Response to you 🥝 anon and Columbina anon! (5.1 NATLAN AQ SPOILERS UTC!! mostly me ranting about Capitano <3)
I WAS GIGGLING THE MOMENT I SAW THIS AND THEN CAME BACK TO U AFTER I FINISHED THE AQ!!!! 😭❤️😫😫😫😫 I HAVE *SO* MUCH TO SAY TOO- LIKE SIR?!!!! So glad they finally added the hide text button... i love Capitano so much. he's beautiful. AND HE'S SO TALL I CAN'T. reader is one sauce compared to him... HE REALLY DOES DESERVE A HUG.
oKAY SO FIRST CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT ONE SCENE WHERE HIS SOLDIER WASN'T FEELING GOOD AND HE IMMEDIATELY TURNED AROUND AND STARTED USING HIS POWERS??? And also, when he was about to fight Mavuika and the agents was like "you sure you wanna do this?" 😭💔 I love his relationship with his comrades, and the way he was so impressed with humanity at the end was 😭🥺 I'm really happy he got this much screen time early on. Okay onto my point - if this is the way he treats his soldiers, imagine how protective he is with reader. He would be so observant and watching them so carefully. And his soldiers too. 😫 they would respect u sm...
And that's not even half of it. 😭 With his whole Khaenri'ah stuff, and how he lost everyone, AND he's rotting (how ur hair still so nice tho? 🤔) (i'd still kiss him idc SBusgwqe2 THERES SM FIC POSSIBILITIES WITH THIS...) THERE'S SM GOING ON... (also, the fact he's lost most of his power, but he's still so strong 🧎♀️) He would so keep you at a distance at first because he doesn't want to get too attached (he fails obviously tho)
AHHH ALSO... the line when he spoke about the Tsaritsa!!! (beloved tbh 🥺) ahhh i love her sm!! i can't wait to see what kind of Archon she is! i want her to order him to spend a day off with reader!! (also unrelated but hello the fake sky- Dottore WYA???)
Also, it makes me really happy to see him also bc i remember when we were talking about him like 2+ years ago, and now he is finally here and I'm very happy for u 🥺💕 And yes i still remember your request ❤️ and i still love it!! that man really desperately needs some comfort and a break, and yet he also says Dain's hatred is more than him and im likeee 😭💀 even though it was literally just one line about him watching his nation and family/friends all die, the implications is just very sad 😭🥺🥺
AND YES HAI 🥝 ANON!!!! 🫶🫶🫶 I MISSED YOU!! I hope you're okay and that you're recovering well mwah! ❤️ HELP AND PLS I SAID THE SAME THING 😭 I mean, ig we can ignore it because Dain has the same curse although his is slower but his hair is still very nice 😭 Reader helps take care of it for him okay? 😤 ALSO PLS SEND ANYTHING U WANT INTO MY INBOX!!! I'D LOVE TO LISTEN TO YOU TALK ABOUT CAPITANO!! <333
I appreciate your concern and i promise I'm taking care of myself, so please take care of yourself too 🥝 anon!! 💕💕
YES!!! honestly i'm not good with theories and stuff but like just yes 🙏 it was like,, late af at night when i was playing the AQ but as soon as i heard Angels my eyes were WIDENED FR. ahh that lore drop was so unexpected, but i really think it could be connected to Bina! I really hope she appears in the 5.X patches considering this!
i miss her... 😔

The original lyrics read, "Tere bina beswaadi beswaadi ratiyan, o sajna, rookhi re o rookhi re, kaature kaate kate na, o hum dum bin tere kya jeena." The English translation reads, "without you the nights are tasteless, o beloved, they are dry and withered, they don't pass by, o beloved, without you, what is life."
GIF 6: Eddie tersely telling Buck that "You're 100%. Lawsuit proved that, right?" before walking away, blended with Buck watching Eddie leave as his lips flatten into a sad expression. The album name is Malang - Unleash The Madness, the song name is Phir Na Milen Kabhi and the artist line reads, "Ankit Tiwari."

