I've never been a big fnaf fan but I had friends who were really into it, so I know a bit about it. I like it casually! I've played an FNF Mod where he was in it though, it was kinda funny! I love froyo too but I never get it... there's a good one in the town next to me that I love going to when I get the chance though, and near my school is a pretty good gelato and ice cream place. ♡ A/N : I love writing fluff as much as I love writing smut, and I’ve seen how people want more fluff things so here’s something!!

Chris loved streaming for his and his brother's fans, either that being by himself or with Matt and Nick. Tonight, he was streaming on twitch with matt. With Nick being out of town for the whole month, it gave them something to do that they were absolutely engrossed with. Ranging from DTI, Fortnite, or just some random Roblox game someone in their chat suggested.

Chris and Matt had been at it for a few hours now, the lights from his monitor burning into his retinas just a little bit with how long his eyes have been locked onto his screen for. You're almost a hundred percent sure the same thing was happening to Matt right now, only getting up occasionally to use the bathroom and to get food. But Chris, he didn't even really move much to do either.

Chris kept the chat entertained with his humor and stupidly funny jokes, with Matt occasionally yelling at how stupid he was, just making it all that more enjoyable. The sound of rapid clicks and excited commentary filled his room, accompanied by the glowing colors of his LED lights.

The streams chat was buzzing, with messages flying by, reacting to his and matt's every move. So many popping up to suggest games or certain music to play while they enjoyed their shared gaming time.

Just out of frame, you were curled up on the edge of the couch. You preferred to stay out of the spotlight, having so much attention on you even through a screen made your body light up with nerves. But you enjoyed being near Chris when him and Matt streamed, content to watch from the sidelines as you read a book or just scrolled through your phone while he played.

The ambient hum of his voice and the clattering of the keyboard felt like home to you, it was comforting, even if you weren't the one on the screen.

You glanced up from time to time, just to check on how he was doing. But when you looked up from your phone, noticing he'd been at it for hours without a break and you could see the faint signs of tiredness in his eyes — his focus was still sharp, but there was a subtle hint of fatigue.

Knowing how much he poured into his streams with Matt, you decided to do something small to help him recharge. You slipped off the couch and padded quietly out his bedroom door, climbing the stairs to reach the kitchen. Once you reached the area, you started putting together a little snack for him: his favorite fruit, some chips, and of course a cold Pepsi to refresh him. You carefully arranged everything on a small tray, your hands moving with a gentle precision.

Once you finished arranging everything on the tray, you picked it up carefully, your feet padding back toward the stairway. You hesitated for a moment though, standing on the top step wondering if you should take it to him now or wait until he took a break on his own. The idea of stepping into view made your heart race a little, but you knew he probably wouldn't be moving on his own anytime soon, so you quickly shook the thought from your mind and descended down the stairs.

You pushed his bedroom door open slowly, careful not to knock the tray over while striding in. You approached his gaming chair, the tray balanced carefully in your hands. As Chris finished a particularly challenging segment in the game him and Matt were focused on, he caught sight of you in his peripheral vision. His eyes lit up, a warm smile spreading across his face.

"Yo Matt pause the game really quick." Chris says into his microphone, pausing the game on his end as well as he pulled the heat set off his head. His hands moved from the keyboard, gripping the edge of his desk as he swiveling his chair slightly to face you. "What's this baby? You takin' care of me?" He said, a grin now spreading across his face as he looked up at you from his seat.

Your faced heated, a small smile tugging at your lips. You placed the tray on the edge of his desk and took a step back, already starting to retreat. But before you could move too far, Chris reached out and caught your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Hold on." He murmured, his eyes never leaving yours.

Turning back to the camera, he gestured toward the tray with his free hand, addressing his chat with a proud grin. "Guys, my lovely girlfriend just brought me snacks," He announced. "How sweet is that?" He said, chuckling softly.

Your eyes flickered to the chat on his screen, reading as the chat started spamming with comments about wanting to see you and how sweet you are to Chris. Your face heated even more, trying to tug your hand out of Chris' grip. He glanced back at you, his expression softening as he saw your own expression, and pulled you closer.

