1. Chicken Noodle and/or Bakso. They're tied wwwwwww. These two are my favorite street foods, especially when it's raining bc they both have nice hot broth. Bakso is literally meatball soup, usually served with vermicelli ✨ For the chicken noodle, they varies, but I love Jakarta style the most. So basically it's noodles served with chicken broth and topped with sweet&savory chopped chickens, boiled vegs, pickles, and pangsit crackers ✨

They sometimes combine this two dishes together👌

2. Siomay. it's kind of like Indonesian dimsum, served hot with peanut sauce 👌✨

3. Soto Ayam. A kind of chicken soup. It also has soooooo many varieties, but I love Lamongan style the best 💖

4. Gado-gado. Kind of Indonesian salad with peanut sauce 💖

5. Lontong Balap. It's lontong (rice cake) served with bean sprout soup, fried tofu, and a kind of shrimp paste base

Those are the foods I eat regularly, but bc I am a gremlin I'll add more foods wwwwww

6. Sate. Indonesian skewered bbq 👌💖💖 it differs from other bbq bc we coat the meat with sweet soy sauce before putting em above the charcoal, and it's served with peanut sauce and raw shallots

7. Rendang. I think you'll know this one wwww it's the most popular dish after all

8. Nasi Kuning. Literally means yellow rice. it's a fragrant rice cooked with coconut milk and turmeric. Usually cooked for celebrations and special occasions

9. Stir-fry Papaya Flowers. Yep. Papaya flowers. It's so good but maybe not for everyone bc papaya flowers and leaves are naturally bitter.

10. Cumi Tinta Hitam. Basically squids cooked with their ink ✨

A series based around Marinette who takes the physical form of a cat who has magic. We get to see adoptive dad Jason as well as some really good in character interaction between the batboys and between the rest of the Batfamily. [Collection of one-shots, so the series is incomplete but the actual works are complete]

Another series, but not a long one at all. It's a twitter fic, and one done very well. We get a very typical Maribat plot, but done from a completely different angle in a very interesting way executed perfectly. [Complete]

A Ladybug in Smallville by @unmaskedagain

unmaskedagain Is possibly the best Maribat author, having multiple great Miraculous crossovers works even outside of MLB x DC that I would highly recommend. In this, we basically see the typical Lila pushes too far and gets Marinette gets kicked out and sent to America, but instead of to Gotham she is sent to Smallville to live with the Kent's. Three parts and a masterpiece. [Complete]

Another work by them, your typical Biodad! Bruce Wayne, it's not troupy at all and does a good job I think of doing a sibling relationship and a good job of Marinette entering the celebrity spotlight. Really cool take and perspective. [Complete]

Daddy's Little Villain by @unmaskedagain

What can I say, they are a good writer. Villain!Marinette done right never felt fake or forced like a lot of Villain!Marinette fics do. It is centered in the Young Justice Cartoon universe so if you haven't watched the cartoon (which you should because it's amazing) you may be confused on some bits, but I don't think it matters considering that so many people come into this fandom with little to no DC knowledge and do fine. [Complete]

Con Man's Daughter by @arty-shadow-morningstar

Brilliant. Amazing. Show-stopping, and whatever else Lady Gaga said in that one interview that turned into a meme. Biodad! John Constantine, completely original and just brilliant. They do this thing where every part they add half of it is like a flashback to when Marinette is little and it's a really cute story, and the other half is current day Marinette and her adventures with some friends and working under her dad (some Daminette is sprinkled in). It is completely troupe-free and I honestly wish their stuff would become troupes so I could read more stuff like it. [I'm pretty sure it's incomplete but I may be wrong (@arty-shadow-morningstar please post more this is like my favorite fic)]

lmao. im being honest there are far better, funnier lines in the fic than what i put above and my illust (just mine, Alc rendered the works wonderfully) didnt give them justice since i was focused on bloody scenes hehe.

The fic wont be as gory or horrory as you might think from the illusts, and I giggled more than I enjoyed the blood. But for sure, we definitely tortured Soul :p

As promised, here’s the first fanart of a fanfic I absolutely love, by @blueteehood called I found you in the woods (you didn't have a care in the world). I came across it not too long ago and found it so beautiful and kept coming back to it. Their interactions are everything.

I did make a mistake however, after finishing the first drawing. Hiccup was supposed to be a senior, which means those two aren’t meant to look that young.

I apologize if the drawings are not top notch, but backgrounds are a pain to draw and I’m still trying to figure out how lighting works lol. I keep coming up with excuses, but I’m always riddled with anxiety when I post my work online, hopefully I’ll get used to it one day.

Other than that, I had a lot of fun drawing and really hope that you guys like them. And do expect more drawings of fanfics in the future.