( tsunaina limbu, 30, cis woman, she/her ) — Look who it is! If you take a look at our database, you’ll find that BINITA LIMBU is a MOISTURE FARMER that works in SECTOR 2. According to the file, they’re a mutant with the power of PREHENSILE HAIR & MESMERISING PRESENCE. That must be why they’re CAUTIOUS and SELF-DESTRUCTIVE. If you ask me, they remind me of teeth clamping down on a lower lip for silence, endless braids of hair like strangling ropes upon a throat, and being unable to look away from something terrifying. They are affiliated with THE UNBURDENED.
basic information:
character name: Binita Limbu
nickname(s): Bina, Nita (and inevitably, inb4 Rapunzel/Medusa)
face claim: Tsunaina Limbu (on that, from my research I believe generally Nepalese ppl use their caste as a surname, and Tsunaina is of Limbu descent which is why I gave Bina the same surname as her FC! If anyone with better understanding of Nepalese cultures feels this was incorrect pls let me know, I of course want to be as sensitive as possible!)
mutation status: Gen ii mutant
birthday: November 12th (Scorpio)
sexuality: undecided... definitely WLW in some capacity
moral alignment: undecided...
occupation: Moisture farmer
work sector: 2
affiliation: The Unburdened
3 positive traits: Disciplined, loving, cautious.
3 negative traits: Evasive, insecure, self-destructive
BIO:
Bina was the most beloved baby. Beloved by her parents, and by the whole community. Everyone doted upon her. She wanted for nothing. Even before she had language to ask for what she wanted, it would be given to her before she even knew she needed it.
Her community was overall anti-mutant, having suffered great losses during the first wave of mutation -- her own mother was a pariah because of the harm she'd caused. But everyone made an exception for Bina. The trouble was, they didn't know why. Her hair set her apart as an obvious mutant, but nobody realised the secondary mutation: her mesmerising presence.
So she grew up, happy, loved. Married her first crush. Bina thought she was the luckiest girl alive; she didn't always got what she want, but if she expressed her wishes then the people around her were usually kind enough to help her fulfil them. She had so much love to share, and she just assumed it was the same for everyone else.
It was a quiet life, until a newcomer joined their village. This person was a mutant, with power nullification. For the first time in her life, Bina's hair fell unmovingly down her back. But more than that, suddenly people looked at her with clear eyes. Thus began the witch hunt: she had ensorcelled them, against their will, manipulated them, turned them to her whims.
Bina was held down, her head shaved. And then she was chased from her home, and from the community that did not actually love her. The accusations were true, she supposed. As she travelled, she learned more about mutations, and learned about her mesmerising presence. It made her sick. It made her whole life an insincere lie, when all she ever wanted was to love and be loved in return. This mutation left her, essentially, unlovable.
She came to Sol City by chance. Having travelled South, first by foot and then by boat from the bay of Bengal, she didn't want to form a community. But community found her, when the ship she was on wrecked and she washed up on the Austrlian shores -- the sole survivor, having protected herself in a cocoon of hair.
She tries to keep to herself, now in Sol City. Bina is prone to nonverbal periods, and when she does speak it often takes her a while to form sentences as she thinks carefully how to phrase things so as to avoid expressing desires, or anything that might influence people.
questionnaire:
how do they feel about living in sol city? have they always lived there or did they travel from another settlement?
It's just a city. She doesn't love it. She's been here a few months now and is still getting used to being surrounded by such a dense mutant population. It feels more metropolitan than her home village, and she does like that aspect because its easier to get lost in the crowd.
do they trust the council’s leadership? why or why not?
More than some. She understands the choice to put only humans on the council, given how dangerous some mutations can be, but questions the efficacy of 'democracy' without regular elections.
if they chose their sector and profession, why did they make that choice? if they didn’t, why not? were they happy with their assignment or not?
She didn't choose, but is happy enough where she ended up. It's easy to isolate herself, as she lives alone in a dome shaped structure half buried in the sand, and the vaporators aren't so complicated to maintain.
what’s one object that they always keep on their person?
The ol' wedding ring, of course. Bina doesn't know if she considers herself married or not: her mutation made it sort of a sham, and she'll never forget the hatred in Gamya's eyes after her mesmerising presence was dropped. But either way, the ring is a good reminder of her limitations and her past.
(mutant only section)
what is your character’s ability (or abilities)?
Prehensile hair & mesmerising presence.
are they gen i or gen ii?
Gen ii.
what can your character do? what are their strengths?
Prehensile hair: Bina can grow her hair at will (it's usually around knee length). She can constrict with it, grab and manipulate objects, use it as a whip-like weapon, form it around herself like a shield (the latter two are her methods for fighting with the Unburdened). She can also hide her face behind it in shame! That's not a mutation thing, anyone with long hair can do that!
Mesmerising presence: does what it says on the tin, really! Beholding her, you feel almost hypnotised. You want to do things for her and make her happy, and the longer you are around her the stronger this feeling typically grows.
what can’t they do? what are their weaknesses?
