruto series is a big joke which has nothing to talk about in a serious discussion. Even if we are blind in both eyes, the way that Boruto brat speaks and reacts are very similar to Naruto.
How can SS shippers take Boruto in place of Sasuke??? I really wonder.
That Brat never acquired any of those Sasuke's characteristic attributes, say, analytical ability, sharp decision making skills or logical sense or a signature Jutsu passed down from Sasuke.... Nothing.... And they are standing at 200+ episodes. By this time, Naruto had already learnt 'Kuchiyose No Jutsu' and his signature 'Rasengan' from Jiraiya... And his ideals as well, that is, 'A Shinobi is someone who endures and never give up'.... [[What is Sasuke's Ninja Way anyway? I never saw any mention of this in the Manga]]
What did Boruto learn from Sasuke??
In my opinion, Nothing. Atleast, for now.
Other than the Raiton (Lightening) Element, they don't have anything in common. So, Boruto is just a clone of Naruto. That's all!!
But
Tumblr media
In this Much-Touted Dark opening, Boruto was seen wearing Sasuke’s Cape, acquired Sasuke’s Sword and Hitai-Ate (Head Band). This is very similar to how Boruto wore Naruto’s classic Orange Jumpsuit in Boruto Movie. So, Boruto will eventually learn to handle Katana at some point. When we look at the above picture, Boruto really resembles Sasuke.
So, Boruto is the representation Naruto + Sasuke. Not just Sasuke or just Naruto.
As for Sarada,
Ummm.... She is definitely not like Sakura in many aspects.
Like Salad is neither Horny nor Extremely Selfish unlike her mother. She is not a bitch towards her other teammates Mitsuki and Kawaki whereas Sakura was a total S-Class bitch towards Naruto or anyone else other than Sasuke. Salad makes battle plans for her teammates unlike that Horny Good-for-Nothing idiot who performed a Clown Show before Madara without discussing with her teammates... Eww...
But
At the same time, Sarada was introduced in Boruto the Movie, with Sakura's characteristics not like Sasuke. Sometimes, she speaks in an insensitive manner towards Boruto, just like her mom.
Tumblr media
Even in Gaiden, Salad was punching stuffs here and there and that was seen as her Power Display. She is good at Shuriken Jutsu and knows Katon No Jutsu. Now that she had learnt Chidori, I think that's the extent of Sasuke we can see in her. I don’t think we will ever see Sarada awakening Mangekyou Sharingan and using Susanoo. Because, Overusing MS will lose eye sight unless they have a Sibling who can give EMS, which Sarada don’t. And Sasuke only has EMS in one eye.
Plus,
We all know, Boruto is a Monthly Manga, Right?... So, Every Pages and Panels really counts and they won’t be dedicating panels for some useless or random stuffs. There are some informative panels which the Anime hasn’t explored yet. I think they plan to develop in detail in the upcoming episodes.
That is, 100 Healings Jutsu which Tsunade developed and Sakura also mastered.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
All these conversation happens right before Jigen Fight. But the Anime never animated these scenes. Look at how many panels dedicated to this information.
Which means we can easily see 3 or 4 episodes dedicated to Sarada where she is learning this Jutsu and find out the mystery of Karma which can eventually help Boruto and Kawaki in the Future. I mean, she doesn’t have to be just a Healer like Sakura, I could see Sarada evolve this Jutsu and find a new variant of it and awaken a mini Karma in her Forehead just like Sakura.... Maybe after the Time Skip.
And that’s why I feel, Sarada won’t be using Susanoo in the future because it will never help Boruto in the Battle. Whereas this Byakugou No Jutsu might!!!! (I am just speculating)
In any case, Sarada is a better and useful version of Sakura. There’s no doubt about it. And maybe because of personal Bias, I simply couldn’t see Sasuke in this girl.
Anyways, they will be the Endgame for sure. Whether they resembles a Clown version of SNS or a better version of SS or a new version of NS, is yet to be seen.
SNS is all about overflowing love, equal standing, devotion and unconditional Care.
