for as long as neito monoma remembered, his heart was full of you. almost like the honey of a beehive, slowly overflowing and dropping to the floor. although, he swears that you're sweeter than honey itself. or, at least, that's how it felt. it started with small, short glances, secret hangouts at a small cafe, texting every day, training with each other, bittersweet confessions, and secret good-luck kisses.

but, for as long as class 1B and class 1A (excluding you) knew, neito and you were enemies, rivals, foes, maybe even nemeses. there was only so much your schoolmates could know, though. U.A's rigid course aided you and your boyfriend in keeping your relationship under warp, people failed to notice the longing stare the blond boy would hold whenever he saw you training with what he described to be "tetsutetsu's twin" from class 1A, the slight tone of pride whenever you'd counter an insult of his with your own words, acting like it wasn't your love language reserved for only each other; sneaking away from your respective dorms to meet each other in the ungodly hours of the night, exchanging sweetened words.

you waited on the bus with your classmates, the vehicle bustling with excited conversations; mina and the girls fangirling over each other's outfits, kaminari asking the "are we there yet?" question every five minutes, iida struggling to keep your classmates quiet, and so on. as you fixed your appearance slightly, you checked the time on your watch, reading that it was now 8:00 PM. however, a certain blond texted you, interrupting your moment of silence.

"darling, we have arrived at the venue. where are you?" monoma texts, with a stunning picture of the venue sent under his text. the dim fairy lights hung around the place, the food table with a chocolate fountain and appetizers, and the chandelier that would highlight the bodies of the people dancing.

just as you finished reading his message, you heard your homeroom teacher state that you guys had arrived. almost immediately, everyone cheered, giggling, and rushed out of the bus, exploring the venue after a few reminders from Mr. Aizawa to not get lost, and to behave. you dusted off your clothing, as you looked around for your boyfriend, neito, before you finally messaged him back.

"i'm at the entrance, neito," and not even five minutes later, you heard the only voice that could make your chest feel warm. neito's.

"hey, pretty," you greet, sending him an awkward wink.

he scoffs, greeting you with a kiss on the cheek. "hello yourself, sweetheart."

"shall we dance?" he asks, pressing a kiss to your knuckles. you give him a nod, as well as a chuckle. he had the tendency to make things as "theatrical" as possible. you were reminded of the time when you guys reenacted an old classical dance on a random rooftop, with no one else around.

a few moments later, the U.A high school party was in full swing, the pulsating beat of the music reverberating through the crowded gymnasium. amidst the sea of bodies, you and your blond boyfriend were drowning in the rhythm, dancing together in the dim atmosphere.

however, the dim atmosphere wasn't enough to hide you and your boyfriend, as well as your secret relationship.

kaminari spat out his drink from a few meters away. he, and mina were hanging out in the food table. "is that (name) and monoma?! the guy that hates us all?!" his jaw drops right after his statement, as he nudged the pink-haired girl beside him. the girl's eyes widen, before she squeals happily, "it's like a forbidden romance! eek!"

in the other side, there was tetsutetsu and kirishima. "yo, that's monoma/(name), your classmate!" they said to each other at the same time, and same speed.

you and neito exchanged a knowing glance, overhearing your classmates' reactions.

"monoma, did you force (name) to dance with you?!" kendo exclaimed, looking at her classmate with furrowed brows, and holding empathy for you. your laugh started off as small snickers, and then to a full-blown laugh, as you fell to your knees, giggling and holding your stomach. in the background was your boyfriend explaining, waving his hands as if to defend himself.

"you and monoma?" mina asks with a grin, behind her, were your classmates, who stopped to hear your answer. flies were about to fly into their mouths, at this rate.

"me and monoma," you replied, chuckling at the whole ordeal.

the situation made the night more entertaining than ever.

✧ 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚. omg vera comeback! i’m finally free from classes and i’m off from work for three weeks so yay proper summer break! oh yeah, i finally got bronya! my seele’s no longer gf-less. so this is supposed to be bittersweet with ambiguous endings throughout but uh, my mind went elsewhere with most of them lmao. hopefully this makes sense; my writing’s pretty rusty. special thanks to pigeon from the teahouse server who came up with the title!

𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐲𝐚. a sheltered heiress who is secretly a thrill seeker. at night, she sneaks into an underground club where she hangs out with the only person who doesn’t treat her any differently despite her status. on very last visit, she reveals she’ll be married soon and her mother discovered her escapades, forbidding her from such activities. that doesn’t stop you from crashing the wedding and presenting a (fake) ring to object to the marriage, having you as her spouse instead.

𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐠. a tenant under your grandparents as well as an assistant of their small business. his aloof personality is intimidating at first, not saying much as he accompanies you around your grandparents’ residence, but there’s more to him in his eyes. his nightmares catch up with him the moment he falls for you, and now he has to repress it to keep you safe. the more he pushes away, the more he wants to yell for help, and you hate to come home with a guilty conscience.

𝐠𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐝. an estranged friend who has been serving the military, and is spending his off-duty at home. you haven’t seen him in years, so it is expected to start off awkwardly, but the two of you are glad to see each other again. besides reconnecting with friends and family, he wishes to resolve his biggest regret, being unable to confess his love for you. but maybe it should stay that way when he meets your fiancé, and all he can say is congratulations.

𝐣𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐮𝐚𝐧. a playful businessman who visits the bar just for his new favorite bartender. your coworker is gone for the entire summer, so you become the target of his flirting. at this point you’ve known the guy for a while, except he has a son who you’ve met at the bar, both terrible in acting and flirting. soon his infamous father arrives, not surprised that his son is there and is happy that he finally met you, his “partner”. perhaps you’ll await an explanation on your date.

𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨. a notorious thief who stole your precious belongings along with your dignity one fateful night. within this season, you’re set to finish your bucket list, however, thanks to a certain someone, there aren’t enough funds. speaking of which, he sees the nearest person and pulls you into an alleyway to hide from the police. recognizing each other, he offers to help you with your bucket list as a deal. not only did he steal your things, he stole your heart as well.

𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐞. a free spirit with a rebellious streak. she’s invited to the road trip, viewing it as an opportunity to assess her strength and explore more of the world. the beginning starts off rocky, her clashing with you about meticulous things and the others are trying their best to diffuse the situation. if the arguments teach you one thing, the girl is honest. the one thing she isn’t is when it has to do with her crush on you, hoping the arguments will come in handy.

𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐥. a fairly popular musician whose name you’ve never heard of until your friend drags you to attend her concert. forced to listen to her setlist before the big day, you slowly become a fan and are able to memorize some of the lyrics. while outside one day, you’re so in the moment that a stylish woman excitedly says she recognizes the music. the brief friendship results in her contact info and gratitude for your support. then you realize, you know who she is now.

Lilo and 3/3 by The Japanese House have just been doing something to me the past couple days, idk man.

I don't have a specific time frame in mind, but my idea was that this is sometime after the night elves secede and most of them go back to Kalimdor, Cathala and Tarinne included. I have a vague headcanon that I actually just checked and it's canon that ritualistic bathing in moonwells is a thing, so yay me for being a genius who knows everything I guess. Anyway as I was gonna say, I figure bathing in a moonwell is something most night elves do every couple of years or at least, like, once a decade, just as a way to feel closer to Elune and what have you *waves hands vaguely* Even besides that, moonwell water has very strong healing properties so I mean it's just benefits all around.

For the entire period of time from Teldrassil to secession (~7 or 8 years), the night elves in Stormwind only have access to one moonwell, which is all the way out in Duskwood and is a multi-day trek. Stormwind doesn't let any of the priestesses/druids make any new ones (or any proper shrines at all) in/near the city, and most of the land surrounding Stormwind City itself is farmland or owned by nobles who ALSO don't want moonwells on their property, so they're stuck with that one. Considering moonwells are one of the main types of shrines to Elune to pray/leave offerings at, this isn't super great for morale. The trip is expensive, dangerous, and even those who can afford it can't find the time. So it's a big relief to a lot of people when they can finally do so after returning to Kalimdor.

Tarinne is one of those people. Cathala is... not. Not really.

