The Journey of Julia Louis-Dreyfus
January 13 is the birthday of the great Julia Louis-Dreyfus (b. 1961). JLD has been a star now over 40 years, which is particularly painful for me to say because I’m only four years younger than her! On paper I ought to dislike her. My whole bag is show business as a means of advancement. It used to be truer than it is now but it remains true to a degree: people at the bottom of the ladder of…

Paul Getty, to cooperate with the kidnappers’ extortion demands.

I've seen a lot of posts about Batman using his Bruce Wayne alter ego for the good of Gotham: job programs for felons released from prison, orphanages, charities, high wages for his employees, ethical business practices...the legendary post where Bruce Wayne goes to Wal-Mart.
Thus far I've never personally seen anybody really dig into the persona of Bruce Wayne the Billionaire Playboy. A handsome, rich, powerful man who always is seen at fancy galas, art openings, charity dinners, and wild parties with at least one beautiful woman on his arm.
We know Bruce Wayne is the mask, and its Batman who has a...complex love life, depending on the iteration we're talking about. Talia, Catwoman, sometimes Wonder Woman.
Bruce Wayne's dates, on the other hand, are all "normal" people. Maybe they're an aspiring actress, a supermodel, a prima ballerina, the occasional reporter...and every time there's that bit of nervousness at the start.
Sure everyone knows Bruce Wayne. Everyone knows the story with him. Sometimes his wilder parties make the news, but there's never really been anything nasty reported about him. Never...allegations. But he's a billionaire. He's one of the most powerful people in the whole city, nevermind the country. If he did have some skeletons in his closet. Well. Men with power have a way of making those kinds of stories go away, don't they?
As time goes on the Date's fears dissipate pretty quickly. Bruce Wayne is nothing but polite, kind, and at times charmingly awkward in an 'raised by his butler in a mansion' kind of way with his dates. Some of them can tell he's holding back, of course. Maybe the more perceptive Dates notice he's smarter than he lets on - playing the himbo or hamming up the "know-nothing rich boy" act to the cameras or some of his wealthy peers.
He also listens, is the thing. He's always listening to what they're saying, is interested in hearing about their careers, their hobbies, their lives. Really listens, too. Might refer to something a Date said weeks later off-hand. Buy out the whole museum for a private dinner date with a famous painting from an obscure artist they like, or a private performance with another's favorite band.
He has anecdotes and funny stories for days that somehow says very little about his personal life. The Dates know he has kids (it's practically a running gag in the news that Bruce Wayne has adopted yet another orphan) and maybe she might spot one of them at the mansion, but Bruce seems very keen to shelter them from any intense spotlight and scrutiny, and they all seem happy if a bit weird like him.
Eventually, there's drifting. He's a very busy man, with a very busy schedule. On more than on occasion his nice old butler will call and extend apologies that Mr. Wayne will not be able to make it this evening. Sometimes it's virtually impossible to get a hold of him over the phone. After a while they stop trying. None of them feel quite surprised by that. In the end, it just doesn't work. Sure, he's a little distant and doesn't make himself emotionally available...but he's not a bad person.
Especially when the so-called "exes" of Bruce Wayne start networking. Gotham isn't a small city, but the social circles Bruce Wayne travels in aren't as big. They don't quite gossip or complain about him. More like...who else would get it?
(I touched his side once and he winced...like he'd been hurt real bad there. He laughed and said it was tackle polo. How does that even-?)
(Somehow, after two dates, he saw right through me and listened while I told him what that casting director tried to do. He nodded, gave me the contact details of a law firm, and said not to worry about the legal fees.)
(I don't know for sure it was him, but it can't be a coincidence that my building got bought out from under my shitty landlord and we were all able to buy our apartments under market value.)
(He got my brother in the best rehab program in the city after his relapse. It probably saved his life. We'd stopped dating months ago, I still don't know how he found out.)
(He gave me a card with a phone number and told me that if I was ever in trouble to call it. Said one of his cars would come to pick me up, any time, any place, no questions asked. The one time I did have to use it after a bad party, it was Alfred.)
I think any tabloid reporter digging around for salacious stories or dirt about Bruce Wayne's love life would be completely and politely stonewalled when they try asking his former Dates. Even when money is offered. Every single one of them.

ׂׂૢ Hugh and you are WIRED,
You and Hugh take part in the Wired autocomplete interview
[this has been sitting in my drafts collecting dust, enjoy! Not proof read, just the vibes]
Tumblr media
'Hello, I am Hugh Jackman,' he smiled at the camera.
'And i'm Y/N.'
'And we're doing the autocomplete interview,' he said.
You smile at how he tried his best. 'The WIRED one,' you added.
Hugh looked back to you. 'Oh yeah.' he laughed and apologised to the crew. 'I'll hold, you peel and read and I'll answer,' said Hugh, taking the board that started with him.
You leaned back in your chair, eyes peering at him. 'So, I do all the work and you sit there, ok, yeah, that's fair.'
He chuckled as you peeled away the first question.
'Is Hugh Jackman Australian?' you read, screwing up the paper and chucking it behind you. 'Um, no, he's not. It's all a bit he does, it's incredible he's kept it up for years,' you answer for him.
Hugh laughed. 'I am, I am Australian,' he insisted.
You shook your head, nudging him friendly. 'Such a good actor. Is Hugh Jackman retired?'
'No, just old,' said Hugh.
You chuckle before looking at the camera. 'He said he was retired but that was a lie,' you poke fun at the amount of times he said he'll never do Logan again... but did Logan again. 'He's a lair like I said- a good actor.'
You rip the next one off. 'Is Hugh Jackman... a good singer? Uh yes!'
'Thank you, there you go,' nodded Hugh.
'He's such a good singer,' you boast, holding his knee. 'Les mis, Oklahoma, The greatest showman.'
'That's where we met,' he smiled. The two of you did meet during the filming of The Greatest Showman.
You smiled back at you. 'We did. Yeah, highly recommend having Hugh Jackman sing to you, it's-it's magic.'
You do a couple more questions before finishing his first board and letting Hugh break it over his knee before chucking it away. 'Oh woah. You know, people would pay to have that done to them.'
Hugh laughs. He takes the board meant for you and peels the first away. 'I've got it love, let me. Is Y/N dead?'
'Starting off strong here,' you said. 'Um, only on the inside.'
Hugh chuckled. 'That's horrible,' he said through his laughter.
'Don't worry babe, I'm still here. Alive and kicking,' you mumble off.
Hugh eventually peeled away the next one. 'Ok, is Y/N in Wolverine origins.'
'No, thank god,' you said as Hugh, again, keeps laughing. 'No, I do not appear in that movie. But a version of my character does for like ten minutes. And i'm sure it was the better ten minutes of the movie.'
'I won't argue with that,' said Hugh.
'So it wasn't me but another actress playing my character.'
'Right, not confusing at all,' said Hugh. 'Just don't think about it really. Yeah. Right, is Y/N a billionaire? If she was, I would've married her by now,' said Hugh.
You laugh, rocking back and forth. 'Now I really need to reach that billionaire status,' you said.
Hugh's board was next.
'Ok, how Hugh Jackman got jacked?' you read, looking over to him. 'How did the Jackman jack?' you asked, the question coming out a bit more on the naughty side than you intended.
The both of you looked at each other promiscuously.
You held up a finger. 'Maybe I should have worded that differently.'
