Guys call me crazy but I think the crazy robots would get along swimmingly. The tragic fact that these two don’t have more art interacting is an offense in my rule book and I have come to remedy that. A fun little question for the IZ Fandom!

So if Dib was listening in on the Great Assigning transmission back in ‘the Nightmare Begins’

How comes he doesn’t seem to retain any of the information he might’ve learned from it?

Such as the existence of the Height-Based Caste System, which surprised him in ‘Tak: the Hideous New Girl’

The name of the Irken Empire itself, which he explicitly didn’t know in ‘The Wettening’

And one of the recordings shown in ‘A Room With a Moose’

(We never explicitly see him learn about Irk but he does mention it by name later on. I assume he learned the name from ‘Bloaty’s Pizza Hog’.

And, you know, the fact that Zim’s ‘Mission’ is bogus, which he never actually learns about. (Unless he was paying very close attention to the Implications in ‘Enter the Florpus’ - and honestly, he kinda had a Lot on his mind so I won’t be surprised if he missed that)

So, pick your favorite answer!

Aliens in the IZ Universe don’t actually speak English. Dib picked up a transmission of incomprehensible alien chatter and only assumed it means ‘they’re coming!’

Dib only picked up the last few lines of the transmission (“the universe will be ours for the taking!” and onwards) so while he might’ve been aware of the Irken Empire as a force with aspirations of conquest (“It’s only a matter of time until all the races in the universe serve the Irken Empire!”) he didn’t know for sure at first if he can link it to the alien who came to earth six months later.

Dib only picked up the very last line of the Great Assinging Transmission (“I’ll have them serve me curly fries”) and drew a lot of Accidentally Correct Conclusions from it.

Dib didn’t hear anything. The transition between the Great Assigning and Dib’s introduction doesn’t necessarily mean he was listening in on that. He was probably just listening to random Space Noises and assumed it is a broadcast from some conquest-hungry alien. This probably a regular occurrence for him and it’s just that today it was happening coincidently around the time an actual boardcast from conquest-hungry aliens was happening somewhere too far away for his equipment to reach.

The transmission was not perfect and Dib ended up missing a few key words like ‘Irken’ and ‘Tallest’ and then also he just happened to take a very long bathroom break just as Zim showed up.

Dib just… forgot some of the details of the broadcast. There’s like a six-months-gap between him hearing it and Zim actually arriving on Earth and he just forgot some of the broadcast. Six months is a long time, cut him some slack okay????

I wonder if D-related stuff will continue to be centered around Law. Robin's main goal is not D, and Luffy isn't interested in D. Will Law be the one to solve the mystery of D?

Robin's main goal definitely include knowing "the will of D" as well! That's her question when she met Rayleigh back in Sabaody. She also mentioned the D while saving Luffy in Alabsta, so learning "the will of D" is definitely included in her goals! The different is just Law want to learn the meaning of will of D and Robin want to learn both the will of D and void century.

Back to the question, yes I believe "the will of D" mystery will be solved by Law or Robin, with the possibility that they might find it out together like how they find the third Road Poneglyph in Wano. Since the two of them have been mentioning "the will of D" throughout the story, it only make sense they found out what it means. That's why the only thing Vegapunk didn't get to boardcast to the whole OP world is the meaning of "D".

But that's just my assumption. Still waiting for Law to appear T^T

in lame mans terms if no one is even going to watch the full thing and see it through second hand shorts, why even make it at all? why not just make shorts about those parts, why put in all that effort, for you see the problem is, the point of art in a sense is to boardcast yourself, but no one has time, or the addition span to watch it full, so it has to be shorts. so making something long like a webcomic or a webseries simply doesn't work anymore

Artists make art because it's fun and creative expression is therapeutic dawg who gives a fuck that is a sad as hell way to see art

I love Spinner but I'll admit I got a little beef with him for how he did act during the Touya reveal. He really went "that's crazy, anyway~ Shigaraki~" like. Come on man. Your homie is trying to kill himself right now. That paired with him saving Kurogiri and going "We need to save Tomura..." Adding on "and the others" as almost an after thought (I'll forgive him for that one bc he was age regressed and his brain got fucked up by all those quirks afo gave him but THIN ICE). I'll also give him +5 points for the "NO WAY DABI GOT DEFEATED HES SO STRONG! ARGHH" comment bc my spinnerdabi heart ❤