SS is simply toxic, thirsty, horny, abusive and dysfunctional. I really don’t think this disgusting ship’s dynamics will be repeated ever again. SS peeps can delude whatever they want, but this is not happening.
NS is miles better compared to SS/NH and looked fun in Movies and Fillers.
In my opinion, BoruSara aesthetically looks like SNS but their dynamics is a better version of NS, I mean, minus Sakura’s stupid Punch and rabid obsession towards Sasuke. I simply can’t see a single shred of SNS dynamics in these idiots.

the broken promises (we are untangling this distant parents circle)
part v
"I talked to Shikamaru," Naruto said when they were in their room. "It will take time, but we will arrange for me to be home in time, at least for dinner. Kakashi-sensei used to be able to do it; I should be able too. And maybe—only working half a day on weekends. So at least I can go home in the afternoon."
"Transition takes time," Hinata said softly. "Go home in time for dinner."
"Okay." Naruto wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer. He rested his head on her shoulder. Naruto used to love to bury his face in her hair, but in the summer of their fourth year of marriage, Hinata cut her hair. Having a toddler and baby who like to pull and spit things out in hot weather doesn't go well with long hair. Hinata had more peace with her shoulder-length hair now. "I was afraid."
"What were you afraid of?"
"I know I messed up at Himawari's birthday party," Naruto said quietly, "and when Boruto cheated, I think I knew very well things had gone wrong. But then Momoshiki and Kinshiki kidnapped me and—" Naruto paused for a moment.
"How do you feel?" Hinata asked, touching Naruto's hand on her waist. She had asked him this before, hours after his return, with Sakura trying to convince him to take a nap, and Shikamaru had everything under control. Fighting the kidnappers exhausted him, even though Naruto had incredible stamina. Sakura threatened him with sleeping pills if Naruto didn't sleep willingly. After Naruto complied, Sakura turned to fuss over Hinata, telling her to rest as well. But it's hard for them not to wake up when their son isn't awake. At least Himawari is safe. Until now, Hinata's lower abdomen still hurt if she sat or stood for too long.
"When I was kidnapped?"
"Yes."
He was silent for a moment. "… It's hard to describe, Hina. It just… painful."
Hinata stared at the moon outside the window, considering carefully. "Do you need to speak to a professional? It's not something to be taken lightly."
"After this exam mess subsides, I'll try to talk to Sakura-chan and the Mental Health Department," Naruto said with a hint of objection in his voice. Hinata squeezed his free hand appreciatively. It's not easy for their generation to go to the Department of Mental Health, admit that something in their head is broken and needs fixing. Something that medical ninjutsu's green light couldn't heal.
"And then I saw Boruto coming with Sasuke." Naruto's voice cracked a little. "We have to fight only with taijutsu because Momoshiki can absorb ninjutsu and restore it. So he should be safe—then Katasuke and his companies somehow managed to sneak in, bombarding Momoshiki with ninjutsu. The collection of ninjutsu makes the vicinity of Boruto's hideout explode. Sasuke caught him before he was hurt any further, but there's a shard of rock that's already hurt him."
Hinata had more or less heard this story, from Sasuke's point of view and Naruto's vague story when they had just returned home. She remembered she huddled in the chair, holding the pain in her stomach, hugging the sleeping Himawari. At the same time, Naruto spoke shakily, pacing next to the unconscious Boruto's bed until he slumped wearied into another chair.
"His Rasengan is good, and really cool, ttebayo. Sasuke said it was most likely that he accidentally put the raiton in his Rasengan, so it could disappear before it reappeared. He has your affinity, I guess."
"I thought it was just a deviation from your Rasengan?" Boruto had told her about his too-small and disappointing Rasengan at night while helping her cook.
"No, it's become a variation of the new Rasengan." Naruto smiled, looking Hinata in the eyes. "All this time, it turned out that we mistook his affinity for fuuton."
"That's good." Hinata smiled a little, heart blooming with pride. As a Hyuuga, she only focused on taijutsu and had little chance of developing her ninjutsu; she only had a few jutsu under her belt. Maybe she can teach them to Boruto.