'Yeah,' he chuckled. 'Um, I basically was miserable for six months. No I'm kidding, a lot of training and boiled chicken.'
'Yum! How tall is Hugh Jackman?'
'6'2- 6'3,' he hummed, thinking about it.
'Do you think people are asking cause they're angry you're not 5'3 like Wolverine should've been in the comics?' you asked.
Hugh's face straightened. 'Why'd you have to bring that up?'
You chuckle, peeling away another one. 'What is Hugh Jackman.., made out of?' he laughs as you whisper to the camera. 'Boyfriend material.'
'Is that actually what it says?' he turns the board, checking it. It really did. 'Oh woah. I assume the interweb means the Adamantium in Logan?'
You snorted. 'The interweb, is that what you just called it?'
'Isn't that what the cool kids call it these days?'
You shake your head and toss his board behind you without sparing a thought.
Hugh stared after it. 'Is that how you treat all yours lovers?'
You purse your lips, trying to hold in a laugh. 'It's just a board, babe, you're the real thing.' You picked up the next board for you and handed it to Hugh who was peeling the first one away immediately.
'How is Y/N... oh it ends there. Well, that's very nice, how is Y/N?' Read Hugh, answering before you got the chance. 'She's very well, er, cause she's with me. Next one. Is Y/N single? What a good question.'
Next to you, Hugh was grinning like a mad man, or a man who knew a secret. Or just like an idiot in love. Any of them worked as you just stared back at him. 'Um, you'd have to ask her,' you said, trying to do what you did best and avoid questions.
'We are asking you, c'mon, the people want to know, are you single?' Hugh teased.
You shook your head with pursed lips. 'You know, Y/N is...' you trailed off, mumbling incoherently under his breath.
Hugh chuckled before looking into the camera. 'His name rhymes with Pugh Ackman.'
'Ryan Reynolds, of course!' you say, peeling off the next one yourself. 'Ok, is Y/N in marvel movies? um yes, a few.'
'Most,' Hugh corrected. 'If not all,'
'Yeah, i've done a few in my time,' you answered. 'Started when I was like, sixteen now i'm,' you pretend to count on your fingers, freaking out when you realised the numbers were high. 'Anyway, Hugh's turn!'
'Ok, i'll peel now,' said Hugh, giving you the board.
'Oh thank you, give my poor nails a break,' you said.
'Does Hugh Jackman... smell nice?' he leant over to you and you took an inhale.
You shrug. 'Yeah, he's alright.'
He chuckled and made a gesture at you before going onto the next one. 'Does Hugh Jackman, my name is falling on deaf ears I think now, does Hugh Jackman do all his own singing?'
'Yes, he does!' you yell. 'He's a great singer guys, no debate.'
'No cap!' added Hugh.
'Oh jesus,' you hide your face and laugh into it.
'What?' asked Hugh.
Eventually you moved onto peeling the next one. 'Does Hugh Jackman have tik-tok?'
You laugh too loudly. 'No, could you imagine if he did? I have to help him out with instagram for gods sake.'
'That's true, I do not know what the tik, nor the tok is,' said Hugh. 'Ok, last one on this board. Does Hugh Jackman do all his own stunts? No.' he threw the board.
'That was an easy answer,' you scoff. 'Do you want to tell us why?'
Hugh thought about it. 'No.'
'Alright then, my turn,' you said.
Hugh took the board before you could, not letting you hold it or do your own peeling. 'Alright, ready? Does Y/N do all her own stunts, aw, we're matching.'
You laugh. 'Um, I try to,' you answer. 'I try to, I really do but some are just too dangerous. Like I'm legally not allowed to jump from a building into a dumpster or walk away from an explosion.' You give Hugh a look, referencing that scene in Wolverine origins which he cringed at.
'Does Y/N write her own songs in The Greatest Showman? Can I answer this?' Hugh asked you.
You lean back. 'Only cause I know you're going to gush at me, so go ahead.'
Hugh got his answer ready. 'So when Y/N came on the project, it was only a half developed idea- if that. And I'd seen her at an Oscar's party and we started chatting and I asked if you were interested in this little project we were doing, you immediately came on board and started writing songs for this. I think, in total you wrote, what was it four- five?'
'Five I think,' you nod.
'Five of the greatest songs on that movie. Honestly, hearing it live and in the workshops was just, the best thing i've ever heard,' Hugh looked back at you, a loving smile on his lips.
You pout and rest your head on his shoulder. 'God that Pugh Ackman is a real nice guy.'
Hugh laughed and pecked your forehead. 'Does Y/N enjoy being in the avengers?'
'I do yeah,' you answer. 'I think there's like a lot of talk that when you stop playing a role you're supposed to come out and say you hated it, but I loved it. And I still love it. And I'll always love it.'
Hugh held up a hand. 'That being said. She would love being in the X-men more.' He waited for you to reply but you didn't and just stared at him. 'Ok, never mind. Anyway. Does Y/N drive?'
'Absolutely,' you nod. 'I've got the speeding tickets to prove it.'
'Ok, so these are your last boards,' said the lady behind the camera.
Hugh frowned. 'Oh, i'm having fun,' he said, taking his board.
You shrug. 'We'll just have to google ourselves at home more often.'
Hugh agreed and peeled the next ones, these questions beginning with 'Why'. 'Why Hugh Jackman, returned as Wolverine?'
'Good question, liar,' you said.
'Well, at first, you know, I wasn't going to, I really wasn't,' he spoke, looking to you as if cameras weren't pointing at you. 'But then this Ryan... Gosling guy? I think that's his name. He just kept asking and asking, turning up at my house, he got my number, I don't even know how-'
'Yeah, sorry about that,' you added.
Hugh laughed before carrying on. 'Eventually you know, he waved a bag of cash in my face and I knew, just to get him off my tale, I had to.'
'Yeah, that sounds like a Ryan Gosling move.'
'Why didn't Hugh Jackman win an Oscar?'
'Guys, that's mean,' you tell the camera.
'Thank you, interweb for reminding me I didn't win an Oscar,' said Hugh. 'Well, listen, when you find out you're up against Daniel-Day Lewis, you kinda know not to prepare a speech. And then when your publicist the next day calls and says yeah don't worry, you- you don't worry.'
'You were robbed for Logan,' you mused.
Hugh agreed with a chuckle. 'She's my number one fan. Why Hugh Jackman ran naked?'
You perked up. 'Hello, he what?'
The crew laugh at your excitement.
'It was for X-men two... well, I feel like every X-men movie I strip down,' said Hugh. 'Thinking about it.'
'Got to get that watch rate up,' you said.
'Yeah, exactly. So I did a scene in X-men two where I was running the corridor after just finding the metal in my body and the claws,' he explained, again only looking at you.
You nod, like it was the first time you were hearing the story. 'As you do.'
'And then I turn the corner and the entire crew of women are just there waving dollar bills and I, on reflex, went to cover myself you know and then I cut myself.'
You seethed in pain. 'And then you did it for Wolverine one and two and the next X-men movie,' you listed.
Hugh nodded. 'Then I never stopped.'
'Why would you?' you asked, raking your eyes up and down him and winking.
The last board up was yours.
'Ok, let's go,' said Hugh, scraping at the board. 'Why Y/N is famous?'
You laughed.
'Because she's fucking talented!' said Hugh, 'why wouldn't she be famous?'
