OK First of all I would like to apologize for taking so long to answer (as usual) '^_^ I haven't written any of this before so it's messy yada yada y'know the drill.

I have a bunch of ideas, but I haven't organized them. There's a lot of "holes" to fill here and there!! There's so SO much to digest here

It's long ASF so you're probably gonna get bored soon. You've been warned...

The timeline where Xenia comes from is split into **2-3 endings (?) (I can't make up my mind) her personality varies depending on whatever happens in each one of them. I will try to describe what I have thought on the main one aha--

Let me make clear one thing first, she has 3 sisters 🌜

-Celeste (Celes for short)

-Ianthe

But in most, she starts off as a calm yet insecure girl who aspires to improve herself (much like her mother, she has trouble socializing). She had pretty much a normal life along with her 3, no maverick bullshit or anything!! Everything was going pretty well.

Oh, but remember when I said that things would still go wrong?

At some point the 4 little shits get tracked down by some sort of illegal reploid laboratory (which is controlled by yet another character I haven't mentioned, Enyo) who was interested on them due to having X's DNA and get captured shortly after, except for Xion who managed to scape (not without getting badly injured in the process and losing part of her memory, but that's technically ANOTHER story???)

Back to the other 3, they were locked inside a lab along with a bunch of other reploids to be experimented on and/or thoroughly investigated.

After being locked in for several weeks they get out together. They have no fucking idea where they are and they have no one to ask for help.

The story is basically about the three girls trying to survive in the streets of a shady town and unintentionally getting in trouble.

Xenia is pretty much the leader of the group, she legit was forced to grow up (? Celes is the intelligent one and Ianthe provides moral support (she's the youngest! She's just a little girl, she's trying her best)

I know this ask ain't about her lemme tell ya, she's an absolute sunshine compared to everyone (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠) Uh... More like, she was. She got shot until she died the same guys who captured them earlier, like I said they are from an ILLEGAL organization so they tried to kill them all in order to avoid getting shut, but only Ianthe was successfully murdered.

**In all endings, the 2 remaining girls get to reunite with their parents- as for Xion... Like I said, that's another story 😭 I can make a post about her sometime, but she's alive. For now.

Once they were old enough to stand up for themselves, each one took different paths; Celes works as a navigator and Xenia, still consumed by an overwhelming feeling of guilt over not being able to save her other 2 sisters, decided to work as a... (Un)profesional hunter. She would have chosen something more legal, but the truth is that she doesn't consider the law and its punishments effective enough. Overall, she's calm but when it comes to crime and its perpetrators she won't show any mercy.

Now for the relationships part;;

All of them had a pretty good bond!! The girls weren't really troublesome, X and Mel have always been worried about them (maybe they're a little bit overprotective but ssshhh) UNTIL they got older. Celes was able to recover a little bit more easily and maintain contact with her parents (she's more composed and mature, despite being younger than her sis) Xenia is still going through that process, but she tries really REALLY hard to hide it; even though she really loves them she kind of ended up isolating herself in GENERAL and unintentionally became slightly more distant.

But as I said, that doesn't mean she doesn't like her family any less! If you hurt them, you're literally gonna get your ass beat in mere seconds

X and Mel still have an immense fondness for her but I'd be lying if I said they weren't slightly disappointed in her somewhat violent methods to resolve things.

Btw, I saw your reblog and the tags you added, Xenia herself took the decision to upgrade herself to be absurdly taller!!! She did it because it makes her look cooler makes her slightly more intimidating.

...Unconsciously, she has associated tallness with fear, since her captor (Enyo) was characterized for being tall as well (around 190-205cm, I don't remember lmao)

Your friend deactivated. How did you feel about that? I can understand the disappointment from fans, but maybe it's because I kind of knew this was the path he was going to take, I went from being a passionate fan to a passive one a while ago.

He wants to cater to that part of his fanbase instead of exploring a new one. He's still young at the end of the day, but thank goodness he's not the only actor I stan. Otherwise, I'd be bored asf. That's why my big objective with actors specifically is to have more than one in your roster. Most don't have the same career, and it's less energy stressing. Right now, his personal life and Spiderman are important to him. I just have to respect that, even if I dont like it.

- lilith persona chart can show how you turn people on, or how you can be viewed as ‘hot’ or whatever. e.g. i have sun conj mercury in 3rd (with mars too) and i know i can dirty talk good asf, and say exactly what they want to hear. i also have a cancer rising, and i’m v small, and i guess some people, particularly men, like that. ( this may also get its own separate post, we’ll see!!)

- whatever house your jupiter is in, you may be afraid to lack. e.g. jupiter in 3rd may feel the need to be intelligent and hate doing bad, but also hates misunderstanding someone. jupiter in 5th may always want to be fun, and doesn’t want to be boring.

Now that you’d gotten a taste of what life outside your quarters in the manor could be like, you quickly grew restless in your room. You’d always been independent, after all, and being stuck inside with only your cat for company grew old fast. The vampires – at least the ones you’d met so far – seemed nice enough, and maybe if you played nice, they’d eventually let their guard down and agree to let you go back to the Guild.