You began to open your mouth to protest as he pulled you closer but was quick to close your mouth as he lifted your hand to his lips and pressed a quick, sweet kiss to your knuckles, the gesture being caught by the camera. He pulled his lips back, staring up at you as he spoke to the audience. "She's a little camera-shy," He said with a smile, "but she's always taking care of me behind the scenes. You guys don't know how much she does."

Your gaze adverted his own at his words, even if he wasn't saying them to you, you knew he appreciated what you were doing for him. You weren't used to the attention, even if it was indirect. Normally you and Chris kept your relationship on the down low, but it was more for comfortability because of how nervous you got with cameras and attention. Your heart fluttered at his words, nonetheless, giving him a shy nod before retreating back to your spot on the couch

As Chris and Matt resumed their game, he would occasionally glance over at you. The chat continued to bring you up in conversation, with people asking for more details about your relationship. While Chris didn't share too much — always wanting to respect your privacy — he made it clear how much you meant to him, dropping little hints and anecdotes about the little things you would do for him.

After the stream had wrapped up, Chris shut down his pc and immediately turned his attention to you. He crossed the room and sat down beside you on the couch, wrapping his arms around you in a warm embrace. "You didn't have to do that, you know." He murmured, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. You leaned into his touch, arms wrapping back around him in return as you shuffled yourself to snuggle deeper into his chest.

"I know, but you were streaming for a while babe. You looked drained, so I wanted to help." You said softly, your hand coming up to card through his locks. Chris pulled you closer, his fingers now brushing through your hair in return. "You're the best." He whispered, "And don't worry about being on camera. I love having you nearby just like this. It's perfect." He said, now tugging you softly onto his lap.

You smiled, legs landing on either side of his thighs as you shifted yourself to get comfortable. Leaning your head down to his neck, you pressed a few soft kisses before laying your head on his shoulder, snuggling into him more. "Maybe one day I'll show my face on stream, but for now, I like to just watch because being near you is enough for me too." You whispered against his neck.

He chuckled softly, one of his hands resting on your hip as the other came up to rub soft patterns across your back. "Don't worry about it baby — you do what you wanna do, I ain't gonna force ya." He said, pressing a kiss to the side of your head.

That's how you both sat, bathing in each other's presences until you started falling asleep against him. His body shifting as he stood up and carried you to bed for the night.

I want the void to hear my takes on Star Trek: Coda

we jump to an alternate reality where Captain Riker is riding the Ent D to do the start of First Contact. He gets some cool torpedos he got from an alt Picard (presumably ours) and fires them turning the cube into dust. As the borg try to do the whole time travel thing ghost and snakes come out of the portal and tear it apart before attacking the Ent. They’re boarded and lots are killed. Riker fires the last of the torpedos hoping thats enough to close it. A young old wesley is sneaking around aboard and reflects that he cant save them as he thinks on what to do, he decides to go home and the D is destroyed as well as its reality from the weird portal.Our Riker wakes up and is like ‘fucked up dream.’ I like that they’re watching realities in their dreams, thats fun. hope they do more with it.

They examine Wes corpse and everyone is struggling, As you would be if your kid died on the beach as an old man. They’re looking at his crap in engineering when it starts beeping so they go down and it responds to Picard and Crusher by summoning Younger Old Wesley. He tells them the one whose dead might be his future or an alternate reality or something and gets the thing working. he calls it the Omnicron and its like a souped up tricorder. He shows Picard an Iconian planet thats had its spires retrofited by the enemy and they detect radiation that implies those aliens who went back in time to california where Data got decapitated are behind.

Captain Dax goes to a fun space anomaly last seen in the first DTI BOOK (its a big ass tardis style corridor that connects the same place to itself every several 100K years, its neat. That does the whole nightmare collapse shit. But because the Aventine is a certified banger of a starship they managed to hold the time ghosts and snakes back and get out of range as everything around the time hole collapses. They detect a transmission for the planet picards heading to and hop along.

