2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

I’m obsessed with his little beret!! omg. But honestly, I love how he’s so committed to the welfare of his men. The man cares so deeply, despite his rough exterior.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

That him and Leon fooled around during training. Until Capcom confirms the queerness of a multitude of their characters, I will continue to hc them as queer. Besides that, I headcanon that he’s got a softer, creative side like with Chris. I see him as having some musical affinity. Probably plays the piano, guitar, maybe a violin too. He’s multi-faceted.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

I’m going to base this purely on his 4R representation because it’s been awhile since I’ve played OG4 and DSC / OJ. Very first impression was I clocked the crush from a mile away and ooooooh, this man is obsessed with Leon.

He’s a lot more fleshed out for me now. Whereas he was kind of one-dimensional at first, he’s become more nuanced. There’s a relatability and depth there that is incredibly fascinating to explore.

Maybe Wesker brushing the fur at the top of his head and slicking it back? or Chris hugging Wesker and wagging his tail? A few days back I saw another user had asked which fics you'd like art of and you put your Krauser's back series on the list, which I really enjoyed! Maybe it's a little gross, but I liked the scene from the first story with Leon and Krauser kissing with Krauser's blood on their faces, so I did a fanart of it.

i just woke up and my brain isn't entirely online yet, and currently it's basically going "wow omg wow amazing oh wow 😍😍😍" on repeat :'D so I apologize for the lack of coherency but SERIOUSLY, AMAZING!! i love everything about it. Krauser's arm is kinda hypnotizing bc it's right there :'D i love that. and their HANDS. perfection. and this might be a weird detail to focus on but i love the way you drew their waists area?? idk how to explain it but goooood. and the KISS.

please know that this made my entire morning, possibly entire day and weekend and so forth :'D was an amazing thing to wake up to!! thank you! 💖💖💖

How I feel about this character:

At first I was mainly interested in his because I liked metaltango but he'd really grown on me and I feel like there's just so much to explore (and unpack lol), specifically with how he prioritizes his physical strength and seems to tie his worth to how 'useful' he is. I was a bit confused at first about why I like him so much because he's not really the usual 'type' that I go for, but then I realized that I tend to like characters who are obsessed with knives. LOL

*Also I freaked out when I realized that him calling Leon "boy-scout" was actually canon.

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Leon <33 Also thank to @samblerambles and @colesabi 's metaltangofield discussions, I've started thinking about him and Chris a bit. Like I feel like they'd sort of hate each other at first, but they have some stuff in common (like their military service) and who knows, they might hit it off 👀

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Hmmm it's kind of hard to imagine him having friends 😭. I'd love see how he interacts with the rest of the RE cast, specifically Jill since I feel like she'd put him in his place. But I feel like he'd definitely get along with animals, specifically cats lol

My unpopular opinion about this character

I think this has definitely been mentioned before he doesn't have to be a dimensional villain and I don't think he was a complete 'asshole' pre Re4. If he was absolutely evil and a complete jerk before, it would really reduce all that betrayal and shock Leon feels. Like Leon is desperate to get him to see reason and find some reason not to fight him and even in og 4 there's that whole "you used to be a good guy" thing, so I like to think that he was fairly different before.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I wish we got to more flashbacks pre-re4r and see a bit more of his and Leon's relationship. I do like fics where he survives, but I don't think canon would handle it that way i want lol. I do wish that he said a bit more in his last moments ( that scene was one of my favorite moments of him <33) but I saw a video where the VAs said that they were thinking of having Krauser help Leon push the knife in, which is just 😭

I'm not sure how many I'm supposed to do, but here ya go. Mansion, I mean dorm room full of things you might want to take or leave, depending where you're going next....

1. It's got a color changing light bulb. No other mode

2. The pick guard is peeling and there's dust around the frets that I keep forgetting to clean. The case has some cool buttons though!

💕Who’s your favourite female character?

Jill! although to be fair there's so many female characters I like in the franchise. like, i love Claire (aside from half of ID), and Sherry is one of my fave things about re6, and Hunnigan is always A+, and Sheva is the highlight of re5 lol, and I will go to my grave defending the og re4 Ashley. but yeah, I'm kinda weak for Jill so :'D

👀When did you first get into resident evil?

in 2005 when I played re4 for the first time, if we're talking about playing the games and being aware of the series and about drooling after Leon and Leon's long legs. but if we're talking about actually getting into the fandom, it was only in 2019, I was sick and bored and I stumbled into ao3 and started reading stuff and that's pretty much what sealed the deal :'D

🪄If you could change one thing in the games, what would it be?

Piers would live. (and no one is surprised! :'D)