Prehensile Hair: Her hair is still... hair. She can grow it back pretty fast but not instantaneously, so if someone cuts or burns it off there's not much she can do in the moment.
Mesmerising presence: mutants with indomitable will or similar mind-based powers can be immune. Her presence has no impact if you can't see her, and time/distance loosens her hold anyway. None of this makes much difference because she puts so much effort into not utilising this power anyway!
is there anything else you’d like to specify about them?
She generally wears her hair loose, and it WILL be in your way. It's just so useful keeping it long! But it can sort of react to her emotions if she doesn't focus on keeping it in line, so it can be a gauge for her responses.
She is deeply uninterested in romance because she doesn't think anyone can truly love her, and obviously has concerns about anyone's ability to consent to intimacy with her due to her mutation. I myself, however, am a hopeless romantic and would love to find a way for Bina to find love <3 so you CAN change her mind.
She is with the Unburdened not because she loves fighting, but because she hates herself. She will lash out and give the fight her best effort but she honestly likes it better when she loses. She doesn't want glory or money, she just wants to self destruct.

Light and Sound on The Path: Mystic Poetry of Baba Somanath, Sant Namdev, Soami Ji Maharaj, and Huzur Maharaj Rai Saligram -- Sant Mat Radhasoami
Master Blog Archive RSS Feed (for those wishing to subscribe and follow via RSS):
https://SantMatRadhasoami.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
Mystic Poetry (Bhajan, Hymn) of Baba Somanath: O beloved ones, repeat the Simran of Naam, Otherwise your life will be spoiled.
Naama sumirana karale pyaare
Nahi to hoya khuwaari (refrain)
O beloved ones, repeat the Simran of Naam,
Otherwise your life will be spoiled.
Kaama kalpanaa chora jaga se, hoya raho tuma nyaari
Cast out fantasies of desire from your heart;
Remain detached from this outer world.
Dhyaana guru kaa dhaara tu, jaise chandra chakoraa
Nirakhata raho nisadina, aatha hi praharaa
Hoi hai dyaala to kari hai nihaala
Pala me deya ubaari (1)
Contemplate on the Guru as the moonbird gazes at the moon;
Maintain your watch all the hours of the day and night.
When He becomes gracious, He showers His blessing on you,
And in an instant you attain salvation.
Dhru, Pralhaada, Vibhishana, aur Bhilani Shivari
Ganika Ajaamila jaise paapi naama anekana taari
Patita paavana naama nirmala
Tuma kyon chale bisaari (2)
Dhru, Prahlad, Vibhishana, 30 and Bhilni Shivari were saved.
His Naam liberated countless sinners like Ganika, the prostitute, and Ajamila, the sinner. 31
The Immaculate Naam is the purifier of the fallen ones.
Why do you persist in your forgetfulness?
Nita nema kara prema se, svaasa svaasa ura dhaari
Chita dvai nainana madhye, sthira kara samhaari
Dhuna dhadhakaara hotaa jahaa
Ghantaa naada jhanakaari (3)
Constantly meditate with true love; with each and every breath, cherish the Naam in your heart.
Fix your attention between the two eyes; become firm and concentrate within.
Where the Dhun is resounding,
You will hear the peeling of Celestial Bells.
Dala sahasra kanvala ke paarachala, kaala kalaa saba haari
Sthula sukshama kaarana shariraa, mana na maayaa thahari
Sthaan trikuti brahma langa ke,
Manasarovara naahari (4)
When you travel to the regions beyond the Thousand-Petaled Lotus, the tricks of Kal are all conquered.
Rising above the physical, astral, and causal bodies, neither mind nor Maya remain.
Crossing over Trikuti, the region of Brahma, bathe in the waters of Mansarovar.
Hansa hoya sataloka sidhaare, satta purusha hi nihaare
Nita hota bina dhuna jahaa, satta hi satta pukaare
Bhaja Somanaatha naama niraamaya
Guru prataapa te huye nyaare (5)
The swan-bird of the soul departs for Sat Lok, where it beholds Sat Purush, the True Lord.
The music of the veena reverberates perpetually on the air.
In that Realm, the Truth of Truth calls forth.
Somanath says: “Repeat the Immaculate Naam.
Through the glory of the Guru, you will become free from this world.”

Mystic Verses of Sant Namdev from Three Sources
Namdev advises to accept divine instruction so that humanity may be contented and happy:
When I sing of God, then I behold Him;
Then I, His servant, obtain contentment.
