Or, you could survive being stabbed by some unimportant crook, to find hours later that a Nine member has been walking around, framing you, wearing your face...

Welp. Its official. I cant not draw Katsuki Bakugou as an albino. Just something that will always happen now.

SirenXDragon au (or was it dragonxsiren?). Izuku is a very powerful mage, even among sirens. Thus, with the right components, he himself can become a dragon. Though he kinda looks more like a noodler eastern dragon. A very feathery noodle eastern dragon. He doesnt become a dragon super often cuz its kinda uncomfortable but its fun to play with Katsuki and the kids on equal size and strength.

He actually had tried to adjust the components to be bigger since Katsuki grew quite a bit once he became an elder dragon and now is as big as his mom (who is one of the biggest western dragons). Unfortunately, hes too big most of the time, and the components to be that big are banned so he usually shrinks himself to match his family's size and to fit into their home. That and his food consumption was too high. Best to just stay normal-ish size.

Himiko actually gets her giantess blood from Katsuki being from a line of Elder dragons, thus she inherited part of that early making her one of the rare few non-elder dragons that are about as big as an elder dragon. This includes her upper siren half, which is unusual (but shes an odd girl in general). Others often mistake her as half giant because of this.

I might adjust the designs still, but I just wanted to draw noodle deku.

Danny was tired. Tired of life. Tired of Death. Tired of Amity and how there was nothing to do. 

Don’t get him wrong! The peace pact was the best thing to happen to this town, to this dimension, to him! No more random ghost fights for no good reason, no more protecting ghosts from scared and angry townspeople. It was, well, peaceful! 

And he liked that, he really did! But after a couple hundred years of nothing to do but kingly duties, paperwork (courtesy of the stupid eyeballs) and the occasional friendly spar, he was tired of it all. He needed something different for a little bit. A couple years of excitement, a vacation from his boredom.

 And he truly did need it. Being forever young and mildly ADHD was doing him no favors either in the boredom department.

He sighed. 

He needed to expand his horizons… but… he had never really left America in all his years, had he? Sure there were a couple flyby’s but he had never set foot out of America… (the moon and other planets didn’t count he nodded to himself, floating at the idea of going on vacation)

He smiled to himself as he picked up his phone and called his sister/cousin/daughter. I wonder where in the multiverse she is…. 

Well, Danny reasoned with himself, it wouldn’t be a road-trip without my favorite little traveler. I wonder what Japan is like this time of year.. It’s been a while since I’ve talked to Toshinori…

When Shepard dies so does Inko and Kaidan ends up moving to Japan for a while and then the dorms and shit happen and like cousin goes to Horizon and BANG Shepard but as Kaidan has been forced to work on himself with a kid around and not stew in his own grief he listens and shit and BANG Kaidan is on the SR2

My Hero Academia AU: Annoyingly Efficient

From The Summer Camp Ambush Simulation, BNHA fanfic by AutumnMobile12

The Vanguard Action Squad was a notorious vigilante group that operated in the Tokyo area.  They’d appeared some years back without warning or provocation in the form of back alley muggings where the culprits were found restrained after an anonymous tip to the authorities.  Small-time thugs and old world yakuza wannabe’s were targeted.  Information pertaining to ongoing police investigations would appear in unmarked envelopes taped to the doors of precincts.  And it wasn’t just violent crime either.  The first time anyone had actually seen a member of this elusive band had occurred when a typical businessman had walked into a Shinjuku ER accompanied by the young man who had talked him out of taking his own life.  That young man had later been identified as Shimura Tenko, who later proved to be the leader of this odd collective of renegades.

Vigilantes weren’t anything new, but the Vanguard was a new breed of what Aizawa and other Musutafu Pros had termed annoyingly efficient.  They weren’t often caught and were frightfully adept at worming their way out of an arrest when they were.

I consistently do the opposite, lol - dropping my hero academia characters into worm, which I sum up with "puppies, meet meat grinder".

every time I imagine dropping riley or taylor into somewhere like my hero academia I can't help but giggle because that post about it being essentially the same as introducing an invasive predator to an unprepared ecosystem was 100% correct. every post-gm crossover is the equivalent of putting a feral lion in the rabbit enclosure and I love it. catch me out here cackling as I take notes on how many characters from other fandoms need therapy after exposure to riley's brilliant insanity or tay's unhinged escalation.