Wes is upset about his dead self and uncomfortable but hides it from his lil baby brother. Aww. A vulcan engineer named Taurik gets a brief aside as he looked at a future computer on a prior adventure and has knowledge, so the DTI are like ‘help Picard and try to make connections with you knowledge’ and hes like sick. They find something fucky going on down on the planet and beam down. Wes time shifts them enough to see a prototype version of the spire but the Devidians notice them and most of the away team is killed before they beam out. Enterprise gets hit, but they hold them off long enough to blow the site up with cool torpedos and Wes incapacitates one of the ghosts with his other selfs future gun. Rene gets hit by some time shockwave shit or whatever and is aged to 19 from 6. Ooph, thats some heavy shit there kid. Im sure they can beam him young again like they did with Picard that one time.

Some fun stuff in this section but the fact that Future Wes programmed his time computer to only give them information at the right moment or whatever is a lil convoluted. I get its time travel, but you’d think you’d blast ‘heres all the relevant shit I know’ first if you were dealing with reality killing Time Ghosts.

hmm.. honestly, it depends on the kind of books you like. i really love stephen king and danmei but i know that isnt for everyone. theres a few books that are my actual favorites, one of them being the love and lies of rukhsana ali by sabina khan, all in pieces by suzanne young, mirrored by alex flinn, the siren by kiera cass (#1 recommended, the sound recording especially is perfect, it makes me cry).. those are all romance books, but if you prefer other genres im sure ill have a few suggestions for those too!!

7 Reasons Why I Quit

(only for a little bit)

It has, alas, been another few weeks since I posted. I have an excuse for my unpunctuality: I've been spinning non-stop like a top. The conclusion of the last Zoomester and the start of summer are to blame. I have seven partners in crime.

Culprit 1: Puppetry Workshop

Towards the end of the year, DTI (Design Thinking Initiative), in collaboration with the Theatre Shop, hosted an in-person puppetry workshop where a small number of people could participate per covid protocols. In-person events were few and far between this semester, so of course I rushed to sign up. The workshop ran for about 2 hours on three consecutive Mondays. We met in the theatre shop inside Mendenhall Center for Performing Arts.  

The first day we made shadow puppets (and mine was a bee); the second day we made hand puppets (mine was a ... cyclop ghost king?); the third day we made marionette or string puppets (I attempted to make a teru teru bōzu, but everyone thought it a ghost). I had a lot of fun trying different fabrics, re-learning how to use a bandsaw, and magically joining things together with the help of a hot glue gun. (Side note: Polymer chemistry is the magician behind the scene, and I will be learning more about the science of hot glue guns in the polymer class I am taking next semester!) The workshop was surprisingly not as popular as I anticipated, maybe because people were busy as the semester came to a close. The good news is that DTI will be running the workshop again in the fall so more people will get to participate.

Culprit 2: Spring Piano Recital

I did not expect to attend a live concert this semester, but I was invited to the spring piano recital as a "special guest." It is a habit I developed while working as a concert crew at Sage, to sit outside the Sweeney Concert Hall and listen to the rehearsals after I finished setting up the stage. That day I was going to do homework outside the concert hall while waiting for my performing friend to finish. The piano instructor spotted me and asked me if I wanted to join. Disbelieving in my good luck, I accepted the invite. About ten students were scattered in the almost empty concert that felt sad and lonesome, but soon music filled the air. I thoroughly enjoyed every performance. Lots of Chopin were played, but my favorite one is Rhapsody in Blue which just entered the public domain this year. All pieces are about or more than a century old, which is not a surprise, but refreshingly, there is a piece by a female composer, Amy Beach, whose granduncle co-founded Bates College. Culprit 3: End of Classes

The end of classes was epitomized by professor-resembling pixels on our computer screens bidding us goodbye. Usually professors would plan something fun for the last day of classes, virtually as well. 

