Local idiot without any knowledge on making a website (without an intuitive builder like Wix or Neocities) tries to make a Shimmie2 booru and fails miserably while running into a bunch of nonsensical errors and asking herself "WTF is Apache?"

A Worms booru I made last year. I thought this way I could gather pictures in one place, particularly fanart and official artwork (renders and concepts). I check artists' pages to make sure they don't prohibit reposts and link back to source whenever I can (otherwise I tag with "unknown_artist)".

I decided to put the theory to the test by uploading this to a booru, based on https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/119905577 by ふぉるつ:

It seems at least 1 person caught on to me, though he (The person seemed male-coded to me, at least?) thought it was a filter (Presumably a Photoshop one?) instead of PaintNET.

But so far the proof-of-concept field test seems to be doing reasonably well.

How to create pixel art the easy way 😎

Take an existing drawing.

Open it in PaintNET.

If viable, set "Canvas Size…" so that the height and width are both divisible by 4.

Go to "Resize…" → "Resampling: Nearest Neighbor" → "By percentage: 25%" → apply

Go to "Resize…" again → "By percentage: 400%" → apply

You now have pixel art in less than 2 minutes. 😎

This also makes supposed pixel art projects far less often needed.

In the cases of many other art pieces, it still looks far too detailed to simply go 25%→400%, and may instead need for example "divisible by 5"→20%→500%, etc.
