1. Ahuska and Thirteen! I don't even know how we got here honestly, but between the duo getting murder-happy on the Star Fortresses, and a sudden pile of shows which are so them, I CANNOT get enough. They're not even SUPPOSED to be together, 13 is MARRIED NOW jfc, and Ahuska is SUPPOSED to be hopelessly smitten by her fox, but ... oops I guess. :') They're terrible. They're terrible for each other. It's a train wreck in slow motion and they're still running along it holding hands. Ahuska dear, stop being attracted to the stupidly hot enemy agent who played a role in your horrible traumatic imprisonment. He bought you steak dinner ONCE.

2. Thirteen/Five/Crow + Ulfran. There's no toxic power imbalance if that's your kink, is there? 8) Throw in some wholesome and genuine love and kindness, spice it up with the occasional kinky patron Sith, and you have the perfect Imperial agent romance recipe. 13, 5, and Crow are married ... with bonus content. I LOVE how this crazy relationship mess just organically arose as a side plot to the main plot, but OOPS it's 13 unintentionally driving everyone involved to upend their entire lives. He dragged Crow to the Empire, pulled Ulfran to the Dark Side, and forced Five to actually care about something other than himself.

3. Blakk and all his romances! Ofc he's still ... supposedly ... Ahuska's main flame. <_<;;; But anyway, he's also been responsible for years of favorite ships and RPs which I still absolutely LOVE and haven't forgotten.

I've been trying to remember if I CARED about shipping as a kid, and whether I appreciated Gambit/Rogue, or whether it was really all just about Gambit. 😂 Either way, in my early fanfiction days, I was a fan of the FF7 Zack Fair/Angeal/Genesis/Sephiroth/Cloud Strife in various combinations. What I think my Muses would be... animal wize.

Lavi- Contrary to belief of some other people, I think that Lavi would be a fox. They’re just as funny and cute as rabbits are and I guess its the hair that made me think they would fit too.

Kieth- I think Kieth would turn out best as an echidna. I don’t know why. I can just see him and (again) his hair just throws me off.

Toki- I can see Toki as a seagull because he always shits on other peoples dreams and doesn’t shut up. (Toki: Gee, Thanks, Blondie.)

Eli- I can see Eli as a bear. He always want to keep his team (cubs. I’m weird, get over it) safe and if you so much as touch them you better watch out.

Tad- I’m wondering if Tad could possibly be a tadpole. LOLZ. (Tad: unless you want to get your ass beat-) Ok, Ok. I’m done. For reals this time. I think that Tad could be a mole because he’s a part of the Blakk bloodline.

At long last, my sixth batch of completed cards for my ongoing and very long term project! My attention has definitely been in a whole tonne of places this year but I am still very much wanting to complete the set, I'm deep enough now that I've just gotta keep going! This lot, as well as featuring a heap of angst and poor lost souls being torn in different directions, features three fabulous guest artists; @theninabird (Nine of Swords), @quinnimae (Two of Wands) and @mafumafuriah (Six of Swords) and can I just say I adore each of those pieces so very very much.

alone: How does your OC deal with loneliness? Have they ever been completely alone before? How do they act when there’s no one around to see them?

There's definitely a big difference between 'being alone' and being lonely. When he just happens to have moments on his own, I think Crow has a tendency to goof off, bop around, sing little ditties to himself. But actual loneliness hits him hard. He's so gregarious, so extroverted, without people around to experience life alongside, to care about and be noticed by and celebrate the silliest little things with, he becomes... empty, adrift, aching to find someone or something to connect to again.

bound: Has your OC ever been imprisoned or captured? What happened? How did they get out? Did the experience leave any scars?

