Here are the designs for Bonnie, Clemont, and Serena in my post-canon fanfic, Restarting At Letter A! It takes place 3 to 3 1/2 years after the Kalos Crisis, and it can be read here!

I may make detailed pages for each of them, one day. In the meantime… Design notes under the cut!

Bonnie:

The Friend Ball hat is a birthday gift from Ash! It says “Champ in the making” on the inside of the cap.

The Zygarde skirt is also a birthday gift, from Valerie!

Not pictured, but when she wears her bag (gift from Ramos), its shoulder strap and her suspenders make a sideways Z.

Serena helped her put together the rest of the outfit.

Her hair’s length is inspired by Serena.

Additionally, she has a ponytail coming through the back, and it is vaguely lightning bold shaped.

Clemont:

Bonnie put the patches on his legs because she wanted to learn to sew, thanks to Serena’s influence.

Patches are: Luxray tail stars, Heliolisk frills, high voltage road sign, trans flag (color picked from his official game art lol), and a cherri berry.

His hair is shorter now (always tie your long hair back when in a hazardous work space).

Yes all the buttons have specific purposes. His bag has been upgraded to have two Aipom Arms (Ambipom). I’ll release the chart with the character page.

Voltage Badge because he’s a proud gym leader.

Serena:

Blue ribbon from Ash.

She is super duper fashionable and slay.

Also, she’s 5,8”, just fyi

The flowers embroidered on her coat have multiple meanings. Pink tulips for feminism, gladiolus for strength of character, etc etc. The sunflower and daisies are for Clemont and Bonnie.

She has the same bracelet she had as part of her casual outfit in Journeys, inspired by Aria. The blue gemstone on her necklace is from the bejeweled belt she wore for Hoenn’s contest lives.

Well it's always been my mom, my two brothers, and myself. The rest of my family actually all live in Driftveil but I've never been, they always came to us for visits, I've mentioned my uncle a few times and both him and his wife(my aunt) actually do work in chargestone cave, my grandma lives with them too! She is uh, more on the religious side so I don't really talk to her..

Anyway! Main family!

Dad-N/A

Mom-She never stayed in one place growing up so I don't exactly know where she was born, never really asked though either, but she had us all in Virbank! When my brothers and I were toddlers/a baby she worked at the pokemon gym that also operated as a underground club, as a waitress. As we got bigger though she needed more money so she went back to school for a bit so she could get work as a nurse, and she is still a nurse to this day, she never went on a journey but she does have two pokemon which is a Luxray named Boots and an Audino named Izzy. In recent years her and me haven't gotten along in the most polite way to put it, but in certain moments when things FEEL normal we have a small chit-chat over video call.

Brother David- I'm the oldest but David is right behind me with being only 13 months apart, even when Kaden was born it was always just me and David when it came to daycare and school. I was a hyperactive kid but he leveled me out being a lot more calmer, turns out he was a real smart kid too because when we got a bit older he had top grades and became real popular with our peers in our grade. Then the time for our journeys came along and while I already had Smokey and Goldie, he only took the gift our uncle gave us(another sinnoh starter) which was a piplup at the time, he didn't give it a name..I didn't see him for a long time after that, we called each other during both our journeys(you guys already know mine didn't last long) but I didn't see him PHYSICALLY again until my 18th birthday because his was going to be next month. He looked a lot different and he carried himself differently, he became quiet, aloof, and had an intimidating aura. We challenged each other to a battle for old times sake it didn't..FEEL like a battle though, he completely stomped me out with his team(Empoleon, Lucario, Magmortar, Electivire, and Mandibuzz) and it..it hurt. There was no letting up, no spoken words on his side, he just let his pokemon do as they pleased each round and it's always a painful memory to remember how Lady got tossed right into the side of a tree, I got into a big screaming match with him afterwards that kinda ruined the whole party and it just..it made me feel like I lost him as a brother. He stuck around for his birthday, left again, and didn't come back until his 21st birthday. We didn't really exchange words and his final pokemon on the team was Druddigon, haven't seen or spoken to him since.

