hello! i wanted to ask you something. i always thought of myself as straight, but a while ago i developed a crush on this girl, and i was super confused because i’ve never thought of girls that way. i’ve looked at boys and thought they were attractive, but never for girls. i never looked at a random girl on the street and thought, ‘oh she’s cute.’ but i got a crush on this girl in my class??? and i know i’m not demi because that girl was never close to me. can i have some advice?

So this is way more common than you realise. You’re probably bi with a preference for males. Like I always say being bisexual isn’t a 50/50 split down the middle. You can have any type of attraction ratio to identify as bi as long as you’re attracted to two genders.

Being demiromantic or Demisexual doesn’t necessary have much to do with the gender of the person more so to do with in what way you’re attracted to them.

A demiromantic would be a person who is romantically attracted to somebody after getting to know them after a while and a demisexual person is somebody who experiences sexual attracted after getting to know someone deeply after a while.

LGBT+ Group ?

Hi Everyone,

We now have a substantial amount of followers that have joined our page. All identities, from all countries, from different backgrounds.

Since we get quite a lot of similar questions and questions about finding others with similar identities, would any of you be interested in start a group here on tumblr?

Of course it would be an all inclusive group, all LGBT+ identities would be welcome. It could be a safe place for people to talk about LGBT+ issues, struggles and current events along with topics such as BLM and much more. It could be an opportunity for LGBT+ people to mix and make friendships if they don’t quite have the facilities in their area or for people who aren’t out yet. Or if possible it could be a place for others to offer advice or their experiences.

As much as possible I would monitor the group (if anyone else would be interested as moderator you can let me know)

I’m not quite sure about the age range but if anyone is interested they can make any suggestions below or DM our page.

Nothing is set in stone of course so I’ll just wait for the response from this post and we can go from there!

I have made a bisexual discord made to help fellow bisexuals understanding their sexuality, and discussing issues in the bisexual community. This discord is also welcome for discussing bisexual stories, tips, advice, and anything else you feel is worth sharing :)