With that goal in mind, you suddenly couldn’t wait to set your new plans into motion. You’d never really kept tabs on the boys and what they did when they were up since you were usually asleep at night, but you figured it couldn’t hurt to check it out tonight. You’d slept most of the day away, anyway, after coming back from the garden with Namjoon.

Come 11pm, you were standing in your nice walk-in closet getting dressed. You’d been caught in your pajamas by Namjoon this morning, but that was not going to happen again – if you were to be an ambassador, the manor was technically your place of work, and you could not be seen walking around in sleepwear. It was unprofessional, to say the least.

You pushed aside the little voice in your head informing you that you were being ridiculous, that there had never been an ambassador for the hunters and there was no reason to have one now, that your current title was a farce.

Strapping your hip holster on under your jacket and hiding your knives away in your boots, you gave Injeolmi one more round of scratches      behind his ears before you left your room. “All right…” you muttered to yourself, going back down the hallway to the stairs you’d found this morning. It didn’t take long for you to run into one of the vampires – Jungkook, the youngest one, had his head inside the massive fridge in the kitchen downstairs.

You hesitated to make your presence known, standing next to the wall, but he turned around to give you a friendly smile. “Hello Y/n-ssi,” he greeted you politely. “What are you doing here?”

“Good evening, Jungkook-ssi,” you responded with a bow. “I got bored hanging around my room, is all,” you said with an awkward shrug. If he noticed how weird you were being, he didn’t mention it.

“Well, it’s nice to see you,” he said, looking awkward as he slowly closed the fridge. He was still empty-handed when he withdrew, and you raised your brow at him.

“Didn’t you come to grab something from the fridge?” you asked, looking down at his hands.

“Oh, I… uh-” He fumbled awkwardly, flushing. You bit back the urge to pinch his cheeks or give him a cuddle. Get a grip, you ordered yourself. He was a vamp, not a dongsaeng from the Guild, even if he looked like it from his boyish demeanor and simple black clothing. There would be no casual affection, even if you could form a cordial working relationship with the other vampires in the compound.

As you chastised yourself, frowning slightly, Jungkook grew more uncomfortable, dithering in front of the fridge. Your appearance was definitely welcome, but he’d come down to grab a bag of blood after waking up, and now he didn’t know if you would be comfortable seeing him drink it. He still vividly remembered your reaction to the frozen blood bag Taehyung had given you, and didn’t much fancy staring down the barrel of a gun again. As he watched your face twist into a light scowl, he began panicking even more, wondering if he should just get out of here. He could smell the gunpowder on you and knew your gun was somewhere on your person.

Snapping back to attention as he began to fidget, you smiled at him. “You can grab the blood bag, you know,” you offered, figuring that was probably why he was there.

“Oh, uh, okay,” Jungkook responded meekly, opening the fridge again. From your vantage point, you could see neat stacks of blood, but the drawers at the bottom looked to be filled with fresh produce. He picked a bag from the pile and closed the fridge again, still looking unsure of yourself.

“Where do you get these?” you asked curiously, taking a closer look. They looked like they were hospital bags, now that you were paying attention.

“Uh… the blood drive center gives us the unusable or extra stuff,” Jungkook explained.

“Huh. That’s very… efficient,” you said with a raised brow, and Jungkook squeaked, wondering if you were mad. The noise was so adorable you smiled at him, though, and it made his dead heart squeeze.

“All right, go enjoy that,” you nodded at the blood bag he was holding. Jungkook wasn’t quite ready to leave your presence, but figured he might as well cut his losses and stop embarrassing himself in front of you, so he just nodded and bade you goodbye as he started to run back to his room.

“Wait, Jungkook-ssi?” you called as he started going up the stairs, and he paused, turning to see what you wanted. “Do you know who’s been cooking my food?”

“Ah, that’s Jin-hyung,” he told you before disappearing.

Jin, hmm? That was interesting, you thought. You didn’t know that vampires could cook, since it wasn’t like they were eating the food they made, and for the vampire you’d previously known to be stoic and kind of mean, if you were being honest, to be cooking all your meals every day, without any thanks…

Somehow that felt weird. Not bad weird, but it made you feel a little fuzzy inside, something that had previously only happened to you when Jennie came by with some extra treats she’d managed to smuggle off the streets during her patrols. Still thinking about it, you started going up the stairs, following the path Jungkook had taken. You hoped you wouldn’t get lost again.

Wandering down the empty halls, you could take your time absorbing your surroundings. This was a part of the manor that you’d never been to, and it was somber and quiet, without any of the windows that were part of the décor of the wing you were housed in. That made sense, you supposed, since based on your interactions with Namjoon earlier you knew that they were sensitive to the light.

As you were walking past one of the doors, it popped open unexpectedly, giving you the fright of your life. You screamed and whipped your gun out as you spun around to meet this new threat, coming face to face with Taehyung, who jumped when he heard you scream and quickly put his hands up.

“It’s just me! I’m not going to hurt you!” he cried, trying to look as un-intimidating as possible. A little hard for a vampire who towered over you, but his big eyes and guileless expression did make you feel a little better. Squinting suspiciously at him, you nonetheless lowered your gun but didn’t put it back in its holster.

“I’m sorry I frightened you,” he offered, relaxing and putting his hands down.

You scoffed. “You didn’t frighten me,” you lied.

