Notes

Everybody is all smiles for the group picture, from heroes to villains and everything in-between. Even characters who were otherwise sticks in the mud like Hank genuinely smile for the picture. Villains such as Muntz, de la Cruz, Lotso, Thunderclap and his gang, Syndrome, Evelyn, Randall, Waternoose, Hopper, Skinner, and Ercole, as much of evil psychopaths they were, are seen tenderly and respectfully singing along. Even Sid, who was a massive bully to Hannah, is seen giving her a kind brotherly embrace. Also, most movies’ main cast seem to be cramped together. Even the villains stand near their respective heroes, everyone in a healthy relationship with their families and loved ones are tenderly holding each other close, and many of the larger characters offer their bodies for the smaller ones.

Forky, Heimlich, Dory, Jack-Jack, Mater, WALL-E, and one of the triplets wave at the camera.

Dim and Wee Dingwall give the camera dopey smiles.

The egg-shaped bluebirds and the gawky bird stand perched above the entrance. The bluebirds are happy to have the gawky bird with them, a far cry from how they treated him in their short.

Sulley carries Boo tenderly in his arms. Helen does the same to Jack-Jack, as do Presto with Alec, Carl and Russell with Kevin’s babies, Elinor and Fergus with their triplet sons, Embarrassment with Envy, Massimo with Machiavelli, and Izzy with Sox.

Terri attempts to dance before his other half stops him.

Hank carries Marlin, Dory, and Nemo in a coffee pot.

Voyd and Abby giddily bounce in place, clearly the most excited for the photo.

Linguini carries Remy while Colette holds Django and Emile.

WALL-E and EVE hold the umbrellas from The Blue Umbrella.

HAN-S still can’t stay still, shaking aggressively as the photo is taken.

Kevin and her babies take the time to mimic Carl once again.

Maudie and the Clan Dingwall hunk share a loving look.

Young Macintosh flexes his pecs while giving the camera a cocky smile, the same type of smile given by characters like Terry, Darby, and Clod.

The Witch has her Crow standing perched on her shoulder.

Being stationary volcanoes, Uka and Lele are unable to leave their photo. Thankfully, they have Thunderclap and his gang to hold it so they can be in the group picture.

Nostalgia sticks her head out from behind Embarrassment, clearly hiding from the other emotions.

Riley, Grace, and Bree all carry Knick together while Riley’s parents carry the Miami and Florida knick knacks, Val and the Fire Hawks carry the Egypt, Jamaica, Palm Springs, Israel, and Death Valley knick knacks, and Coach Roberts carries Sunny Atlantis in her fish bowl.

Cindy, Son’s fiancée, winks at the camera as the photo is taken.

Machiavelli gives the camera his standard bored look.

Mei has her red hair, panda ears, and panda tail, continuing to embrace her panda.

Aaron Z gives the camera a thumbs up while Tae Young makes a heart with his hands.

Izzy gives Sox a neck scratch.

Alisha and Kiko’s inclusion also counts due to their backlash following the movie’s release.

There wasn't often a time when Alex thought she had a moment to breathe. As busy as a bee, she often mused, though there wasn't much to do when you were confined to a small campus, and work was caught up for several weeks in advance. Perhaps this lack of motivation was what had heeled boots clicking down empty halls, echoing off of closed doors and joining the murmured ambiance of sheltered students. Weary brown eyes fluttered across windows pelted by rain, following the smallest droplets to see which would win the race to the bottom. Damp hair clung to rounded cheeks, residual drops still clinging to thick lashes; Quackity had made up her mind to walk through sloshing puddles and unforgiving sleet to visit a dear friend - the very same friend that left an ache roughly six inches across her face. Sometimes, she wondered how lonely she really was. That or this godforsaken weather is making everything unbearable.

Returning to her hasty pace, Alex picked at the cuffs of her blouse, muttering incoherent profanities at the sheer audacity of a cloudburst to get in her way (or maybe at herself for allowing it to). The campus was the last place most people desired to be when classes had been canceled indefinitely - a week, she reminded herself - but here she was, making a beeline for thick double doors just shy of the student help desk. Signs for the supply shop pointed inside accompanied by big, bold lettering: Library. Quackity was never a bookworm, though she enjoyed the nuance of creative writing. Poems and love stories had always grabbed her interest, yet the library was never a place she came to of her own accord. Today, however, she was on a mission. The few students in her way shuffled to the side to avoid her confident strides, some smiling and some avoiding eye contact entirely. A pleasant grin and a wave were enough to satisfy their politeness, considering the woman seemed to be in such a rush that she couldn't even greet the librarian perched at their desk.

Quackity rounded a shelf stocked to the brim with new titles, then another past various historical figures, and another with flashy covers beckoning a closer look, never pausing until that old book smell crept through the air. The library had a nook in the far corner, neighboring a computer lab that was hardly occupied and covered in pillows and beanbags. It was a cozy spot, hidden from plain view and decorated with colorful fluffy carpets and motivational posters of cats dangling from trees. Why was she here again? Achilles. Achilles was one of the few people Quackity would go out of her way to see. Xe was usually tucked away in here under a blanket with xyr nose in a tome the size of her arm and pink hair tied back with a thin rubber band. But, just her luck, this was a day when xe was not around.