"I thought he was okay. Boruto has huge chakra reserves—we know that, ttebayo. So I believed he was only slightly injured. Sakura-chan will be able to heal him. We'll be home soon, He was standing next to me, and suddenly he just fell and passed out. Chojuro checked it and said he was just experiencing chakra exhaustion. But he's barely breathing—" Naruto's voice cracked, turning hoarse. He whimpered weakly, burying his face in Hinata's shoulder.
Hinata blinked, trying to hold back the tears. She doesn't cry easily—it's an inborn trait from her childhood. Her father wouldn't stop training her just because she was sobbing in pain. She was meant to be the formidable Hyuuga heiress, and she had to be. What she felt as Neji lay in a coma in the hospital for weeks was nothing but emptiness, a constant lingering ache in her heart. She only managed to cry in the privacy of her room, burying herself under a pile of blankets.
Naruto is the opposite. He held a heart in his sleeve. And he's never really done that in public anymore, but there's just them here.
Hinata remembered the twelve hours of waiting because the time in the dimension where Naruto was kidnapped was different from this world. She could barely sleep, couldn't eat until Hanabi forced her to sit up and almost fed her. However, she was unable to show vulnerability; everyone was already panicking because Naruto had disappeared. The whereabouts of the four Kage who saved him were hidden, but there must have been rumors among the people for not having seen them. The Hokage's wife being broken in public will only exacerbate the anxiety.
They waited on the Hokage Tower's roof at dawn, at the time Sasuke had promised to come back. So many people were there; Sakura was ready with the medical team, Shikamaru was smoking, Temari was leaning on her tessen with an uptight expression; even Kakashi-sensei was there, along with the other trusted Kage bodyguards. Himawari was nodding off, playing with Pakkun and Sarada.
She was relieved when she saw Naruto emerge from the portal, standing tall. But then she noticed his pale face and Boruto in his arms, eyes closed with blood staining his hair and body drooping limply, and all Hinata did was want to scream at Sasuke. You promised to take care of my son, Hinata thought hysterically, as she ran over, knees trembling. I told you—don't make the stupid decisions I once did. What would they call my dead son? An unnecessary loss, a tragedy?
Iryonin almost reached Boruto at the same time as Hinata. The words died on Hinata's lips as the iryonin checked; Naruto clutched their son tightly to his chest, asking in a shrill whisper if their son was okay, he just needed to rest after the chakra exhaustion, doesn't he? As soon as she heard the word chakra exhaustion and saw the nod that Hyuuga's iryonin gave, the knot in Hinata's chest loosened. The knot tightened again as the iryonin screamed for a gurney and oxygen; Boruto needs treatment, as he barely breathes.
It took thirty-six hours for Boruto to come to his senses. Sakura said it was a mixture of chakra exhaustion and mental burden that had kept him unconscious for so long, though his vital signs quickly improved once he was treated. Hinata supported herself with coffee, forcing herself to eat real food even though it all tasted like rubber. She was forbidden to eat rations, and Sakura strictly prohibited the use of soldier pills while her wounds were still healing. Himawari stays with Hanabi and Hiashi, while Naruto spends his time talking to Shikamaru or Sasuke or Kakashi-sensei and the other Kage, otherwise waiting for Boruto to wake up with her. They didn't speak except a little and just held on to each other. Several people glanced, wanting to see, including Sarada and Mitsuki, but Hinata hardly had the energy to open the door, except for Iruka-sensei, her father, Hanabi, and Neji.
It was the worst thirty-six hours of Hinata's life. This is a time of peace. The death rate has long been declining, and life expectancy is increasing. Less than two percent of shinobi die before fifteen, less than thirteen percent die before eighteen. Boruto is only twelve years past a few months. He shouldn't have died. Hinata shouldn't have buried her son.
"I assumed he was safe," Naruto said slowly, lifting his face. "I was a fool to think he was safe on a battlefield like that. He's a twelve-year-old genin. We are working hard to make this world a better, Hina, safer for children to grow up well. I tried to make sure it was for every kid in the village. But I missed the attention of my own son.
