13. favorite writing song/artist/album of this year

It's either My Dying Bride or Boris Slavov for artist. The BG3 soundtrack obviously fits very well, and there was a period where I had "I Want to Live" on loop for some of my writing. When I first noticed it in camp it really punched me in the gut.

Reminded me of the first time I really sat and listened to the Rivellon theme from D:OS2. Simplicity and layering done so well.

14. a fic you didn't expect to write

Honestly? All of them lmao. I don't normally write for video games, but The Moonmaiden's Grace just needed to come out because we didn't have an epilogue at that point. The rest is history.

If I'm not copping out, then probably the first Minthara/Lae'zel fic.

11. Awake - OK Goodnight

Beloved band. Casey Lee Williams all grown up and entering the rock/metal scene, I know a lot of people associate her with RWBY music but the band has a lot of potential and I love all 4 songs on this EP and their following concept album (featuring a great female growler too).

Anyways, Awake is on a playlist titled after one of the lyrics in the song created for a Jedi mental breakdown. Harm your darlings and all that...it's a long overdue breakdown.