You shrug. 'It was gonna happen one way or another. I became famous because I wanted money. And Hugh Jackman, one of them i've got, the other i'm still working on.'
Hugh grinned, wriggling his brows. 'Why did Y/N win an Oscar? Oh, you won one,' he joked, glaring at you as you laughed. 'Lucky you.'
You read the question again. 'I mean- that feels almost condescending you know like oh she won an Oscar, why?'
Hugh stared and pointed at the camera again, repeating himself. 'Because she's fucking talented! Why wouldn't she win an Oscar?'
'I won best actress for a movie called Room, which was very tough, very well written annnndddd I deserved it,' you shrug.
'Why did Y/N marry Hugh Jackman?' he gasped. 'You married him?'
'I have not yet, but I am engaged to Pugh Ackman, so um, please, feel free to send us gifts,' you say causing Hugh to drop the board and laugh. 'Um, I really need a new toasted and he likes watches.'
'Oh, he sounds like a nice guy,' said Hugh.
'He is, he's great.'

I just realized how easily it would be for rumors to be started about the Batkids actually being Bruce's biological kids. Think "Prince Harry's father is actually Princess Diana's former head of security" type rumors.
Dick Grayson: Is mostly free of rumors since there is the story about his parents tragically dying but Bruce never adopted him. Could it be because he is his biological father? Also everyone was a bit too cool with this random guy taking this kid. And he looks a lot like him.
Jason Todd: Jason just kind of showed up one day, his parents weren't known, and there is no adoption record. And what would you know, another kid who looks just like Bruce. Must be his kid.
Tim Drake: His fellow billionaire neighbor's kid that spends a lot of time with him. Classic rich person affair. And Tim looks more like Bruce than his father! Gasp! Tim is *obviously* his kid.
Cassandra Cain: Again, she just showed up one day with no explanation. Obviously his kid.
Damian: Is his kid, probably used as justification behind a lot of these theories.
Duke Thomas: Is also mostly free of rumors since his parents are still alive and the story of what happened to them made the news however people constantly ask him which kids are actually Bruce's and he has to regularly avoid tabloid journalists.
Stephanie Brown: Again, mostly free of rumors but one time a tabloid published a headline claiming that her baby was Bruce's. Bruce used a shell company to buy the press and fired anyone who worked on that "story."
I also imagine that this is the type of thing where people like to debate which kids are Bruce's and which are actually adopted. People mostly speculate on who the mothers of Cass and Jason are. There are lots of social media posting theories about this and there are social media posts criticizing people who do theorize about this calling it weird and obsessive. Jason made the tabloids once for cussing out a journalist who asked if his mom was a popular Gotham actress. I also like to imagine that a lot of people who don't follow tabloid gossip assume that Bruce's kids are biologically his, especially with some of the older ones.

Tired || Bruce Wayne x fem!Reader (Battinson)
Summary: Y/n has been supportive of her husband's secret life, but she is exhausted. A year after their separation, they are reunited at Don Mitchell's funeral. The beginning of the story is before the movie, and ofc the mayor's funeral is an event in the movie. The mayors funeral scene isn't exactly like how it was in the movie, but somewhat close.
Words: 2,426
All My Stories
A/n: Hey guys! I haven't posted in a while, I'm so sorry!! I've decided to start doing batman stories, but I'm still doing Cedric ones too! Requests are open! I also wanted to add I have a lot of drafts, so I haven't posted in a while, but I have some stories in the process!
Tumblr media
Y/n listens as her husband, Bruce Wayne, shuffles off their bed, onto his feet. She hears his feet against the hardwood floor echoing the dead silent room. She hates it, him waking up in the middle of the night to be Batman.
Ever since he started being Batman, he's been distant. He slowly stopped touching her over the years. He's always be in a different room, on a different end of the couch, different end of the bed.
At first, she excused it as him being tired from saving the city. She would curse herself for being selfish, why should she be complaining when he is saving human beings, bringing good to Gotham? Then she got tired of making herself feel bad.
Y/n tried having conversations with Bruce about his sleep schedule, how much he eats, how much time he spends worrying about being Batman. These conversations always ended in arguments or Bruce not responding to whatever his wife said because he was too busy working on his suit.
Alfred of course noticed Bruce's distance from his wife. He would try talking to Bruce about his worry for Y/n, saying she is lonely during the day without her husband. Bruce would always brush off what Alfred said, worried about 'more important' things to him.
It's not like Y/n was a lonely house wife, she was an actress who was on break. Before she met Bruce, she was in big movies, making just enough money to start a family. When she met Bruce, of course her popularity spiked more. A big actress and a billionaire getting married was big news in the press.
She was now on break from her job because everything became too much for her. Her depression grew from lack of love from her husband. She put herself in therapy, which made her realize she wasn't being selfish. She of course didn't tell her therapist about her husband being batman, covering it up as his new job.
Now, she was listening to her husbands feet taping against their hardwood floor. She let out a breath, listening to him step into the elevator that leads to the 'batcave'. She made up her mind, she didn't want to be trapped in her life, in this mansion.
Half an hour later, she got up, walking over the the same elevator and going down.
"Bruce, we have to talk." She said, stepping out of the elevator, walking over to her husband. She had a calmness in her voice. She heard no answer. As soon as she was behind him, she stopped walking. He was working on something on his desk, she didn't care enough to know what he was working on. "Bruce."
After a hum of a response came from her husband, she hesitated with what she was about to say. This scenario seemed much more easier in her head, the countless times she replayed it in her mind. But once she saw him, it was a lot harder than she was expecting.
"I want a divorce." She plainly said. She watched as her husbands head moved, but didn't turn to look at her. "I've been thinking about it a lot-"
"Are you serious?" He said, fully turning his head around to look at his wife. His voice sounded more angry then upset.
"I've been thinking about it a lot," She repeated, ignoring his question. "and I can't do this anymore."
"Do what?" He angrily asked.
"Be ignored!" She shouted, feeling her eyes swell up. She hated that he didn't already know what he's been doing. A clenched jaw was all she got in response. "Bruce," She started. "you haven't touched me in so long."
"I've been busy, you know that."
"You know you're just saying that as an excuse." Hearing this made Bruce turn his body fully to the vulnerable, standing girl. "God, Bruce! I don't even recognize you anymore!"
He shakes his head, scoffing. He moved his eyes everywhere but his wife, his breathing heavy with anger. A ding was heard on his computer, indicating Batman was needed.
"Are you going to get that?" Y/n said, making Bruce's eyes lay on her.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"I mean, if you don't be Batman for one night, and you take me back upstairs and show me you love me, I'll take back everything I said about divorce." It was true, one kiss from him would change her mind, she was so desperate for affection and she hated it. She prayed in the back of her mind for him to get up, swoop her in his arms, and take her upstairs. But he stayed still.
He turned his head at the computer, taking a moment to decide. She watched as he got up from his chair, walking over to his suit of armor. Her heart ached. She angled her head to the ground, biting the inside of her lip and bringing her hand up to rub her philtrum. Tears stung her eyes as her throat burned.
She wanted to run to him, grab his face, kiss him. She also wanted to run to him, push him, yell curses at him, ruin all his batman equipment. But she knew better.
Beyond heartbroken, she made her way over to the elevator. She had a slight feeling of selfishness, making him choose between her and a job of a hero, but then she squashed that feeling almost immediately. It should have been obvious to pick his wife, he shouldn't have even had to think about it.