Shikamaru once said that to me—two or three years ago. He said I couldn't spend my whole life behind the desk. Everything I wanted—love and recognition, all waiting at home. Here, with all of you. But I--I wasn't listening. I gave him excuses and excuses and excuses, and then he said, what would I do if I kept getting lost in this rush and forgot to say good morning and goodnight to the kids? What would I do if a mission was their last and I never got a chance to say goodbye because I was too busy? I ignored it because I didn't think it was possible. Our children are strong and always survive many things.
Hina—I grew up without my parents. I buried them before I knew what death was. It hurt, but—I never knew them. I'm used to living without them. But I can't bury my children, Hina. I've known Boru and Hima all their lives. How can I recover from such a loss?"
Hinata shook her head, not knowing the answer. She thought she would fall apart if that happened. That thirty-six hours, she felt her world was ready to tear apart above her head. "The kids are fine. We know this."
"Yes." Naruto sighed, rubbing his face. "I don't want that to happen again, Hina. I want to be with our kids, watching them grow, ttebayo. I never realized how much Boruto had grown until then. When did he become that tall and heavy? In the blink of an eye, he's not a boy anymore."
"It was easier when they were little." Before the Academy and after going through the toilet-training phase were the sweetest times, Hinata recalled. Both Boruto and Himawari had colic for months. It was a traumatic moment when they always lacked sleep, especially during Himawari’s phase, and there was angry Boruto in the middle of the night because he was woken up by his little sister's crying. That's why they didn't want any more children after Himawari; Hinata put the IUD.
Naruto smiled. He still looks a little sad, a little regretful, but overall he looks happier. "I won't break my promise this time."
Hinata smiled. "We will go step by step at a time together, okay?"
That doesn't mean the world has magically gotten better. They don't become perfect parents overnight. There were still days when Naruto couldn't come home when work forced him to go home late at night. There are still promises that he broke. There is still an endless stream of work. Sometimes, Boruto is still angry, and Himawari is still sad, and Hinata is still disappointed. There would be a day where Naruto would ask Hinata if it was all worth it, all this busyness, all the days of their children grow he'd been missing. There would be a long discussion one day, a few months after Himawari graduated from the Academy, whether Naruto should just retire (He didn't).
But Boruto would wake up before dawn, and he would train with Naruto, then exchange stories with him in their backyard as the morning dew rose. Himawari will walk joyfully, hand in hand with her father (not a shadow clone, never again) home from the Academy. There will be several dates in stolen time, one short film watched in an empty room in the Hokage Tower during lunchtime, because apart from learning to be better parents, Hinata and Naruto must remember to be Hinata and Naruto, a couple, not just Hokage and the Hyuuga Clan advisor.
"Hey, Touchan," Boruto said on a cold mid-January Saturday morning while setting the table for breakfast. It snowed last night, covering Hinata’s flowers in their front yard. Himawari put down the panda socks she had just finished crocheting herself, took a picture to show to Sarada (by Sakura's number) via Hinata's cell phone. "Do you think we can have lunch together today?"
"Okay," Naruto answered quickly, his voice muffled by the red scarf wrapped around his neck. It was the eighth scarf Hinata had knitted for him, with gold stripes. In his hand was a newspaper. "But no burgers."
"Touchannn!" Boruto scowled. "What's wrong with a burger, ttebasa?"
"That's junk food, Boruto."
Boruto looked at Naruto in disbelief. "I heard Sakura-obasan nagging you about the sodium in the ramen."
Hinata laughed, placing tamagoyaki on the dining table. "We can eat cake for lunch. Himawari will support Mama, right?"
"Cheesecake at Kiko-san's place?" Himawari asked, blue eyes wide. Her eyes were just like Naruto's, bright blue like the summer sky. Hinata nodded in amusement. Himawari let out a small happy shriek.
"Hina, I thought you were on my side." Naruto gasped. "Don't you miss Ichiraku's shoyu ramen? Imagine how good it would be to eat ramen with narutomaki on a cold day like this."