Ohhh no. Crow had a very nasty experience being held in the thrall of a powerful renegade Sith Lord (who had used a butchered version of the werebeast procedure to turn himself into an Arkanian dragon), and was being used as a pawn with the eventual goal of taking revenge on Five. (Because let's face it, Five has a list seventy miles long of people he's crossed in his lifetime.) The Sith/dragon was using Crow to speak for him, and Crow was compelled to hold himself at gunpoint to ensure Thirteen's co-operation. It was an intense and nasty situation but, sadly for the Sith, he'd chosen a very bad time to play his hand- ie, when the boys were hanging out with Ulfran on a secluded island on Manaan, while Ahuska was having her early instruction in use of the Force and Blakk (stuck in fox-shape) was (and still is) invisible in the Force. So the Sith/dragon wound up having to contend with the righteous fury of a very powerful bunch, and ultimately lay in shreds across the beach, but not before Crow suffered pretty grievously. He definitely still carries some emotional scars from the incident; in fact, he hasn't brought himself to pick up a blaster since, which has not yet been properly addressed by anyone.

break: What would cause your OC to break down completely? What do they look like when that happens? Has anyone ever seen them at their lowest?

I think the closest this version of Crow has come to completely breaking was very early on, when the little life he'd started to build fell to pieces under him- he helped Ahuska escape from under Nines' thumb, was dealing with intense fallout with Nines only for her to be killed by Thirteen, and then in his ensuing battle with Thirteen he lost his ship and his arm, and wound up with nothing and nobody. He wound up turning to the SIS, and indentured to them in return for being a test pilot for their latest cybernetic tech.

Naturally, that all wound up going completely sideways as well.

failure: What’s your OC’s greatest failure? Have they been able to move past it? Does anyone else know about it?

I think Crow would consider his lack of understanding of the reality of Ahuska's situation when held by Five as his biggest failure to date; he allowed what he hoped the situation was to overshadow the actual facts playing out in front of him, and feels hopelessly guilty for it. He wonders, endlessly, if he could have or should have acted sooner, just how much of her and Blakk's suffering he might have prevented. Weighing that up against whether or not he would have been able to stay with Thirteen or become a fugitive himself is more than he can bear. He's trying very hard to learn from his wilful ignorance to do better in the future, without really addressing or resolving his feelings

fear: What is your OC’s greatest fear? What do they do when confronted with it? Are they open with their fear, or do they hide it away?

Ooof, I mean it's not exactly an original fear but I think it would have to be losing the people he loves? It's not exactly something he discusses regularly or even actively worries about, but I think he'd just assume they'd... know.

Of course, he's left behind in the KotFE-future when Thirteen and Five wind up frozen in carbonite and presumed dead by the galaxy at large, which he basically deals with by refusing to believe they're dead and forsaking literally everyone and everything else in his campaign to find them and bring them back. Unfortunately his own concept of himself is one of the sacrifices he makes in the process.

future: What’s the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it’s a possibility?

Something something watching the people he loves destroy themselves something something rejected by them despite all his efforts...

Yeah um, I'm not sure Crow remotely foresaw the particular way his world crumbles around him after Thirteen and Five's eventual rescue and is floundering a little in finding a way to rein it all in. He misses them both desperately but feels like a stranger, an outsider in their world now, and it is not good.

hide: What does your OC hide? Why do they hide it?

Crow has always been a heart-on-his-sleeve kind of guy; when he found out that Nines knew far more about Ahuska's werewolfy origins than she was letting on he couldn't bring himself to keep it from Ahuska, despite knowing the repercussions on him would be painful. But he definitely very purposefully and conscientiously hid his ongoing contact and association with her from the SIS while she was initially keeping low on Concord Dawn. He thought he was doing the same with Five later on, but in truth it was Five's decision to go with plausible deniability that kept him from wringing the truth out of Crow.

midnight: What keeps your OC up at night? Do they have nightmares? Fears? Anxieties? What do they do in the small hours of the morning when they should be sleeping?

I don't think Crow is typically the sort to spend a lot of time tossing and turning and dwelling, nor is he especially prone to nightmares. He has, however, wound up numerous times in situations where he's had his morals and loyalties pushed and pulled in various directions, and that's probably earned him a few little side servings of anxiety over the years. He prefers to take action, though, and has repeatedly come to blows with people who are the source any current angst. Bruises are far easier to fall asleep with than moral compromise.

mistake: What’s the worst mistake your OC ever made? What led to them making it? Have they been able to fix it? How have they moved on?