Kaden-my best friend and youngest brother! He is 20 years old and kinda lives his life how he wants, just like me he went on his journey but stopped short because he didn't feel like it was for him, he stopped at Nimbasa where he met some of his now really good friends. They go traveling all over the world just having fun, I have my own gripes about it but in the end it's his life. ANYWAY he's been there for me since he was a kid, he was excited to see my brother and I off for our adventures and was still there for me when I came back home kinda depressed over the fact I gave up, I did the same thing for him when he went off with Oshawott. He updated me on his wins, losses, the pokemon he caught, he even has a shiny like me! His team consists of Samurott, Leavanny, shiny Azumarill, Simisear, Amaura, and Aipom(the last two from his visits to Kalos and Hoenn) he's grown up to be a thrill loving, clever, and down to earth person who still manages to annoy me to the point of a busting a blood vessel..he's my favorite person.

This is probably A LOT more than what you were asking for, but you did say overview/summaries so I gave all I could without going over the top! Plus this got me out of giving Kaden an explanation about my stitches :D

There is someone on Calems back, clinging on like a wild Aipom, nuzzling into his neck, and hugging him tighter than every before as he yelled. “Happy Birthday!!!! Happy birthday Calem! You’re older! Happy Birthday!” He was giving his affections for now.

He had stuff planned later.

The sudden shift in weight would probably send weaker people hurtling towards the ground, but Calem wasn't just anyone. Besides, he was used to it by now.

Okay, update on the S.S made from giving bugs various foods. Not a lot of them like cinnamon, good to know! No string churros for the moment. At least none that I don’t have to add flavoring to myself.

Beans and seeds are hit and miss. Good news, some of them like chocolate (er, the raw ingredients that make chocolate I mean. can’t give them the processed stuff) so that’s on the menu! Bad news, no coffee.

Berries are completely fine and sweeter berries are a big hit! I can even give them pokeblocks or poffins and it will retain a little bit of the flavor. So in theory, birthday cake flavored S.S is possible.

Now not too surprising, for spider pokemon, their silk is not flavored no matter what I feed them. Makes sense. Their silk is created from a specialized organ from their backside, no link to their digestive system at all. (though the jurry is out on species that can produce silk from their mouths like other bug types) Still, I’m more than happy to get them in on the snack craze, if only because they’re so happy to try all these new foods I’m cooking up.

Weirdly enough, non-bug species are showing up to sample the S.S dishes I was churning out. Started with some curious Aipom and kept spreading from there... Neat!

All in all, the pokemon are pretty happy with things and I’m a huge hit around lunch time!

Mini Gift

It’s @mrnerdling‘s birthday, and I wrote up a longer story for the day. However, I also wanted to write a small thing based on another suggested pairing! So, I did, and it’s sloppy, but I tried to cram it in within like...I dunno, four hours between research and writing.

Anyway, I know extremely little about Pokémon Unite, so it’s going to be rather choppy and probably have nothing to do with the game. (I didn’t even include evolutions because that hurt my brain to consider evolving back and forth, which I think they do in Digimon, but not Pokémon.) But, hey, it was worth a shot, and I experimented.

Just a cute fic to feature some ship teasing that he should enjoy. And I hope you do too!

Four trainers joined together at the Aeos Island team rooms. While they carried on discussing strategies for their upcoming practice, they sent out their current selected Pokémon, allowing them to gather together while their trainers continued planning.

 Lucario folded his arms and surveyed his team, noting his usual companions in Cinderace and Slowbro. He tilted his head at the appearance of Blissey, a newcomer to the team and the island overall.

 “Huh, first of our team newcomers.” Lucario nodded. “Welcome aboard, Blissey! My trainer is the team captain, so I try my best to reflect her efforts.”

 “Oh, thanks for the welcome!” Blissey bowed her head and smiled. “It’s going to be fun getting to join everyone.” She blinked and blankly stared at the group. “To be honest though, I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing.”

 “Me neither,” mumbled Slowbro.

 “But…you’re already on this team.”

 “…I am?”

 “Don’t worry, Slowbro’ll come to life in a little while.” Cinderace rubbed his nose and smirked to Blissey. “Name’s Cinderace, and I’m part of this team too. Our trainers tried to match the variety in roles among Pokémon for this island.” He pointed at the egg in Blissey’s hands. “You’re a healer, right?”

 “Normally, yes.”

 “Right, so there are a few different types of roles for each of us,” went over Lucario. “Since you have a focus on healing, that makes you our team’s new Support member. Slowbro can make strong blocks, so he’s our team Defender.” He pointed at Cinderace. “Since he’s fiery and likes to battle, Cinderace is our Attacker.” Lucario rubbed behind his head. “We’re supposed to have someone that’s quick around the field, who is the team Speedster. I suppose you’ll meet him later.” Lucario shrugged. “As someone that tries to cover multiple roles in one, I do my best to be the All-Around type on our team.”

