Lil manga update/content since I haven't did one in Awhile.

Two series I was reading got cancelled. Shonen Jump seriously be giving me PTSD from the amount of cancellations of series I liked😭. The latest two being jiangshi x & MamaYuYu. The latter was one I felt could've been good if given enough time..

Kagurabachi is definitely the best new series introduced. Chihiro is cool as a main character with a good enough backstory. I feel the first arc had to go big so it didn't get cancelled, which kinda made me not like the fast pace. But this second arc is much more liked by me since I feel the series can relax now and enjoy and be written with that mindset

Also collected some Choujin X volumes earlier in the year..

One Piece has been good lately. The Gorosei appearing was epic and can't wait till the series returns.

My Hero academia has been My Hero academia 😅. Horikoshi artwork always is 🔥🔥🔥. Some plot points I may don't like but imma still stick with it till the end👌🏿

Also realized earlier in the year how long I been reading Weekly Manga(Last Pic)... Didn't even realize it. I explained before as a kid I use to read Shonen Jump magazines(early -mid 2000's) but that wasn't a weekly thing , probably every 6 months or so if I had to guess😭.Only one I knew for sure the year I started reading was One Piece. Everyone who read during Marineford & One Piece Strong World era knows how much hype the series was getting during 2010. So I said f**k it and let me see what's so good about it 😅. Been reading ever since 💯. Bleach I literally began reading during the Ulquiorra vs Ichigo fight & was hooked reading it ever since. My first weekly read Manga series was Naruto. I vividly remember finding out about Sub anime + also seeing that Naruto was already in a time skip in Japan (I think Gaara had just died vs Deidara) . Shit was definitely a shock for someone who didn't know anything about Japan essentially being so far ahead of America in terms on the Naruto episode. I think in America we were in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc if I had to remember. But ultimately I started reading and the first chapter was 345 . Sasuke killing Orochimaru was the first ever glimpse of my weekly Reading Experience 👌🏿.

3 new dope manga I have been reading

4 knights of the apocalypse - 7ds spinoff where Percival is the main character who forms a team and finds out he is gonna bring doom via a prophecy. It also features Ban/Elaine son Lancelot and Tristan who is Meliodas/Elizabeth son

Yomi No Tsugai- Made by the author of Fullmetal alchemist this is a manga about twin siblings Asa and Yuru.. This manga features more spirit based abilities vs science of Fullmetal alchemist. It's also set in the modern day. The lead character Yuru is accompanied by his Tsugai which are essentially his spiritual guardians. The Tsugai are the main power system in the verse as of now

Choujin X - written by the creator of Tokyo Ghoul this manga is based around the world of choujin who are people with superhuman abilities. The lead character Tokio was a normal awkward teen who upon getting into with some choujin decided to take a shot with the ability to turn him into a Choujin. Like Tokyo ghoul this manga has great art and story. Out of the 3 due to recent chapters this is my favorite as of now when looking at these 3 manga..

Mysterylover watches Bleach episodes 345 "Sparkly Shoujo Fanfic Ichi"

1. I got a surprise when I went to my episode guide on Bleach this morning and learned I've got 20 episodes left until the anime is done. But I also know that the manga continues for like 200 chapters after where the anime ends, so while we wait for the new anime, once I reach the anime finale I'm gonna continue to the manga. So mysterylover watches Bleach will be able to continue!

2. So to recap where we were. Uryuu is in trouble, everyone else has a part time job.

3. We join up with Tatsuki's two sidekicks, who I'm headcanoning as a Bert and Ernie type duo. Which is my fancy way of saying I ship them.

4. Tatsuki saves their dumb asses from getting crushed by falling girder (apparently Deku's fighting Gentle somewhere around here). Being a total badass she figures out someone's after them.

5. THE MAID GIRL FROM THE OP! Is she our new Boss Villain? Just a minion? What kinda powers does Meido girl have? She has that typical Harley Quinn female anime villain look but the maid thing makes a difference.

6. ORIHIME AGAIN! And she's wearing a great dopey outfit and feeling self-conscious about Ichigo, who she imagines as a sexy Shoujo hero. lOL Hime. OMG she's like losing her goddamn mind.

7. Damn though, it suddenly gets all serious. We have to remember that we're in a Shonen with Plot Stuff. Uryuu calls her and presumably brings the plot to her.

