Ever wanted to play Bitville from Sims Life Stories, but with its original lore, right after Vincent's Story completed in Sims 2?

Well, then I might have something for you! You might remember that we updated Four Corners, but with Riley's Story completed last summer as well. In these alternative versions of the recreated Stories neighborhoods which the HBG and I made years ago, you can play with the sims just like in a freshly "unlocked" free-play neighborhood in Sims Life Stories, as if you played through the story mode in TS2.

Additionally, right before the end of Vincent's Story, the main character Naomi gets hit by Vincent's very own satellite and Vincent pleads with the Grim Reaper. However, Grim would only return Naomi if Vincent is willing to give up his fortune for her. So you get to choose the outcome of the story with these two options:

Vincent values money over love: Naomi dies, Vincent gets to keep his fortune, mansion, job and receives a statue of Naomi (which is basically also her grave)

Vincent values love over money: Naomi survives, but Vincent loses his fortune, mansion and job. He would then live together with Naomi with almost no money to start off of.

I recreated both scenarios, so you can download either neighborhood, based on your preferred ending. (In TS2, you could technically also resurrect Naomi now and let Vincent keep his fortune, but that's up to you then, lol.)

Also, if you’re not familiar with Vincent’s story, I recommend watching this lovely series/sims machinima made by the talented Bright Sim Studio on YT. 💕

It’s based on the storyline from the game and I must say they did an excellent job!! It’s very true to the original story and I love the new additions/plot twists as well! Definitely worth checking out! ^^

If anyone fancied playing the Sims Life Stories and Pet Stories hoods, Hood Building Group on MTS recreated them all, and recently updated Bitville so you can choose to play from the two different endings onwards :) Four Corners from Riley's Story has already been updated in this way last year, and I saw they currently working on updating more of their hoods to be played from the end of the story as well, so keep an eye out! I did originally add all the hoods to a megahood and just started making the community lots over, but now I might start again with just the updated Four Corners, Bitville and also Arbor Falls (as there's presumably no update coming, as no story), then add Mesa Flats and Garden Heights once they're updated :)

I must admit that I miss my usual BB CC but I have to do this makeover with only the in-game items, store, and stories conversions. At least I can still use the shiftable everything mod to decorate.

i also have a "chaste" brothel, i think i use cj's brothel woohoo which is based on attraction (and does require some friendship relationship :/) but it alters price... aka you make more money banging ppl attracted to you

but i did have a lot of fun turning Bitville's Sasha Aires into the town bicycle before she found an older husband. She made GOOOD money giving up that Benadryl p*ss to random townies and men, not to mention the ticket machine.... the tv and poker machine kept loser men there for HOUUUURS.... free money without having to shake her thang

end point: i love using ofb to run sketchy businesses like "party houses" or brothels.... i'm thinking of having brandi broke turn her trailer into a boom boom room, or opening a sketch strip club where the girlies offer "extras"

OMG same. I never really played with OFB until I realized I could do that an now I'm running some of the most successful business I ever have. I'm running this really cool roof top club that's level 5 that's like a nightclub/casino but also sort of a brothel.

I saw CJ's brothel woohoo, I need to figure out how it works because making more money based on attraction seems like a fun game play element. I REALLY wish that we had a better drug mod so I could start a business to sell drugs. Pandorasims SAYS that you can sell their pot but I haven't gotten it to work yet.

My dream is to create drugs that sims can use directly from the inventory autonomously. That way if you sell it you can see townies doing drugs around town.

Jennifer went to visit her beloved older brother Daniel, who was taking care of the house, because Mary Sue along with Lilith and Angela were at a meeting at the Oldie's house.

Jennifer: And these last days have been super wonderful for me, Lucy is doing very well in classes, Jhon got a new job and above all, I received an invitation from the Capp bank!

Daniel: Really? You know that it's almost impossible to work for that family, just like for the landgraab!

Jennifer: Yes haha! I was also surprised to see that my boss had that letter for me... And that's not all, if you knew who I saw for the first time in a long time...

That greatly surprised the red-haired man, who looked confused at his sister.

Daniel: Who?

Jennifer: Uh...!

Daniel (interrupting her sister): Please, let's not talk about her, she is happy living with her grandmother and I just spend money to buy things for her!.

Daniel: The only thing I know is that Mrs. Katina did comply with enrolling her in Academie Le Tour.

Jennifer (while searching for something in her bag): Well Daniel, remember that both you and Mrs. Katina have the girl's DNA test, it's a pity that her mother disappeared…

In that moment, Mary Sue arrives, making the conversation very uncomfortable

Humbert: I think there was an accident and Consort together with his wife Contessa decided to increase security.

Brad (as he went inside to talk to his younger brothers): Hey, dad says hurry up so we can take Eddie to this costume party or something...

Monique had invited her friends Priscilla and Renee to help her prepare for the party at the Capp mansion.

Rénee: It's obvious that this is your first time going to a party like this, haven't you really been to a wedding or any formal event?

Monique: Hmm, yeah, but when I was a baby...

