i had an insane amphetamine-based obsession with wicca phase around two years ago and the consequences continue to this day. this previous hyperfixation with wicca phase leads me to have weird opinions on things that nobody else cares about and nobody else really wants to hear about at all. I honestly believe that Adam was really on the edge of creating a new wave in music when he was in his early nu-goth phase and making fresh art just after leaving Tiger's Jaw. I really lament the loss of this creative energy. Now it seems like he's subsumed to the will of younger producers and artists who feature on his songs. pre-GBC wicca phase was honestly so refreshing and so unique

i love this line and this scene in general so much. they're trying to figure out what "hour be none" means and reid walks in and gives the answer (with some mostly unnecessary but endearing additional info) and elle responds so affectionately. i really loved their dynamic, however you view it.