Even before Teldrassil, she wasn't the most devout. All that time on Pandaria, away from anyone else who worshiped any of her gods, wore away at her. By the time the mists parted, she was in a weird place where her kind of religion more closely resembled pandaren religion than anything night elven. Much less emphasis on gods (excluding the August Celestials, who interact with their followers a lot differently than Elune does, for example), and more emphasis on one's ancestors. That would be fine on its own, but it was just another thing that made her feel alienated among her own people. And then after Teldrassil, she (among others) felt Elune had betrayed or abandoned her in her darkest moment, so she stopped worshiping her altogether after that. But even years later, Cathala still carried a lot of guilt and doubt regarding that decision, and actually goes through ✨a Character Arc✨ regarding that while hunting Sylvanas, but that's something I want to save for a fic so that's all you get right now.

The end result is that she's in an even weirder spot by the time secession happens, still trying to figure out where she stands on this whole faith thing. So it's bittersweet when she can finally do this moonwell thing with Tarinne again, for the first time in years. Or maybe for the first time, period, I haven't quite decided.

She'll get it figured out though, Tarinne will make sure of that <3

Oooh, I wanna hear about your Legend (Past, was it?)! I don’t really know anything about him, so I guess I’m just curious what his story and personality are like as a whole! =D

Well, his story begins when he was born with pink hair. I headcanon that it is very rare for people to be born with unusual-colored hair, but that trait seems to run in Link's family (his uncle has purple hair). Having this trait is kind of like the albino version for a Hylian. He wasn't really made fun of but people did kind of avoided him growing up. But he had his loving uncle with him so he wasn't too upset.

His adventure started out when he was twelve, disobeying his uncle's orders of staying inside upon hearing Zelda's call for the knights to save her. Good thing too as he found his uncle dead in the castle well and is only up to Link to save her. The two hit it off immediately, with Zelda being the first person other than his family to verbally say that they liked his pink hair, so he kind of developed a bit of a crush, and more of a reason to help her.

Of course, he changed when he first entered the dark world without a moon pearl. He transformed into his bunny form (which I shall keep a secret for now hehe) which made his sideburns grow longer (for a reason) and gave him bunny teeth. He became embarrassed of his buck teeth and stopped talking and eating in front of people since then.

It took him a year to complete his adventure in ALTTP. I'm going with the more-angsty-but-narratively-satisfying ending where both the king and his uncle had died, resulting in Zelda being crowned queen at only thirteen years old. Link stayed close and tried to help out whenever he can, but it was very apparent that he was not welcome since he was only a child. Two years pass and he was accepted to seek out training from masters beyond the sea, but of course on his voyage home he got caught in a storm and was stranded upon a strange island.

At the end of it all, Link felt very bittersweet about the ending of his Koholit adventure. He would miss very dearly the people he had met, but the Windfish was awake and Link was now able to have a new fresh perspective on things. He values life now. Sure, he would miss her more than others, but she was happy in her life, and even more happy now her dream came true.

Upon coming home, he went back to his previous life as an apple farmer (a la ALTTP manga), but he still stops by and makes sure the princess is okay every once and a while.

And eventually, if I ever get around to writing the Links-meet AU, afterwards he gets together with Zelda and they have a family <3 (but that leads to a very angsty outcome upon Link hehehe)

For the Character ask game: Alina

Yay!! Thank you, I’d love to rave about Alina right about now.

One aspect I love about them: I love Alina’s compassion and understanding. She stuck by Mal her entire life. She understood Genya and befriended her even after being betrayed by her. She accepted Zoya as an ally after their rough start. She knew The Darkling was wrong and perhaps past redemption, but she still felt some compassion toward his suffering and I love her for that.

One aspect I wish people knew about them: She is so inherently flawed, and that’s a good thing! She is so caring and good at forgiving people but she does not always see their point of view before being fed it. She falls into the trap of temptation. She loves her powers which is not inherently bad, but causes her to make choices she might otherwise not. Alina is such a ball of sunshine at times, but the other side of that coin is sometimes being naive. And I love her for all of this!!! She learns and grows and the journey is so satisfying. Her ending, though bittersweet, is very much earned.