Accept divine instruction, 0 man;
the true guru shall cause thee
to meet God.
Where the heavenly Light shineth,
There playeth spontaneous Music.
'God's Light is all-pervading'--
By the guru's favour I know that.
In the chamber of the heart are jewels
Which glitter there like lightning.
God is near, not distant,
And His Spirit completely filleth mine.
Where the inextinguishable sun of God's Word shineth,
There earthly lamps grow pale:
Through the guru's favour I have know this.
God's slave Nama hath been easily absorbed in Him.
-- Sant Namdev, Vani of Namdev quoted in, "Sant Namdev -- The Facts of His Religious Ideology", O.P. Ralhan, Anmol Publications, New Delhi
I Shall Never Forget the Lord Now
I shall never forget the Lord now,
I shall keep him clasped to my heart.
Were I to forget him, I should indeed lose all I have.
Every moment I offer my body and mind to the Lord,
Never for a moment do I let him go from my mind.
With every breath I drink the nectar of his remembrance --
This beggar thrives on the nectar of the Lord's Name.
Engrossed in his love, I keep repeating his sweet Name.
Were I to forget him, I would certainly come to grief.
Says Namdev, I shall never fix my hope on any but him.
I shall lay down my life to attain the wealth of his Name.
-- Sant Namdev, "Saint Namdev", translated by J.R. Puri, V.K. Sethi
It is your Music
I hear
0 Lord.
The rhythm of drums
jantar
and vina.
The supreme moment
has come.
I had chains around
my feet.
But now I have no fear
of this ocean of samsara [world of changes].
I looked within
and perfected devotion
says Namdev.
Govind [God] is right
here.
My heart dwells
at his feet.
Never will I give up
my love for him.
Let people laugh
all they wish.
Govind's [God's] name
will take you across
the ocean of samsara.
Why work yourself
to death
for the falsehood
of maya [illusion]?
A man will stake his life
for his money.
Should a bhakta [lover of the Beloved] not cherish
his love?
All that I want
is to please Ram [God]
says Namdev.
-- Sant Namdev,
"The Hindi Padavali",
Winand M. Callewaert translation
Motilal Banarsidass, Delhi
Beloved Radhasoami (Lord of All Souls) is Your Protector
Some selections of Radhaswami hymns found in the book, "Niyamawali," published in Agra, India:
Guru is my Father and Mother. Who can describe His glory and eminence?
Beloved, merciful to the humble, Radhasoami, does good to my soul every moment. (Prem Bani Radhasoami, Huzur Maharaj)
0 Jiva [soul]! Why do you worry? Beloved Radhasoami is your protector. When you were born, He arranged milk for your feed and had your mother bring you up. He took care of you in every way and attracted you to His Holy Feet.
He provided you with all the pleasures of the senses and showed you the transitory nature of the world. He then drew you to Satsang and gave out to you the secrets and mysteries of the Nij Ghar (True Home). By His grace and mercy, go up and open the Tenth Door.
He improves your understanding by His discourses. He lets you examine the true nature of the mind, enabling you to give up your entanglements, delusions and adherences to past beliefs. He applies your Surat [Soul's Attention] to Shabd [inner Current of Sound and Light]. Ascend to higher regions and see beautiful scenes.
He makes the bell and the conch audible to you in Sahas-dal-kanwal [Thousand Petaled Lotus]. He shows you the splendor of Guru in Trikuti [Causal Plane, second inner Region]. See moonlight in the expanse of Sunn, and, reaching the perfect region beyond Bhanwargupha, perform Arti of Sat Guru.
Taking a telescope from Sat Purush, proceed to Alakh and Agam. Beyond lies the infinite Radhasoami Dham. Behold it and be enriched place your head at His Holy Feet. (Prem Bani Radhasoami, Huzur Maharaj)
Have patience. Do not be dejected. Fix your Attention on, and absorb yourself in the Holy Form of Guru. Always sing His praises. Make no excuses. This should be your aim, just as the Papiha (the sparrow hawk) patiently waits in expectation of the Swanti rain with a fixed aim.
Direct your Attention inward, do not allow it to flow out anywhere else. Put up with every thing inwardly. Accept nothing but internal joy. Have patience. Do not divulge acts of grace of Sat Guru to others. Live with Radhasoami like a fish in water. (Sar Bachan Radhasoami Poetry, Soami Ji Maharaj)

12 Famous Nepali Poems About Love
Love has always been a central theme in Nepali poetry, with poets from various periods weaving their emotions and experiences into powerful verses. The theme of love in Nepali poetry spans a wide range of emotions—from the joy of romantic passion to the sorrow of unrequited love and the love of one’s country. In this article, we will delve into twelve of the most famous Nepali poems about love, offering not only an overview of the works but also excerpts that highlight their emotional depth and lyrical beauty.
