“Is it weird, Cú, to have a bunch of different you’s running around?” They’d been wondering that for a while, mostly because Ritsu feels like they’d be pretty decidedly weirded out if they were in a situation where they could hang out with both their younger and older selves. And a weird alternate self made of spines. Ritsu can always couch it in saying that they’ll ask in order to better organize teams by Servants’ preferences, but... mostly they’re just curious.

Tourmaline: Are they the understanding sort or do they have trouble connecting with others?

Hmm…honestly this kind of depends to an extent. I think in the past when he was a young pharaoh, he was terrible at understanding others. Ozymandias was primarily focused on himself, his thoughts, and his feelings. This lack of understanding for people might have just come from him being so ‘isolated’ in a sense in comparison to most, and due to him being treated as a god whose very being is above any and everyone. He had a tendency to make assumptions as a result. The fact that he could not understand his brother’s feelings when Moses appeared before him shows this well enough. It was not until later that he truly understood, although in Fate, it seems he still harbors some feelings about the death of his son. 

It’s not enough where he would act aggressive towards Moses should they meet and he does still love him since he says Moses is his best friend. As a Servant with an ‘older mindset’, he has wisdom he did not have in his youth, and so is a bit more understanding. He has moments where he is very accurate about reading people’s feelings like he did with Nitocris and Cleopatra, and then he has times where there is a bit of a disconnect due to his position and a misunderstanding can take place. When that happens, however, he does feel awkward and foolish.