I think Crow would probably say it was how much space he gave Thirteen and Five after their rescue from carbonite. He was insecure about how much he himself had changed since they'd been gone, and convinced himself he was doing them a kindness by not imposing, giving them a chance to adjust to a very changed galaxy and five years of lost time.

But in waiting for them to be ready to come to him, he let even more gaping chasms open up between them and the risk of losing them both- Five to the void slowly eating him from the inside, and Thirteen to Valkorion's empty promises- is very real.

I really hope he can rectify this mistake :c

secret: What’s one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them?

Hmmmm probably how much he wishes Ahuska and Blakk were still living at Five's estate... and properly living there, as part of the family rather than captive, mind controlled and used.

wound: How does your OC handle being wounded? Are their wounds mostly physical? Mental? Emotional? What’s the worst wound your OC has ever experienced?

HMM. Crow has definitely been through a decent amount of injury that he's handled with wild, gritted-teeth grins and cocky perseverance, hence his plethora of shiny cybernetics and the nickname Steel Crow. The mental/emotional wounds definitely build up over time and probably weigh on him more in general? But the worst he's been physically wounded would have to be what he suffered at the hands (well, teeth) of the Sith/dragon that briefly used him as a puppet. (Sorry, Thirteen, you might have taken lots of chunks out of Crow over the years but the dragon wins.)

Poor guy suffered both his kneecaps being broken before being strutted around for the dragon to use his voice... and once he stopped being useful in that regard, had his head crunched in dragon jaws before being tossed around like a ragdoll.

(He only lived through that thanks to Ahuska finally finding motivation to reach for the Force and discover one of her genuine skills, though in her untrained desperation she very nearly died herself in the process of healing him. Girl wound up in a three day coma on the beach, but thankfully all the boys were there to keep watch over her.)

FINALLY getting around to finishing this batch of asks from this very fun set of questions! And AS YOU KNOW the best girl has been through SOME THINGS. A LOT of things. >.>

desire: What’s one thing your OC wants more than anything in the world? Are they open with that desire? Why or why not? What would they do to fulfill it?

In a word: freedom. Ahuska is so so tired of having to hide, of being hunted, of being a danger to innocent people. She wants the freedom to live, and love, open and carefree and unburdened. She wants the control phrase conditioning out of her head. She wants to undo whatever it is that makes her tear Force Sensitives limb from limb. She wants to exist, openly, with rights, without a bounty on her wolf's pelt. She wants to stop hearing 'we can't, you can't, it's not safe for you'. And she is completely open with this, her driving force in life for some time now, and she will do almost anything to fulfil this desire. She might even fully embrace learning to use the Force, now that someone's put the idea into her head that it might be the one way she'll have to earn an unchallenged place in the galaxy.

future: What’s the worst possible future for your OC? Are they taking steps to avoid that outcome? Are they even aware it’s a possibility?

Probably to wind up back in a cage, broken and under external control, used as a tool to destroy everyone she loves. She's acutely aware of how real a possibility this is and is incredibly driven to avoid this outcome. (Five has no idea how lucky he is that some very good people are quite fond of him, or Ahuska might not have been able to resist the temptation to hunt him down and remove him from the equation, which would substantially reduce the risk of anyone using her control phrase against her.)

ghost: Who or what haunts your OC? What happened? How do they live with their ghosts?

The people she's killed, for sure, especially as more and more memories of her early werewolfy days as an Imperial tool become open to her. These ghosts, she lives with by reminding herself that she had no choice, she had no ability to consciously stop herself, and of course by doing everything she can to avoid winding up in that situation again. The nights she's slipped up despite finally knowing what she's capable are much harder for her to deal with.

She's also definitely haunted by the knowledge that her monstrous form was one of Blakk's nightmares, and possibly still is. She still hasn't found a way to properly deal with this yet, and might not until they can finally have an actual conversation again.

hate: What does your OC hate? Why? How do they act towards the object of their hatred?