 “Wow.” Blissey brightly smiled. “This already sounds complicated. I love it!”

 “It takes a bit, but you’ll get into it after a few rounds,” offered Cinderace. “Since we’re just practicing today, though, I don’t imagine it’ll be too rough on you.” He stretched and winked to her. “Basically, we just need to worry about scoring more points than the other team, and that’s the idea of the game.”

 “Each role helps determine how well we perform,” brought up Lucario. “So, with that, we’ll let the rest get resolved on the field.”

 “Ooh, my trainer is calling me over that way,” pointed out Blissey. “What do we do by the benches?”

 “…Wait for your turn to practice, I guess,” determined Cinderace, glancing at Lucario who shrugged.

 “Neat!” Blissey wandered off from the group. “I still don’t get any of this!”

 “Well, waiting won’t help much,” mumbled Cinderace. “…Huh. Hey, Slowbro, they’re calling you over too.”

 “…Who?”

 “Your trainer, knucklehead.”

 “Oh, ok.” Slowbro blinked and then slowly waddled down the same direction that Blissey had gone in.

 “Guess they want to focus on offensive plays first,” suggested Cinderace. “If those two are sitting on the sidelines, that means it’s you, me, and whoever the newbie is when they get jump in.”

 “That makes sense, since we’ll need to learn covering the field.” Lucario tapped on his chin and nodded. “Ok, so, practices today are mostly relying on us getting Aeos Energy to score points. If we’re doing some offense training to start, that’s the main goal to focus on.”

 “Are we just going on the field as is?”

 “Yep, going right into it.”

 “Huh, should be fun.” Cinderace grinned and lifted a thumb up to Lucario. “Want to see who can score the most points between us two? New guy will probably figure it out and join in.”

 “We do need to work on strategies too.”

 “Where’s the fun if we’re only working and not bringing out the best of each other?” Cinderace slid closer to Lucario, patting his head and nudging him. “Come on, huh? Let’s have some fun with this!”

 “Well…it is technically part of our exercises, tallying high scores—”

 “Aha, knew you’d see it my way!”

 “Just don’t get too carried away,” requested Lucario. He frowned and looked over as Blissey tried talking with Slowbro, who vacantly stared off around the meeting room. “Last time, you knocked Slowbro too hard on the head, and now he seems like he’s back to basics.” Lucario lowered his eyes as he watched Slowbro drool, while Blissey chattered on. “…Or worse, actually.”

 “Coach, you’re thinking way too hard.”

 “Don’t call me that.”

 “Why not? You basically are!” Cinderace jogged in place, getting his feet warmed up. “Going to roll some heads on the field and get the highest scores like you wouldn’t believe!”

 “Do you ever turn over the competitor in you?”

 “Nope!”

 “Well, that does help us.” Lucario shrugged and smiled. “Come on, let’s get ourselves ready.”

 “You’re so cute when you’ve got a big work ethic going,” teased Cinderace, leaning over Lucario’s head.

 “Get off.”

 “Make me.”

 After chasing his teammate to the practice field, Lucario lined up with Cinderace at the starting gate. Their trainers readied their supply of Aeos Island balls, ready to capture the wild Pokémon that their partners battled against. The two trainers were joined by a third, who hurriedly sent their choice to the field as they set the practice timer.

 However, the purple gates opened, and Lucario raced off alongside Cinderace.

 “Try to keep up, Luca!”

 “Don’t call me that either!”

 Laughing, Cinderace hurried up the northern route, while Lucario traveled down the southern side. Kicking streams of fire and sliding past his opponents, Cinderace swept at the wild Aipom and Audino. His trainer from the sidelines collected Aeos Energy from the capture.

 “Nice and easy,” cheered Cinderace. “They better get that Speedster straight to work to catch up with me!”

 “Might as well, you’re right!”

 Blinking and halting from the new voice, Cinderace turned around as a yellow blur rushed past him. A loud clap rang out, as lightning bolts danced through the air and zapped at the wild Pokémon nearby.

 The striker rabbit watched as the blur raced around, snatching more Aeos Energy before running for a hoop. Jumping up, the thunderclap cat slammed in a ball of energy, scoring points for the corresponding trainer.

 Setting down, Cinderace gawked as the cat beamed to him.

 “Hey there, sorry for the interruption introduction,” called the newcomer. “I’m Zeraora, and I’m your team’s latest Speedster!” He swiped below his nose. “Heard that we’re having a little contest of our own, so I hope you don’t mind me joining in.”

