I can really write an essay about gojo’s past arc because it’s really at the point where I need to be asked specific questions so I’m not rambling on forever
#jjk has lost me tbh#like shibuya is just not good and the consistency of the current plot is just… not there#and I love itadori down 😭 but I got to call a spade a spade#I just think that gege’s writing is at its BEST in contained arcs#like longer arcs is where he don’t even know what he doing bc he’s adding so much with no conclusions#why is WHY gojo’s past arc is so good and brilliant#gojo x geto x riko x toji was an excellent combo to worldbuild with and show why there’s such a nihilistic feel to sorcerers#and why gojo does not praise the same system that basically upholds him as a king#and just the way gojo and geto start the arc and finish it is *chefs kiss*#but gojo’s relationship with all three of them is just so good like I can’t get over it#gojo who is born blessed & riko who is born to die for the system that upholds him as such#gojo the spoiled arrogant guy becoming empathetic & taking on a selfless role as a teacher bc of what happened#vs. geto the respectable charming guy becoming cynical and downright hateful to justify their world#gojo the top of this system and was handed everything vs. Toji who was bottom of the barrel#but he worked for everything despite how much tragedy and life fought against him#JUST FOR HIS SON TO BE BORN with the revered curse that rivals gojo#I was gonna say you can’t make that shit up but gege did and it was GREAT