One headcanon I have about them: My headcanon is that she is such an attention whore that all of her loved ones refuse to let her near them while they are working asdfhjk. It’s not necessarily that she wants to be the center of attention, but more that she wants to feel loved and love them in return and sometimes her friends are like ???? I AM BUSY ma’am, please stop trying to hold my hand for two seconds.

One character I love seeing them interact with: trying hard not to make everything about my ship so, I actually love her dynamic with Nikolai so much! The golden retriever chaos is unmatched when they are together. I think they are so alike in many ways, and bring out so much softness in each other. I also think they should not be left alone without supervision so Zoya and Mal take turns on babysitting duty and pretend to be annoyed but they find it hilarious.

One character I wish they would interact with more: I love the girl gang and I would specifically like to see more of Alina and Zoya being besties! They are different in ways where they sometimes rub each other the wrong way but I love it for that reason. They’d help each other out of their shells in fun ways.

One headcanon that involves them and one other character: Okay finally to Malina, my headcanon is that when they sleep Alina is the big spoon. Every morning at the crack of dawn soldier man Mal is awake but Alina is groaning at him and not letting go of him when he tries to get up out of bed. Once she kept him there until mid morning when they hear the sounds of little kids causing chaos and she tries to be more of a morning person after that. Ironically the sun saint never becomes a morning person.

Vanessa wahhh!!!!! Sometimes I feel like if put to much off myself Into her because that's what usually happens when I love a character too much. I feel like another reason Vanessa doesn't usually ask for help is because whenever she did ask for it it just ended fricking her over.

Like growing up 4 me asking for help is either a life or death sentence. Like idk probably culture shit but asking for help Is a sign of weakness and if you can't immediately do something you're a failure. Your value is how useful you are and probably why Vanessa is reluctantly obeying Glitchtrap like that shit is ingrained with you. It doesn't go away! Even after she gets to be free from their control asking for help is still to hard for her.

Vanessa after sb probably overwokrs herself because now she has things to worry about and also like mouths to feed. She has to be useful she has to. Why else would she be allowed to live and like thankfully she learns it's OK to rely on others. She learns it's ok to ask for help it's not a burden.

I like to think they did. Why because I love bittersweet endings a lot. Charlie thinking she could save them by giving them another chance at life. Yet they remained trapped in those dingy suits forced to stay there and do the same things over and over and over again. I'm sure some of them were bitter with what she did.

They're all kids after all sometimes they just see the black and white and not the grey off it all. But before their tension they were probably the closest friends ever. I think they all drew alot and even made characters roleplaying with eachother!! Projecting hehehe my irls and I would draw and self insert eachother into different media. I think they'd do the same!

Leaving her to rot in the basement and letting Micheal go in his place instead like why did you do that why why why she likes to play pretend.

In the end maybe she pretended to much that her father loved her so much and that's why she has to be good. He must've left her down there because she went to visit baby without his permission like ughhh 😭😭😭😭 The fact she got kicked out of Ennard too like she's still bossy and in charge and I just love that cuz we got a sick ass fnaf design. But also since the funtimes have their own AI maybe being trapped down there for so long with her believing her fantasies and trusting her to go into Micheal before being ejected out from him. They ended up hating her because they wanted to kill and kidnap kids cuz off what Willy wrote in their AI

So she's just left alone again after having the people she spent her entire childhood with leave her because unlike people they're not like her. 🦷 ⇢ share some personal wisdom or a life hack you swear on ok, writing-related life hacks I've tried to make everyday practice this year: - writing every single day (I track it in my habit planner along with my silly little duolinguo lessons and daily step counts). I read stephen king's 'on writing' recently and he recommends doing 2000 words a day, so I'm trying to build up to that, but at the moment I'm mostly just doing whatever writing I can - even if it's just bashing stuff into the notes app on my phone before I fall asleep. - when I first write something I just vomit it all out into a pages document, then when I want to polish it up, I open a new document on the other side of the screen and start copying it over, typing word by word - this means I can correct and shuffle around as I go, I've found it really helps with flow and pacing. - this is going to make me sound like a huge nerd, but I've also started carrying around a vocab book. it's a lil pocket sized notebook where, if I come across a word I like/hadn't heard before, I can note down the definition. then when I'm looking for inspiration I can have a flip through my notes.