 Slowly nodding, Cinderace looked the yellow cat up and down, impressed at just the sight alone. Watching him run around once again, Cinderace flailed around, trying to attack the wild Pokémon to score more energy.

 However, Zeraora’s speed helped him collect bits of energy from the ground and take down emerging Pokémon faster than Cinderace could keep up with.

 Knocking enough energy into the goal, Zeraora grinned as it faded, and spun around to Cinderace, winking to him.

 “Check it out! We scored a load of points on this one.” He waved. “Come on, cutie, let’s see if you can keep up!”

 “Wow, I think this is how I sound to Lucario,” mumbled the flushed face Cinderace. “…Why doesn’t he like me even more?”

 Both rushed to the next goal, knocking more energy into it. Lucario had chased an evasive Audino over, and was able to help his trainer capture them for Aeos Energy. Once that was done, however, Lucario gawked as Zeraora raced past him, jumping up and slamming more energy into the nearby goal.

 “Wait, what?” Lucario fumbled back and stared up at the cat hanging from the hoop. “Are you the new speedster?”

 “Nice, you’re the team captain!” Zeraora grinned. “They told me you’d be handsome, and they weren’t kidding!” He dropped down and ran for the next wild Pokémon. “Come on, little guy! Let’s see if you can keep up with me!”

 “…He’s like Cinderace, but worse,” muttered Lucario as he blushed.

 As they continued scoring points, practice time ticked away and ran out. Checking over the final scores, Lucario gawked at how high Zeraora’s score was, in spite his late start. Cinderace had scored the lowest, which was quite unusual for him. Turning for the rabbit, Lucario raised an eyebrow, as Cinderace shrugged and gazed back to Zeraora, beaming from his results.

 “Ha, check it out!” Zeraora placed a hand on his hip. “Didn’t think I’d score so high, but you guys made competing pretty fun. I think we’ll make a strong combination!” He winked to his teammates and wandered toward the exit. “I wonder who else is on this team? I think they were both pink…”

 “Well…at least he’s fast,” decided Lucario.

 “He’s amazing, and I have to know more,” rambled off Cinderace.

 “Look in the mirror.”

 “He’s even better than me!”

 “That’s not what I—”

 “Best newbie ever!” Cinderace hurried after him. “Hey, Zera! Tell me more about yourself! Like, everything!”

 Rolling his eyes, Lucario slapped a paw over his head and dragged it down. Sighing, he followed his teammates out from the first practice field, looking to join them for the next session.

 Though Zeraora enjoyed chatting with Cinderace, he would steal glances to Lucario and grin to him, making the captain blush.

 This was certainly going to be a new dynamic for them.

Whoosh, there it is!

Yeah, I did my best while hurrying it along. This wasn’t the original gift idea, but I wanted to include both ideas sent to me.

Since I normally write like medieval Pokémon, or otherwise normal stuff where they battle and such, I decided to try following another game, and went with one that all three leads appear in, which was the latest game.

Even though I’ve never touched it, so maybe that wasn’t the best idea, but oh well! That’s what research is for. (Also, there’s other stuff that I didn’t get to touch on about Unite, but alas.)

If I had more time, I’d probably write more, but this is it for this one. Hope you enjoyed the quick bit!

Alternate Next Gen (Children): Morado Ketchum

Morado is the second son of Ash and Anabel. As Morado is the younger son of Ash and Anabel, he’s often the one Ash and Anabel has to pay more attention to, as such, Morado spends a lot of time watching both of his parents battling and he’s always excited to watch them battle and cheers when he sees them win. Morado greatly admires his mom and his dad and he wants to be a Pokemon trainer rather than a Frontier Brain like his older brother. He doesn’t go to school like the other kids, he spends his time playing in the forest with wild Pokemon or just hanging around the Battle Facilities his parents own, for that reason Morado doesn’t have a lot of human friends but he doesn’t mind as he feels Pokemon are the greatest friends he has, the only other kid his age he plays with is his cousin Tamako. Morado is a lot like his father, he’s energetic and loves to be with Pokemon but he’s also reckless and often gets into trouble, thankfully he can also get out of trouble. He’s been known to have impressive battle skills despite only being seven years old, being able to win against other kids who happen to have Pokemon and he’s always happy when he wins. Much like Ash, he can think on his feet and is able to imitate Ash’s strange battle style. Morado also has a lot of stamina like his father and older brother, he’s also highly optimistic and he has a bright outlook on the world and while he is reckless, he still knows that he can’t do much against anyone older than him because he’s just a child and while he believes in his Pokemon he knows they can’t do much against Pokemon stronger than his so he opts to tell his brother or his parents about something that he can’t handle.