Priscilla: Well, here we have everything ready for the makeover, Well Monique, sit in this chair and relax, it will be like in the movies! Renée, pass me the magazines, please!!

The two friends began to do Monique's makeup for the occasion, the result was perfect, once the makeover was finished, Rénee and Priscilla went downstairs to see the final look.

Katina: I'm glad to know that my daughter has very attentive and good friends like you girls! Thank you very much for helping my little Monique with that party!

In that instant, Monique came down the stairs dazzling everyone.

Rénee: OMG Monique, You look so beautiful!!

Justin had his prom, so that’s parents go crazy night. He went with Tara, the most avaible girl for him.

Jason went to a newly build queer club in Bitville (or wherever lives Don Calamari and that Vincent dude) to meet some local LGBTQ+ sims. Fun fact, many of Life Stories sims like Riley’s boyfriends and Vincent Moore aren’t straight. He had a one bolt at the very least and of course he needed to bully someone, in that case it was Greg. He’s into broke people who can cook, very demanding.

At least Jodie Larson and Sasha had some luck in love.

When Marissa was home alone, she invited Carlos but don’t worry, nothing happened. They have no chemistry at all.

I'm absolutely insane, so I do 1 week / 7 Days per round, so from Monday 12AM to the next Monday at 12AM.

My seasons are ten days long, and I also use BoilingOil's Slow Aging Controller, so I have all my sims only age three times a week (I want to say it's Wednesday, Friday, Sunday?). Up until recently I also used a mod to synchronize my hood's seasons (this meant that if I ended a round and it was the third day of winter, the next household I loaded up would also be in the third day of winter).

I ended up getting rid of it, but I might add it back in... my main neighborhood is pretty huge (Pleasantview + Bluewater Village, Four Corners, Garden Heights & Bitville as Subhoods + Downtown, where I have the Crumplebottom family (a playable Mrs. Crumplebottom + her granddaughter). This means getting every household through a rotation takes... forever (I just recently finished my first rotation... it took me about 2 1/2 years? 😔 But in my defense... I go through cycles of playing Sims 2; I'll be obsessed for 2-3 weeks, then drop it like a hot potato for 6-8 months... like right now, I firmly in a Baldur's Gate 3 wormhole and haven't touched the sims in ages).

I like that the seasons move as I go through the rotation since it makes the world feel more alive, as if time is moving for the other households even when it's really not (I decide what they do and when! A fie on story progression ala Sims 3/4!).

But in that same vein, I kinda fear that season synchronization means that some households might never see certain seasons. Considering I have the 'let kids be kids' mod that allows them to enjoy a 'summer vacation' (ie. no school during the second season quadrant), I decided to ditch it and keep the seasons the same between all the households... even if that means playing through a season for another 2 1/2 years when I eventually start my second round. 😅

super curious about other people... i normally do the default 5-day/1 season rounds, but i've been considering bumping up my seasons to 7 days because sometimes i feel like i don't quite get the necessary momentum going in only 5 days. but then i'm worried that it'll be too much of a good thing and each family will overstay their welcome 🤔 i can't imagine doing any less though! i've heard of some people doing 1 or 2 day rotations in uberhoods and i just can't fathom it!

Vincent's Story - Sims Life Stories - Final Chapter

Vincent was preparing for the date with Naomi. He wrote a new song for guitar.

After practice, he took a shower then he was fully prepared for Naomi to come over.

The time passed 6 pm, and the doorbell rang. Naomi was here. Vincent stood up from the couch.

Naomi suggested that they watch the new episode of a popular TV series, 'For Love or Simoleons", which was an adaptation of Riley's Story.

After the episode ended, Naomi wanted to check out Vincent's satellite.

The satellite was still above Bitville. Naomi was amazed by it. Vincent remembered he wanted to play on the guitar for Naomi.

Naomi wanted a dip in the hot tub, so she changed into bikini. But Vincent told her to come over to the man-cave.

Naomi really loved the song. She thought Vincent is so romantic! It was the second serenade she got.

Vincent asked Naomi if she wanna move in with him, and she said yes. They sit on the couch and talked for while. They both felt lucky, but especially Vincent. Finally his life will be complete.

Naomi wanted to watch the stars, but none of them was prepared for what was about to happen.

Vincent's satellite just fell from the sky and landed on Naomi.

Vincent was completely heartbroken. Why is karma punishing him so much? He could have lost anything else, and he had to lose the love of his life in such a cruel way.

But maybe it wasn't an accident after all... Johnny Cullen was leaving the crime scene. Vincent didn't notice him.

Vincent pleeded the Grim Reaper, and Grim gave him a choice. Continue his life as a wealthy CEO, but Naomi travels to the after-life, or he gives up everything, money, house, job and starts from the bottom, but with the love of his life.

Vincent didn't think twice. He couldn't live without Naomi anymore now that he tasted happiness. Grim was satisfied with the decision.

Naomi couldn't believe what just happened, but was really happy that Vincent chose her. They will be fine with less as long as they have eachother.