🔪 ⇢ what's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project? not necessarily a weird topic, per se, but the other month I was looking up synonyms but kept mixing up my words and typing 'symptom' into duckduckgo instead. so my search history for a solid week was like 'happy symptom', 'tired symptom' - and I wouldn't clock the typo each time until I wondered why all the results were from the nhs or webmd 🫠

🍄 ⇢ share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings I have a lot of reylo headcanons, but the one I keep going back to is the idea that rey can be just as socially isolated as kylo is, and how their shared but different experiences of loneliness and awkwardness drive their relationship (I like my bittersweet slow burns) I also had a silly headcanon for one of my own fics: it was a very angsty, pining, enemies-to-lovers-to-enemies story told exclusively from rey's pov, and there was a scene where kylo shows up through the force bond with a bad injury, which she tries to patch up, but he won't tell her anything about it. which was the whole point of the scene - it was really just a way of conveying a breakdown in their relationship. but I thought that I really needed to know myself how he got that injury even if it wasn't disclosed in the fic. so I came up with an elaborately comic & slapstick backstory where general hux got so bored in a first order meeting that he went feral and stabbed kylo, because we've all been in work meetings like that, I think. unfortunately I was so amused by this idea that it impacted my writing of the actual scene.

So guess who got to keep her account! I'm glad I can sort of start over with you - I think you're cool. I do have a serious headcannon question for you - what does genesis like to do in his free time, besides reading Loveless?

YAY! Good to see you, hope you enjoy your stay on this hellsite (affectionate). You get two headcanons for the price of one!

First, the one you didn't ask for but is actually still relevant: my take on Genesis, be it for RP here or when I'm writing fanfic over on @ladykf-writes, is that Loveless is not actually his favorite book. His favorite books at any given time are usually either nonfiction dealing with myths and magic, or anthologies of poems or short stories of varying genres. He's not a fan of horror/gore/grimdark because he is a SOLDIER who has seen war since the tender age of 15 and if he wants reasons to be horrified and depressed he can just think a little more about what he sees at work, so likewise he's careful with the unhappy/bittersweet endings.

The whole Loveless reputation came about because as a newly minted First he was persuaded to act in one of the plays in Midgar, and it's also a very quotable play, as it has a poem that comes with the book (as you can guess, since the book he's holding in canon is far too thick to just be the poetry he quotes. It's much more likely that there's a verse at the beginning of each act of the book, but actual chapters follow on theme.) And of course, once he degraded he got hyperfixated on it as a self-fulfilling prophecy.

In answer to your actual question, though, Genesis does of course love to read, and really enjoys cooking when he has the time - though he's far more bound to recipes than an instinctive chef when baking/cooking. The single exception is dealing with meat on a grill or in a pan; he's never needed instruction for that and is instead remarkably intuitive. He also plays the keyboard and sings, as well as periodically composing his own music.

On an academic bent, he studies materia and magic, convinced there is far more to it than what is publically known, and has written academic papers on related subjects that... well, like Lucrecia and Grimoire's work on WEAPONs, Genesis' work on magic is only taken seriously by a few people - usually those who have witnessed him in action and are no longer able to deny he's on track to something.

He never thought he'd allow himself to fall in love. Least of all with someone not Elven. It's surprising and it's a nice feeling, but he can't be selfish. Not with his true goals in sight.

The smile is affectionate but also secretive because there are many, many things you don't know about him. The smile leaves when you continue to confess your feelings to him.

"you love me? are you sure?" Now he's asking the question. He's hoping you change your mind, realize that this is a mistake. No matter what he may feel, he can't allow himself to be attached.

It's very bittersweet. He is glad to know his feelings are shared, but there's still so much you don't know. He needs time to think. He's sorry he can't give you an answer now, but he needs time.

Ok, I finished episode 141 of campaign 2 of Critical Role. There be spoilers below.

First off, I cried when Matt started crying at the end. And everyone was crying and you could feel the love everybody had for each other. It was beautiful and sweet and ugh.

Ok, Trent got the perfect ending. That motherfucker didn't deserve to be seen as this mastermind of a villain or as a ruthless mage devoted to the ideals he espoused at any cost. Fuck that guy. Also, holy fuck seeing Caduceus angry. Damn.