His lips twitched, trying to hold back a laugh at how cute you were, but he didn’t respond, instead falling into step with you. You didn’t recoil from him or tell him to leave you alone, which he took as a good sign. “What brings you to these parts of the manor?” he asked, trying to make conversation.

Glancing askance at him, you asked, “Am I not allowed?”

“Uhhh…” he backpedaled furiously. “N-no! Of course I didn’t mean that, I mean… you can go wherever you want to, it’s just…”

You couldn’t hold back your giggles anymore. “Relax, man, I’m just kidding,” you managed to get out. Now that you weren’t incapacitated in some way, you felt a little better around Taehyung. He seemed innocent enough, if you put aside the unfortunate way you’d first met him. Even though he was taller and broader than you, you got the sense – at least when he wasn’t charging at you – that he would never hurt a fly, which was strange considering      he was literally an apex predator.

“I heard Seokjin-ssi has been cooking my meals,” you said with forced casualness once you calmed down.

“Uhh, yeah,” Taehyung said carefully, watching you. He might crave your approval and attention, but Seokjin was still his brother, and he was a little cautious about where this was going.

“Is he around? I’d like to pay my compliments to the chef, as it were.”

Brightening up, he nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah, I’ll take you to him!” When he strode ahead of you to show you the way, there was a bounce in his step and you shook your head almost fondly before catching yourself. Nonthreatening demeanor or not, he was still a vampire. There must be something in the water here, if it was making you feel this way towards vampires. What next? Wanting to sleep with them?

You let Taehyung chatter on, only half paying attention to him as he took you to Jin’s study. You were almost surprised when he stopped in front of an imposing double door. “Here he is,” he giggled before busting the doors wide open without so much as a knock.

Seokjin, who was sitting at his desk as usual, looked up with a scowl at the disturbance. He’d heard Taehyung’s voice approaching and knew that he would be dropping in, but that didn’t make it any less irritating. As much as he loved his younger brother, the man needed to learn about boundaries. “How many times have I told you-” he started ranting, before trailing off when he spotted you standing next to Taehyung.

“Oh,” was all his mouth could manage, and Taehyung smirked knowingly at him.

“Right, here he is! I’ll leave you to your very important discussion,” he fairly sang as he wandered back down the hallway he came from.

Seokjin shook his head at his brother’s antics, then turned his attention towards you. “Did you need anything?” he asked, trying for cordial but falling slightly short.

“Yes.” Undeterred by his unwelcoming demeanor, you entered the room, going to stand behind the chairs on the other side of his desk. “I heard that you’ve been cooking my meals.”

At your tone and the way your hands were still stuffed into your pockets, Seokjin stiffened, on high alert now. “Yes,” he said warily. “Is that a problem?”

Realising how confrontational you must look and sound right now, you quickly adjusted your posture, letting your hands relax by your sides. “I, um… just wanted to say thank you,” you said slightly unsurely, looking away awkwardly. Why was this so difficult? “They were really good.”

At your words, he brightened up. “Thank you, Y/n-ssi,” he said formally. “It’s my pleasure.”

Your eyes darted towards him, saw the almost tender expression he was wearing as he smiled at you, and immediately darted away again, a flush now stealing over your cheeks. He bit the inside of his cheek to keep from cooing at how cute you were. “Is there anything else?” he prompted, because it didn’t look like you were going to leave.

“Uh, yes.” You gathered yourself enough to appear professional, clearing your throat and smoothing your hands over your jacket. “I wanted to know if there are official duties for me…? As ambassador…?”

“Yes, take a seat.” Seokjin took his glasses off – you hadn’t even known vampires could be shortsighted, how about that – and leaned back in his chair. “Since your primary role will be to improve the relations between hunters and vampires, I think it would be best for you start by cultivating good personal relationships with the vampires.”

Cultivating good personal relationships…? He just wanted you to make friends? You blinked at him, surprised. Somehow you’d thought your role would involve more actual… work. Still, you shrugged it off. You’d never been the diplomat, after all. Being a hunter was more like being the muscle of the operation.

“All right, and how do you suggest I do that?”

He smiled at you and leaned forward.

It was five am, and you weren’t sure if this was a good idea. You stood in front of the mirror in your walk-in closet, clad in the one dress you owned. Injeolmi was seated on the padded chair – in the closet! – staring at you calmly. Clearly, he didn’t share your trepidation.

“What do you think, baby?” you asked, giving yourself a critical once-over. The dress was black and modest, and, in all honesty, before tonight you’d only worn it at funerals for fallen hunters.

He meowed at you, looking unimpressed, and you sighed. “Yeah, probably,” you conceded, but didn’t change. Instead you said bye to him – with a good dose of pets and ear scratches – and left the room for your dinner/breakfast with the vampires. Seokjin had told you that it would be a good way to get to know the others, and you’d agreed hesitantly.

You walked down the now-familiar path from your room down to the kitchen. The dining area was next to the kitchen, and as you came through the arched entryway, you paused for a moment. The six vampires you’d already met were all seated, and there was a strong smell of blood permeating the entire room. Wrinkling your nose, you steeled yourself. The metallic scent wasn’t something you were necessarily squeamish towards, but you did have certain negative associations with such a strong scent of blood. You swallowed hard, trying not to think of the last bloodbath you’d walked into that had smelled very similar, and entered the dining hall.