Once Y/n made it back upstairs, she started packing everything. Her clothes, shoes, anything she found that was hers. She couldn't stay there any longer, she couldn't look at Bruce any longer. She was a mess now, tears streaming down her cheeks as she hiccuped her breath.
It wasn't even close to morning, she had no idea where she would be going. Her family didn't live in Gotham, they lived on the other side of the country. She had actor friends that lived near, maybe she could try them. She thought of a girl, Nicole, she worked with that she grew very close with, hoping she could crash at her place for the night.
Y/n took out her phone, clicking on Nicole's contact, and pressing call. She listened to the phone ring while she kept packing her things. "Hello? Y/n?"
"Nicole!" Y/n said in a voice that anyone could tell she was upset. "Um- I'm so sorry for such a late call, I really could use your help right now."
"Of course! What's wrong, sweetie?" Nicole said over the phone. Y/n was younger that Nicole, Nicole was like a mother figure to her.
"I just need a place to stay, only for tonight. I will be out by the morning, I promise." Y/n closed her suitcase, zipped it up and sat on her and Bruce's bed. Her head was in her hands as she tried calming down her tears.
"You can stay for as long as you would like!" Nicole's voice calmed her down, giving her the strength to walk out of the mansion.
After Y/n made a plan to meet Nicole, she hung up and made her way to the kitchen with her bags. Her memory flashed to Alfred, it wasn't fair of her to leave Alfred without saying anything. She didn't want to wake him, so she decided on making a note for him.
She grabbed a note pad and a pen, writing Alfred, thank you for everything you've done for me, I love you so much. - Y/n. Tears stained the sheet of paper, she didn't want to leave Alfred, the man who took her in and loved her when Bruce wouldn't.
When Alfred saw the note, his blood boiled. He knew this was going to happen, but he hated that Bruce let her leave. Alfred immediately busted into Bruce's room, waking Bruce up. "What did you do?" He angrily shouted, holding up the note. "Why did you let her leave?"
Bruce sat up and stretched, waking himself up before he took the note in his hand. He read it, heart beating harder. He thought Y/n just went to sleep in one of their guest bedrooms, he didn't know how serious she was the night prior.
~~~~
Months after the divorce finalized, Y/n was feeling a lot better. She now owned her own house, had a new big movie she was working on, and was happier. She of course never told anyone about Bruce Wayne's big secret, she still respected and loved him. There was no way she couldn't not love him.
Her mind would wonder off, thinking about what would have happened if he did actually pick her up, took her back up to their bedroom, loved her. She wonder if things would have changed, if he actually would have taken her seriously and been better for her. She then would bring herself back to reality, dealing with the harsh reality that that didn't actually happen, and it wasn't going to.
Y/n didn't see Bruce after that night, but she knew he was watching her. She knew what his gaze felt like, she would feel it when she walked on the street, even when she was in her home. Although she was mad at him for spying on her, a part of her loved him for looking after her, for missing her.
The media of course made a big deal about this separation. They created rumors and lies about why they split up, it was always something not even close to the truth. That Bruce cheated on her, that she was having a secret affair with her friend Nicole, or that they both were married as a publicity stunt. It was all stupid.
Whenever Y/n was asked about it in interviews, she would deny the rumors. "It was a 'right person wrong time' kind of thing, I still respect and love him very much." She would always say something of that sort to the public. It was true. She would never answer personal questions about Bruce. Mostly she was asked why he was so reserved for being so well known.
Every now and then, Y/n watched the news about what Batman did the night before. She hated that even after the divorce, he still was saving the city, but what was he supposed to do now? He now didn't have a wife to come home to, how else was he supposed to fill his time, how else was he supposed to take his anger out?
He hated himself for picking being Batman, he missed his wife so much. He ate less, slept less, breathed less. He always wanted to reach out, he wanted to hear her voice, smell her scent, feel her touch. He now knew this is how she felt when he was ignoring her. God, he hated himself.
He would watch over her, make sure she's safe. Make sure she's happy. He heard about her being in a big upcoming movie, he was glad she was living her life, even if it was without him.
When Don Mitchell was murdered, Bruce was invited to the funeral. Although he already knew more about the murder as Batman, he needed to be at the funeral just in case any information was released from anyone. It would be odd if Batman showed up to a funeral.
He dreaded going out. He barely went out in public as Bruce Wayne before the divorce, but now he avoided it even more.
Bruce drove his car through the crowd of people, following where ever he was told to go. Once he was there, he got out of the car and handed the keys to the valet and hands him some money. He hears the press screaming his name to come over to talk to them, but he of course didn't. He was there for one thing.
Bruce followed the other known people into the building, listening to any conversation he can. His eyes stayed on the ground, as if not looking at anyone would make it easier to hear. His eyes glanced up for a quick second, catching a glimpse of a girl whose back was turned to him.
He fully turned his attention to the girl, recognizing her. He stopped in his tracks, heart starting to ache. Y/n stood before him, talking to her friend who he recognized as Nicole. He watched as Nicole noticed him, nudging Y/n, bringing her attention to Bruce. It was the first time since the divorce that they made eye contact.
Y/n's eyebrows furrowed in a mix of surprise and longing. She gives Bruce a closed mouth smile, biting the inside of her lips. She looked behind Bruce, seeing that Mayor Reál was approaching him. Knowing that Bruce hates talking to people, Y/n walks over to Bruce, stopping right in front of him.
Bruce watches as Y/n walks to him, his heart racing, his arms longing for her, but he keeps them still. There was no expression on his face, but she could tell he missed her. Y/n watches as the new to be mayor notices her and walks away, leaving the 2 alone.
"Hello, Bruce." She sweetly says, smiling up at him.
Y/n spent 2 years in her marriage already feeling like they've been divorced, so it didn't take long for her to get herself back on her feet after the divorce. It wasn't hard to see him because of the heartbreak, it was hard to see his dark circles under his eyes, his prominent bones much sharper from lack of food.
"Hey, Y/n." His rough voice responded. He cleared his voice.
They started talking about how they've been since the divorce, Y/n could tell he changed a lot. He was more open to talking about his feelings with her, his eyes never left hers, his eyebrows pulled closer together and lowered as he listened to her talk.
"We should catch up more," Y/n starts, "not here, though." Bruce nods, hoping this meant good for their relationship. "Still have my number?"
"Of course," Bruce gave a ghost of a smile.
"It was nice seeing you Bruce," Y/n places her hand on his arm. "talk later?" Bruce finally broke eye contact to look at Y/n's hand placement. He missed her so much.
He nods while saying, "It was nice seeing you too, Y/n."
Bruce was never mad at Y/n for the divorce, he was always only mad at himself. He never wanted to watch over Y/n while she lived her life, but he couldn't ever help it. He wanted to distance himself as far away from her as possible, but he needed to know she was okay.
When Y/n walked away, back to Nicole, Bruce reminded himself of why he was here. His eyes landed on Don Mitchell's son, the one that found his father dead. He noticed that Y/n was now talking to the widow, Mrs. Mitchell.
Bloody screams came from outside, a lot of commotion from the second story of the church. Bruce looked up and saw someone standing still, not being effected by all the movement and screams. Bruce knew something bad was about to happen, he looked back at Y/n and Mitchell's kid. Y/n was facing Bruce, standing in front of the kid.