I remember last semester my Multivariable Calculus professor changed his virtual background to a wall of donuts, explaining that during the pre-pandemic times he used to bring a box of donuts for students on the last day. This semester in Mathematical Methods for Physicists and Engineers, we explored the applications of Fourier Transform by looking at the velocity of a star and detecting the number of planets around it. Our last Circuit Theory lab was in person, where we got to listen to a song/piece of our own choice through the low pass filter and the high pass filter pictured below. The professor handed out prizes (cool items she accumulated in conferences) to students to reward them for their participation in the pre-class trivia games. I received a mini glow moon. In addition, our circuits professor left out end-of-class fun packs with origami papers and stickers outside her office. Our last Organic Chemistry lab was also in-person, where each lab group presented their experiments and findings (through a projector rather than Zoom screen share!) My presentation group decided to dress up for this special occasion after a long year of virtual school. Lastly, for Organic Chemistry, we played organic chemistry jeopardy in our last lecture.

With all the professors wishing you a happy summer, you start daydreaming about the sunny beach and breezy wind. Oh wait, you still have final exams to take. All in three days!

Culprit 4: Final Examinations

This semester we had a three-day final exam study period (or reading period) when professors are not allowed to assign any homework or set deadlines. Right after the reading period is our final exams. Smith is known for its flexibility when it comes to exams thanks to its Honor Code system. Many exams are self-scheduled. Some are open-notes, and some are untimed. In a normal year, students go to Seelye Hall to print out and take the exams when they feel prepared. 

For the classes I am taking this semester, I had three hours to take my Math Methods final, a whole day to take the Circuits Theory final, and the entire finals period to take my Organic Chemistry I final. Besides the exams, I had several other writing assignments to turn in. I was very fatigued at the end of the semester, so even though I only had three exams, I struggled to muster up mental energy to study. To make things worse, I got my second Pfizer shot during the reading period and had a pretty bad reaction. As a result, I asked the class dean to give me an extension on an exam, which was generously granted, and I was gratefully less overwhelmed.

Culprit 5: SmithCycle

The finals are now over, but my vacation didn't start yet. I am staying on campus for a few extra weeks to work for SmithCycle. SmithCycle is a program that collects, sorts and redistributes gently used dorm items students donate in the move-out process at the end of each school year. It gives purpose to items of reusable value and creates a more sustainable campus. In the past week, we have collected hundreds of bags (no exaggerations!) of items. Besides clothes, books, school and dorm supplies, some of the unexpected items include coffee makers, brand new water filters, and a monitor. One of my coworkers commented that first-years shouldn't have to shop clothes hangers again while they were going through three boxes of donated hangers.

The winter clothes we collected are going to the International Students and Scholars Office. They have an event called Winter Clothes Closet every fall where international students "shop" for free to help them get accustomed to the New England weather. School supplies will be moved into the Common Goods Resources Center which CEEDS hopes to launch in Fall 2021 (very exciting!). I cannot plug SmithCycle enough. If you are an incoming first-year, visit the Common Goods Resources center before you head to Target! 

I have always been interested in sustainability and renewable energy and want to get more involved. When I saw the SmithCycle worker position posted on Workday, I immediately applied. Every SmithCycle worker's job varies. I am mainly responsible for washing and drying the linens and blankets. When waiting for the washer and dryer, I help with unloading the van that circulates between houses to pick up bags of donations. I also help with sorting. Pictured below is the inside of Scott Gym where all the items are currently stored.

Culprit 7: Summer Housing

As college transitions into summer, students who are staying on campus for some part of the summer had to move out of their spring housing assignment into their summer housing. I moved from Chapin, the house in central campus, to Capen, which is on the periphery of Smith. I know Chapin and Capen sound alike, but they are very different houses location-wise and personality-wise! To make up for its distance to the academic buildings, Capen House has its own garden, Capen Garden. The garden a gorgeous place many current Smithies are missing out on. There is a mini fountain, hedges, a garden temple, a plant arch, and a bizarre owl statue. Look at the last picture of the garden in this blog, and you will agree with me that the Paradise Pond is overrated.  

Built in 1825 and acquired by Smith in 1921, Capen House is named after Bessie Capen, the second woman to be admitted to MIT. She taught chemistry at Smith College. Fun fact: Bessie Capen was once the associate principal of the Mary A. Burnham School for Girls, now Stoneleigh-Burham School; I went there for horseback riding lessons during my first year at Smith. Small world, right?
