Soo here's the promised birthday special. All the characters are one year older and the events of Hogwarts legacy are done and over with. Grace period before 7th year...(Btw not telling what's going to happen during the seventh year 🤭 but it's family drama 💯💯 also don't forget to read my books in Wattpad it'll make my birthday that much better 😁)

Mikhail Rasputin and friends were in the room of requirements studying history of magic and other various subjects. You see after everything that happened in their fifth year and all of them battling goblins, Rockwood and ragnok and nearly dying the process to say they were all exhausted and wanted some peace and quiet during their sixth year so wasn't asking much.

It was during the final step of their studies when Mikhail Rasputin realized the date and cursed in Russian. All the friends there knew Russian now thanks to Mikhail and his siblings teaching them thankfully and knew what he said and that had them alerted and on edge for a potential threat looming, But that's not the case right now since it was the thirteen of January. Sebastian placed his hand on a now frantic Mikhail.

"Now what could be the thing that's troubling you my Hufflepuff?" Sebastian sallow asked with concern laced into his voice. The Hufflepuff in question sighed in frustration

" my god parents birthday is tomorrow and I honestly don't know what to get them. It's frustrating since I know they'd love books, but I want to give them something special since they is going to be 29,000 years old . Well I think they're" Mikhail sighed as his head rested on Sebastian's shoulder with a pout.

Not liking her friend and fellow Hufflepuff being this frustrated she thought about what her friend's god parent would want. All poppy knows from her professor was that they like reading, potions, history, dancing and music. She may not be a Ravenclaw, but she thinks she has an idea as to what her professor may want...why not put it all together in a historical,brewing musical ball bash.

"Why not a birthday ball of their favorite things potions capped in the air , books decorating the tables, music of both magic and muggle and since Mikhail knows them best he can help with the muggle music, and we can have snow fall from the ceiling since I did see them smile at the snow and by the end we sit and listen to their favorite times in history they've spent on earth that way they'd enjoy their birthday " poppy says with a proud smile coming up with the whole thing, but Amit has to be the one logical person in there.

"Yes that is great and I do love the idea, but how do we do it? We don't have the resources to pull it off"

"leave that to me. My family fears and respects the Odinson name so if I drop the name in a fire call they'll be right on the decorations over night then all we have to do is music and prevent Odinson from seeing it" ominis gaunt told them with a small smirk feeling pleased to know that he could put fear into his family. In fact he's positively giddy about it. While ominis was daydreaming how afraid his family would be the rest has put in the works.

Garreth would work on the potions , natty would help with the decorations when they arrive, ominis would fire call and scare the shit out of his family in order to cooperate, Sebastian along with Anne would do what mischievous twins would do one distracts and the other keeps look out all while poppy will work with Mikhail to choose the songs. Hopefully black doesn't discover this and fucks it up or Mikhail will give him an earful if illyana or professor Weasley don't get to him first.

The time is now everyone left to be on top of the event tomorrow well everyone, but two Sebastian and Mikhail. They were going to go to professor Weasley's class and tell her the idea. With that in mind both boys walked out of the room of requirements holding each other's hand fingers interlaced, but weirdly enough as soon as they stepped out professor Weasley was waiting for them.

"Mr. Sallow and Mr. Rasputin both of you follow me to the lounge. Every professor minus black and professor Odinson will be there" Matilda says then without expecting an answer turned and walked with both Hufflepuff and Slytherin following in confusion.

When they reached the lounge Matilda opened it to reveal the professor's in question. While the pair was still confused it was professor Garlick who spoke first.

"We know about what tomorrow is and we'd like to help in any way possible. Plus it's exciting to pull off a surprise birthday ball for one of my friends" Garlick says while the rest of the professor's nodded in unison.

"While we keep this secret it imperative to not spill any secrets as well as keep your minds from being read. While professor Odinson values the privacy of their colleges. They have mentioned that they cannot control our outer most thoughts from being read so bury this secret deep till the morrow. We cannot let Odinson know let alone black" professor sharp was admitted to not letting black know what they're up to.

"Yes because we all know black would ruin this any chance he gets. Besides I have a predicament of this party's success" the professor of divination replied to what sharp said.

Now that most of the professors are in agreement everyone got to work. Ominis had fire called his family and told them that Odinson's birthday was on the morrow and they immediately went to work well almost all the gaunts...marvalo was and still is as one would say pigheaded and thinks he's superior in every way to odinson even though said person could snap marvalo's neck with ease and continue about their business.

Poppy and Mikhail went to the muggle world to get classical music that charmed his god parent would enjoy the most. Natty, ominis, Imelda and the professors are busy counting the decorations of tomorrow night's ball . Garreth has been brewing along with professor sharp on different potions all while the rest tried not to get caught. Before long it was the morrow of professor Odinson's birthday and let's just say Jamie is irritated to say the least.

The reject that called himself headmaster wanted to berate them on something trivial like dress code. They're literally older than the planet that Buffoon was loving on he couldn't care less about something as a dress code. It's a simple blouse and trousers.

Not only that but peeves decided their irritation was invalid and pranked them and another lecture about apparel choices and let's just say they're out for blood and if they had to run into black again black will be headless and Jamie will be bathing in his blood.

