Every day I curse the fact that cars and the modern world have made it impossible to own a horse unless you're rich. I miss working with horses so much and would love to have one but the only people who actually keep horses around here are all rich white women and they're typically terrifying as fuck to deal with. Ma'am I assure you that picking this horse's hooves in his stall isn't going to kill him, I'm going to sweep the place after I'm done with his groom. No I don't own horses myself, yes I know they're big fragile idiots, but I promise you that walking him to the pasture solely to clean his feet is gonna be way harder for the both of us than it is to just get them done while he's peacefully chomping on his hay

but I keep finding things to tweak and edit and I suppose I might just be editing these documents until the day I die, I'm okay with that

but frag when do I post them

like sometimes I go back ten chapters and insert a tiny lil' detail that now plugs in a much later story thing or ties up a loose end or enforces some concept that was always there but I forgot or just didn't manage to portray correctly the first time.
