Babes! New(ish) Show Alert

I KNOW Im late on hopping on this wave, but Bob Hearts Abishola is hands down one of the best TV shows i’ve binged in a while. Their relationship is very out there, and honestly how either one of them stuck through since their respected families are terrifying is beyonddddd me. Now, I only watched the first three seasons on HBO Max, and Im going to start season 4 later this week. I am going to make it clear…I am not African, so some of the issues that are brought up in the show I definitely disagree. Im kinda thankful that Gloria is one of Abishola and Kemi’s friends because she kinda brings them off of their high horse sometimes. I know the show has been coming up on tiktok and I see the comments that say they dont like Abishola (honestly it should be Dottie’s racist ass bffr), but everyone is raised differently and there is inherited biases that clearly didnt go away once abishola moved to detroit and she’s trying to instill it in her son(not working😂). Overall it is a fun lil romcom show to watch and as of right now I rate it a solid 4.9/5⭐️

I can't believe it's been 10 years since my favorite reality show premiered. I'll admit I didn't even know of Face Off's existence until October of 2011 but I quickly ate it up and it became one of my favorite shows.

I wanted to include some of my favorite designs in this drawing but I knew there wasn't enough space for all of them. Are there any you wanted to see?

Face Off inspires creativity and visual storytelling. It's made me contemplate character design in a whole new way. I only wish 2 things, that one day I can use these designs in a proper scripted series and one day it will return in some shape or form.

Review: This is a cute show about love. It’s fresh with the fun Nigerian family and the culture differences of Americans and Africans. It shows a single mother trying to work as hard as she can as a nurse while raising her son and wanting him to succeed in life. While you have a kind divorcee who works with his crazy family and is very understanding to Abishola and her not wanting to pursue a relationship and the pressuring of her aunt and uncle. They lightly talk about the immigrant life with America and it is very heartwarming.