Mirabel was the only person to notice her friend in dire stress and rage. The only thing she could think of was inviting them to gardening if not to smell the flowers that she grew herself. So she took her irrationally irritated friend and steered them away to the herbology house not before shooting black a small harsh glare. Which caught the 'headmaster' off guard and alerted Mikhail that his god parent was in a mood.

Which is good so Anne doesn't have to distract Jamie so she's free to either decorate or join Sebastian on watch duty which she'd probably do. The group of friends and two pairs of extra close friends sat at the Hufflepuff table for breakfast when an owl swooped down and landed in front of the incompetent head Master.

Whatever he received from the owl. Black looked up then apparated out the mess hall. Which got the group excited cause black is gone and they're able to enact the plan. Which did commence after 1 pm. Anne and Sebastian kept watch while the professors and the students that stayed helped out the group in decorations. By the time everything was done it was close to nine pm.

The elves got the food done as well as the huge mixed berry cheesecake drizzled with honey with a lot of candles. Luckily the cake was huge and wide. It was then they all heard voices and Mikhail can tell it was both Anne and Sebastian stalling for more time...but failing so Mikhail gestures the group to hurry and left the hall and out of it to meet the trio outside.

"hey Anne, seb. Jamie hello how are you this fine night " Mikhail asked as he was in front of the door as he interlaced his fingers with Sebastian and hooked an arm with Anne and both realized that he was forming a human wall...a futile one but one none the less. Jamie raised an eye brow at the behavior but chalked it as normal behavior of their God child

" It could have gone better black was a completely useless arse as usual. Peeves although I love his pranks I couldn't find the humor today. Thankfully Ms Garlick noticed and took me away before I ripped the headmaster's head clean from his shoulders" Jamie confessed.

It didn't startle Mikhail Rasputin but Sebastian looked sorta perturbed and Anne sallow looked kinda mortified, but Sebastian nodded none the less.

"Well if that were to happen I don't think anyone would miss him terribly. Morbid I know but the truth is there" although Sebastian told the truth it did bring out a chuckle in the three that were there. They did talk about other things before a light few knocks indicating that the celebration was ready. The trio in front of Jamie smirked and moved away from the entrance to the hall earning a very hesitant chuckle from Jamie.

The moment that Jamie steps through the door it is 9:11 pm. It was dark then it was outside and it was a very weird thing to them so they got out their wand and casts Lumos maxima to light the room earning a surprise.....followed by a Petrificus Totalus by a startled Jamie the lights brightened and saw poor professor sharp on the ground.

Jaime casted finite incantatem and a stream of apologies spewed from their maw. It was only a wack from sharp that stopped the continuous onslaught of apologies. The professors and students went to the tables to eat their fill before the ball started. They all finished eating and drinking their fill and they started the ball part Jamie opted out of dancing along with Garlick with both of them just sitting on the side while the student and other professors danced.

Jamie smiled as they watched the people dance the night away While Garlick slightly frowned. She thought her friend would be dancing so she decided to ask. "Jamie dear why aren't you out there dancing. I'd assume you'd be dancing" she'd thought she would have been hexed if asked, but she was only met with a smile.

" well I don't mind sitting and watching others have fun. It makes me happy that others can find peace in something as trivial as a birthday...before you say anything I have lived a long while and danced my heart out throughout the years and after all that I think I'd just settle and watch for a change and it's just as fun as dancing itself " Jamie smiled as they say it and Mirabel smiled too finding that as fun as dancing it's.

" You know you embody the traits of a Hufflepuff" Mirabel smiled as she said it. She is right Jamie does possess the attributes of a Hufflepuff Jamie nodded as they chuckled. Both of them continued to watch until it was time for the presents and cake. Jamie blew out the candles and opened the presents and was happy for a time till black re-entered the hall with something. Grumbling he shoved whatever it was in their hands.

Curiously they looked at it only for the thing to move and picked their pockets of galleons and put into their pouch. A squeal came from Jamie's throat as they hugged the creature.

"A niffler?! how precious!!! Hello little one" Jamie dotted the niffler. The niffler in question didn't mind the affection it seems cause it looked like it was soaking in the comments and love. "Oh I think I'll name you nathia after my daughter....how about it?" The niffler also didn't mind the name which was a great thing.

Jamie looked up and turned to black and nodded letting him know that they loved the gift. The person in question grumbles as he leaves the hall, but as soon as the doors close a tiny smile briefly appears on his face before it disappears. The night went on before all had to leave for their dormitories.

Mikhail and Sebastian are the only ones in the hall as they were giving special privilege to stay out by Jamie as they made both promise two head to bed at some point. Sebastian's hands were on Mikhail's hips and the latter's arms were around as they danced slowly to the music of the current time in the muggle world. Swaying ever so smoothly

The time in the hall slows as Sebastian twirls Mikhail and as the music continues Sebastian dips Mikhail and they both share a passionate kiss under the moon light that shines above as the moonlight makes everything including both lovers glow Enchantingly as ancient magic swirled around them as they swayed into the night enraptured by each others embrace and the music that unites them.

I know the music wasn't out during that time but let's pretend it did okay for my sake cause it's a really lovely song.
