Howdy Strangers!

I know it’s been awhile since I last updated. Things have.. well.. it’s a lot to say and I don’t have much time in between the girls napping, cooking, cleaning, getting ready for the cows and the rest of the animals to be brought over and just... *sighs*

My Mother is sick, so I’ve come ‘home’ to Georgia to see to her needs and make sure everything is in order if things go south. It’s great to be back in Savannah, I’ve missed it, but I don’t miss the plantation. So, Theron and I have bought our second home so that we can come back and visit whenever we want or whenever he’s working out around here. To be slightly closer to him. The girls are loving it here. I don’t think they really knew what to do with themselves with so much greenery, lol! However, they love it. Especially Ivy and Ari. I think Macie is a little homesick, but Meghan ( @littlegingersnaps) has promised to bring Harrison and Hazel out for a visit. What she doesn’t know is that I’ve been talking her up to an old friend of mine that I think would really suit her! Hehe!

Anyways, I’ve gotta go. My Mother’s calling and Theron isn’t home yet so I have to get the girls up and take them with me to the old plantation. Wish me luck!

Chloe…

Little Chloe here is fairly new. She hasn't been with us for very long, so we don't know a lot about her yet. But she needs a family, and hopefully the right one will show up soon. She seems to be a little sensitive, but is generally a very happy kid. She's easy, doesn't cry a lot, and seems to like everyone. She enjoys being held and talked/sung to. She needs parents with not too hectic lives, and calm surroundings. Other kids, preferly older, are fine, but calm ones. No animals.

hi! i know bootsandleaves blog is no longer active (cute af blog btw), but i was super intrigued by the application form! the last question, the which game style, what do those styles mean, and what makes them different from each other? sorry, im such a noob and i dont know what the different game styles are and which one i might want to adopt for my tumblr

There are no really specific categories but like for example:

EA match, realistic, berry and all styles of sims.

Legacy, storytelling, game play, pictures, building, mumblr are all styles of game play/ blog.

Aka what your sims look like and what you end up posting!

Welcome home, Chloe Pryce!

I’m a complete mess, but little Chloe was adopted on October the 5th! She’s a happy and healthy 1-month old baby now, Tarja and Lexi are still finding out the aspects of her personality little by little, she seems to be sweet and obedient, but also a bit delicate; little Timmy loves playing with her and looking after his new sister, but sometimes all the attention given to her just stresses her out! Nevertheless, she seems to be quite elated with her new family, she’s a smiling baby girl and is peculiarly fond of her pacifier.

Thank you so much @bootsandleaves for presenting Taralynn and Lexus with this cute bundle of sweetness!

We’ve been breaking ground in Georgia for a few months now...

with the renovations on the new farm and getting all the animals transported here and settled. Mostly Duke and Kevin were our biggest concerns. The other animals are fairly new to us, but we acquired them locally from friends and other farmers in the area.

Today, Kevin managed to slink past Theron as he was walking out the side door to go start the BBQ because it’s Colbie’s first night here we figured we’d start her two day vacation off with a bang after a successful milking lesson ( @wanderlust-pixels ). Naturally we launched a full scale mission in finding Kevin the Cat and sent up a silent prayer the our furry 3 legged friend didn’t make his way towards the swamps.

About an hour later, we found him. And it was definitely a sight to remember. I managed to get a few pictures before Theron jumped in and snatched him up. We weren’t sure if he’d try to “play” with the chickens, but better safe than sorry. The girls were beside themselves with joy when their Dad walked in with him. And not to point fingers, but even Colbie got a little teary eyed *winks*

I’ll have more pictures to post later. Right now we’re about to build a fire outside to roast some s’mores!

Branch…

Branch is 9 years old and one of the quieter kids. He is highly thoughtful, and will help out wherever he can. Mostly, he enjoys to play outside and can occupy himself in the woods for hours. He loves everything related to nature, and is fascinated by both animals and plants. He is not the most social child, enjoys being around people but not being the center of attention. He likes to be actively helping out but in the background. Branch needs a family without any boisterous children his age. Very young children is good, as he likes to help out and look after them. A house with a garden in the country would be perfect, the city is definitely a no-go. Pets are okay, but calm ones. He needs parents who have the time to just sit down and teach him new things, especially about everything outside. And also let him do his own thing and give him time to be on his own. A family with a more settled life is important. Not too much travel, less stress and maybe a stay at home parent. He does not like major changes and it will take him a while to settle in somewhere new. Calm and constant is what he needs.

Hello again! I'm the anon who asked you about the outdoor screenshots a couple days ago. I was talking about, for example in this picture: post/177452925525/bootsandleaves-sisters (in the fieldofposies blog) how did you place the twins on the fence? Is there a way to make sims pose while they're out of a lot? Or you need to photoshop them? Thanks again, I hope you're doing great!

Hi Anon! Now I understand what you mean :D So, if you have the pose player addon, it adds an option to objects and sims called “move” and “turn”. So I made the twins walk to that lot, then clicked on them and said “pose” to make them take the pose. Then I used the Move and Turn options to put them into the correct position. It is really annoying as you have to kinda guess the values you put in, but it is the only way I have found to pose sims properly while not on a lot. Hope that helps!