“Good morning,” you said, smiling politely as all of them rose out of their chairs. They echoed your greeting and you walked over to the only place that had an actual meal with table settings laid out. The rest of them had what looked like soup bowls full of blood in front of them, and you shuddered inwardly, but tried not to show your aversion on your face. Jin grinned at you proudly as you sat down, looking at the meal laid out in front of you. Today, he’d gone with a traditional Korean meal, with a soybean stew, steamed rice and a collection of side dishes laid out neatly.

“Thank you,” you said, smiling at him while trying not to take deep breaths. You could do this, you thought to yourself, clenching your hand into a fist on your lap. With the other hand, you picked up your chopsticks and levelled them against the table. “Please, dig in,” you invited as you picked up a piece of kimchi to put it in your mouth.

It seemed that, as with most things, you’d overestimated yourself. As you started eating, all of them started drinking the blood like they would soup, something you’d think was strange if you weren’t currently too busy sprinting to the garbage bin in the kitchen to empty your stomach. When they started stirring the blood, the smell had gotten even stronger and watching them slurp it down, you couldn’t stop seeing all the traumatic battles you’d been in, images of bodies torn up by vampires and your own fallen brothers and sisters playing on a loop in your mind that you couldn’t stop.

“Jesus, what-” One second you’d been digging in, and the next you were abruptly gone from the room, so quickly that all of them wondered, even though they knew it was impossible, if you were actually a vampire.

The answer to the question in all their minds became clear a moment later when the sounds of you gagging and retching reached them. The boys reacted immediately, springing out of their seats and dashing to the kitchen where you were currently bent over the bin.

“Oh, God, are you okay?” Jimin sprang to your aid, coming to stand beside you and helping you hold your hair away. Now that he was doing it, you released it and used your now free hand to brace against the bin.

“Jesus, hyung, what did you feed her?” Yoongi asked, his face screwed up in disgust.

Seokjin puffed up his chest angrily. “Yah, this isn’t my fault! It must have been because she saw your ugly face!”

Finally done, you staggered over to the sink and turned it on to start rinsing your mouth. “Sorry,” you mumbled. “That was really gross; I’ll take out the trash.”

“No, no, Jungkook is already taking care of it,” Jimin said, still stuck to your side. You turned slightly and saw that Jungkook was, indeed, already tying off the trash bag.

“Are you okay? Do you feel sick?” Taehyung asked, hovering nearby.

You shook your head, embarrassed by all the attention you were getting now. “No, it’s just the smell of blood…”

All of them blinked, clearly not following.

“Uh, when it’s too strong, it kind of reminds me of…” You trailed off awkwardly, not wanting to go into the gory details, mostly because you didn’t want to keep thinking about it.

They got it nonetheless, grimacing as they realized what had set you off. “Right…” Namjoon rubbed the back of his neck and the others similarly looked guilty. Looking around at them, you felt bad for ruining the dinner/breakfast. They looked like they’d tried real hard about it too, all dressed up nicely.

“Do you want to go back to your room to rest?” Jimin asked, holding on to your arm like he was worried you were going to topple right over if he let go.

“Uh, no, I’m fine,” you said, trying to shrug off his grip subtly. He noticed and let you go, but cast you a slightly wounded look that you ignored. “I’m gonna go brush my teeth, but I’ll be right back,” you promised.

Back in your room, Injeolmi cast you a judgmental look. “Stop it,” you muttered defensively. “It wasn’t my fault.”

Despite the somewhat rocky start to your first official interaction with them, things did get better. They learned to use straws to suck the blood out of the blood bags like Capri Suns around you, which didn’t result in that overly strong blood scent that had set you off the first time, and you grew used to being around them. It wasn’t difficult to see, now that you were around them most of the time, that what you’d learned about vampires was incomplete at best.

After all, there was no way a soulless vampire like the ones you’d known in the past could make such delicious meals when he couldn’t even taste them, or be so utterly whipped for your cat. Being in the manor around the boys, you learned a lot, too – about yourself, and the world. Namjoon let you have free access to his library, and you’d never seen so many books in one place before. Unsurprisingly, reading wasn’t a common hobby among hunters, and the Head had never encouraged it either. Yoongi let you sit in the room and listen to him while he played the piano, and even taught you how to play simple nursery rhymes. The maknaes were always so welcoming – although to be honest, you weren’t sure if they were more interested in you or your cat. Jin made it clear that his study was always open to you, and was surprisingly easy to talk to once you got past his rather aloof exterior.

You quickly developed cordial friendships with the six of them, and Injeolmi adored that you now let him roam basically freely around the manor. There was just one thing you were curious about – every time you entered the main hall, you saw that painting of the vampires, but there were seven of them.

what was your favorite part, 1 or 2?

Honestly I loved both parts, but I’d say I loved part two just a little bit more for the time that James wasn’t under the curse anymore and LOVED Cordelia

which scene in the book was your favorite?

