and eddie? well, he really likes how steve was flirting with him. misses the way he'd flex and slap playfully at his arm and look at him with bedroom eyes now that he's putting some distance between them. eddie can't fucking take it. he doesn't know why he misses all of that, just knows that he does. so eddie does what anyone would do, he asks dustin.

dustin, who tries to get him to have an open mind to the fact that maybe, just maybe, he likes flirting with steve. that he likes boys too or just boys or maybe just steve but that he does at least like steve. dustin sees the heart eyes that eddie gives steve and sees the puppy dog eyes when steve starts to pull back. he meddles and pushes and gets it to where steve and eddie finally confront that yes, steve likes eddie and yes, eddie likes steve back but that it's new for him. it's all new, being in a relationship and liking a boy for the first time.

but steve holds his hand gently. he pushes curls behind his ears and wraps his arm around his shoulders when they watch tv. he takes it at whatever pace eddie wants because that's what a good boyfriend does and eddie can't help but grin because the word boyfriend is now getting thrown around. cause who would have thought? eddie munson has a boyfriend and that has such a nice ring to it.

there's this universal fandom experience where a song sorta-kinda reminds you of a character so when listening to it you put conscious effort into taking the song out of context and picking around its themes and lyrics for it to fit the blorbo of your choice and their situation as much as possible. this is the standard.

Feeling invalid in my queerness bc of not wanting to:

- medically/pharmaceutically transition- don't want to talk to a Dr about feelings I can't comprehend

- getting and using a binder- I got some ✨ big naturals ✨ and I don't want to waste money on an experience that may make me hate myself more

- enforce my pronouns with anyone- it doesn't hurt every time, but the joy of people getting it correct is nice and feels better if I don't have to fight for it

- come out again- I'm worried of being wrong and also Idk if actually I'm cis, just misogynistic and/or fat phobic towards myself instead. I don't want to be that guy who's just looking for attention

It's wild to me to experience these thoughts but also know how lowkey illogical they are. I'm obviously not that guy wanting attention, I'm hiding my true self from people to make sure I'm "correct" but I also know that gender is fluid (the label I use to most accurately describe myself) like it's literally in the name

I don't have to do surgery right off the bat and I don't even have to take it all off. I could do hrt at the start to find out what feels right. I literally dispense hrt to trans clientele all of the time so I know the drs are out there. The main way to know if flat is what I'm looking for is- surprise- a binder! And most sites to order one have you measure to get the closest fit.

They never tell you that the closet has a cousin called the Fence- where you're out but still afraid to live the life you know you want.