"I can't believe Baachan and Hokage-jiichan named you after a ramen topping. How obsessed are they?" Boruto shook his head. "It's a good thing I wasn't named like that."
Hinata exchanged looks with Naruto. They will keep it a secret that they once joked about naming him Menma for forever.
"Mama, there's a message from Sakura-obachan," Himawari murmured as Naruto and Boruto talked about the rank D mission he was going to take today. Boruto complains about the snow, and all the missions will be to shovel snow from the yard; Naruto reminded him to change his jacket because what was the point of him wearing a jacket with ripped shoulders in winter?
"This is cool!" Boruto insisted. Hinata watched Naruto say something in a low tone, which made their son blush, then laughed. They have a similar laugh. Hinata smiled, putting her phone in her pocket.
"Can you guys come home at lunchtime? Sakura-chan said there was a beef sale at the market today. So we can eat sukiyaki for lunch."
"Can we add shiitake mushrooms too, Mama?" Himawari requested. Hinata mused about the contents of the refrigerator, patted Himawari's head. They also had enokitake mushrooms in the fridge. She might just have to buy some more soy sauce—Himawari likes dishes with a lot of soy sauce.
Boruto nodded agreeably. Naruto checked his phone, then gave a thumbs up and clicked. "Since when did Sakura-chan know when there was a sale in the market? Isn't it Sasuke who usually goes to the morning market? She just often scorches her food."
Boruto mutters about Sarada's cute bento and how he can't believe that his cool shishou made a bento with bunny-shaped rice and octopus sausage. Hinata thinks Sasuke is now almost househusband after the Ootsutsuki threat was officially neutralized in September. She often met him at the morning market, bargaining with the vendors. Once or twice, he came to ask (Sakura told very amused that her husband was still not tech-savvy) about household concerns, like which detergent would remove blood and mud stains most effectively, because Sarada's light purple mission shorts were literally half-covered in very horrible filthiness which he didn't know where it came from.
All the food has been put on the table. Himawari exclaimed the loudest in her voice, which was full of childhood happiness. "Itadakimasu!"
Hinata's feet were cold; she forgot to wear socks. But her heart was warm with this homely bliss, and that was all that mattered.

“You know what, old man, some grandpas just take their family to the zoo.”
Boruto stated, between pants, holding the side of his body that almost got hit by his Kakashi’s strongest jutsu. After he defeated Momoshiki, he thought people would go easy on his training and stuff, but the contrary happened. His uncle decided to teach him one of the strongest jutsu he had ever seen.
At first, Boruto wasn’t interested at all. He thought he could live happily only with his vanishing rasengan, until the moment his master, Sasuke Uchiha, told him he wouldn’t be capable of realizing such strong jutsu. That was literally music to Boruto’s ears, there was nothing he liked more than proving other people wrong.
But after four weeks of really hard training, giving up actually crossed Boruto’s mind. He still wasn’t able to control the raiton yet, and this being by far the hardest thing he ever had put his mind on.
“You remind me terribly of your father at your age. He was also a pain in the ass, but at least he was focused.” Kakashi didn’t even bother to look up from the book in his hands.
“I bet dad didn’t go through a training this hard.” Boruto muttered, kicking a branch next to him. He was breathless and feeling like the air was escaping so easily from his own lungs. The whole world started to spinning faster than normal.
“Boruto?” Kakashi called out for him, but his concerned voice seemed far away. He threw aside his book, and ran to the boy’s direction. Almost as instinct, Boruto whimpered and scooched away from him, tears starting to form on the corner of his eyes.
His head spun faster and he could feel his pulse beating in his temples. He didn’t manage to contain a ‘not again’ that escaped his lips. Boruto bent forward, bracing his hands on his knees. Soft popping sounds echoed in his ears, and a blurry black framed his vision. He tried to fill his lungs, but it was like the air had disappeared. The whole world tilted and Kakashi slipped sideways in his vision.
