Today is Rornir's name day! His nameday is the day I physically made him in game, so I could keep track of how long I've had the character. So he's one year old! He's 177 in Eitherys and has never really celebrated his nameday. this year was different. Between saving the world (and all of creation), marrying his soul mate and true love, and being surrounded by amasing people he loves. He's incredibly thankful for the people in his life. Today is a day for him to appreciate those in his life. And thank you to all of you for welcoming him (and me) into your feeds!

this is a reminder for me to write something about how dany never really has . . . a good nameday growing up. and even now, she just kind of ignores her nameday?? same for birthdays in canon and other aus/verses. viserys never prioritized her nameday, and often, it was overshadowed by rhaella's death. at first, viserys was distracted and very visibly nursing his grief, but following the selling of rhaella's crown, he became antagonistic toward dany, most predictably on her nameday to the point that she would just . . . pray he forgot. so sometimes, even now, it really does just slip her mind.

Meiko rarely celebrated her own nameday, but others'? She always went out of her way for those!

"Aye, lass," Meiko carried in a giant tomato Mandragora plushie and set it down on Selena's bed in her room in their Free Company. "Nameday gift from me an' Tataru! Hope you can make room for this guy."

"...Hm?" Hearing the door open, Selena sets her quill down on her desk and turns to see the Viera carry the largest tomato Mandragora plushie she has ever seen through the door and plopped onto her bed. Eyes wide in surprise, laughter escapes her.

"D-dear Deliora, Meiko!" Wondering where the plushie came from, the keybearer draws a blank, but, after hearing Tataru's name, the keybearer realized that it had to be commissioned.

Giggling, Selena stands up to walk over and inspect the plush. She immediately recognizes the Lalafell receptionist's loving and masterful stitchwork. She gently pats the top of the tomato Mandragora's head.

"Thank you! I love it!" With the biggest smile on her face, the keybearer hugs Meiko, "I'll have to stop by Mor Dhona, and give Tataru my thanks as well."
