1. Ahuska and Thirteen! I don't even know how we got here honestly, but between the duo getting murder-happy on the Star Fortresses, and a sudden pile of shows which are so them, I CANNOT get enough. They're not even SUPPOSED to be together, 13 is MARRIED NOW jfc, and Ahuska is SUPPOSED to be hopelessly smitten by her fox, but ... oops I guess. :') They're terrible. They're terrible for each other. It's a train wreck in slow motion and they're still running along it holding hands. Ahuska dear, stop being attracted to the stupidly hot enemy agent who played a role in your horrible traumatic imprisonment. He bought you steak dinner ONCE.

2. Thirteen/Five/Crow + Ulfran. There's no toxic power imbalance if that's your kink, is there? 8) Throw in some wholesome and genuine love and kindness, spice it up with the occasional kinky patron Sith, and you have the perfect Imperial agent romance recipe. 13, 5, and Crow are married ... with bonus content. I LOVE how this crazy relationship mess just organically arose as a side plot to the main plot, but OOPS it's 13 unintentionally driving everyone involved to upend their entire lives. He dragged Crow to the Empire, pulled Ulfran to the Dark Side, and forced Five to actually care about something other than himself.

3. Blakk and all his romances! Ofc he's still ... supposedly ... Ahuska's main flame. <_<;;; But anyway, he's also been responsible for years of favorite ships and RPs which I still absolutely LOVE and haven't forgotten.

First Ship

I've been trying to remember if I CARED about shipping as a kid, and whether I appreciated Gambit/Rogue, or whether it was really all just about Gambit. 😂 Either way, in my early fanfiction days, I was a fan of the FF7 Zack Fair/Angeal/Genesis/Sephiroth/Cloud Strife in various combinations. The fire fox, “tulikettu”, is from Finnish mythology. Its fur is pitch black, but it shines in the right lighting conditions and sparks in mysterious light when you touch it. Those sparks would fly to the sky and create the northern lights when its tail or sides hit the snow or branches as it ran. The Finnish word for the northern lights, “revontulet”, literally translates to “the fires of the fox”. It was hunters’s biggest dream to catch one as its coat was very valuable and it would’ve made you rich and famous for the rest of your life. Stories say that their coats were used to lit cellars as they were safer than using fire. Made for an illustration course at uni where we had to pick a character from Finnish mythology, design it and make a character sheet!

What I think my Muses would be... animal wize.

Lavi- Contrary to belief of some other people, I think that Lavi would be a fox. They’re just as funny and cute as rabbits are and I guess its the hair that made me think they would fit too.

Kieth- I think Kieth would turn out best as an echidna. I don’t know why. I can just see him and (again) his hair just throws me off.

Toki- I can see Toki as a seagull because he always shits on other peoples dreams and doesn’t shut up. (Toki: Gee, Thanks, Blondie.)

Eli- I can see Eli as a bear. He always want to keep his team (cubs. I’m weird, get over it) safe and if you so much as touch them you better watch out.

Tad- I’m wondering if Tad could possibly be a tadpole. LOLZ. (Tad: unless you want to get your ass beat-) Ok, Ok. I’m done. For reals this time. I think that Tad could be a mole because he’s a part of the Blakk bloodline.

Aerrow- Of course, I think he would be a hawk. Not overly sure why though.

Septangst 16: Broken

He pauses at the corner of the house, the edge of morning daylight and shadow drawing a stark line across the ground. 

It isn’t something he can cross. Even if he did, he would feel no different. The sun now fails to warm his dark fur. The chill from the dew-speckled grass seeps into his paws, drawing into the pit at the center of his being. Droplets cling to his whiskers and the tips of his fur; somehow his breath is still warm enough to provide them life he isn’t sure he has anymore. Maybe this is where it goes, as it leaches out of him. 

Maybe he would evaporate, like the morning mist, were he to cross that threshold and step into the warming light.

Slowly, he tips to the side, coming to rest against the house’s foundation. Exhaling, his foggy breath curls up into the air. The edge of it catches the light and shimmers like a forgotten dream, before dissipating. He’s so tired. He doesn’t remember going out, into the night. 

There’s a lot about these days that escape him now, like the impermanence of his breath.

Is this really all existence has to offer?

Has he always been this way? Or does he simply commune more strongly with the isolation? Maybe there is nothing wrong, and he just is.

Or isn’t.

Maybe he is the dream, her dream, and he fades as she moves on. 

Maybe he is his Watcher’s creation, and he goes away when his purpose is gone.

Does he remember his face? Does he remember his voice? They’ve gone, bit by bit. He doesn’t know where.

He slides down, to lay in the coolness of the shadow. The silvery-golden droplets shimmer before his eyes in green and gold, like a mirage. She doesn’t come to him anymore. He feels the pieces of himself scattered across the ground, like glass. They are no longer vibrant and sharp, but worn and dull. 

He will be like this. Forever. 

And then he won’t.

He blinks, and the edge is gone, and it is only night.