8. Orihime and Ichigo are on the scene to find out what happened to Uryuu, and apparently Chad too. OMG is Hime gonna wear that adorable sweatshirt for the rest of the season?

9. They get to check on Uryuu, who's definitely still super injured. Uryuu does that jerk Shonen thing where he cuts his friends out of his life because I DON'T NEED YOUR STUPID HELP. Dammit Uryuu I just saw BakuDeku work through this exact same plot I don't need to repeat that again twice in one year.

10. Damn Ichigo just looks wrecked by this. Creepy Blue haired guy shows up to apparently drag orihime home alone. Is he like an anti Ichihime shipper or something? Or is it just a coincidence?

11. OR MAYBE HE RECOGNIZES THAT HIME IS SUPREMELY POWERFUL AND NEEDS TO BE LET IN ON PLOT STUFF. OK bluenette dude I like you now.

12. A human villain, huh? Someone with powers like Hime and Chad. (I LOVE HIME'S OUTFIT IN THIS EPISODE BTW IT'S SO CASUAL AND TOMBOYISH). Anyway that's why he's telling Hime plot stuff, since Ichi's lost his powers and all.

13. Is that Rukia? Or is Ichi just hallucinating her? Like, he still can't see her. Hallucination Ruki apparently doesn't remember him. OK just a weird dream.

14. Anyway back at school Tatsuki's Married Sidekicks are inviting Ichigo to bowling and filling him in on the plot.

15. The duo are now apparently about to get beaten up by the MobPsycho100 punk from two episodes back. (so nicknamed because he looks like one of the thugs Mob beats up in season 1)

16. DAMN this thug's dropping all kinds a construction equips on Ichigo these days. What is your deal dude?

17. UryuuDad (I think that's who Bluentte dude is) is here to watch over Ichigo and is going to try and keep him out of the plot. Dude let Hime and Uryu handle this Hime can literally rewind time we're good here.

18. And we end on Ichigo making a strange phone call. LOL WHAT.

100 years and two days.

Impeccable lustre, not a single inclusion lost- or a least, not one that held any memories. A stray arrow had swiped parts of his body, but only those that were in the end meaningless save for aesthetic’s sake. Each day, each minute, each second were still deeply engraved in his body, thriving off sunlight and granting him the wonder of a blessed life. Life where death didn’t exist, it was merely a temporary sleep until his pieces were put back together.Then as soon as sunlight found his eyes again, he’d be up and running as if nothing happened. 

Yet if death didn’t exist, could this be considered a life at all?

Lady Rhea seemed reluctant to give a solid answer, other than “you are all living beings, albeit following a different concept of life.”

Dimitri didn’t dare question. It didn’t disturb him in the slightest- because after all, he and his friends were talking and moving. Innocent, naive and still very young, their atoms still found themselves more at home in the Shore of Nascency than in the school itself. Giggles and whispers, innocent gossiping charmed by lisping and stuttering typical of a youngster. There was battle training, but nothing significant had happened so far. The bleached marks in the sky were small and not very worrying, one of the older ones had once noted.

“They’re scary, the sunlight doesn’t get through them.” A youngster uttered one day, idly playing with a blade of grass. Of fragile body and easily scratched skin, no more than a 2.5- fated to live within the school’s protective walls forever. Lady Rhea had told him about them, those that were fragile enough for the wind itself to be capable of damaging their bodies. No, he wasn’t one of them- for he was born blessed with a body said to be near perfection. A solid 10, fragile in some spots, but overall one of the best and strongest of his kind.

He took it upon himself to protect those who couldn’t face the wind or hold a sword.

Soon his yellow lustre gained admiration from many, a reliable and powerful descendant of the bone. Quick on his feet, the sun reflected wonders in his eyes- his eyesight not being the best, but he always managed to compensate. Unwavering focus and unyielding vigor, Dimitri has never felt fear when facing the bleached skies. Their arrows barely scratched the powder in his body, as he was far too quick to be caught under the flurry. Dimitri was excellence, the best of the best, a polished diamond through and through. He wouldn’t know death if it stared him in the eye.

Because it didn’t stare at him, locking gazes with his partner instead.

The stormy blues that once belonged to Glenn were readily scattered around the grass as his body almost exploded from the impact- a rogue arrow meant to swiftly decapitate Dimitri. Where Dimitri’s body would separate in a clean cut if struck, Glenn’s was splintery and messy, the result of a sapphire’s nonexistent cleavage. There was no gentle last breath as Lady Rhea’s stories once told, no fluttering of the eyes as Glenn went to an eternal slumber. No quiet whispers, no final pleas or words. A horrified look as his face was cracked open, voiceless, as his body fell apart under the arrows’ pressure.