Kakashi grabbed both of his shoulders to keep him from fall directly to the ground. The deeper Boruto tried to inhale, the tighter his throat constricted.
“I. Can’t. Breathe.” Boruto choked, clutching his throat with one hand.
Kakashi helped Boruto to sit. “Put your head between your knees.” He instructed, guiding his head down.
Boruto lowered his head, breathing rapidly, trying to force air inside his lungs. Very slowly, he felt the oxygen creep back into his body.
“Better?” Kakashi questioned after a minute.
Boruto just nodded, once.
“Keep your head down and take long, deep breaths.” Kakashi told him.
He followed his instructions, feeling a clamp loosen around his chest. “Thank you.” He muttered.
“Since when these panic attacks are happening, Boruto?” Instead of what Boruto expected, there wasn’t any tip of anger or pity on his sensei’s voice. It was carefully emotionless.
“It was the first time.” Boruto lied, not feeling in his bone the will to explain anything.
“You said ‘not again’. It happened before.” It wasn’t a demand, or anything. He was just stating what he witnessed.
But Boruto still didn’t know what to say. He didn’t want to confess it to one of the most powerful shinobi alive he had a new discovered weakness, and Kakashi being himself, he obviously noticed it.
“I have seen it happen before. With your father.” That made Boruto peer up to face Kakashi. He never heard about it before, so he thought it was a little hard to believe. Not that he actually thought his dad was perfect, or something, but having a panic attack? It was quite shocking for him.
“What happened, old man?” Boruto questioned, intrigued.
“He hyperventilated after he realized everyone wanted a dear friend of his dead. It was a hard burden to carry. Just like yours now.” Kakashi informed him with a shrug.
All Boruto could do was sigh. He had carrying this feeling inside him for so long now it almost felt like it was a part of himself. Both Mitsuki and Sarada noticed there was something wrong with him, but he still didn’t tell them, how could him? What they would thought about it?
“When it started?” Kakashi questioned again, but there was no pressure on his voice tone.
“Four weeks ago.” Boruto whispered.
“I see. Since Momoshiki, right?”
Boruto nodded, looking away, embarrassed.
“So, you were talking about your father when it happened.”
“It’s just…” Boruto glanced over the shinobi in front of him. Kakashi’s eyes were showing nothing but support at that moment. He breathed in deeply. “My father is strong. He is incredibly strong and he wasn’t capable to hold that bad guy. He almost died. There was only four of them, old man Kakashi. What if there’s more? What if the next time they come back with an army and we are not able to stop them? What if the next time they actually succeed killing someone I love?”
Kakashi studied Boruto’s words and took some time thinking about his answer. “The first rule of shinobi world is that you should not be afraid in anticipation. I’m not gonna lie, Boruto. It can happen. It can happen tomorrow, for all we know, but the key is to worry about things when they are happening. Exhausting yourself now for something that has a chance of not happening, it isn’t not worth it.”
“To let it go? That’s your advice?” Boruto narrowed his eyes at Kakashi.
“Not at all.” Kakashi placed one hand on his shoulder and squeezed lightly. “If it was that easy, you would have done it by now. My advice is focus on the things you can change. Right now, you can train harder, so if something happens, you will be as prepared as you can be.”
“I am trying.” Boruto bit his lower lip.
“I know, but you are not focused here. You are focused on the future. All you need to do is change your goal.”
The more that Kakashi talked, the more convinced Boruto was he had done the right thing telling him everything. He felt like there was a weight taken from his shoulders and he could finally breath without being afraid to lost the air of his lungs.
Kakashi was right, he would change the things he could, and then deal with the others when the times come.
“You were wrong, by the way.” Boruto’s tired eyes locked on his.
“Huh?”
“What you said it’s not the first rule of being a shinobi. The first rule is ‘those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their friends are worse than scum!”
Boruto gave Kakashi a quick hug, catching him completely off guard. The gray haired guy didn’t even had the chance to embrace him back, as he ran away. “Same time tomorrow?” He screamed.