Y/n rushed the kid and the mother away from the front of the church. She didn't know what was going on, but she wanted to help. She also didn't know where to go, so she just stood there, looking at Bruce confused and worried.
A car bursts through the church. Bruce runs and grabs Y/n, saving her from being crashed into. They rolled on the ground, stopping a few feet from where she once stood. Stunned by what was happening, Y/n stayed still laying on the ground.
Bruce got up, holding a hand out for her. She grabbed it, helping herself up. "You need to go," Bruce said, still holding onto the girls hand. Before Y/n could say anything in return, people were screaming at the person driving the car to get out.
Bruce and Y/n turn their attention to the car door opening and a man struggling to get out. Something was bolted around his neck, a bomb strapped to him. "Y/n, you need to leave." Bruce said again, this time a lot more serious. Y/n nodded, letting go of Bruce's hand and quickly exited the building.
~~~~
Y/n was safely at her home now, out of the funeral clothes, and was now laying down in her warm bath, rethinking the events that happened hours before. Everything confused her, but she knew it somehow was related to Batman. She then thought about Bruce Wayne.
She missed him, of course, praying he would reach out to her. She knew that it was unfair of her to break off their marriage but then expect him to come running back to her, but she knew he changed. She could tell by the way he spoke, the way he opened up to her, the way he looked at her.
As she thought about this, she heard her phone ping. She didn't think anything of it, ignoring it until she was out of the bath. As she wrapped herself in her towel, she picked up her phone.
Messages: Bruce Wayne Hey
Her eyes widened, heart skipping a beat. She reread the message, making sure she wasn't seeing things. She bit her lips, holding the phone, smiling. She opened her phone, clicking on the message to reply. "Hey" she wrote back. She wasn't sure what else to say, she thought for a moment.
After Bruce sent Y/n the text, he was praying to not mess up the second chance Y/n was giving him. He sat in his batcave, hovering over his phone, waiting for a reply. When his phone lit up, he immediately saw it. "Hey" It read. He picks up his phone, unlocking it and he starts typing, "You looked really beautiful today." But then he erased it, thinking it wasn't appropriate.
Seeing the 3 dots appear from Bruce's profile got her excited, but when they disappeared, she was confused. She put her phone down, getting dressed into her pajamas. Once she came back to her phone, there was no new messages from Bruce. Sighing, she typed something.
"Thank you for saving me, I didn't get to say it earlier." Bruce cracked a smile at this text from Y/n. He was happy that even though he didn't respond, she still texted back. "It's no problem." He wrote back.
"Can we meet up sometime tomorrow, to catch up?" Y/n sent. Bruce immediately replied, "Yeah, 11 at my place?" Y/n smiled, replying with "Yeah, I'll see you then."
Smiling at his phone, Bruce gets up and exits the batcave, making his way to Alfred. Bruce informs him about Y/n coming over, making Alfred ecstatic. He then scolds Bruce about the importance of not messing this up, making Bruce roll his eyes in annoyance. "I know, I'm not going to mess this up."
~~~~
Y/n walks into the Wayne manor, smiling at the guards at the entrance that recognize her, nodding their heads at her as she passed. She turned a corner, seeing Bruce waiting for her at the entrance of the elevator. Smiling, Y/n walks to him. His smile grew at the sight of her, his eyes longing for her once again.
"Hey," She says as they both walk into the elevator.
"Hey," He said, his eyes never leaving her. As the elevator door closed and starting moving up, silence fell between them.
Unsure if the silence was awkward or not, Y/n said with a joking voice, "So, what was that about yesterday?"
"Hm?" Bruce says for a moment before responding with a sigh, "Oh, it's a really long story." He brings a hand up to rub his eyes, which looked very tired.
"So, you're still doing the Batman stuff?" Y/n asks, looking up at him.
Bruce nods, adding, "After our," he pauses for a moment, "uh, divorce, I didn't know what to do with myself." He looks at her, unsure if bringing up the divorce was still a touchy subject or not.
"Yeah," she says, nodding and scratching the back of her neck, "I wanted to talk to you about that- the divorce."
As Bruce nods once more as the elevator doors open. He was unsure how the conversation would go, what she wanted to talk about, but he prayed for a good result.
Bruce paused for a moment, almost holding his hand out for Y/n to grab so he could lead her to the table like they did when they first started dating, but he couldn't. He takes a step out of the elevator and leads Y/n to the table that Alfred set up. He pulls out a chair, allowing Y/n to sit in it, and when she does, he pushed it in for her.
She barely blushed at this action, reminding herself that she can't do that. She sent a smile at him, watching as he sat down in his own seat across from her.
"So, um," She starts, not knowing how to start the conversation. Her head was down, avoiding eye contact. "I just wanted to tell you why I did it, I know I just left and we never got to talk through it,"
"I understand why you left," Y/n looked up, listening to him. "I was a terrible husband, I hate that it took us splitting up for me to realize that." It was now Bruce's turn to avoid eye contact as he spoke, "I'm truly sorry, for everything I put you through. And I know, a sorry is not even close to enough to what you deserve." He was looking down, feeling her eyes on him.
She leans over the table, placing her hand on his, causing him to look at her. "I know you're sorry, and I am sorry too. I made you choose between something you love doing and me, that was unfair of me to do."
"No, but I should have chose you," he pauses for a moment, looking into her eyes, "I want to choose you." His hand that was beneath hers flips so that their hand was resting in his palm.
Y/n looks down at the movement of his hand, then back up at him, registering his words. "And we'll have to work on that."
"Are you saying-"
"Yeah, we'll work on it," She says nodding, "work on us."
Words Hold Power
An “The Umbrella Academy” fanfiction
Five x Reader
(Female)
Author's Note: Welcome to my The Umbrella Academy fanfiction! I'm so excited to share this story with you all! TUA is my favorite Netflix show! I'm very sad to see it's in its final season, but all great shows come to an end! But at least we'll get to rewatch it over and over again, lol.
Speaking of which, please, no spoilers for S4 since I have not watched it yet. I'll let you guys know where I am in S4 in coming posts.
With that said, I just wanted to tell you guys this. There was one hesitation I had with writing this story. Handling Viktor's character. I know about the journey of this character and Elliot Page's journey as well. I know about the transition, and I wanted to tell you how I planned on approaching this.
I did research on this topic and wanted to be sure I was handling it correctly. I researched how I should write transgender characters and their journeys throughout the story.
I also read other TUA fanfictions for research to see how other authors handle it, and like the research, it's a mixed bag. Some use Viktor only, and some show the name change.
After researching, I decided on an approach.
I will follow what the show does and show the transition story Viktor has. I chose this because I believe it's a beautiful journey, and the show does a great job handling the topic.
One last thing, all the main characters (The Hargreeves siblings) are aged up a little.
With all that said, I hope you enjoy the first chapter! ♥️
~Character Info~
Reader's ability is cursed speech. She can make anyone do what she says with only a few words. It's similar to Allison's, except she doesn't need to say certain words first like her, and her ability is much more powerful. To the point where she has to be extremely careful about what she says.
(As you can tell, this was inspired by the anime character, Toge Inumaki from Jujutsu Kaisen.)
Chapter 1: We Only See Each Other at Weddings and Funerals (Family Reunion)
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
On the twelfth hour of the first day of October 1985, forty-three women around the world gave birth.
This was unusual only in the fact that none of these women have been pregnant when the day first began.
Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible.
He got eight of them.