1. “Yo Mann Ta Mero Nepali Ho” by Pradeep Kumar Rai ‘Madhav Prasad Ghimire’
Pradeep Kumar Rai, also known as Madhav Prasad Ghimire, is considered one of Nepal’s most significant poets. His poem “Yo Mann Ta Mero Nepali Ho” (This Heart is Mine, Nepali) expresses deep love and attachment to Nepal, but it also serves as an analogy for romantic love. While the poem focuses on patriotism, the fervor and devotion expressed can be understood as a form of love.
Excerpt:
“Yo mann ta mero Nepali ho, Maile je chha, yo chha mero rati, Mero jindagi, mero mitra ho, Sadhai bascha yaha mero rati.” (This heart is mine, Nepali, Whatever I have, it belongs to my people, My life, my friend, Forever remains here, my love.)
This excerpt showcases the deep bond the poet feels for his homeland, equating love for the country with the deep emotions one feels for a lover. The poem portrays love as a source of both identity and purpose.
2. “Rato Rato Khamar” by Chakrapani Chalise
“Rato Rato Khamar” (The Red Scarf) by Chakrapani Chalise is a popular romantic poem that uses the metaphor of a red scarf to symbolize love. The red scarf in the poem represents warmth, passion, and the close relationship between the lover and the beloved.
Excerpt:
“Rato rato khamar, yo timro ya mero, Samjhera timro sath yatra garne ho.” (A red, red scarf, is it yours or mine? Thinking of you, I will journey through time.)
The poet beautifully intertwines the symbol of the red scarf with the emotional journey of love. The scarf acts as a metaphor for the warmth that love provides, even in separation.
3. “Mero Jindagi Sathi” by Laxmi Prasad Devkota
Laxmi Prasad Devkota’s “Mero Jindagi Sathi” (My Life Partner) is one of the most beloved romantic poems in Nepali literature. The poem speaks to the eternal connection between a lover and a life partner. Devkota captures the spiritual and emotional aspects of love in this work.
Excerpt:
“Mero jindagi sathi, ma timi sath chha, Sadhai satta raheko ho, yo purnima ko raat ma.” (My life partner, I am with you, Always together, in this full moon night.)
Devkota’s words express the sense of togetherness in love. His portrayal of the deep, emotional connection between two people reflects both the comfort and fulfillment that come from a true partnership.
4. “Sambodhan” by Bhanu Aadikavi
Bhanu Aadikavi is regarded as the father of modern Nepali poetry. His poem “Sambodhan” (Invocation) speaks to the spiritual and romantic dimensions of love, combining the longing for a beloved with reverence and admiration. This poem blends philosophical reflection with deep emotional yearning.
Excerpt:
“O timi! Mero antaratma ka sajha, Mero man ko bhavya manchhe, timi nai ho.” (Oh, you! The companion of my soul, The noble being of my heart, you are the one.)
The poem elevates love to a spiritual level, portraying the beloved as a divine figure whose presence fills the poet’s heart with both passion and devotion. It exemplifies how love can transcend the physical realm.
5. “Jindagi” by Shankar Lamichhane
“Jindagi” (Life) by Shankar Lamichhane reflects the complexities of love, particularly the pain of separation and the hope for eventual reunion. It explores how love transforms life, making it both a source of joy and sorrow.
Excerpt:
“Jindagi timro bina, artha nai rahena, Timro haath ma yo jindagi jeevan rahecha.” (Life without you is meaningless, In your hands, this life finds its purpose.)
Lamichhane’s words beautifully convey the idea that love is what gives life meaning. The speaker’s dependence on the presence of the lover illustrates the centrality of love to one’s existence.
6. “Aaja Hamro Katha” by Ambar Gurung
Ambar Gurung, a notable figure in Nepali music and poetry, wrote “Aaja Hamro Katha” (Today, Our Story), a poem that captures the essence of eternal love. The poem reflects a love that transcends time and space, symbolized by the idea of telling a shared story.
Excerpt:
“Aaja hamro katha, timro maaya ko kathaa, Mero yo man, timro sathma bascha.” (Today, our story, the story of your love, My heart remains with you, always.)
This excerpt speaks of the love that exists between two people and how it defines their lives. The idea of sharing a “story” in the present moment reflects the poet’s sense of timelessness in love.