“Yes.” Kakashi yelled back, breathing out in relief. He walked towards his book, opened on a random page on the grass. “I told you he would be fine.”
“I was concerned.” Sasuke came out behind a tree, resting his body on the trunk afterwards.
Kakashi’s mind was too scrambled by the slope of Sasuke’s eyebrows and the unyielding sincerity in his voice. “You were right. He was carrying so much inside of him and at some point, it would take its tools on him eventually.”
“A blond, blue eyed kid who acts like that is his job to carry the weight of the world on his shoulders? I wonder who he got that from.” Sasuke giggled dryly.
“Don’t mock Naruto, you are not so far behind. Let’s just hope Sarada didn’t inherent your rogue tendency.” Kakashi shrugged, not before sending Sasuke’s an amusement glance.
“Should we tell Naruto? About the panic attacks?” It was interesting for Kakashi the uncertain on Sasuke’s voice. His former student, who was usually so cool and confident under pressure, was showing signs of concern and caring towards someone. It didn’t go unnoticed the way he took another breath to steady himself either.
“Would you like both of us keeping it from you if was Sarada instead?” Kakashi jerked his head around to look at Sasuke, ready to argue, but the look on Sasuke’s face took all of the defensive out of him. The frustration in his tone wasn’t for him, but for his ‘student.
Sasuke sighed. “I will pass on Hokage’s office before leaving town.”
“Tell him not to say anything, or it will ruin our progress.” Kakashi pointed out.
“I will, but it’s Naruto we are talking about.” Sasuke felt silent, but his voice sounded smoother, and even thought Kakashi wasn’t looking at him, he could tell that his posture wasn’t so rigid either.
“People change. Who would thought you would use the reverse psychology to use your student to be around me?” Kakashi was grinning and Sasuke knew that. After all those years knowing that old man, not even a mask could hide the joy laced on his tone.
There was a long, awkward pause and Kakashi just sighed.
“Everyone would.” Sasuke replied, sounding a bit out of place himself, meeting Kakashi’s gaze solidly.
“But you did it to help him, not use him.” Kakashi easily noticed the guarded way Sasuke spoke. By now, he was ridiculously used by it.
Sasuke shrugged and looked away, his eyes scanning the path he would have probably left. “I have to go.”
Kakashi only nodded in response as he watched his former student leave.
“Kakashi?” Sasuke hesitated, but he didn’t turn back to look at the gray haired man. “Am I the Naruto’s friend that everyone wanted dead? Was it my fault?”
Kakashi nodded, once again and Sasuke just swallowed hard.
“Take care of him.” Although the way he said wasn’t a demand, but a request.
“I will, I always have. Sarada as well.” Kakashi sat down next to a tree, his body pressing the trunk, his books already opened on his lap.
“I know.” Sasuke’s sharpness returned to his voice before disappearing into the woods.

Okay, I actually pitty this poor individual‘s lack of knowledge. Sarada is one hell of an overpowered kunoichi but gets hate for a stupid filler fight?!
She has the Sharingan, monster strength, high intelligence, very good tai-jutsu, shuriken-jutsu, katon, raiton- what else do these idiots want? It‘s not her fault that Kishimoto sold his work just like it‘s not her fault that SP and that new pedo do everything to make Boruto special.
First, SasuSaku had to suffer because of that pathetic excuse of a studio and now Sarada. Great.

Its been two years
And people still cant grasp that
1.- Boruto not Sarada its the prodigy (genius) of this generation.
2.- He cheated to impress Naruto, who wasnt impressed with him knowing raiton, fuuton, suiton because to Naruto hard work is more important than talent.
3.- Naruto and the others never told their kids anything about their past. Boruto legit doesnt know what Naruto went trough as a child.
4.- Prior to Momoshiki and meeting Sasuke, Boruto had no idea what kind of ninja he wanted to be.
5.- Boruto lacks motivation, the so called will of fire, not talent.
6.- Boruto is not Naruto and Sarada is not Sasuke. They dont call eachother dobe and teme.

