Better day. Got both booseters. Sore arms. Ni ck stopped by with oizza but I didnt have any sonce was planning on tacos for supper. Don't want to over do it. Started a ratchet list today, got more than a few to make.lots of podcast. Jake reached out about playing games in a week or two and that sounded fun. Probably doing mtg withbjason on Friday m got a whole schedule! Might go tonbed early again tonight we'll see.

For anyone wondering: There was no retcon about Amity being ready. Because I don’t think the tower was originally going to be launched by blowing up a ton of dust. Also the tower itself looks pretty barebones to me. The plan before Cinder attacked was for Ruby’s recorded message to go out and then for Pietro to explain things further after that. Those are pretty short term targets. I think it is pretty obvious that Amity in its current state is not good for long term installation

And I haven’t seen anyone confused but I was wondering in the beginning why Ironwood waited for Amity to launch to inact his plan. You could say Penny communicating with Amity helped Watts but I think there is a simple explanation:

They didn’t know where Penny was. I doubt the swords, even if they all communicate with each other, have a very long range. Watts probably booset that range but I think he needed to know Penny’s location in order for it to work. He maybe even used the CCT Network to deliver the signal. Either way, you could say that Watts created an invisible string to connect the sword with Penny.

And something interesting to concider is his comment about how it is good that Pietro’s trick worked. And this isn’t about how this trick gave him some access to Penny. This is about how Watts had the idea to use a sword to hack Penny. He was inspired by Pietro’s idea. Pietro used the terminal to fake the clearance Amity was expecting. He used the fact that Amity expected this signal against it. Watts did the same: He used the sword to fake a signal that Penny’s system expected. So if Pietro’s plan failed, his plan would likely fail to because of how similar those two things work. But this also means that Watts, who despises Pietro and acts like he is better and more clever than him, stole Pietro’s idea to come up with a way to hack Penny. He probably wouldn’t have had this idea if he didn’t see what Pietro was trying to do.

I've always been inpressed with the sun and how it goes from setting at 4:30 to setting at 9 over the course of 6 months. But today after 26 and three quarters of a years existence i realized that an hour of that is because we booseted it with daylight savings. So in the sun's time he sets at 8 and its only a 3 1/2 hour change rather than 4 1/2. I feel lied to by our sun and a little less proud of him now.