Many years later, the kids grew up and went on with their lives as adults.
There was Number One, aka Luther Hargreeves. Big, strong and was currently on the moon, studying and preparing for whatever his mission was.
There was Number Two, aka Diego Hargreeves. Impulsive, brave and works as a vigilante of sorts.
There was Number Three, aka Allison Hargreeves. Famous actress who was currently on the red carpet in front of paparazzi.
There was Number Four, aka Klaus. A lazy, free-spirited soul who is currently leaving rehab and using the money he got from the rehab to buy drugs. He ended up in the back of an ambulance.
And, there was Number Seven, aka Vanya Hargreeves. She was quiet, timid, and was currently leaving the theater after practicing her violin.
However, their lives would change forever with one broadcast.
Their father was now dead.
THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY
Vanya rode a taxi to her childhood home. A place she lived for many years.
The Umbrella Academy.
A tall condo-like building with a black gate.
Vanya approached the building and opened the doors, whose windows were decorated by umbrellas.
The foyer was fancy still. The middle was open with a chandelier hanging above a small round table in the middle. Tall, smooth white beams holding the sides which held the second floor. A staircase that leads to that second floor was behind the small round table.
It was just as Vayna remembered it. Every little detail was still there.
“Hey, Mom.”
Vanya called to the woman in the living room. Said woman sat on the sofa in front of the fireplace, which currently had a fire going. She stayed still as she stared into the dancing flames.
“Mom?”
“Vanya?”
A familiar voice turned Vanya’s attention elsewhere.
“You're actually here.”
She turned and saw her sister, Allison coming down the stairs.
“Hey, Allison.”
“Hey sis.”
Allison now stood before her sister. She chuckled and brought the other girl into a hug, which Vanya quietly but graciously returned.
“Ah. What is she doing here?”
A new voice spoke through the quiet foyer.
“You don't belong here. Not after what you did.”
It was Diego.
“You're seriously gonna do this today?” Allison spoke up, her tone telling that she wasn't in the mood for the male's attitude.
“Way to dress for the occasion, by the way.” She added, mocking Diego’s attire as he ascended the stairs. He was still in his “hero” gear; knives and everything.
“At least I'm wearing black.” Diego shot back nonchalantly as he turned left on the stairs, disappearing from the girls’ views.
Vanya, now uncomfortable, spoke up quietly, “You know what? I- Maybe he's right. And I shouldn't-”
“Forget about him.” Allison interrupted her. “I'm glad you're here.” She spoke softly. Vanya’s lips quirked up a little at Allison's words. The sisters shared a moment of silence.
Diego arrived at his late father's room, to see Luther there checking the windows. He leaned against the doorframe.
“I can save you some time. They're all locked. No forced entry, no sign of struggle. Nothing out of the ordinary.”
As he spoke, he walked over to Luther who was also walking towards him.
“Oh, you got big, Luther. What's the secret, huh? Protein shakes? Low carbs?” Diego asked mockingly.
“What do you want?” Luther asked, not wanting to deal with Diego's attitude.
Diego reached into his pocket and pulled out a few folded pieces of paper, handing them to Luther. “The autopsy report.”
After he teasingly tried to pull them away from Luther, the latter brother snatched them out of his hand.
“And you have this, why?” Luther asked.
“Well, that's because I… broke into the coroner's office.” Diego explained as he sat down in an armchair. “And surprise, surprise, Dad's death was… normal. Just a boring, old heart failure.”
“Yeah, so?” Luther looked at Diego.
“So, why are you in here, checking all the windows?”
“Were you the first one on the scene?” Luther asked.
“Pogo found him.” Diego answered.
“Yeah, I talked with Pogo. He said he couldn't find Dad's monocle.”
“And your point being?” Diego asked in a bored tone.
“Can you think of a single time you saw Dad and he wasn't wearing that monocle? No. Which means someone took it. Which means there's a chance he wasn't alone when he died.”
Diego sat up from the armchair. “There is no mystery here. Nothing to avenge. Nothing to solve, nothing like that. It's just a sad old man who kicked it in a big empty house. Just like he deserved.”
“You should leave.” Lither spoke, not liking Diego's tone with that last sentence he spoke.
“Whatever you say, brother.” Diego said in a mocking tone as he turned to leave. Before he did, he turned back to Luther. “By the way, did you visit (Your Name) yet?”
Luther shook his head. “No. I was about to, actually.”
“You know where she is.” Diego simply said.
Vanya entered the living room, looking around at the interior. She spotted a comic and new articles on their group, The Umbrella Academy. She looked at the bookshelves and pulled out one book in particular.
The title read, “Extra Ordinary My Life as Number Seven”
It was her autobiography book. The one she wrote when she left the academy.
She observed it solemnly until a voice spoke out.
“Welcome home, Ms. Vanya.”
She turned and saw Pogo, a human sized monkey dressed formally with a cane and glasses.
Vanya walked over to him and hugged him. Pogo hugged back with a hum. “So good to see you.” He noticed the book in her hand. “Ah, yes, your autobiography.”
“Do you know, um…” Vanya paused before continuing. “Did he ever read it?”
Pogo thought for a moment before replying, “Not that I'm aware of.”
Vanya turned her attention to the portrait above the fireplace. It showed a boy, around seventeen in age, sitting with a neutral but sophisticated look on his face.
“How long has it been since Five disappeared?” She asked.
Pogo turned to look at the portrait too. “It's been sixteen years, four months, and fourteen days.” The two looked at each other. “Your father insisted I keep track.”
“And… how long has (Your Name) been in that coma?”
“Sixteen years, four months, and six days.” Pogo replied.
“You wanna know something stupid? I always used to leave the lights on for him. I was scared that he would come back, it would be late, and the house would be dark and he wouldn't be able to find us, so he'd leave again. And he would take (Your Name) with him. So, every night I'd make a little snack and make sure all the lights were on.”
Pogo nodded. “Oh, I remember your snacks. I'm pretty sure I stepped in half those peanut butter and marshmallow sandwiches, and those (Favorite type of Cookie) cookies.” He sighed a couple times before he spoke again, “Your father always believed that Number Five was still out there somewhere. He also believed that one day (Your Name) would wake up. He never lost hope.”
“And look where that got him.” Vanya said solemnly.
Allison went up to her late father's study, looking around the area. The familiarity of it brought up a memory.
〰️
Reginald Hargreeves was working in his office, as usual, when Grace knocked on the door. She entered before closing the door.
“The children are ready for bed, sir. They wanted to say goodnight.”
She turned and walked a couple of paces and opened the sliding door.
On the other side revealed the eight children, all wearing matching pajamas. Allison was in the center while the others surrounded her. Little (Your Name) stood between her and Five, a black cloth face mask covering her mouth and nose.
The children were all smiling as they waited for their father to acknowledge them. But he was so into his work that he didn't even glance up at them.
Sensing the awkwardness, Grace quickly dismissed the kids. The kids, of course, were disappointed but not surprised. As they left slowly, (Your Name) tugged on Allison's sleeve, silently asking her to come.
“I'll be there in a minute (Your Name).” The girl whispered. (Your Name) tilted her head to the side. Allison spoke again, “Why don't you go hang out with Five for a bit before bed? I know you planned on it.” She gave the masked girl a small smile. (Your Name) felt her cheeks warm up, but she nodded, leaving and quietly walking over to Five. The boy saw her coming and, with a nod of his head, gestured to her to follow him. (Your Name) nodded and started to walk beside him. As she did, she heard Allison,
“He's always busy.”
