I always loved the idea of birthdays because I think it’s so cute that we celebrate the simple fact that someone exists. What a beautiful thing. So in that spirit, I started a birthday page!

My goal is to make gifts for everyone’s birthdays (even if it’s late sometimes) and for others to join in celebrating if they want!

This is an ongoing page and open to anyone following me (not just mutuals), so it's never too late to join in!

i turn 24 today. To celebrate, I made this comic to be a spiritual successor to lead balloon, a comic in which I talked about the darkest period of my life so far.

A lot has changed since my 23rd birthday and this one. My priorities have shifted a lot, in ways that I think are mostly good. But i think the best part about today is that suicide has gone back to being a far away notion. I'm really lucky, and I'm grateful for that.

July 22 is the date I chose as a birthday for Bisig, my beloved little sailor cat, and to celebrate the occasion here is a mini-comic about her and how she met her crab fam :D It's kind of a continuation of something I've drawn back in 2020 as a way to explore her backstory a little and it's very dear to me.

there is something a bit horrific about living in a world determined by algorithms. because, for all our fears about the advancements of technology, it is still fundamentally crude. it lacks empathy and tact. unable to tell the difference between trends and tragedy. so that when something happens. like a death. all it knows is that people are looking. and it doesn't care why. it doesn't care how. it just doesn't want them to stop. so it drags up every photo and every video, piecing together some Frankenstein phantom. of a person who can't take things down. can't block things from view. can't die in peace. because the algorithm sees you looking. because no one ever taught it that digging up bodies is bad manners.