Like his father and brother, Morado does possess Aura but as he’s a child all he can do with it is understand what a Pokemon is saying.

His Pokemon:

Aipom- Aipom was caught by Ash and given to Morado for his birthday. Aipom is a very friendly but mischievous Pokemon, his mischief comes out when he sees someone mess with his trainer and he will often just prank them when no one is looking and will happily grin at Morado as if he didn’t do anything wrong. Aipom loves to play with Morado and is always happy to just be around him by happily riding on his back or on his head. Aipom will always think of different games for him and Morado to play together, whether they’re playing a simple game of tag or just climbing trees together, Aipom is happy and will always be willing to play whatever he wants or whatever Morado wants. Aipom really loves sweet things like honey and fruit, he’ll always share what he gets with Morado and his family and gets happy when they like what he gets for them. Aipom also loves playing with different kinds of balls like soccer balls, basketballs, ping-pong balls and various others simply because he can use his tail to play with them and he can play with his trainer with them. He’s very good at catching objects and throwing them at enemies, something he uses to his advantage.

Moves are Fling, Agility, Double Team, Return, Aerial Ace, Double Slap, Seed Bomb, Mega Punch, Dynamic Punch and Slam.

My fav game protag will probably always be Dawn, and I'll always pair her with Piplup, mostly because the very first pokemon episode I watched was the one where TR caught Yanmega, and that got me into the series in the first place, and even got me to ask for Platinum for my birthday. I think as a kid I even tried to replicate her team in my game, but I couldnt ever find an Aipom

LONNIE, RUOLIN’s team

latias : on the hua siblings’ 5th birthday, they were given their first pokemon: latias for ruolin, and latios for rufeng. mulan wanted the siblings to remember this : blood or not, they were connected, just like latias and latios. 

pidgeot : first pidgey, who crashed fairy godmother’s class at auradon prep. ruolin was overjoyed as she chased after the pokemon. over the years, they became close friends, and pidgeot evolved several years later.

lopunny : buneary was a gift from auradon policitians who wished to bribe mulan, who kept the origin from ruolin. along with mienfoo, the pokemon accompanied lonnie’s kungfu trainings, and eventually evolved into lopunny. she is fighty and competitive.

mienshao : mienfoo was found during a trip to visit her uncles. ruolin spent days playing with her, and took her back to auradon. along with buneary, the pokemon accompanied lonnie’s kungfu trainings, and eventually evolved into mienshao. she is calm and observant.

dragonair : evolved from dratini, which she met at a faraway lake. it was her coming of age journey, where she was separated from rufeng. she evolved into dragonair during a battle.

victini : they showed up around ruolin one day, and they kept showing up. eventually, ruolin asked if they wanted to stay. ruolin still has no idea why victini chose her but the pokemon proves to be loyal to her and the hua family.

LANCE, RUFENG’s team

latios : on the hua siblings’ 5th birthday, they were given their first pokemon: latias for ruolin, and latios for rufeng. mulan wanted the siblings to remember this : blood or not, they were connected, just like latias and latios. 

breloom : unlike his sibling, rufeng did not get along with others. he refused to go to school. he found the grumpy shroomish when he skipped class, and he visited shroomish every day. they bonded, and shroomish evolved into breloom to fend off the white auradonian who picked on rufeng.

scrafty : initially scraggy, the pokemon was found in one of the crates that returned from a supply drop to the isle. intrigued, rufeng fetched the pokemon before anyone could send it back. over the years, he evolved. he is playful and impish, loves to headbutt and pick fights with unsuspecting people.

aipom : a trickster who wouldn’t leave rufeng alone when they were visiting uncle ling. rufeng figured this little demon would bring misery to the stuck up auradonians, so he brought him home.

fraxure : as axew, he wandered into auradon prep and scratched up furniture and walls to mark territory. rufeng traced the marks to find the culprit and claimed him before fairy godmother could punish the innocent pokemon. he evolved during a pokemon battle to bring rufeng pride.

zoroark : rufeng found zorua during his coming of age journey, where he was separated from ruolin. zorua disguised herself to confuse him but he was not affected, which convinced zorua to join him. she evolved into zoroark to protect the hua family.