7. “Chitthi” by Madan Krishna Shrestha
“Chitthi” (The Letter) by Madan Krishna Shrestha is a poem about the longing and yearning felt when separated from a lover. The letter in the poem is a medium for the speaker to express emotions, conveying the deep desire to reconnect with the loved one.
Excerpt:
“Chitthi ko pankti haru, yatra garne ho, Timi chahine, raheko ho, man timro saath chha.” (The lines of the letter will journey, You are desired, my heart remains with you.)
The letter serves as a symbolic gesture of love in this poem. It represents the connection between two lovers despite physical distance and the longing that exists in separation.
8. “Sundar Bato” by Gopal Prasad Rimal
Gopal Prasad Rimal’s “Sundar Bato” (The Beautiful Path) portrays love as a journey, one that may be difficult but is ultimately beautiful and worth pursuing. The poem draws on the imagery of a path, representing the ups and downs of a romantic relationship.

I miss you papa...
Kaha chle gye ap ? You have created an emptiness in my life. I can't even write this without crying and sobbing. So much crowd around me, so many people indeed. Still alone. Inside. A period without you in my heart and soul. It's Ramnavami today papa. And i remember, how much crowded it was as similar on dussehra day in our city as to this in Bengaluru. How happy I used to be to visit that fair along with you. Har baar ki tarah us din hum dopahar ko jate ravana aur sbka putla dekhne kyunki that was also the time of procession of Shri Ram and Mata Sita, to be out from the dussehra grounds. We parked our activa and saw that and then returned. I miss you papa. See how much crowded it is. It just reminds me to that day. Why you've gone so soon ? Why didn't you take me along with you ? You always used to say ki putt Teri awaz sune Bina Nind NH aandi mainu...( I can't sleep till i hear your voice at night before going to bed) and Tucci so gye Bina mainu call kite, mere nal gal kite. Still writing this by taking gaps in between to calm myself, while being a l'll scared and wishing nobody point out to me and ask why crying are you okay or anything! Because I want to hear none at this moment. Don't want to gain any sympathy. It's just i control crying whenever i think about you papa. But papa pta hai apko there is a time when i do hide my tears sometimes and that is when muma is crying. Because I can't see her crying. I love her. She is my only hope after you. I can't loose her. I can't loose kanha g and Raghav as well. Sometimes I think I wish nothing happens to any of my dear family ones now as what would I do in this world agar koi Mera apna rhega hi nhi.. it's like somewhere i am scared that i shouldn't be left alone in this scary world without my most beloved ones. I miss you papa. Okay stoppage aane wala hai. Love you loads.

I think I still have my 30 year old copy somewhere. Binas my beloved
In the Netherlands we all get a book called "BiNaS" in middle school to use during Bio, Chem, Phys etc.
(Ignore the creases my mint condition BiNaS is locked up safely)
These are some of the sexiest pages:
Some freaky Hazard Symbols
This page contains all sorts of shorthands, like "Br" for "Vomit" and "G Br" for "DON'T FUCKING VOMIT"
Idk I thought it was hot.

Following in @tranquilsightseer’s esteemed footsteps!
First, the original lines.
Tere liye khud ko badal de
Sara sara saara kaathu veesum podhum, sir ah paathu pesum podhum
Hona tera hona, paana tujhko paana
And who are you, the proud lord said
Jabse hua hai yeh accha sa lagta hai
O beech bazaari dange lag gaye, do talwari akhiyon se
Bhula dena mujhe, hai alvida tujhe, tujhe jeena hai mere bina
Teri judaai…
Sukh karta dukh harts vartha vignachi
Albela sajan aayo ri
And here’s the English translation
To change myself for you
When the chilly, cold wind blows, when I look at sir and speak
To be yours, to be yours, to get you as mine, to get you as mine
And who are you, the proud lord said
Since when this has happened, it is feeling good
In the middle of the market, spark riots, caused of these two eyes, akin to swords
Do call me, it is farewell to you, you must live on without me
To part from you…
O lord, he who brings joy, takes away sorrows and removes all obstacles in life
O, my charming beloved has arrived
Haha, this makes absolutely no sense, and is a mishmash of more than three languages to boot. I had a twenty line version of this as well, but that one is a worse mishmash, so I’m stopping here.
Tagging @hum-suffer @humapkehaikaun @deadloverscity and @themorguepoet
put your Spotify on shuffle, and write down the first line of the first ten twenty songs. Post the poem that results.
