Lastly, but just as important to me, is that the world does not stand in solidarity with countries that seem less important. This is the way of the world but doesn’t break the cycle. I will always stick by my commitment I made during my graduation speech, to live by Micah 6:8. An extension of this is Isaiah 1:17: “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow”.