Dimitri had always loved the color blue, lamenting how he was born a bright yellow tinge. Now the blue sapphire eyes that once belonged to Glenn haunted him every night and day- for the first time in 345 years, Dimitri was not fast enough. He hid, he ran, he looked behind once- in time to see them, those ghostly otherworldly beings, taking Glenn’s body piece by piece with disgustingly pleased looks on their near featureless faces. 

Giggles and whispers, venomous gossiping adorned by sighs and exhilaration typical of a monster.

1578 years and two days.

Impeccable lustre, not a single inclusion lost- unfortunately.

What once held his most precious memories, now also grasped onto the most gut-wrenching flashbacks. Broken off hands reaching for him for salvation, the disturbing burst of a mineral being ripped apart by an arrow’s impact, lovely shining multicolor shards scattered around the grass as those same ghostly devils held on to them not unlike youngsters trying to understand the intricacies of a ladybug. And he ran, he ran, his yellow lustre leaving a light trail that rivaled thunder itself as he closed the distance between him and the school with a few leaps. Again, he returned alone. Again, he kneeled before Lady Rhea asking for forgiveness.

Again, for the 4th time, he had lost a partner to the skies.

2000 years, just shy of his 2001th birthday.

The sky was bleached black again.

Felix, a sapphire of stormy blues, stood beside him in a defiant stance.

Dimitri feared death.

The sword was larger than Steve’s arm. He gently wrapped his left hand around it, then looked at Tony’s whitening face. “Hold on to me,” he instructed. Tony wrapped his arms around Steve’s neck and pushed his nose against his blue uniform. Steve counted to three, and pulled.

Tony screamed, nearly deafening his friend. His arms went limp, followed by the rest of his body, and he collapsed against Cap.

“Tony!”

“Is a’righ…” Tony said. He regained a bit of strength and sat up, his left arm against Steve’s right arm. “Is a’righ, C-Cap…” Tony aimed what was left of the suit that covered his right hand, and sprayed what looked like a thick mist of chemicals against his wound. The bleeding instantly stopped. Steve touched the sealant, mesmerized. It was warm. Tony took the device off his hand, then, and handed it to Steve. “Press your middle and forefinger down and to the left,” he instructed. Steve, realizing what Tony wanted him to do, put the device around his hand, gently leaned Tony forward so that he could get to his back, and applied the sealant to the exit wound. Tony grunted and coughed. He put his face in his hands and groaned, then leaned, once again, against Steve’s chest.

Like a raw slab of meat hanging in a slaughterhouse. That’s what Tony felt like – no, that’s what he was. The chains he was shackled to hung from the ceiling of a vast circular room. He stood on tiptoes on a platform, hanging from his wrists. Around the platform, behind tinted windows, were dozens of what the ringmaster called “the bidders.” Tony didn’t know the ringmaster’s name, so that’s what he nicknamed him. Because the operation was a fucking circus, and Tony was the main attraction.

The ringmaster had long, bleached-blond hair, and fish breath. He wore a tux like they were at the opera. Tony wore only dark jeans. When he was taken he was stripped, which was the most pleasant part of the kidnapping. That was 24 hours ago. He’d traveled by private plane and didn’t eat, didn’t sleep, and didn’t get any water as the kidnappers celebrated their victory with champagne.

The ringmaster strolled over to the dangling Tony Stark and whispered to him, “Let’s put on a good show, eh, Stark?”

Tony spat in his face. “I’m not your dancing monkey.” He received a punch to the mouth for that, and Tony’s bottom lip split open. Blood trailed down his chin.

“No, you’re not,” the ringmaster said, “you’re the punching bag.”….

They were supposed to sneak through the forest in the middle of the night and take out the arms dealer’s base quickly and quietly. But, somewhere along the way they tripped an alarm and when they emerged from the tree line, the bad guys were waiting for them. A dozen spotlights landed on the Avengers, and a hundred guns started firing. Strange and Wanda got their shields up. Cap ordered the group to advance with Iron Man, Hulk, Vision, and Parker going high down the middle; Nat, Strange, and Steve going left; and Clint, Wanda, and Thor going right. The Avengers took two steps forward – and then the mission was abruptly called off. Called off, because one of their big guns went down fast.

