Harker - The Book of Solomon Part II by Roger Gibson, Vince Danks & Andrew Richmond.

Like the majority of Indie publishers here in the UK at the moment, this was financed through a Kickstarter campaign.

Part 1 originally came out way back in 2012 from Titan Comics in hardback (and Time Bomb recently published a new edition in softback) so this concluding chapter has been a long time coming!

“i’m afraid of you.”

the statement caught you off guard, causing you to look up at him. your eyes scanned his face in confusion. “afraid of me?”

your task at hand became forgotten as you watched him make his was over. once he was in front of you, you let him take your face in his hands, his thumbs gently rubbing against your cheek.

your eyes widened at the sudden proximity and you froze. the whole mood shifted. was it getting hot in here? why did your body feel like it was on fire?

could he hear how hardly your heart pounded in your chest?

“yes, i’m afraid”, his tone was low.

“w…why?”

your voice came in just a whisper. that was all you could mange out, just barely clear enough for even you to catch.

“i’m afraid of what comes over me when i’m around you. i’m afraid of how tempting it is to ignore my own rationale, of how many excuses i can invent just to become closer to you”, he explained. not once did his gaze waved from yours.

slowly, he inched his face towards yours, stopping just enough for his scent to surround you. oh his scent. he always smelled divine. it made you absolutely dizzy.

“i-i see.” you breathed out.

“i’m afraid of how much i want” his lips brushed against yours. you could feel him smile against you as your breath hitched. “of what…i want.”

theo solomon has the range because he voiced 1) wyll ravengard 2) the scared boar in act 1 and 3) bernard the robot in the arcane tower. which are all three completely different sounding characters, and also different from his normal speaking voice. that's an actor right there

I gotta be honest with you, I keep rereading the demo so I can pick every option cause I’m so desperate for a content 😂 it’s so good and it’s got me frothing at the mouth for book 4!

But I do have a question. If we choose not to tell Tina or Verda about the supernatural does that mean that’s it and they’ll never find out? Or will they learn eventually?

I'm so glad you're enjoying it! I can't wait to get Chapter Two uploaded for the demo! There's a lot of juicy stuff in it that I want to scream about to people when you finally all know, hehe! :D

If you don't tell either of them, then they'll never find out. That's a route I wanted to put in there for people who want a story branch to more sort of…chill a bit from all the supernatural for their MC, lol!

So like their life is all supernatural now, but if your MC needs it, then they can still have some of their old 'normal' life left with Tina and Verda to fall onto when needed.

his arms wrapped securely around you from behind, hugging your body closely to his. "I will break everything if it brings you pleasure."

his lips trailed soft, sweet kisses from your cheek and down your neck. Your head tilted to the side to give more for his actions. "If it brings you happiness..."

"A man?"

"Necks can snap as easy as twigs with the right force," he responds without any hesitation. Your heart skipped. You turned in his hold, your body remaining flushed against his.

your hand came up to caress his cheek, emitting a content sigh from your lover as he leaned into the gesture. "A kingdom?"

your tone remained soft, worried if you spoke too loud it would ruin the moment you share. the moonlight provided the most beautiful glow upon his skin. there was a glimmer in his eye. one that reminded you of stars you've wished upon in your youth.

"Buildings will crumble in your name."

you watched his eyes flutter when you leaned into him, your lips brushing just against his. the touch was feather like.

he wanted more.

"A realm?"

"I am your blade, my angel," he rasped. one of his hands came to rest on your neck, gently playing with your hair at the base. the other slowly slid under your top to rest on your lower back.

your skin was soft to the touch. so warm. it was beginning to drive him mad. he wanted you dearly. body. mind. soul.

he wanted every little piece of you, for you were his and his alone to love and cherish.

"I beg you, weild me as you see fit."
