But I was gonna make a joke drawing about how I took a pact hiatus because Blake's accidental factory fun times made me forget him too but uh drawing cancelled liveblog restarted because HI I REALLY DIDNT SEE THE BLAKE IS THE VESTIGE TWIST COMING

I was so excited about seeing the Blakey Dies twist that I missed the immediate follow up and I feel Flabbergasted! Jaw dropped! Socks knocked off!!! What!!!!

Blake: *walks out on a balacany.* Hey Mom. Have you seen dad?

Kali: Oh he is over there with Yang. *Kali smiled as she pointed down to there yard.*

Blake: Oh Good. *She smiled and walks over next to her mom.* I Tell him somwHAT THE FUCK!? *Blake suddenly yells as she see Ghira and Yang fighting with her dad having Yang in a headlock.*

Kali: Oh don’t worry, sweetie. They are just playing around. *Kali smiled as Yang elbows Ghira in the kidney causing him to let go of her and giving her enough time to wrap her arms around his waist and full on suplex him.*

Blake: HOW IS THIS PLAYING AROUND!? WHY ARE THEY EVEN FIGHTING!? *Blake panicked watch Ghira quickly recovering, pulling his head from the ground and drop kicks drop into a tree Breaking it.*

Kali: Hmm... Ya’know. I’m not sure. I just walked out here saw your father and Yang Shake hands take their fighting stances and *Kali explained as Yang charged at Ghira and after dodging a swing from the beard man started to punch his gut before upper cutting him off the ground.* Well here we are.

Blake: Oh my gods this is awful! *Blake mutter to herself and her father stumbled back, rubbing his chin as Yang goes for another attack only for Ghira to catch her arm and swing her up into the air, grabbing her leg and is about to drop her on his knee.* DAD STOP! 

Ghira: *Ghira Stops mid way and looks up towards her daughter.* Oh good morning sweetie.

Yang: *Yang also looks up and waves with her free hand.* Hey Blakey!

Blake: WHAT IN THE GODS NAMES ARE YOU TWO DOING!?

Ghira/Yang: *The two look at each other and back to Blake.* Morning exercise.

Blake: ... HOW IS FIGHT TO THE DEATH EXERCISE!?

Ghira: We aren’t fighting to the death. We both have plenty of aura. *Looks to Yang.* Right?

Yang: Um, yeah. Let me Check. *Activates her semblance and used the extra strength to grapple Ghira to the ground.* Yep. Plenty of aura.

Ghira: Hey! Hey! We agree no semblance.

Yang: Oh right. *lets go of Ghira and Helps him up.* One freebie.

Ghira: Just one. *draws back a fist.*

BLAKE: DO NOT HIT MY GIRLFRIEND!

Ghira: *Whips head around to Blake.* Girlfriend!?

Kali: Oh my. *Kali smirks happily with a giggle.*

Blake: *Blushing* Y-... Yeah. Yang and I are together.

Ghira: *turns right back to Yang with serious expression.* Is this true?

Yang: Yeah. *laughs nervously.*

Ghira: I see. *Lightly chops Yang head and then pats its.* Welcome to the family. If I had know I would have taken it easy on you.

Yang: Haha don’t you dare. My dad and I spar all the time.

Ghira: I see. Well then. *takes a fighting stances* Shall we continue.

Yang: *Smirks and takes her own stance.*  You got it.

Blake: NO!

Ghira/Yang: But-

Blake: I SAID NO!

Kali: Oh I have never been more proud of you. I new lover and you already have them whipped. 

Blake: What!? Mom, No!

Yang: That’s for the bedroom! *Yang called out making Blake blush and Kali cover a little oh from her mouth.*

Blake: YANG! My dad is right next to you!

Yang: *Looks over at Ghira glaring with a raised eyebrow at her.* ... If it make you feel better she uses it on me.

Blake: YANG!

Ghira: ... Meh, Like mother like daughter.

Blake/Kali: DAD/DARLING!!

Keith Jarrett (born May 8, 1945) is an American jazz and classical music pianist and composer. Jarrett started his career with Art Blakey and later moved on to play with Charles Lloyd and Miles Davis. Since the early 1970s, Jarrett has also been a group leader and solo performer in jazz, jazz fusion, and classical music. His improvisations draw from the traditions of jazz and other genres, including Western classical music, gospel, blues, and ethnic folk music. 

His album, The Köln Concert, released in 1975, became the best-selling piano recording in history. In 2008, he was inducted into the Down Beat Jazz Hall of Fame in the magazine's 73rd Annual Readers' Poll. In 2003, Jarrett received the Polar Music Prize and was the first recipient to be recognized with prizes for both contemporary and classical music. "Purple Faced Portrait"

This was a rough portrait study that I decided to do in markers and colored pencils. Aside from some of the caricatures I've done in the past, this is the first time I attempted drawing a serious portrait in markers!

I had an old photograph of jazz drummer Art Blakey as a loose reference. One I've used at least once before in another piece I drew. I was less concerned about capturing the original model's likeness and more focused on capturing the various changes in shadows and dual lighting that shone on the face.

It ended up taking a little over an hour to complete.

HEY JUSTIN YOU WERENT A COWARD YOU WERE A CHILD! 18! Nobody expects an 18 year old to save the world’ Brian tells Justin how to get even ‘now that is a good advice. Im starting to realize that every advice he has, has something to do with education. Aw Brian is upset because his blondie is upset. SEE?! A COUPLE!’

Introducing The Jazz Tome

I operate a website called The Jazz Tome where I catalog jazz liner notes, contemporary reviews, and ephemera from the 1950s and 1960s. The website has been live for about six months and I currently have 259 records listed with nearly 400,000 corresponding words. Think of my website as a jazz encyclopedia, an analog oasis in a digital word. No logons, no ads, no popups or sales pitches. Just information in a straightforward and easy to understand manner.

Honestly, marketing of any kind is exhausting, but I feel the need to talk about what I'm doing somewhere on the internet. Tumblr makes the most sense because of the beautiful photography, record labels, and album covers involved. The pictures should draw you in, and hopefully the world of information keeps you coming back.

I'll dig into some of that album art another day, but I think a good introduction to my site would instead be to show off original artwork from illustrator Tim Foley, who has been in the business for over 30 years now with a client list of nearly every publication you can think of.
