✨Let’s celebrate the ones…

The ones who are real life super hero’s. The ones who are up all hours of the night with their eyelids taped open. The ones who miss what seems like very single event, celebration, and holiday. The ones who walk in to every situation with bravery. The ones who have to find laughter in a dark world. The ones who have to deliver the bad news. The ones who eat gas station food, cold food, and no food. The ones that tried to throw in the towel but the schedule is too dang good. The ones that broke their backs lifting manual cots. The ones that became family because you spend more time with them than your own. The ones that answer “what’s the worst thing you’ve seen”. The ones that take it home with them. The ones that pick up extra shifts, take out, more jobs, and 2am fall patients. The ones that want to give a crash course on “what to do when an emergency vehicle is behind you with their lights and sirens on”. The ones that have been doing this for 20 years and “that’s not how we do it”. The ones that checks their child’s car seat twice. The ones that calls their family that lives on the road that was just paged out. The ones that “only” carries PTSD from tones dropping at 3am. The ones that can make light of any situation. The ones that know the thousand yard stare. The ones that have cried with, laughed with, and loved strangers. The ones that are called on to help. The ones that can sleep with their eyes open. The ones that check, wash, and drive trucks like you stole them. The ones that lift more than anyone thinks you can. The ones that always packs an extra uniform. The ones that wish for a white cloud. The ones that loved trauma until trauma became them. The ones that cant walk into a place without seeing someone they have helped. The ones that walk into more front doors than their own. The ones that say they don’t know when asked about the bad run they just made. The ones that thought EMS stood for “Earn Money Sleeping” but realized those days are over. The ones that work 24, 36, and 48 hour shifts.

Here is to the ones that go unnoticed. The ones that do more than just “drive an ambulance”.

It was always strange whenever Aiden's parents were home. Every time they were in a room together it was filled with uncomfortable silence because in the end of the day they were nothing but strangers. Even though they both saw him grow up, have photos of him around the house, were the first people to hold him. They were nothing but strangers. They don't even know anything about eachother.

Oh my gosh I almost forgot so at my OTHER job (its a restaurant) we had a guy place an order and at the part where it says to describe your vehicle (so we can take your food out to you) it said red ambulance

Me and all my work friends were laughing but lo and behold a whole ahh ambulance pulls into our parking lot to get food

I just imagine Hyrule and Mo having a particularly bad night and they just go get food afterward even in the ambulance

Given that I had probably had to cancel everything including the flight ticket to Finland due to my grandmother's passing I am actually happy I didnt go to JO's nordic tour.

That doesnt mean I feel sad for missing out. At the same time my energy level has been so low when I actually had time so I havent caught any of the live streams. In a sense i then feel like I have missed out not once but twice.

In short I only know the tip of the iceberg of everything that just went down which ig is both a blessing (more to enjoy when I arrive home) and a curse (being out of the loop).

Yeah idk what I want to say here except that maybe sorry for not being up to date and excited and for not making fanart as quickly or as excitingly as last Reunion. I hope you will bear with me because the excitement will come. I just need to be home and have time to adjust back to my version of normalcy before I can allow myself to bathe in all the emotions that was tavastia 2.0 and the rest of the Finland leg of the nordic tour
