a lot of my x-men opinions rn ive just been kind of holding my breath on because it's very dependent on whats After fall of x. because regardless of what the status quo is afterwards i think there are certain steps forward made over the course of krakoa even if for every step forward there was a stumble in another direction and i would still like to see an effort made to keep stepping forward and not let fumbles convince higher ups at marvel and the x-office to go back on that. and to judge a bookline by it's almost entirely white male creative team it doesn't look promising honestly. like i don't know i'm ok with resurrections being gone and danger to mutants being rampant in story again. i don't mind that it's part of it's DNA but i'm honestly just worried about regression in terms of creative diversity because even with all we got for krakoa we still had such massive misfires that need to be rectified

okay real shit right now though, how do you write so good? like seriously, tips on being descriptive? your style just really puts you into the fic and i need to know how. or just any tips you have in general for writing? please and thank you 🤎🤎🤎

hmmm honestly some tips i can give you on being more descriptive is to simply expand your vocabulary. like i mean using various of synonyms, strengthen a few words that you think are too bland. i like to be overly dramatic sometimes and attempt to describe everything that’s happening. (the air — hot or cold, the current positions, who’s speaking, how they sound when they moan, what their breathing patterns sound like, etc)

you wanna make sure you’re describing both reader and your character(s). don’t just focus on a single person.

extra writing tips i have in general, mm i would maybe say to write at your own pace, outline your fics before hand, and read your work aloud to help spot error mistakes !! 🧖