Tony was in the middle of saying, “Is that a fucking catapult?” when the catapult propelled a shower of liquid silver all over the Iron Man suit. The liquid coated the suit and solidified within seconds, taking the exact shape of a human body. Unfortunately, it wasn’t silver – it was liquid Vibranium. Tony dropped from the sky like a dead bird…..

A shorter man behind him, wearing Eddie’s helmet, pointed his own gun and went to stand beside Buck, weapon pointed up at his temple. Eddie’s eyes widened and his lips clenched like a fist.

“What suite was she in?” the taller guy repeated. “Where’s that jewelry?”

Alexander hated hospitals.

He hated everything about them. The screech of wheels against tile when a bed was moved, the smell of bleach that drowned out the tint of blood that was sometimes in the air, the nurse’s fake smiles when they welcomed you, the doctor’s false sympathy when they delivered the bad news. Alexander hated all of it.

He especially hated it now, racing down a starch white hallway toward his boyfriend. His boyfriend who was hurt. His boyfriend who had been hurt to the point of being hospitalized. 

He’d gotten the call ten minutes earlier, him being John’s current emergency contact. The doctor had said something, though Alex could hardly remember what - his ears had started ringing and his head had gotten fuzzy as soon as he’d heard the words “Mr. Laurens was stabbed”. 

It was like all of his worst nightmares coming true. He hadn’t even waited for the doctor to tell him what condition his boyfriend was in. He’d just hung up, and - since John had taken the car that morning - had started sprinting to the hospital, bare feet be damned.

The man at the front desk looked like he was going to have a heart attack when he saw Alexander. Coatless in forty degree weather, bare feet bleeding on their clean tile flooring, bits of gravel and glass embedded in his feet. He also knew he was shaking like mad, though he hardly acknowledged it. 

“John Laurens’ room?” he rasped, leaning against the counter heavily. His fingers felt numb, and he flexed them rapidly, trying to get the blood moving in them.

“Um-” the man said, obviously concerned. “Do you need a doctor, sir-?”

“No. I need John Laurens’ room,” Alexander insisted. “He was brought in earlier? He’d been stabbed? Little taller than me, green eyes, lots of freckles?”

The doctor chuckled. “Oh yes, I remember him,” he said. “He was cursing up a storm when he got here - something about teaching Charles Lee a lesson?” Alexander sighed.

“Yeah, yeah, that sounds about right.”

The man typed something into the computer.

“Third floor,” he said. “Room 345.”

“Thank you,” Alexander said. “Thank you.” With that, he took off toward the elevator, ignoring the stares he felt on his back, frantically pushing the number three button on the elevator. 

It didn’t take him long to find his room, and when he did, he crashed through the door with no regards to knocking. John startled slightly on the hospital bed, before grinning at him lazily.

“Oh, hey, Lexi,” John said, voice slurred somewhat. There was a nurse on a rolly chair in the corner, typing something into a computer. John was hooked up to an IV - which, Alexander suspected, was feeding drugs into his system to help with the pain - and several pads were stuck to his chest, monitoring his vitals. 

“Oh, thank God you’re okay,” Alexander said, dragging a chair up to John’s hospital bed, grabbing his hand as he sat down. “God, I’m so happy you’re okay, you have no idea how worried I was-”

“M’ sorry,” John said, still with that same lazy grin on his face. “I’d say I g-got off pretty well, though.” Alexander raised an eyebrow dubiously. John looked like absolute shit. His skin was pale, forehead dotted with sweat. His green eyes were dull and unfocused from the medication, eyelids looking heavy. His lips were bleeding slightly and almost bitten through, probably a response to the pain he had been in. He was dressed in a hospital gown and thin pajama pants, and Alexander could just barely see stark white bandages wrapped around his boyfriend’s torso.

“What the Hell were you thinking?” Alexander demanded, feeling anger buzz under his skin. 

“That Lee’s a dick,” John said eloquently. “What else?” Alexander sighed. John yawned, blinking slowly. 

“Just… just go to sleep, Jack, okay? We can talk in the morning. Yeah?” 

John nodded, eyes slowly slipping shut, body relaxing back into the uncomfortable hospital bed, lips parting as he snored. Alexander shook his head in fond exasperation.

John’s poor decision making could wait until another day.

For now, Alexander thought, leaning back in his chair and letting his own eyes fall shut, I could use some rest too.