〰️
“Where's the cash, Dad?”
The sound of a voice diverted Allison's attention and she walked over to her father's desk, hearing clamoring noises. She leaned forward to look to see who was over there.
“Klaus? What are you doing in here?” She asked.
Said boy looked up and gasped at the sight of his sister. “Oh! Allison! Wow, is that you?” He asked as he stood up. He embraced her slowly; Allison slowly returned the hug. “Long time. Too long.” He pulled away. “Hey, I was hoping to see you, actually, because I wanted to get your autograph. Add it to my collection!” He planted his chin onto his hands.
Allison let her brother act because it was how he always behaved when she noticed the white paper bracelet on his left wrist. “Just out of rehab?” She asked.
“No, no. No, no, no, no. No. I'm done with all of that.” Klaus replied with a sigh as he removed the bracelet. “I just came down here to prove to myself that the old man was really gone.” He smiled. “And he is! He's dead. Yeah!” He clapped, making Allison smile a little, shaking her head a bit.
“You know how I know? Because if he were alive, not one of us would be allowed to set foot in this room.” Allison silently agreed with Klaus.
“He was always in here, our whole childhood, plotting his next torment, right?” He said with a chuckle as he sat in the armchair behind the desk, putting his feet on the desk. “Remember how he used to look at us? That scowl?” He pointed to the man's portrait onto the wall behind him. “Thank Christ, he's not our real father, so we couldn't inherit those cold, dead eyes!” He stretched his eyelids to show more of his eyeballs. He fake screams, making Allison chuckle a little as Klaus started to dramatically imitate their late father.
“Get out of his chair.”
Klaus turned his head and saw Luther standing by the doorway. “Oh, wow, Luther! Wow, you really, uh… You really filled out over the years, huh?” Klaus said as he stood and flexed his arm muscles.
“Klaus.” Luther warned.
“Save the lecture. I was already leaving. You guys can talk amongst yourselves. I am going to visit (Your Name). Oh! The precious little sister of ours.” He chuckled softly. Before he could leave though, Luther stopped him. “Drop it.”
“Ex-squeeze me?” Klaus said.
“Do it. Now.” Luther ordered.
Klaus pulled his arm away from Luther and went back to the desk and started to empty out his pockets, which held a few of his late father's belongings. “It's just an advance on our inheritance! That's all it is!” Allison chuckled silently at her brother. “No need to get your little panties in a bunch.” With that, Klaus left, closing the door; leaving Luther and Allison alone in the room.
“So, Klaus is still Klaus, in case you are wondering.” Luther started.
“You know, after all these years, I find it strangely comforting.” Allison stated.
“Did you see Diego?” Luther asked.
“With his stupid outfit?” Allison added in amusement.
“Oh, I know. Do you think he wears that thing in the bathroom?” Lauther asked.
“Like in the shower?” Allison asked for confirmation.
“Yeah.” Luther confirmed.
“Yes, absolutely!” Allison laughed.
The two went on to talk about how their lives are going now that they are adults. Luther was the only one to stay while the rest went their separate ways. Their conversation ended talking about Allison's family and her powers.
〰️
A little later, everyone congregated in the living room. The fire was still going in the fireplace as everyone sat in silence.
Luther started talking about doing a memorial service for their late father. Some like Allison were mostly confused by this or making fun of it like Klaus.
“Is that my skirt?” Allison asked, noticing Klaus wearing a skirt now.
“Oh, yeah this. I found it in your room. It's a little dated, I know, but it's very breathy on the bits.”
Luther stopped Klaus before he could go further and started to talk about their father's death. He had a theory that he didn't die simply of heart failure. He recounted how he was acting suspicious and requested Klaus to try to communicate with him. Klaus was not interested.
“I can't just call Dad into the afterlife and be like, “Dad, could you just stop playing tennis with Hitler for a moment and take a quick call?”
“Since when? That's your thing.” Luther said.
“I'm not in the right… frame of mind.”
“You're high?” Allison asked, not surprised.
“Yeah! Yeah!” Klaus laughed. “I mean, how are you not listening to this nonsense?”
“Well, sober up, this is important.” Luther said.
Klaus only sighed.
When Luther started talking about the missing monocle, Diego concluded that Luther was suspicious of all of them, saying that Luther thought one of them killed their dad. This caused everyone to get upset. Diego insulted Luther's leadership, Klaus got up and jokingly said that he might as well go murder their Mom and (Your Name), unless she was already dead. Vanya left in silence and. Allison left in silence as well. Luther tried to defend himself, but it was too late.
They weren't always like this. When they were kids, they were tight knit.
〰️
17 YEARS AGO
“This is Jim Hellerman, reporting live for Channel 2 News outside of the Capital West Bank at Main and Sixth. A group of heavily armed men stormed the bank not three hours ago and took an unknown number of hostages.”
The armed men surveyed the bank as they pointed their guns at the bound up hostages and pushed them behind the counter as they proceeded with the robbery.
Unexpectedly, a girl with curly black hair, in a school uniform and mask, walked casually to one of the robbers.
It was Allison.
“Hey, get back with the others.” The robber ordered the girl.
“I heard a rumor.” Allison spoke.
“What? What did you say?”
Allison leaned forward and used her ability, “I heard a rumor that you shot your friend in the foot.”
The robber pointed his gun at one of his partners and promptly shot him in the foot, knocking him down. The hostages screamed at the sound of the gun.
Suddenly, someone, dressed in a boy's school uniform with a mask came crashing down from a window above and landed behind the counter. It was Luther. He punched one robber and threw him out the window with surprising strength.
Then, another kid dressed like Luther came from the other side of the bank. “Guns are for sissies. Real men throw knives.” He threw two long knives at one of the robbers only for them to redirect to another robber and immediately killed him.
There were now only two robbers left in the lobby.
One of them climbed onto the desk and pointed his gun shakily at the three kids. “Get back, you freaks.”
“Hey, be careful up there, buddy.” Diego, the knife throwing kid taunted.
“Get back now!”
“Wouldn't want you to get hurt.” Allison taunted as well.
“Or what?”
A fourth kid appeared seemingly out of nowhere, sitting criss cross on the desk. A taunting smirk on his face. This was Number Five.
The robber shot at Five, but he disappeared and reappeared on the other side. When the robber turned around and tried to shoot him again, he suddenly realized that he was not holding a gun.
“Ooh! That's one badass stapler!” Five taunted before smacking the guy's hand holding the stapler into his head. This knocked the robber over.
All they had to do now was get rid of the robbers in the vault.
Or so they thought.
There was one more.
He loaded his fun and his gun cocked, catching the kids off guard.
“Down you freaks!” He yelled.
Suddenly, running from a hidden place behind a wall was a fifth kid, dressed like Allison, as she pulled down her face mask. She directed her attention to the robber.
“Explode!”
The single word echoed loudly through the bank, and just before the guy could turn his gun to the girl, his body suddenly exploded, body parts, guts, and blood spreading out everywhere. The hostages screamed in fear. The girl quickly covered her face again, breathing heavily as she ran to her siblings.
She gestured to all of them. They couldn't see much of her face, but they could tell she was worried by the look in her eyes.
“We're okay. Thanks (Your Name).” Allison said.
