O plenilúnio se aproxima, mas veio a sombra do sol e tingiu a lua de vermelho. A expectativa de luz plena se tornou penumbra, num falso minguar. Nesse contraste de sensações, traço um paralelo com o dia de hoje. 

Monday, Moon's Day, o dia da Lua.

A terceira semana de janeiro se inicia, e nesse terceiro dia da lua de 2019, acompanhada pelo eclipse, acontece a Blue Monday. As expectativas do novo ano, que poderiam ainda estar em evidência, brilhantes como a lua cheia, vão se sombreando junto com ela. Uma certa melancolia surge, os desejos de mudança acumulando embaixo de uma pilha de iniciativas mal sucedidas para colocá-las em prática. Olho para o céu, e vejo a cor vermelha do sol se sobrepor impositora à claridade leitosa da lua, ocultando-a de nós no surgimento do seu dia. O sol, como se não quisesse ceder seu lugar no céu, como se quisesse nos fazer esquecer que a lua existe, trocou sua luz pela sombra. 

A nós só resta encarar a escuridão. Não há ponto de referência, a não ser nós mesmos. Nesse cenário, trancafiamos nossos desejos pois tememos perdê-los. Mas será que o medo não é mais forte do que a própria escuridão? Logo essa, tão ilusória e passageira... Pensando bem, toda escuridão é igual. Ela não resiste ao tempo. No movimento do universo, tudo passa. As luzes voltam e iluminam o que estava oculto. A ilusão se dissipa e a melancolia vai atrás, porque a verdade é que a cada minuto o novo pode acontecer.

Nesse dia, entendo que a escuridão tem o seu momento. No lugar de temê-la, escolho apreciá-la, até que ela passe. Afinal, eu ainda estou aqui e aprendi que devo ser meu próprio ponto de referência, com ou sem ela.