EVERY scene that had Matthew and James being wholesome parabatai in it!!! my favourite chapter in this book was Blue Ruin, the one after Grace takes the bracelet back from James  (aside from the whispering room ofc).

what scene (or scenes) made you cry the most?

ok ngl i didnt spend much of this book crying, but the only scene that actually made me tear up was when james was dying and matthew could feel it and jesse (WHO I FUCKING LOVED MORE THAN I THOUGHT I WOULD) gave him his last breath :(((((

what scenes were unsatisfactory?

there were not enough Christopher scenes (but to be fair, even if the entire book was just Christopher it still wouldnt be enough for me)

what bored you?

this wasn’t boring, but the whole charles/alastair plot line didn’t have me very invested. I did love the alastair/ cordelia scenes tho, so it was just charles that was the problem

also no offense to james bc he was my first actual fictional crush after reading TMH/NBS but like whenever he talked about being in grace i would literally zone out lol the bracelet curse makes him so boring but whenever he isnt in the curse/ is with someone who is NOT grace i just!! love him!!

what disappointed you?

cassie honestly had me kinda shipping matthew/cordelia for a solid FIVE SECONDS there when he stepped in to dance with her after james left her standing there, but that was one of the only scenes that made me feel like they had natural chemistry (along with the scene where he drops her off at her house). I felt like the during the rest of their interactions in the book, cordelia was kind of uncomfortable, which made me really sad because even tho she has every right to feel that way, i felt bad for matthew. I kind of want him to fall for someone else completely and for it to be reciprocated. also, i just really want for matthew and cordelia to become good friends because i feel like they could have such great natural chemistry if matthew didnt love her.

what are some things that were really unexpected?

ok there’s quite a few things here so bear w me babes:

- James genuinely loving cordelia from the start. I wasn’t expecting him to naturally feel nothing for grace at all, so i was expecting a slow burn jordelia, but finding out that he actually loves her makes me so happy but the end where cordelia thinks he was just pretending breaks my heart :(((

-matthew liking cordelia lol definitely was not expecting another parabatai love triangle but i hope it doesnt last. i do think it adds to the plot and i love it, it just hurts to see matthew so emo :(((

-I was expecting to like cordelia as a character, but i ended up LOVING her so fucking much???? she’s so three dimensional to me, and it’s interesting to see how her personality adapts around different characters as people adapt around different social circles irl

-liking jesse as much as i did

-ok so james’ entire character was a surprise to me. it’s so fascinating to see how the bracelet actually affected his personality.If you recall him in The Midnight Heir from TBC. he’s like an entirely different person. i still loved him in TMH but i went into CHOG thinking that if he was gonna be like that the entire time i’d probably get over him really quickly. i was pleasantly surprised by how much i ended up loving him even more tho

- Christopher is so much more clear headed than he was made out to be prior?? like there were so many scenes where he was fully there and when he defended anna to alastair i just kfdsnfkld i love him

yikes umm... Alastair, maybe? he’s somewhat okay to me now, I dont dislike him as much as I used to. ooh and Hypatia Vex. the only scene i remember liking her in QOAAD was when she helped out kit, ty and dru (me, going a whole TSC post without somehow mentioning kit? not possible)

are there characters that you liked before that you don’t like now?

I started CHOG ready to give Grace the benefit of the doubt, and I was surprised by how timid and shy she seemed at the start, but it was interesting to see how it was all an act and how she doesn’t have an actual personality yet. one could argue that she actually does love james, but i doubt it at this point. i dont hate her yet, even tho she IS fucking up james’ life, but she’s on thin fucking ice.

who was your favorite new character?

does new character mean completely new or just never been in a novella new? because for the first, it would be Cordelia (i LOVE her sm!!) and other wise it would be james, matthew and co. also!!! jesse!!

what places in the book would you like to visit?

did you like the ending?

ok so. we KNOW that jordelia is gonna be endgame. cassandra clare always takes the hardest path to get there, but when has she not delivered? it’s just a matter of waiting. so, yes, i did like the ending in sense of the plot because it was a great twist, but i also feel really bad for all of them even tho ik they’re eventually gonna be together :(((

what did you think of the epilogue?

i wasnt surprised, since we alr know that Tatiana is shady asf, but i just really wanna know how she partnered up with a GREATER demon like lol wtf. again, im really happy in terms of plot with this

what are your thoughts on the engagement?

i feel so. fucking bad. for cordelia. and james too, even tho he’s under the bracelet’s curse so he doesnt even KNOW he’s being manipulated. but i love how even through the curse, james still loves cordelia in his own way.

what did you want to see that didn’t happen?

matthew getting therapy periodt

umm honestly i just want more “merry thieves” content like i just love. all of them.

i really want matthew to tell james or cordelia what happened because i just need him to be loved and supported lol i want to give him a hug.

jordelia!!! and lucie and jesse are kind cute rn, and i like them if theyre gonna be pining after eachother but i feel like if they actually get together i wont like the relationship as much.

Griefer Myths Au

Griefer Myths is an AU @z0mbie-doodlez and I created. This is a little post will explain the plot. What Youtubers are included will be in a different post (Note: some of these characters may have head cannon names because the animation series they are from don’t give them names). Everything given here will be as basic as I could get it. Details on relationships and more in depths look into people’s lives will be later provided (questions appreciated). (Keep your seat belts on because this is strikingly long i am sO SORRY-)

The Basic Plot

Quick considerations: This AU was built off of the original animation series Griefer Legends by FrediSaalAnimations on Youtube so there are some clear similarities from that series to this AU. All Youtubers in this AU are based off of their Minecraft skins and characters, not them in real life (sounds silly to say, but it should mentioned). Not to spoil anything, but this AU takes a dark twist in the end. If you do not handle death well or topics such as manipulation, you’ve been warned (although I did try to be as toned down with it as I could).

