Halsin was absolutely fascinated by meeting a Dragonborn with such a unique scale pattern

Not to mention resistance to both heat and cold

At the first look he thought Bismuth looked absolutely ravishing, especially when he would sit without his shirt under the moonlight

The way his gorgeous scales glistened in the pale light set Halsin's heart fluttering

But he wouldn't want to pursue anything until after the Shadow Curse was dealt with

Once Thariel was rescued, Halsin could begin to let himself relax. He would begin speaking with Bismuth, the two learning about one another

While Halsin would still be worried about Thariel, he couldn't help himself. He'd already feel himself beginning to fall in love

As Halsin began casually hanging out with the camp, he took the similar route Karlach did by testing Bismuth's strength

While he's studied dragons and dragonborns, Halsin obviously was never able to observe them in the wild other than a rare glimpse as they soared overhead

Halsin would whittle things for Bismuth, ducks and ornaments and such. His proudest achievement was whittling a small statue of a dragon curled up next to a bear, both completely at peace

Bismuth, in turn, began gathering books on forestry so that he could talk with Halsin about the Oak Father's creations

Their love language is Halsin helping to brush Bismuth's scales while Bismuth tells Halsin about an interesting specimen of butterfly he saw that morning, one with unusual wing patterns that suggested a species he hadn't yet encountered

Halsin would give facts about the butterfly type as he brushed, letting Bismuth be soothed by both the brush and the pleasing sound of his voice

During colder months Halsin was very open to shifting into a bear to recreate the cuddle statue with Bismuth

That's where they got their little ship name from, it would be a pet name Halsin would think up while snuggling the dragonborn

During the cold winter nights where the wind howled too much to allow sleep, Halsin would pick up a book, settle in his tent, and read Bismuth to sleep. They would swap who read to whom depending on who was more tired

If they both were tired, they alternated per chapter

HELLO! I Just wanna apologize to all my readers who read “Well…We’re Getting There”. I’m not ending the book, I’m just here to say chapters will take longer to come out.

Steven Universe oneshot request! [Not a werewolf one, I promise!] Lapis tries fusing with the other gems [Garnet (could be called Moonstone), Peridot, etc.] to overcome her PTSD from fusing into Malachite.

Interesting! Something I wished happened (or at least fuse with Steven).

Also no worries! I was just curious why so many werewolf/animal spirit requests. Thought I was missing something haha.

Garnet:

Basically helped her like she did with Stevonnie, through meditation and talking about balance.

Gem weapon is gauntlets that can freeze and heat up water and use it as part of the weapon.

Amethyst:

Helped her realize fusion doesn’t have to be all about power, and to not let it over take you to the point you need it to feel like such.

Gem weapon is an ice spike ball and chain bull whip.

Pearl:

Helped similar to Amethyst, but also adds of how a good balance of a fusion feels, how it’s meant to be. Also is the first to fuse with Lapis after Steven due to a similar dance style.

Gen weapon is a ice battle spear that can sprout water wings to fly in the air.

Steven:

Is obviously the first gem she’s most comfortable with fusing with and will.

Gem weapon is a water chainsaw (Steven’s shield being the saw part).

Peridot:

Understands Lapis’s uncomfortableness with fusion. Not the same circumstances, but the feeling.

Gem weapon is a metal water armor that extends spikes of ice, steam, or just water out.

Bismuth:

No hard feelings for the proofing at the war. Honestly took Bismuth awhile to recognize Lapis as the one she poofed, as she kinda was ‘poof first think later’ back then. Still is there to listen on any fears of fusion and whatever else.

Gem weapon is a giant hammer of ice that can turn to fire with just a thought.

Steven Universe Future Futures

Now that Steven Universe Future is over, I'm proud to give my headcanons for what I see for each characters future.

Steven- After his long road trip across America to see the sites, Steven ultimately moves back to Beach City as he felt that was were he was most at home. But instead of moving back in with the Gems, he moved into a nice little house Bismuth and the other Gems helped build. For work, he took over Lars 's space bakery and remade it into a cozy café called The Galaxy Cafe where humans and Gems alike come for a nice chat and a cup of coffee. He and Connie eventually marry and have a daughter named Lisa Pinkrose Universe.

Connie- After graduating college with a degree in political science and moving in with Steven, Connie started working for the office of mayor in Beach City. After a few years of hard work, she eventually became mayor of the town and rumor has it, she's considering running for senator.

Greg- (Greg's relationship is inspired by a story written by @mandareeboo.) While his son was away from Beach City, Greg started a relationship with Sadie's mom, Barb and eventually the two of them got hitched. Soon after, Greg decided to focus on his management career and the two of them moved to Empire City where Greg started up his own music management business Universal Music. But he still makes time to drive down to Beach City and see his son, daughter in law, and granddaughter.

Garnet- Garnet comes to use her powers of both emotional understanding and future vision to become a relationship advisor to the people and Gems of Beach City. She also takes the occasional wedding planning job for happy couples shes helped.

Amethyst- Amethyst worked with Mr Smiley to help set up the special Gem Wrestling Federation in Beach city. She helps manage a number of Gem wrestlers in Beach City including her sister Jasper or as shes known in the ring "The Orange Wild Lion".

Pearl - Pearl opened up a special combat training school called the Sword and Shield Academy of Martial Studies. She teaches her students the art of combat as a way of helping them reach their full potential and gain confidence in themselves.

Peridot & Lapis - The two of them build a new barn and start a buisness of selling fruit and plants that they grow. They spend their days tending to their crops and just being together.

Bismuth - Bismuth starts her own company constructing everything from buildings to weapons to wedding armors. Her motto is " Your Bismuth is our pleasure ". After a period of dating, she and Pearl end up getting married

Extra: Spinel- Spinel ends up meeting Volleyball while on Earth and the two of them end up in a relationship. She then starts to often visits Little Homeworld to see her and puts on performances for Beach City kids.