I'm really happy that everybody got closure. Jester and Fjord adventuring with their crew and Vandren is awesome. I also like to think that Artagan pops in from time to time and is like, hey wanna see a place? And Jester is like fuck yeah, grabbing Fjord's hand and bamfing away even while he's trying to ask questions.

Also Fjord. He's grown into the man he wanted to be, not who he thought others thought he should he. He's grown in confidence, just like all the rest of them. And it was wonderful he got to see Vandren again, got some answers, and got to sail with him again. He has a home now that nobody can take away from him.

Beau and Yasha had beautiful endings. Seeing Beau grow from the angry, closed off woman into the Expositor and significant other she became was great. And she didn't lose her personality along the way. She can still be abrasive, still a bit of an asshole. But underneath it, she is kind, compassionate, and just. The same can be said for Yasha. Kingsley calling her Love when he was first resurrected is so accurate. Yasha is love incarnate and I'm so happy she has someone to love who loves her in return. And getting closure with Zuala, saying goodbye and giving her the flowers 🥺

I'm happy Veth survived and made it home. She's grown so much as a person, is more confident and sure of herself. She knows her worth now, something I think Yeza might have seen all along, even if he didn't know everything she was capable of. I also love the idea of a baby adventurer summer camp. I want all of the m9 to be guest counselors hehe.

Caduceus also got to go home and that was beautiful. I think so many adventuring stories focus on leaving and changing and moving away from where you started. It's nice to see one where the character grows and changes but still does go back home.

Okay, I have to be honest. Kingsley grew on me. I realized, in the day since I watched the first half, that we really didn't get Molly back. The body might have been healed and resurrected, the soul shard brought back, but it's not Molly. And, thinking back on it, I should have expected that. Taliesin has made it clear that he considered Molly gone. Even when Caduceus had the chance to res him, he chose not to. So it makes sense, in hindsight, for Kingsley to exist. Yes, maybe he was Molly. And I like the idea of Kingsley calling Molly his brother. But that's not who came back. He's enough like Molly for it to be bittersweet but different enough that I can appreciate him for himself. (Also I have a type when it comes to fictional characters)

And last, because he's my favorite, Caleb. It feels rather appropriate that he and Beau worked to take down Trent and, eventually, the rest of the Assembly. Working towards the better future he was always taught to work for, to help the Empire he was raised to have loyalty to. He is the kind of man who should be teaching the next generations of mages. For so many reasons. It's the perfect place for him. Also, I'm thrilled he and Essek did indeed get together. There's something beautiful in two wounded, lonely people finding love and acceptance in each other. And when they went to Aeor and decided not to change the past, I was so proud of them. Though, I have to admit, I think Caleb's plan was pretty damn good in regards to not changing the timeline a whole lot. But even one life creates ripples, two even more. And though I, like Liam, love me some angst, I also like to have it end in fluff. So I like to think that, when thinks get too dangerous for Essek and his illusions and other identities fails, he uses the transformation spell. I think that these two wizards learning their limits and not changing the past is very good but changing your situation in the present is perfectly acceptable. I could see Essek choosing to become a half elf or human in order to hide. Because who would expect him to give up centuries of life, on the run as it may be, for much shorter decades? (Also lifespan angst makes me sad) But Liam and Matt told a beautiful story and I can't fault them for it. I just like to imagine a slightly different set of circumstances that is happier for me (yay headcanons) Though I'm still secretly thinking that transformation spell is gonna come into play in a one shot in the future.

I also have questions. Well, one major one. Was Matt throwing in a campaign 3 plot hook with Kingsley's story and seeing the black chains breaking and hearing a primal scream before he got resurrected? Because that immediately screamed Tharizdun to me but none of the rest of the cast reacted. I even looked specifically at Marisha because she was putting all the dots together earlier but she didn't seem to react. Am I reading too much into it thinking it was a reference to Tharizdun and not just the city being freed?

Overall, it was lovely. A beautiful ending that made me cry. I've been so happy to nerd out with these nerdy ass voice actors about their dnd characters. I can't wait to see what comes next
