Now with that ehehehe here’s my modern au hcs 🤭🤭

- Laurence is unfortunately a licensed doctor. He uses it to ofc treat patients but does have an underground organ selling business where he gets extra funds from (no wonder he’s stinky rich). And yes, he has like 9273928392 candles around his house and his friends keep telling him that one day one is going to touch a curtain and burn him alive

- He says he’s built different.

- Also has a whole wall of just taxidermies that he bought in his college days, has an especially big buck hanging on his wall that Micolash claims watches him everywhere he goes

- Ludwig owns a farm and a horse racing business (family business) and has his younger siblings help work whenever they’re free. Also gives basic riding lessons to children since he wants everyone to have a horse phase (he never grew out of his)

- Used to be part of the football team with Maria but apparently he was intimidating the opposing side with his height that he decided to “retire” (Maria saw this and decimated the championship for her friend’s honour)

- Stays over at Laurence’s place a lot. Has no idea about his,,, side business and he should stay ignorant.

- Gehrman retired super early after the stocks he bought as a joke suddenly gained a ton of value in less than a few weeks so he’s now able to live comfortably in his early 40s. Refuses to share his secrets

- Lost his foot in a boating incident in a college party, Laurence saved his life by doing basic medical aid even if he was just a freshman at that time. In his pain induced delirium he thought he saw an angel,,, he saw the total opposite

- Maria is his pseudo daughter that he checks up on to make sure she’s ok, said no boyfriend until she’s 50 but she went around and got a girlfriend instead

- Literally cannot drive a car. No matter how many lessons she does she always crashes it (rip Laurence’s BMW) but is extremely good at riding motorcycles

- Joined a biking gang for fun and now she’s as bulking as the men there, even drinks and arm wrestles with them whenever they visit

- Adeline is Maria’s fiancé, they’re just waiting for a specific beach to open up for reservations and then they’ll finally have the ceremony. She’s a writer and earns a lot from her books selling in the thousands

- “Bloody Crow” is Maria’s bratty little brother. That’s not even his real name but he refuses to say it (there’s a rumour that it’s Mario but he’ll beat up anyone who says it)

- He moved in with Maria after their parents got tired of him bringing in his Highschool friends to sing shitty rock songs in the garage

- Micolash is the town’s resident weirdo /j not really tho. Works as a philosophy professor in the local college and he’s so unhinged that students aren’t sure if they should hate him or love him

- has the best handwriting out of everyone else and is damn proud of it. It used to be Laurence but he got the infamous doctor’s handwriting after a year so he’s at the very bottom

- He and Rom schedule hangouts in the local cafe to talk about how life is going and updates about their research (the literal occult). 100% believes the beach that Maria and Adeline are trying to reserve has a dead god in it and that’s why it’s still closed.

Still thinking about that post about how "no one ever says Micolash's name out loud" and I have to wonder: What if Rom knew Micolash the way Micolash appears to know of Rom. Like, I've seen more than enough posts about them being friends when they were both alive/human. What if we never hear his name spoken because the only person who remembers it cannot speak anymore.

I love him and his stupid green skin hes decaying 🗣🗣 I lobe him

I like to think that hes naturally just scaringly pale (Even anemic I dare say) but since hes a dead corpse in the waking world his body state in the nightmare has gone a bit south, thats why hes getting green. Hes probably scaringly cold aswell, i should draw him more 🗣🗣
