#if it's not clear this is me doodling human versions of the promo kids lmao #my art #scribbles #v #splatoon #if anyone is interested in thoughts:#3 promos have mostly natural hair but dye or bleach ends for subtle style. hiroooo also has beads in place of suction cups and at the ends #veronika has a bandage over their face btw and the purple tips are from hiroooo's dye #I was thinking about school kids primarily with 1 promo kid #so mainly natural hair color with a few rebellious streaks of color #orange inkling girl also has 2 pigtails from the back that she either has over her shoulders or brings to the front yor spyxfamily style #also choppy sidebangs I imagine she cut herself #she also has moles and blue boy as freckles #2 characters were definitely the hardest because I draw them the least objectively #I think since they're supposed to be the 'trendy flashy stylish' types they can have near full dye jobs that have fried their hair #their eyemask substitutes are just just bits of graphic makeup in my vision lmao #apologies for the rambles I've just been sitting on human designs for a bit and it literally just clicked tonight

O, my Icarus...

Stanford is desperate. He has tried every method possible to try and rid himself of Bill, and he's got nothing to show for all his efforts but more scars and less sleep.

His head is killing him. Another consequence of his many attempts to just live. Yes. He yearned to live, because he was dying. Dying in the hands of his own muse. Was it so wrong of him to want to live? To fear death? Perhaps Stanford was selfish; a hypocrite, to avoid the same death that had so soon and so unfairly claimed his friend and his brother, but he was only a man.

Stanford knew he didn't stitch his wound right, he could feel it. He could feel the cold nails and bolts dig into his head; his scalp pulled taught over his newly metal plated skull to cover the holes. He felt something rattle when he moved. Perhaps he should have welded the metal plate into his head instead.

Project Mentem did not react well to his open skull and neither did the poorly screwed metal plate in his head.

#Astral projecting my chronic headaches onto Ford by making it part of his lore.#He is now forever stuck with a terrible terrible headache that just won't leave.#Remember kids- drilling metal plates into your skull is not the best solution to getting rid of your ex! Even if said ex is Bill.#Not going to lie- when I first included the metal plate lore into the AU I had no idea that in canon Ford got it AFTER he went #through the portal #So I just assumed this man somehow survived auto brain surgery BY HIMSELF in canon and accepted it as just insane plot armor 💀💀#But anyways- in this AU he actually does drill it in himself and doesn't die.