Before she became close to Thirteen, it was very very easy to hate Five in a very pure and righteous way. For what he did to her, for the way he treated Blakk, for his casual cruelties and despicable, high-born Imperial attitudes. She still does not understand at all how anybody could ever be fond of such a person, but she's not actively targeting him for a future murder any more which is a pretty big deal.

mask: Does your OC wear a mask, literally or figuratively? What goes on beneath it? Is there anyone in their life who gets to see who they are under the mask?

Ahuska wears a lot of masks, largely as a matter of self preservation. A very common one is the 'I'm fine' mask that she's learned to wear around little stuck-as-a-fox Blakk, because it breaks her heart to see him feeling any sort of guilt about their situation. I think she and Thirteen are currently sharing a mask that's telling the world 'we're brilliant, actually, very put-together and also extremely sexy and talented', which is quite actively preventing them both from experiencing their own private catastrophic depressed meltdowns. It's a super healthy coping strategy that won't at all end in heartbreak. And of course, in her day to day, out in public life, there's the mask she wears to give the impression that she's a simple, unremarkable, absolutely-not-a-werewolf-or-fugitive little Bothan, just going about her day with no troubles or lofty aspirations. It's tiring, though, and being a hermit is far far easier.

The fact that she's currently quite intimately bonded to Thirteen means that he's actually the most likely to glimpse who she really is under all the masks; how broken and frightened she is. He's definitely been the only person so far to demonstrate a real understanding of who she is and what she wants in life, and the wild but intensely caring duality of her nature.

The Jedi on Tython who have been helping her are also committed to peeling back the protective layers she's built around herself and helping her discover and come to terms with the pieces she denies and ignores; they have seen more of her than most.

nightmare: What does your OC have nightmares about? How do they deal with their nightmares? Do they tell people, or keep it to themself?

Ahuska has nightmares about being caged. About suffocating walls closing in on her, about heavy chains wearing her down, about heavy boots resting on top of her head. She has nightmares about a seductive hand brushing along the length of her leg, luring her into the cell from which there's no escape. She keeps these nightmares very much to herself, and doesn't know what else to do but try and push them from her mind, bite back the tears, and desperately hope they won't return when she closes her eyes again.

secret: What’s one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them?

I don't think she ever wants to let on just how tempted she is by the idea of just running away with Thirteen and never facing reality again. It's a fantasy, and she knows it, but gods if he were to actually suggest the idea out loud, she's not sure she could resist.

skin: How comfortable is your OC in their skin? Do they grapple with anything that lives inside them—a beast, a curse, a failure, a monster? How do they face the smallest, weakest, most horrible version of themself? Are they able to acknowledge it at all?

Ahuska has gone through the full range of emotions, from absolute loathing to complete adoration of her inner wolf. Ultimately she loves her wild self and lives for the day she can exist freely and openly in whatever shape she feels like wearing in the moment.

Knowing that the Force is something she's privy to and has the capacity to wield has taken a lot longer to come to terms with; after a long period of denial and disgust with herself, absolute anxiety and mistrust of learning, she finally reached a stage of cautious acceptance that was workable... and now, finds herself on the verge of embracing it in full.

The weakest and most miserable version of herself? When she was completely broken, had lost all faith in herself, and handed over complete control of her thoughts and actions to the worst person she'd ever met? Oh, it kills her to know that she can be brought so low, and to acknowledge it is to bring herself to tears. To shivering, shaking, ugly crying. She hasn't yet found a way to properly reconcile this part of her.

torture: Has your OC ever been tortured? Would your OC ever torture someone else?

Oh, yes. She was subject to some very nasty treatment at Five's hands. Frequent pain, starvation, denial of basic needs, basic comforts, any form of privacy or dignity... and, having suffered so, she has absolutely no desire to inflict the same on any other being. She is, deep down, committed to the idea of being a force for good in the galaxy- and not wanting to be anything like Five is a pretty solid motivation to steer her in that direction, as well.