GENERATION ONE: A kid named Herobrine grew up a fairly boring life as one’s supernatural being life can go. He had a brother named Notch. When Hero turned 17, he thought the world could need some spice and came up with the idea of Griefers. Griefing was still a thing that happened before this, but those who did grief didn’t have any special title. They were just criminals (which Griefers technically were criminals: the different name gives it a bit of finesse). Hero goes out one night and began finding a few kids to become the first official Griefers (this is over a series of nights). Notch was with him the whole way until now. The two made special swords together which are very similar besides the colors. (These swords could also shrink to necklaces and pop back to normal size by a hand’s touch. This became a signature to Griefers.) He didn’t like the idea of convincing children into this, but he very much liked the power and control he was able to have as a Griefer. He left Hero and parted his way to find his own world to be powerful in. The first official Griefers were to be known as: Ant, Sorce, ASF, Bajan, Dee, and 40. Being supernatural, his glowing white eyes easily attracted these preteens/teens and so eventually they take on the griefing lifestyle under Hero’s teachings. (Note: not all Griefers were coerced by Hero. There were many who grew up and just as destiny became Griefers as the term started to spread around and become popular). Griefers were more hostile, varied, and dangerous than criminals. They’d attack fast and almost immediately hit the targeted area with chaos and fire. They disappeared as quickly as they appeared. They were raccoons excited by the sound of danger. This was until Griefer Hunters started to rise by the lead of Latez and his friend Vox. Hunters rose two years after Griefers and Latez was 16 when he first began. Because of the rise of Hunters, many Griefers became more careful. A Griefer by the name of Finn began building a village called Red Stone Valley in the woods. It was a safe place for Griefers. In that area Griefers continued to strive; however anywhere outside Red Stone Valley Griefers slowly began to die off. Whether they were literally killed or they simply stopped griefing because they did not want to be a part of it anymore. Many Griefers dropped their nicknames and started using their real names again. Hero eventually had a son named Adam. The mother was quickly unnamed as she left a year later. Taylor, formally known as Ant, gifted Adam an amulet like his own. The amulet hid their weapon inside. Notch also had a son named Charlie and later adopted a child named Mikey. It seemed that the Griefers were already toning down within a span of 10 years. Red Stone Valley still strived, however. The village Taylor and Hero settled in was called Golden Heights.

