In a post 9/11 world being a dark skinned and Arab- especially if you're Muslim puts you at a high risk for discrimination and hate crimes. TSA won't exactly be nicer to dark skinned Arabs because they think they're resistance fighters and not terrorists. There's no advantage or privilege to being darker skinned

The implication here is that light skinned people deemed to be terrorists or otherwise violent people are demonized and have it worse. Dark skinned people who commit acts of violence or terrorism are hailed as heroes because they are dark skinned. This is deluded shit. Unless the implication is that calling the murderous IDF terrorists after all the war crimes that literally most of the world sees and condemns is about their skin color. Even though the IDF could be literally dark as night and still be terroristic war criminals. It's just not relevant.

i’ve felt a terrible, heavy, physical exhaustion the last two days and i know it’s my good friend Depression™ paying me a visit but like my coworkers keep asking me what’s wrong because i am visibly miserable and i can’t really answer them other than saying i feel “heavy” and they don’t understand but i’m not about to tell them that i just wanna go lay in bed for 2 weeks bc i don’t have the physical or mental energy to be a person right now and it’s just ugh. now that i have insurance (albeit shitty) maybe i should try to get on anti depressants. I don’t really want to, but my insurance isn’t good enough to go see a therapist/psychiatrist so it looks like this is my only shot at not feeling like i wanna die all the fucking time. i’m just....so tired.