Ft. my "Toga Himiko is a Bonesaw" take under the cut:

I'm not very familiar with the superhero genre beyond Worm and MHA, so I might be missing a pre-existing trope - but I think these two share an archetype: Little Girl Villain who juxtaposes extremely gory, visceral acts with a happy and innocent demeanour. Their villain personas epitomise idealised archetypes of girlhood; frilly-dress-and-tea-party '50s little-girl for Bonesaw, and lovesick tween schoolgirl for Toga. These archetypes are anchored to a specific age - the age they were when they lost the chance at a civilian life.

On that note, neither of them got much choice in life, with Toga branded a villain for her Quirk and Bonesaw groomed into villainy by Jack. They both lost their families, and seek a surrogate family in their villain group, whose goal is (ostensibly) mindless destruction.

Is it any wonder that they're frozen in stasis at the age when they were traumatized? I find it interesting that they're both older than their archetypes (Bonesaw, at 12, is pretty much the age of Toga's archetype!) but are unable to move past these personas.

From your posts so far I feel like you have such a wide variety of understanding complex characters. How do you think you would tackle writing for Todoroki Touya, and have you ever considered any storyline for him? What kind of civilian reader do you think you’d craft for him if so?

beyond a post-canon bonnie and clyde AU, i’ve never really seriously considered a fic for dabbers. 🧐 he’s a fun character in canon, but to me that’s because he’s a walking tragedy—his hatred and desperation for his father. his resentment of his perfect baby brother. the way both of those things blindside him to his other brother, his sister, their mum. i don’t see him as like, the fun flirty bad boy that i think was a given read of him, earlier in BNHA—i think what he eventually goes through will profoundly change him, if he lives. it’ll take hard work for him to get to a place where he can be like, happy with the family that’s reaching out to him—his father, his mother, his siblings…. his perfect baby brother.

for a post-canon dabbers fic, i’d probably strike at the in-between time between him physically and mentally healing—like, his injuries have been treated, he’s gotten physical therapy. maybe he has a prosthetic arm like his arm, or a cane to help him walk but he can do things, he can physically be apart of the world again—but he still bubbles with his resentment. touya’s a massive fazacon in canon and everyone who disagrees with me can argue with a wall LMAOOO i’m right about this forever, but like, for a x reader fic i think that means competition for his attention on a very base level, you know? like, how do you bond with and romance a guy that’s constantly sour about how his father ruined his life??? to me that means you benefit best from having a Reader-insert who either has their own baggage, or is nihilistic enough to laugh his off LOL. and i think if you’re going to make them both like, kinda unrepentant assholes, you’re almost obligated to give them a happy ending??? or rather—that’s how i would write it. like with the dabi/bonnie & reader/clyde idea, i would set it up so that they both think they’re gonna die at the end of it, that the reader (lowercase) thinks they’re gonna die, that endeavour and rei and the todo siblings (minus Shouto) think they’re gonna die—and then at the end they don’t. one of them—maybe dabi himself, because i think we owe him that chance—tries to pull a stunt that like, lets Reader live, say. maybe he meets up with his perfect baby brother at some stage during the Crime Spree and it’s Shouto who’s like, I can help you. I can help both of you, please let me, and at first Dabi’s furious (how fucking dare this useless squirt of endeavour’s hot fucking snot talk to him like a hero) but then. you know. he gets attached like a chump, or whatever. maybe he sees more of himself in you than he wanted to, or maybe being outside of the careful, clinical surveillance he was under before means he has to confront like—what the point of it all is, you know? he failed in killing his father, his baby brother, himself. he got patched together and now endeavour’s grovelling like a worm for forgiveness Touya doesn’t want to give him, almost (it’s not atonement or forgiveness he wants—he wants the family he should’ve had, the power he should’ve had from birth, perfect and whole). and it’s like—the choice is either go out in a blaze of glory or…. i don’t think he’d even let himself imagine it, LOL. you and him and your fucked up issues like linen in the cupboards of some cute little house with a tidy fence around it? bullshit. pathetic.

(but you patch each other up. and the way you laugh when someone eats shit trying to run during one of your robberies makes him think of his days with the League of Villains—the way everyone was so unrepentative in what they were after, the hurt they wanted to inflict. And yet Toga’s out there somewhere, getting rehabilitated back into society and last Touya heard Spinner was working with heteromorph discrimination programs after a rough recovery—and you could still make it, he thinks in disdain. He’s on his last, last chance but you—you could still have that tiny home, somewhere. The linen cupboards that hold more than the issues that sent you to the same centre he was languishing in. You could still have a future, and later that night when you’re asleep he walks away from the car you’ve traded (stolen) the van in for—and calls his perfect baby brother, who answers the phone silently, waiting.

“You wanna help?” Touya asks, dry. “Then help, Hero.”)