GENERATION TWO: Notch takes his two sons, Charlie and Mikey, with him into the nether where he began building the world he wanted as a teenager. Even though Charlie was his biological son, he favored Mikey much more. Both sons worked for their father but Charlie was always on a thin thread. One day, Charlie accidentally dropped a piece of machinery and broke it. Notch had enough. Later that day Charlie ran to Mikey in bruises and begged Mikey to leave and escape with him. Mikey found it hard to say no because of Charlie’s frantic and terrified tone. Upon jumping out of the nether the two boys almost immediately face Finn. Charlie now immediately began to go by Einshine; Shine for short. Finn takes both of them under his wings and to his village which was still striving and alive. Finn trained the two boys to be Griefers. Shine told Finn about Notch and where he came from and Finn decided that Notch was a threat. Finn banded a team together including Shine and Mikey to attack Notch and once they thought he was dead they left back home. One day Mikey wanted to leave the village to the real world. After some convincing, Shine followed him. Eventually the two brothers separated paths and Shine found himself next to Hero. Hero invited Shine in gladly. Thus, Adam and Shine also grew up together until they turned into teenagers. Shine went out on his own one day to grief on his own (this was a very common thing) and on his way he crossed paths with Mikey again. Shine did not go back home that day because he wanted to catch up and be with Mikey. The next day, Hero gets the idea that he isn’t safe anymore. He felt watched and unsafe. Hero visits Taylor and asks him to take care of Adam for him. Taylor and Hero have stayed closed friends even after Taylor left the Griefer life behind; it was no question that Taylor said yes. That night Hero left Golden Heights and the next morning marked the day of Hero’s death by the sword of Latez. Taylor took care of Adam well through his teenager years and even trained Adam basic defense from when he was a Griefer. Adam met a boy named Jason. Jason’s father was a Griefer hunter and Jason then became an ally of Adam and Taylor. He kept them protected the best he could. When Shine tried to come back with Mikey, he saw that Hero was gone. He decided to move on with Mikey and go back to the habits he had before he met Hero. A few months later, Shine ran into a boy named Fredi. With some convincing and arguing against Mikey, Shine managed to let Fredi become a part of their group. Fredi and Shine slowly formed a romantic relationship to which fueled a spark of jealousy in Mikey. A few years later when Adam is still in Taylor’s care, Taylor’s friend Jordan is killed. Jordan was not a Griefer, he was an ally, and his death came as a warning to Taylor. This is when Taylor realized that he had to tell Adam about his father and that they were Griefers. Shine, Fredi, and Mikey revisited Golden Heights to thieve. While the three boys were roaming through trails in the village or the outskirts, Adam caught a glimpse of Shine’s outline. Adam had found Shine again and needless to say they were both excited. Adam was introduced to Mikey and Fredi. Shine wanted to go back to Red Stone Valley (he may not have wanted to admit it- but he missed that place) and asked Adam to come with him. Adam could’ve just left at that moment, but he went back to Taylor anyway and asked him to come along. Taylor would’ve said no but looking to the recent death of Hero and Jordan he took the chance. Jason gave Adam a bracelet before he left so Adam wouldn’t forget him. Taylor told Adam to possess the nickname Sky to keep the tradition Hero started.         Mikey, Shine, Fredi, Taylor, and Adam made their way to Red Stone Valley where they saw Finn for the first time or again. This is where they stay for the rest of their life. When they were back, it was realized by Shine and Mikey that Notch was not dead. Along with Fredi, they went back to the Nether to find him. They killed Notch but it costed Fredi’s right arm. Besides Mikey, they were terribly injured. Fredi used to wear a bracelet on both wrists but after losing his arm he gave Shine the other bracelet. Mikey dragged them back to Red Stone Valley and built Fredi a robotic arm. A year later, Vox has enough of Latez’s hunting and separates himself from Latez. He finds himself at Red Stone Valley and after he was stopped and interrogated (It happens to every newcomer- it’s to keep to village as safe as possible for Griefers) he was let in. The next couple of years Taylor and Finn developed a romantic relationship. One day started as any other until a building was struck and exploded into debris inside Red Stone Valley. This started a brief one day battle of Griefers and Hunters inside the village. There were no winners; both sides lost many casualties and eventually the Hunters simply left. Vox left with Latez, too. As Taylor walked through a plane of deceased Griefers and Hunters he found Finn’s corpse. Shine and Mikey broke out into argument the night of Finn’s death because Mikey proposed that he should become the next leader in a very disrespectful way. The next day Mikey catches Shine weeping to Fredi for support and the jealous in him grew. That same night Adam thought back to Jason and had a hunch; a very stupid hunch. He wanted to leave and find Jason again. After having an intense argument with Taylor that ended in tears, Adam stormed out the village. About a week later Mikey killed Fredi and cleaned up his tracks spectacularly. Mikey went to Shine and convinced him that Fredi left and gave Shine the golden hoe necklace that Fredi had. No one knew what really happened to Fredi and Shine wore both his bracelets now. Taylor eventually became the official leader. Because of Fredi’s death, Shine became emotionally weak and started to follow Mikey and become manipulated by him. Shine lost motivation to grief and became so unlike himself Mikey began calling him Charlie again. Taylor noticed this and tried to talk to Mikey about this, but Mikey lashed and punched Taylor, telling Taylor that he will be above him one day. During all this, Adam was still making his way to Jason. The first night he was out, he was caught by Latez and trapped. If it wasn’t for Vox jumping in and saving Adam, Adam would be dead. Latez wore Hero’s necklace and when Latez left Adam couldn’t help but mention how that necklace was his fathers. Vox now knows Adam is Hero’s son. Adam ran away from Vox. Golden Heights became a village of Hunters but after a few complications Adam found Jason and they left together. Adam and Jason made it to Red Stone Valley and the fact that Vox knew Adam’s identity didn’t cross his mind. A few weeks later Adam got lured away to the outskirts of the village to where he encountered Vox again. This time Vox wasn’t an ally to him and returned to Latez’s side once again. Vox made Adam confess that he was Hero’s son;but what Adam didn’t know what that even if he didn’t confess he would still be met with the same outcome: death. Latez left Adam’s amulet and bracelet at the gates for Taylor. Taylor let Jason keep the amulet and bracelet. Upon seeing that Adam’s death didn’t weaken Taylor’s stance as leader, Mikey decided that he had to become leader himself. One night he attempted to kill Taylor, but with Taylor’s Griefer background, Taylor’s heightened hearing helped him hear Mikey behind him. Before Mikey could swing his sword down, Taylor immediately stopped him. Enraged with this ridiculous stunt along with everything else happening with Shine, Taylor unhesitatingly banished Mikey from Red Stone Valley. Mikey tried to shout at Shine to come with him, but Taylor held Shine’s hand. After Mikey left, Taylor and Shine spent the next few years rebuilding each other. Taylor taught Shine how to do his work and Shine became his apprentice in teaching. This was when it was becoming more obvious that Taylor was seriously aging. Some days Taylor would wake up and be unable to push himself out of bed until 30 minutes to an hour later or some days Taylor would use his sword as something to lean on and/or help him walk. Shine and Taylor grew very close at this time and Shine even regained the motivation to go out and grief again (this time in groups for safety). Mikey had met Latez and since then began working with him. During this time, Jason had slowly separated himself from the village and went on his own again. After those few years, Shine went out to grief with a group of four. He began straying away from the group as it was a usual thing for him to do, but that day wasn’t the same as everyday. Shine almost immediately was surrounded by the infamous three men: Latez, Vox, and Mikey. Shine tried to run but they managed to drag him to a more secluded place. Latez gave Shine a very long, agonizing, and gruesome death. Vox and Mikey looked away the whole time. Latez left Shine’s body at the gates of Red Stone Valley. Taylor couldn’t recognize that it was Shine at first until he saw the bracelets on both his wrists. Taylor was absolutely devastated; but as a leader, he continued to push himself on. He was now under constant stress and sadness. Mikey kept Shine’s necklaces: a golden hoe and a golden shovel. A few weeks later, Latez was suddenly annoyed by Mikey and took the extreme decision to kill him. This is what finally ticked Vox over and he lashed out against Latez. A difficult fight, but Vox won and Latez had died. Vox took the necklaces: Herobrine’s sword, a golden hoe, a golden shovel, and Notch and Mikey’s sword. Vox burned Notch and Mikey’s sword. Vox returned to the village and as he was held by the blades of many Griefers, he put the three necklaces into the hands of Taylor and left in silence. The next year was difficult for Taylor. He pushed himself to his limit and it sadly didn’t end in his favor. He collapsed one fateful day as his heart failed on him. He was given a grave with all four necklaces: The golden hoe, golden shovel, Herobrine’s sword, and Taylor’s amulet. As years passed, the forest began to regrow and reforested over the village as the villagers began to split and go their own ways.          Vox revisited the village only a few days after it was deemed abandoned. His guilt that was tied to Red Stone Valley had him want to stay there for two years. Jason visited again too while Vox was still there. Vox told Jason to leave Adam’s amulet with the others and he did. Jason only stayed partially a day. Vox tried to tell others his story about the Griefers, Red Stone Valley, and Herobrine. No one believed him. Griefers and Hunters that lived to that day did not want to expose themselves or look back to their past to back him up. His stories were myths.