GIVE ME MORE BADASS NARUTO WOMEN KISHIMOTO! WE ALL KNOW BORUTO WAS A SELL OUT TO PANDER TO AUDIENCES! PANDER TO THE WOMEN, TOO, AND GIVE US KUNOICHI DOING WELL AND KICKING ASS!!! AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON NAMIDA!

Her literal jutsu is just her screaming. That's it. A scream. To be fair, it is a devastating scream, and she learns more skills, but it's still a scream as her jutsu while Boruto apparently learned the shadow clone jutsu, raiton, and a fūton jutsu. Smh.
Implausible problem #16372920: Tenten's weapon shop is failing because the Shinobi system is supposedly like "haha we don't need ninja" BUT literally people buy stuff like that all the time as weird collectors. Walk into any Asian themed curio shop and you're going to be confronted with a huge ass weapons market so literally now I'm just angry realizing Kishi just wants to screw over female characters and... idk I don't know where I was going with this. Have some salt to share.
When you think about how issue 700 is a “where are they now” issue, with characters getting 1-3 panels each, how they appear in that small space matters even more.
Let’s rate all the female character appearance in 700 based on how much they uplift or downcast the character.
Anko: one of the only characters whose face is bright and cheerful in 700… but, she’s fat… and while I would really like to believe that making her fat isn’t meant to be making her a joke… well. We’ll give this portrayal 8 points out of 10, since at least she’s happy.Hinata: genuinely looks happy, visiting cousin’s grave, being a good mom, 10/10Tenten: miserable, failing business, all alone, 0/10Temari: lecturing her son but gets ignored by him, is serving her brothers drinks but is uninvolved in actual ninja business, pinched face, 2/10Ino: enraged, instantly blows up into bitch fest with Karui whom she addresses with utter loathing, the men trying impotently to calm the women down 1/10Karui: tbh it is kinda fucking horrible that Karui treats the InoShikaCho formation so lightly. even if there is peace, there may not always be peace, and traditions like that are important to pass down. fight me, Karui. fight me right now. 1/10Kurenai: hanging out at home in her kimono looking older than she should (does Kishimoto have any idea how 40-50 year old women actually look? Tsunade un-henged has the same issue in the original series, Jiraiya looks fantastic but Tsunade looks like the crypt keeper), looking confused as her daughter dashes off to Actually Ninja, 6/10Tsunade: let the bitch fest commence! actually Tsunade is probably fine with this as long as there is an open bar. 10/10Terumi Mei: one-dimensional character is one-dimensional. oh boo hoo hoo I’m a drop dead gorgeous kunoichi with two kekkei genkai but no body wants to date me boo hoo hoo WTF. in what possible universe would this woman have trouble finding a man. 0/10Moegi:
Tumblr media
Ga-chk indeed. At least she’s basically doing some kind of ninja thing here though. 8/10Sakura: Woo boy. She’s shown dusting, complete with kerchief and apron.
Ok. let me get this straight. I’m a housewife, ok? Far be it from me to say that housewives are stupid, lame, useless, whatever. They/we are not. And housework and “low skill” cleaning is unfairly devalued, especially coded feminine tasks. But even I, who is comfortable in my identification as a feminist housewife, would not want to be depicted in a “where are they now” montage fucking dusting.
And Sakura is, at least supposedly, not just a housewife. She has really specific, important, rare skills regarding healing. It would make more sense for her to hire someone to do household chores (at a living wage!) so that she could spend more time keeping people from fucking dying. And then spend her well-earned off-time kicking back with a drink with an umbrella in it.
But it really comes down to this.
Did Kishimoto draw Naruto mowing the lawn? Did he draw Sasuke washing his clothes in a stream? No, he didn’t, did he?
Ok? THAT’S THE FUCKING DIFFERENCE, OK? DO YOU WONDER WHY?
Tumblr media
0/100
Kurotsuchi: literally the only female in the room during the kage conference. She gets a 10/10 but we’ve gone from two female kages and three female bodyguards as of the fourth war, to one female kage and no female bodyguards. so that’s 10/50.
Final score: BOO YOU FAIL
