When I tell you that Ancestor Hoshina has a grip on my psyche, it does not even begin to scratch the surface of how feral I have become.

I am not even a Hoshina main, but I just keep coming up with ideas for Ancestor Hoshina x Modern Kafka. I have a whole ass SKIT in mind if Kafka ever got isekied and traveled back to before the Meraki Era or some shit and met Vice Captain's uncle. (In my head, he's the uncle.)

Kafka: (Drops out of a portal three months after disappearing into one) Holy shit guys, you are never going to believe what just happened. Scientist: We actually have a pretty good idea. Everything you did managed to end up in history books. It's how we found out what happened and pinpointed your location. Kafka:[Nervous] What... ended up in the history books? Scientist: That you ended up as a cryptid for a while, then met Hoshina's many great grand uncle and somehow roped him into an insurance scheme- Kafka: Okay, first off, the insurance fraud was his idea, and second, it was a very shitty insurance scam. We donated back every penny to the people we got it from! Scientist: Was it also his idea for you to be his closeted concubine? Kafka: . . . Kafka:Please tell me Vice Cap doesn't know. Scientist: He was the one that flagged it. Kafka: [sweating bullets] Scientist: He's currently being restrained in the other room. {One room over} Hoshina: [currently wearing the n.10 suit] I JUST WANT TO TALK. trying to learn how to make Left4Dead mods, specifically a survivor model that I already have a model someone else made, BUT MY LORD im WAILING folks

not only am i back in the hell trenches that is a 3D modelling program (spits thinking about school) but also I cant find any good tutorials for Blender and, Kitten, I'll be honest. Daddy's about to kill himself (joke joke but also man this is the THIRD TIME trying again. first two times ended the exact same and i expect this one to end the same. stay tuned!!!)

ps if anyone has rigged up and put survivor models in l4d2 before I will literally draw you whatever you want, full color and shading, if you can put this fucking model for me on steam workshop. (not joking in the slightest, i have the model file I just need you to do the complex shit ; - ; it doesnt even have to be THAT GOOD i just want this fucker in my game)

8- in ten words or less, what are the themes of the piece, intentional or otherwise?

the idea for this fic spawned from me remembering that aziraphale “doesn’t need sleep” and thinking that maybe aziraphale never has slept, so i thought it would be nice if he and crowley had a silly little sleepover. at first i didn’t think it really had any notable themes other than “wouldn’t that be cool,” but upon further thought, i would say the themes are: healing, discovering your own autonomy, letting go (of a variety of things), and probably something about the power of friendship i think. oh and something about transitionary periods in life too.

10- what do they currently need?

on the large scale, to step back, re-examine their existences and decide what to do with themselves, but in a more immediate sense, to get wasted and then get un-drunk, play some scrabble or something and have a good long nap :)

14- what do you like about this WIP?

i think i’m succeeding at striking a balance between imitating the writing style of good omens the book (which i absolutely love) and my own writing style, which makes me very happy. i also think that it’s pretty funny; it starts with aziraphale unintentionally scaring the shit out of a tax inspector guy with his perfect accounting (and then crowley on purpose scaring the guy to be an asshole, lmao).

did a test bake of the shoe textures because they had the most obvious things going on and wough. yay. no seams :) very crusty fabric but no seams yippie

hated being in an honors class within the regular class that made me have to self study but hate it even more bc the teacher was right. i really do like studying and figuring out how to do things by myself. guidance from others in trying to figure out how to do certain things frustrates me sometimes and working with others in general becomes a nightmare but if im invested enough i can figure things out on my own in like a day just by troubleshooting alone and its frustratingly fun bc it turns out to be super easy and simple to do. the issue though was that i was less interested in algebra two than in anything else to have efficiently self taught myself especially within a like hour thirty minute class.

For our uni project we have to experiment with something we've never done before and I keep switching between wanting to try making stop motion puppets and blender character modelling 😥 every time I think I've decided on one I always start leaning towards the other.