Danny was a vigilante. A criminal. Someone to be stopped and hunted. And he had been for well over 100 years. He is a ghost after all. And death is for eternity.

But… then something shifted… Something changed.

Not him of course, Ancients know you can’t teach an old ghost new tricks. No… Danny didn’t change, couldn’t change, but the world around him certainly did.

Amity stayed mostly the same over the centuries, with some exceptions. New generations came and went, and old residents died. Most of the dead came back as ghosts and roamed the town, helping relatives, giving closures, and enjoying their afterlives. Others died and didn’t come back, either accepting their fate and trying for some sort of alternate afterlife or deciding that they detested ghosts to the degree that they’d rather cease to exist than become one.

Some of the original residents who were exposed to the larger amounts of ectoplasm just… stopped aging all together after a certain point, usually in their mid thirties.

Not Danny though. He still looked the same as he did on his deathday. Still eternally 14. He was, and forever is, s͉̭ͮ͊͛ͅt̞̞̱̗̮̥͛ͫͯͭŭ̜͗̎̎c͙̯̓ͣ̿̂k̥̱̪̹̼͊̅ͧ̾.

And around Amity, the rest of the world kept moving, ever aging, ever changing throughout the centuries. There were wars, revolts, rise and falls of countries….

And then came the Age of Quirks.

AHFJG hiii Eden!! I don't have a number 8 for the AU list ask game (maybe that's the joke? I've never played Stanley Parable 😂) so here we go I'm just gonna make one up!

Actually, I've thought before about adding KEPLER to my ship with Toshinori and making him a former sidekick to my self insert! My self insert Jane Mayweather, hero name Beltane, is a healing hero with pixie/fairy theming who was a disaster response specialist! With the ability of flight she was able to get there fast, and her 'magic' made her able to heal people small wounds and stabilize people with big ones until more help arrived.

I imagine Kepler in this AU would have empath/telepathic powers that clue him into people's emotions and sometimes their thoughts if they're loud enough 😂 it didn't seem like a very heroic power, definitely not a flashy one, but Jane saw potential in him to be good at her line of work and took him on right out of high school. His abilities were able to calm people who were in shock or hysterics after things like accidents or villain attacks, which made them easier to help! The two were very close...until one day...a villain attack goes wrong. She doesn't take on any more sidekicks after that.

Of course I use her to ship with Toshinori, but if I had to pick a quirk for Rex...hear me out here. A bounty hunter named Jango Fett, along with his fighting and weapons skills, has a quirk that allows him to clone himself! But instead of them being facades and disappearing once they got hurt, they actually were flesh and blood PEOPLE and existed even after he used them and they developed their own personalities and were now forced to find their way in the world. Maybe they even band together against their so-called father figure and aid in *grimace* police efforts (let's pretend that's not a can of worms) and try to do good in the world in their own way!

AKA Sophia adopts a dog who can't do anything... other than set Shadow Stalker on a redemption arc.

Inspired by Missy by LadyGreenFrisbee on AO3. It's a hilarious BNHA fic. Go read it. Seriously.

After beating up a few Empire mooks at a dog-fighting ring, Sophia somehow ends up with a puppy. It's useless, constantly slobbers, whines, pees everywhere, can barely stand up, has these really cute eyes and oh no she's attached.

Taylor ...doesn't get it, but she is also very amused at the whole thing, especially once she figures out the bug spy technique to figure out why on earth Sophia Fucking Hess is being so weird about this dog. Plus, Emma's just as confused as she is, which means she's not bullying Taylor. On an unrelated note Eclipse is really cute, and Skitter is not immune to puppy eyes.

Taylor mentions a few tidbits of the situation to Lisa, who promptly laughs herself to death. On a whim, she decides to see what happens if Rachel and Sophia meet while walking their dogs. Rachel gives Sophia some actually good life advice, and says that the fact that Eclipse, with all her, uh, unique traits, can survive in Brockton Bay of all places means she must have a heroic and protective master. Sophia has no idea what to say to that, and starts thinking.

Emma ...also doesn't get it. Sophia told her that weaklings like Taylor and Eclipse should be cast off so that the strong can be strong, so clearly Sophia just needs a reminder that Eclipse is weak and she'll go back to being strong. Naturally, Sophia completely loses her shit, and starts her redemption arc by beating up everyone within arms reach. Sophia eventually turns herself in for the locker and a few odd cases of manslaughter. She eventually returns to the Wards and finds a familiar face petting the Ward's unofficial mascot her dog.

Disclaimer: I don't know enough about Worm canon to write this thing proper, and this AU is unlikely to ever make it off Tumblr. I still get a lot of happiness out of spinning this idea around in my head though.