There are moments when everything is quiet. When you can stretch out on the motel bed, your limbs tingling back to life as your blood begins to flow again. The cool of his empty pillow is Heaven on your cheek; it even smells like him still, the cheap soap and Gas n’ Sip aftershave that’s become him in your mind when he’s away. 

He’s never away for long, and even though you miss him like crazy, you’re glad for the time apart. There’s a few precious hours when you can relax, take a hot shower, get some food into your stomach. But mostly now you just sleep, resting on a stiff cloud of cheap scratchy sheets that smell like commercial bleach and Sam. 

Sam, Sam, Sam. It’s all Sam in your head now. You used to have dreams, ambitions; hell, you were a badass once upon a time. But now? Now all that mattered was Sam Winchester. 

He was passion and fire, and his touch burned your skin with every pass over your naked body. His tongue was like a dagger piercing every part of you, his voice like a spell that wiped away all thoughts but one...Sam.

Even your dreams were filled with him. His intense gaze, the way he said whatever was on his mind without care. He took what he wanted when he wanted it, and thankfully for you...most of the time, all he wanted was you. 

Was it love? No. You doubted he even remembered you were there once he came, but it didn’t matter. You needed him, he needed you. He needed a warm body to relieve his stress and you needed the bruises and scratches, the bites and the handprints. 

It was all Sam. 

Hours flew by, the ticking of the clock had no meaning anymore. Sam came and went as he pleased, and you waited. That was just how it was. 

There are moments when everything is quiet, when your body is still and the world is empty.

Then the door opens and Sam fills everything.

Happy Birthday Ichigo!!

Ok so I have a rising theory that Ichigo Kurosaki is demisexual/demiromantic. Now hear me out: 

at the end of episode 314 in the preview, Kon complains about Ichigo getting all the attention from girls and Ichigo says it isn't fun at all, to which Kon asks Ichigo what kind of girl he likes and Ichigo says "the kind that makes me fall in love with her". Kon laughs at him, saying he "needs to be romanced".

Secondly, in episode 345, when Karin suggests that Ichigo does pervy stuff up in his room, Yuzu says he "isnt that kind of boy at all" and gets mad when Karin suggests that he's a "typical boy" that does perverted "things".

He never reacts to Rangiku's salaciousness or Yoruichi's nudity with attraction but more with embarrassment, sometimes annoyance, and shyness. He's always around very attractive women who a lot of the time show interest in him (Orihime, Nelliel, Rangiku jokingly, Haruko, and barely Nozomi) and yet he never shows any level of attraction back(in the anime)-- not to any of the attractive men he hangs out with either.

His friend group consists of a lesbian girl (Chizuru), a highly affectionate Keigo, and a very protective Tatsuki(though obviously that doesn't make Keigo and Tatsuki lgbt, it does show them being more open-minded). It would make sense that he would also be not strictly straight. Also, not getting the hints of Orihime's attraction (especially in episode 344 when she comes into his room to eat bread) is such a aspec thing, and ( SPOILERS) the fact that he canonly gets together with his high school sweetheart kinda pulls everything together. He built an emotional bond with Orihime over the years, and that's when he finally becomes attracted to her. She, as he said, "made [him] fall in love with her".

I'm going off the anime and the last chapter of the manga, but Ichigo never does anything romantic. He doesn't go on any dates or says he loves a person to their face. Unless I'm missing information from the hundreds of chapters that didnt make the anime, Ichigo gives off big aro vibes in that he doesn't show he has any attraction beyond friendships, and in the end he has a kid(which you can still want even if you're not allo) and is implied to be married even though it isnt said outright that he is married to her (queer platonic relationships exist, or surrogacy) and he doesn't wear a wedding ring(which could also just be a Japanese thing).

Most of Bleach is a story about friendship, which should also be taken into account. Even most of the romance stuff is made off as a joke- anyone Kon is attracted too, Rangiku's flirty behavior(especially in episode 305 with Shuuhei), people assuming Toshiro is Karin's boyfriend in episode 316, etc.

There are lgbt and lgbtcoded characters (Soi fon, Chizuru, Yoruichi, Charlotte Chulhourne, Sayzel, possibly Yumichika, aspec Toshiro, Qpp Ukitake and Shunsui, etc) so its possible that Tite didn't even know he was creating an aspec character when portraying Ichigo and his reactions to romantic/sexual situations.

Like I said, i haven't read the manga, but if you have some input that would be hype!
