A remnant from the early versions of the game, where it would've had the series-staple eight bosses instead of its unusual count of six

Has received a cult following as the "Phantom Robot Master" which even Inafune himself has deemed untouchable when Powered Up - the MM1 remake with two extra bosses - opened up the door for Bond Man to return

Crab Cake propaganda:

Technically more of a species than a character, crab cakes were used in promotional material like browser games and Instagram posts before the release of the film, but were nowhere to be found within the final product. A living piece of cake appeared in a teaser trailer, but that looks like a completely different animal despite having the same color scheme. It's so beautiful. It was one of my favorites when I fixated on this movie's specbio as a teenager.

The eight Mega Man-defeating Robot Masters that Wily snatched and reprogramed in Mega Man Chaos.

UWN-001 Sir Guts

Master Weapon: Guts Hammer An alternate version of Guts Man where the world is a stereotypical swords and sorcery setting while still having the same tech level as the base universe. Things played out the usual way in his universe, with him and the other five industrial Master Knights getting stolen by the villainous Lord Wily and then being defeated and restored to normal, and then years later there was a friendly tournament between Master Knights that Sir Guts managed to win, scoring an extremely close victory over Sir Rock in the final round. Guts is an honorable and chivalrous warrior, and getting stolen and bound to serve Wily again really chafes at him.

UWN-002 Grid Man

Master Weapon: Long Bomb A sports star who got stolen and reprogrammed by his own version of Wily and got in a lucky shot during his fight with Mega Man. He didn't even have to be reprogramed after getting snatched since he was already being forced to be loyal to Wily and one Wily's as good as any.

UWN-003 Origami Man

Master Weapon: 1000-Fold Arms In the Base Universe, Origami Man was built by Wily on a whim after several all-nighters and proved to be completely useless, only capable of folding himself into...well, Origami, as well as being made almost entirely out of actual ordinary origami paper. In another universe, he was instead made from layers upon layers of highly flexible -but also highly durable- paper-like sheets of metal, and given an actually useful version of his self-folding abilities. This version is a deadly assassin who managed to kill his Mega Man before the boy even realized he existed.

Because Paper beats Rock.

UWN-004 Ulti-MET

Master Weapon: Rivet Gatling Once a little Modular Excavation Tool with big dreams, now a walking arsenal set on mowing down all who oppose their dark master. Even if this is a different version of him.

UWN-005 Bond Man

Master Weapon: Super Glue A scrapped concept for the original set of industrial Robot Masters. Given the context of his arrival, it was probably for the best.

UWN-006 Disco Woman

Master Weapon: Mirror Ball Like Grid Man, a stolen Robot Master who got lucky. In her case she used to own and operate her own night club.

UWN-007 Steam Man

Master Weapon: Steam Jet Not sure if he counts as a fire robot, a water robot or a wind robot...

UWN-008 Void Man

Master Weapon: Event Horizon An extraterrestrial robot who's somehow powered by and in full control of a spacial anomaly that almost-but-not-really acts like a black hole.