Quackity crossed her arms, tapping her foot against the ground while her nails dug into her biceps. "Is it too much to ask for someone to talk to?" exasperation leaked into gold's tone, bordering on whiney. Okay, sure, Alex could have talked to anyone she wanted on such a rainy day, but just anyone wasn't what she wanted.

Achilles was what she wanted.

"Where, oh, where -" Quackity circled the couch, lifting a discarded fleece blanket to look under as if Techno would magically appear more for amusement than anything else. If Techno had decided to find a new spot, she'd be royally screwed until the rain let up. Lord knew Achilles never answered a text when xe could be sleeping. The library's quiet atmosphere was almost taunting, mocking her for stubbornly sticking around when it was obvious her goal was not crammed into a corner... until it wasn't.

Until little click click clack click's just barely interrupted her thoughts. A grin spread across gold's lips, turning towards the usually desolate computer lab, "Bingo, papi chulo! I didn't fucking know you were getting into the computer stu...ff."

With one hand opening the door to the darkened space, the other braced against the doorframe; it was obvious that the person sitting behind the computer was, in fact, not Technoblade, but instead the back of some blonde's head. Who the fuck-? Okay, maybe that was too harsh of a first thought, but she was confused, alright? Usually, this space was reserved for loners and blank faces looking to get lost in another world, not someone who could be at home playing games. A beat of silence followed by muted thunder and the computer keyboard came and went until Quackity's charismatic charm filtered through the room.

"Aye, whatcha doin' in here all by yourself? Something you're not supposed to?" a flash of teeth and a friendly laugh had Alex trotting her happy self to her new (forceful) companion. Anything to keep her mind off of the nothing of her other option.

I have to ask - did you have any big inspirations for how you designed the tms!/as! cast? Visually, I mean. I love their designs!

Tysm!! (I try my best ^^) Uhh I mostly used character tropes/stereotypes as the main inspirations for tms/as guys! With exceptions to tms!susie and as!berdly who are based off of beta susie’s design and “guys who look like they’re going for a job interview when they’re just going to english class” respectively. tms!noelle - nerdy girl/bookworm, tms!berdly - edgy mary sue/gary stu ocs, as!susie - geek/nerd and as!noelle - greaser/bad boy and that’s pretty much it!

With his mother finally able to tell him the truth about himself, and faced with the prospect of going to the Academy of Unseen Arts, Nico soon learns that being half-and-half isn’t too common, and the only person to truly understand the confusion of it all had a completely different time of the reveal than he did.

Chase Fenton (The Order OC). All Chase had wanted to do was go to University and get a degree in computer science. He wanted to get a job, make some friends and in general have an ordinary life. The Hide of a wolf had other plans, however, and soon he finds himself mixed up with the Knights of Saint Christopher and trying to make sure dark magic can never take over the world. He currently wears the Hide of Hokkaido, the nimble.

Colton Ledger (The Enemy OC). Colton had only been in England because his family were on holiday. He’d only been at Legoland because his little sister had insisted that they go – not that he was complaining. He never thought he’d be stuck in a strange place when all the adults turned into zombies, nor that he’d have to step up to the plate so as to protect his little sister. As long as he thinks it’s all a videogame, he might not just lose his mind along the way.

Jasper ‘Jasp’ O'Malley (The Book of Dust OC). Gyptian Jasper has known Lyra practically his whole life, but when she went off on her adventure of a lifetime he remained travelling with his family, trying to rebuild everything that they had lost because of Bolvangar. Now, aged twenty, Jasp is determined to get an education, even if that means sneaking into the library after hours and finds himself mixed up in Lyra’s latest adventure.

Byron Prescott (Killing Eve OC). As a child, Byron always knew that he was going to be an assassin. It was what he was trained for, what he prepared for. What he never expected was to get caught by a British Secret Service sting operation, or for them to offer him an ultimatum. Now, working alongside Carolyn and her team, he finds himself in awe of the latest assassin and trying not to look too impressed.

Stuart 'Stu’ Stilinski (Teen Wolf OC). Eldest of the Stilinski Triplets, Stuart does whatever he can to make sure his siblings don’t get into too much trouble. Though, given their aptitude for pranks and mischief that’s easier said than done. Stuart himself is a lover of all technology and enjoys messing around with computers when he gets a spare second. He has always understood technology better than people.

Fitzgerald 'Fitz’ Underhill (Pennyworth OC). Welsh born Fitz joined the S.A.S. with no friends and no family to speak of, but he left it with brothers and a new start waiting for him in London. He works alongside Alfred as a bouncer, and soon moves into his friend’s security firm as he begins to gain traction with this new endeavour. Despite his past, he is known to use Aikido where possible.

Adrien Xavier (Runaways OC). Illegitimate son of Charles Xavier, Adrien has never actually met his father, and doesn’t really intend to. He is best friends with Chase, they always worked well on the lacrosse field together, and runs away after getting caught up in the mess with his friends. He has some of his father’s psychic abilities, just doesn’t really know how to control these.