Ethan Dolan x Reader

Summary -  Ethan and you take a little adventure back in Jersey and things turn out better than ever.

A/N - I got bored and wrote this and so you know.. if you have any requests you can send them in because I’m always bored asf. Sorry if this sucks & it’s short.

       You had just woken up and scrambled out of bed at the sound of a huge pan falling in the kitchen and Ethan yelling. “God Damn it!” You heard his voice as you threw on a pair of sweats and a tank. As you ran down the stairs you could hear Gray’s loud laughs and Ethan groaning. “What the hell is happening in here?” You questioned as you emerged from the stairway. “It was E’s turn to cook breakfast and he said he was the better cook. Obviously that isn’t true.” Grayson said between laughs as he got up and walked into the living room. You were currently in Jersey with the boys as Ethan had convinced you to go although you were nervous about meeting his parents.

       You went around the counter top to see E on the ground wiping up what seemed like eggs. “Great going Dolan.” You giggled and leaned down helping him with the mess. “Bet you that they would still taste better than Gray’s!” He screeched and you could hear a loud “Bullshit!” from the living room. You finally got the mess cleaned up and the pan in the sink as Ethan put his strong arms around your waist tightly. “Wanna do something alone today? I know a place..” He whispered and it gave you shivers down your spine.

      Getting E alone was an offer you couldn’t resist as Grayson had always third wheeled - not that you really minded. “Yeah E..” You murmured lightly and he kissed the top of your head walking upstairs. “Put on your bathing suit Y/n..” He said before walking upstairs leaving you to your own devices. You wondered what he was up too but then just shook your head - who cares, it’s alone time with your boyfriend! Sauntering up the stairs into the shared bedroom you grabbed the light purple bathing suit you packed for the trip. Quickly putting it on and applying sunscreen you were ready in no time. 

    “Well doesn’t my baby look good..” Ethan said from the door of the bedroom, wearing the blue swim trunks that definitely fit him well. “Thanks E.. But what about Gray?” You turned as he held towels in his left arm and began strolling to the front door. “Our old friend is coming over and they’re going out to the pizza place down the street. Don’t worry Y/n.” He wrapped his arm around your shoulders as you walked to his rental car. “Alright, where are we going?” You opened the door to the burning hot car and sat down as E went around to the drivers side. “Surprise babe.” He smirked and began the car pulling out of the driveway and turning the AC on. 

   It seemed like you were on the road forever and you shifted in and out of sleep. That is until Ethan’s hand lightly shook you awake and told you that you were finally there. Your eyes adjusted to the light and you saw the god that is your boyfriend getting out of the car and grabbing the towels out of the back seat. You got out of the car and stretched peering around. It seemed as if.. You were in the middle of nowhere!? “Where the fuck are we Ethan?” You turned as he approached you. “We are in a forest Y/n. Use your eyes.” He laughed and pulled your confused body along down a dirt path.

   “I love you and every-” You were stunned as you turned a corner to see a huge waterfall and lake. “Wow..” Ethan embraced you, kissing your neck lightly before picking you up and throwing you straight into the freezing water. You emerged screaming profanities as he laughed and joined you in the water. “Aww baby… You look beautiful!” He continued with his laughing and you smirked pushing his body underwater. He came up choking and then it was your turn to laugh. “He then looked straight in your eyes and pulled you close making you gasp. “Oh Y/n… I love you so much.” He closed the space between you two, passionately kissing you. You let out a soft gasp as he gripped your hair. The kiss felt as if your whole life had been leading up to it. You both reluctantly pulled away and stared into eachothers eyes. “I love you too Etee.” You smirked as he groaned. Let it be said that the whole day with Ethan at the lake was quite the success.