I love spinnerdabi tho, it's def one of my otps. And I love Dabi & found family league but tbh none of them really gave a fuck about Touya post reveal besides maybe Toga tbh (the "you're kind, Touya-kun" and "he died? I hope he's smiled at least" lines made my heart 💔). They didn't look for him. They didn't even mention the reveal / boardcast thing. I thought that one game event maybe the Touya thing would be brought up but it was all "oh no Tomura's acting different." And ecen during the war arc he came out there in funeral dressing ready to kill himself and they dgaf. Kinda disappointing tbh. Kinda fucked me up. Touya really needed a support system and he didn't get it. I get a lot was going on and Dabi was always real distant but still... He's out there burning himself alive and acting like he's having a mental breakdown after revealing on national TV that he's the son of a pro hero and was terribly abused, neglected and basically the product of rape and arranged marriage for quirk eugenics and nobody gave a shit it's just... Kinda sad tbh

I've talked about halves before with Zeke and Zackary a pair that was scared of each learning to trust. Now let's do the opposite!

Snowfall was a fairly normal kid being raised by her single mom she was named for being born at years first snowfall.

When snowfalls otherwise brown hair began turning white it was time to see someone.

One positive text later and unlike Zackary she gets a more positive tale. That spilting will be like having a sister, but you're magically connected to be near each other and you'll likely share some sort of ability.

When Frost made her appearance turning snowfall's hair pure white and her right eye a dark blue with a snowflake like pupil she was not interested in learning any form of 'control' wanting to go fullout with their new ice powers.

Snowfall ended spending most of her energy focusing on not letting her use their share magic and did a bunch of things to make her feel warm like letting her hair grow long and wearing a jacket constantly.

As time goes on Frost gets her kicked out of school after school after school as whenever Anowfall become stress and let's up her focus too much Frost wastes no time.

One day they get a letter from King Ray inviting her to the kingdom's invite only magic school. She accepts and when she loses control of Frost the King cuts her a deal. They've been working on an experimental device that could cut the half from the main, however its extremely painful and there's no telling who gets the magic or if it gets spilt between them. Regardless she agrees.

While her hair stays white, she does lose the magic and the snowflake eye. Frost in locked up for being an uncontrollable gremlin and Snowfall resumes studies (the King tells her to finish the year before transferring)

However a couple weeks later she hears of an attack that happened in another town  and when she sees the boardcast she almost see Frosts silhouette through all the ice...

She decides to sneak out and track her down slightly concerned Frost managed to escape the Crown. When she finds her she notices a strange metal sleeve and she's not like herself. She's quiet and she uses the ice and snow more strategic than chaotic.

When they get too close she passes out and wakes up in the hospital finding herself reconnected to Frost and Ray telling her Snow's expelled for sneaking off school grounds.

Frost, a little freaked herself tells Snow she heard Ray talking to an assistant about a device and how she couldn't remember anything of the device being on.

Dispite the trama, Frost still doesn't mellow out at the final school in town...

So since I answered @seyvia about the kinda of wedding dress Maria wore when she got married along with rereading @stillgotme story Karaoke Secrets got me thinking just about Maria in general.

So the version you see of Maria now with the really short hair is so much different to how she was.

She was pregnant and she had a miscarriage which got boardcasted to the world thanks to her old company...mind you she never announced her pregnancy to her fans or even the company but they somehow knew she later found out that the company was able to get all her medical records basically if she coughed they knew about it, looking back on it Maria knew they were extremely controlling but she had been only thirteen when she joined the company she didn't know better and just thought they cared about her but all they cared about was the next pay check.

As she fell depressed after losing her baby, the company kept pushing her to record a new album and to get over it because she's young and she can fall pregnant again; she kept refusing until her husband sweet talked her into at least going to the meeting to see what they suggest; all she got from that day was a headache and her heart shattered into a million pieces as she walked in on to her make-up artist and husband having sex in her studio where she left him for the interview; they told her the truth that they've been having an affair for the past two years.

She of course divorced him of course because Maria's fame it was all over the news outlets and then he wanted to blame it on Maria for losing the baby; Maria of course won and that day she packed her suitcase, sold the house she brought for them and left basically disappearing off the face of the plant.

Now what happened when she disappeared maybe a story for another time.....