Lucien Yuris (Divergent OC). Older brother to Kyle, Lucien grieved his brother following his death, and the pain has been like a shadow on him ever since. Unable to take being in Erudite – and finding out during his test that he has an aptitude for Dauntless – Lucien becomes a faction transfer. He quickly finds a place for himself with Tris and co., and is determined to prove that he’s not the bookworm others accuse him of being.

Ping Pong The Animation - believe the hype. incredible.

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 - honestly if this show sticks the landing, it may become my favorite anime of all time. it's just the best week to week viewing experience. my jaw lives on the floor. and i spend at least half an hour after every episode debating ethics with my friends. amazing.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (6 anime)

samurai champloo - music! animation! episodic storytelling! STYLE! this anime just has style

ranking of kings - most loveable anime characters of all time. classic fantasy setting. stripped down for honest and charming character storytelling. hilling is best girl of the season FIGHT ME

Golden Kamuy - slow start and then POW. perfect shonen story in an atypical setting. juggles a large cast of characters with competing motivations expertly so you can never predict the twists and turns. criminally underrated

Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song - managed to make me - a known hater of ai/robot stories - glue my eyes to the screen for 3 days. tons of heart and fun storytelling.

Odd Taxi - this is a novel come to life. some of the best dialogue in anime history.

Kotaro Lives Alone - cutest anime child of all time must be protected

princess jellyfish - kind of the pinnacle of a generation of shoujo for me

yona of the dawn - tbh i can't remember if i watched this last year or in 2022 but anyway it's great. gripping stuff. the lack of season 2 is criminal and i'm gonna have to collect the manga smh

kaguya-sama love is war season 3 - continued great direction, gimmicks, and jokes

ya boy, kongming! - the shock of the season. somehow this is actually funny and the rap parts are genuinely powerful. i didn't know anime could do music this well tbh

the devil is a part-timer season 1 - had fun watching but nothing sticks with me

parasyte - truly ambitious, gripping sci-fi that doesn't spoonfeed you answers but examines a dilemma from every angle

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4 anime)

banana fish - high stakes international thriller with a diverse cast and a gary stu at the helm

darling in the franxx - the not quite as good cousin of evangelion, interested in pubescent sexuality in big robots. major points for bonkers ambition. i was stunned with what it was trying to do.

spy x family - that little girl really is cute

space patrol luluco - studio trigger on speed with 7 min episodes

the tatami galaxy - smart, stylish, creative use of the medium.

made in abyss season 1 - a classic hero's journey to confront the unknown and come back forever changed

btooom! - prisoners' dilemma with explosions

demon slayer season 2 - i liked that guy with a bunch of wives and the bad guys

black lagoon - peak 90s anime

moriarty the patriot season 1 - no one told me moriarty is a righteous socialist antihero. it's fun.

theatre of darkness: yamishibai - horror vignettes in 5 minutes for halloween

ascendance of a bookworm season 1 - slow, dull isekai about learning to make a book (not write a book. make a book) until it suddenly gets political in the last couple episodes. can't decide if it's worth continuing tbh

my dress up darling - i watched the first two episodes in a dark room with strangers and it felt like a soft core porn showing but for kids ??

mushoku tensei: jobless reincarnation season 1 - damn this for having good animation and actually decent pacing because this was gross and i wanted to give it a garbage rating

horimiya - cute romance but i forgot everything about it

no game no life season 1 - confused that this was such a phenomenon when it came out. it's fine i guess.

that time i got reincarnated as a slime season 1 - when given a name for the 1st time, male goblins evolve into 'hobgoblins' and female goblins evolve into...wait for it...'goblinas.' i died laughing + that's this show's legacy to me

danganropa - edgy and strange and not altogether convincing but it has its moments

my teen romantic comedy snafu - 🤷

yk how I said I had zero ideas I lied…….. say hello to katherine “kay” schneider. younger sister of vince schneider and therefore niece of stu macher 🤧

since she’s born in 2002 after stus ghostface era, she didn’t experience any of her uncles bloody legacy

but she does grow up with all this talk surrounding her family and their history and it’s a past she can’t seem to shake

she isn’t a part of taras friend group in highschool but was acquainted with liv when she dated her older brother and came by the house

her brothers death does affect her greatly and she draws into herself after it, growing a lot more secluded. it’s what begins her borderline obsessive research about all the ghost faces of the past

she’s a quieter bookworm type, coding whiz, and ends up at blackmore uni on a full scholarship where she reconnects with her highschool alumni

during the events of s6 shes under heavy suspicion bc she’s curated a database of sorts about everything she had researched about all the past ghostfaces and their information

it didn’t help that she was known for having an eye on ethan and made it seem even more likely that they were working together

you ever see a fc and think, they'd be perfect for this franchise???

like emilia jones just feels like she'd fit into the scream universe. i have zero thoughts for a scream oc but she just screams (haha!!!!) s5/s6 oc vibes

i just finished Becoming Jane and thoroughly enjoyed it. as of now, i am watching Anne With an E.