(Your Name) hummed, nodding as she walked over to behind the desk with the others, while two more kids dressed like the rest of the boys joined them. Five looked at her. “That was pretty badass. Good work.” He complimented, giving her a smile. (Your Name) felt her cheeks warm up a little, and she tilted her head a bit and closed her eyes. Most people wouldn't be able to tell her expression behind the mask, but Five knew she was smiling at him in thanks.
“Do we really have to do this?” A meek voice asked.
“Come on, Ben. There's more guys in the vault.” Luther told the boy.
Ben sighed as he walked to the vault door. “I didn't sign up for this.”
He entered as the hostages all ran for their lives out of the bank. Inside the vault, the last of the robbers were eyeing slaughtered by Ben's ability. He screeched and roared as his tentacles ripped them apart and threw them against the walls. Blood splattered all over the windows.
Once it was quiet, Ben came out, covered in blood. “Can we go home now?” He asked, his breathing shaky.
It was time to leave.
The seven kids started walking towards the entrance of the bank. (Your Name) pulled out a small vial and turned the cap. She pulled the bottom part of her mask up and put the bottle to her lips. She tilted her head back and started swallowing the liquid. She finished it and placed the empty bottle back in her pocket.
“Are you feeling okay?”
Five's voice made (Your Name) turn to him. She nodded and hummed in thanks. Five offered his arm to her. “Ready?” He asked. The girl nodded again, and she hooked her arm with Five's. Five smiled at her, and they started walking after their siblings.
The seven kids emerged from the back as the news reporters pointed their cameras at the group, and they all clamored to try to talk to them.
Above on the top of a building nearby, stood Reginald Hargreeves, observing the other kids with a mini telescope. An eighth kid, dressed like Allison and (Your Name), minus the mask, stood next to him.
“Why can't I go play with the others?” The girl asked.
“We've been through this before, Number Seven. I'm afraid there's just nothing special about you.” Reginald said as he lowered his telescope.
The girl looked down. “Oh.”
Eventually, Reginald came down to stand with the children.
“Our world is changing. Has changed. There are some among us gifted with abilities far beyond the ordinary. I have adopted seven such children.”
‘You mean eight.’ (Your Name) thought to herself as she looked down temporarily, her arm still linked with Five's.
“I give you the inaugural class of the Umbrella Academy.”
Many news reporters asked many questions.
“What happened to their parents?” One asked.
“They were suitably compensated.” Reginald replied.
“Are you concerned about the welfare of the children?” Another asked.
“Of course. As I am for the fate of the world.” Reginald said.
〰️
Everyone was in separate rooms, having their alone time after the little dispute from earlier. Klaus was still in the living room, trying to talk to their late father but he ended up knocking the vase filled with his ashes over.
Luther was walking through the hallways, reminiscing until he got to his room.
Allison was looking through her belongings until she found a gold heart locket with ‘A+L’ carved onto the front.
Klaus took the vase into the kitchen where he proceeded to take more pills.
Diego laid on the couch in the living room, playing with one of his knives.
Vanya sat on the stairs, a solemn look on her face.
Luther eventually found a familiar record and played it on the record player.
“I Think We're Alone Now” by Tiffany started to play.
Everyone heard the familiar tune all throughout the house and they all started to dance in their respective rooms.
Childhood nostalgia ran through their bodies as they all danced like no one was watching. Even Pogo moved a little to the beat.
But suddenly, thunder rumbled and lightning flashed.
The music stopped as the house reacted to the violent disturbance.
The siblings all ran to the courtyard and saw a giant hole, surrounded by blue lightning.
“What is it?” Vanya asked.
“Don't get too close!” Allison warned.
“Yeah, no shit.” Diego said.
“Looks like some sort of temporal anomaly. Either that or a miniature black hole. One of the two.
“Pretty big difference there, Paul Bunyan.” Diego insulted.
“Out of the way!” Klaus exclaimed as he came out with a fire extinguisher and tried to spray it but it was out of steam. So, he just threw it at the mysterious anomaly only for it to get sucked in.
“What is that gonna do?” Allison asked.
“I don't know. Do you have a better idea?” Klaus asked.
The anomaly got stronger and Luther ushered everyone behind him to protect them. Klaus wanted to run. Luther and Allison held hands.
The electrical crackling intensified and someone emerged from the anomaly, arms out. It disappeared and the person fell out of the sky and landed on the ground. The sky cleared up as the siblings walked towards the person, who stood up. He was dressed in a suit way too big for him.
“Does anyone else see little Number Five, or is that just me?” Klaus asked.
The boy known as Five looked at himself then back at the siblings.
“Shit.”
The six were now in the kitchen. Five was busy making a sandwich while the others watched in shock.
“What's the date? The exact date.” Five asked.
“The 24th.” Vanya replied.
“Of what?”
“March.”
“Good.”
Luther spoke up. “So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?”
Five didn't reply. He just continued with making his sandwich.
Silence fell for a couple of seconds until Luther stood up. “It's been seventeen years.”
Five scoffed. “It's been a lot longer than that.” He blinked over to the cabinet.
“I haven't missed that.” Luther muttered.
“Where'd you go?” Diego asked.
“The future. It's shit, by the way.” Five replied as he blinked back to the table.
“Called it.” Klaus said.
“I should've listened to the old man. You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice.” Five looked up at the siblings. “Nice dress.” He told Klaus.
“Oh, well, danke!” Klaus said, playing with the article of clothing.
“Wait, how did you get back?” Vanya asked.
“In the end I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time.” Five explained.
“That makes no sense.” Diego spoke up.
“Well, it would if you were smarter.” Five sasses.
Diego stood up to confront the boy but Luther stopped him, holding him back.
“How long were you there?” He asked.
“Forty-one years. Give or take.”
Luther and Diego sat back down. “So what are you saying? That you're fifty-eight?” The former asked.
Five looked at Luther. “No, my consciousness is fifty-eight.” He finished his sandwich. “Apparently, my body is now seventeen again.”
“Wait, how does that even work?” Vanya asked.
“Delores kept saying the equations were off. Eh.” Five took a bite out of his sandwich. “Bet she's laughing now.”
Vanya was confused. “Delores?”
Five ignored her and looked at the newspaper that told him about Reginald Hargreeves’ death. “Guess I missed the funeral.”
“How'd you know about that?” Luther asked.
“What part of the future do you not understand?” Five asked. “Heart failure, huh?”
“Yeah.” “No.” Diego and Luther said together.
Five hummed before clicking his tongue. “Nice to see nothing's changed.” Then, he got a good look at his siblings again. He realized that one was missing. “By the way, where's (Your Name)?”
The other five siblings looked at each other, solemn expressions on their faces now. “Well…” Vanya started. “There isn't an easy way to say this.” Allison said. “She's in a coma.” “She's dead.” Klaus and Diego finished. “Diego!” Allison scolded.
Five looked at his siblings, a subtle look of worry on his face, but on the inside, his heart was beating faster. “What happened?”
“Well…. like I said… this isn't easy to say.” As Allison tried to explain, they suddenly heard soft footsteps approaching the kitchen. They slowly turned their heads and what they saw shook them to the core.
There stood…
(Your Name).
Klaus yelled in surprise.
“Holy shit.” Diego said.
Everyone else looked in surprise.
(Your Name) was alive.
"There you go pretty girl." Natasha's voice was as smooth as velvet as she egged you on, her fingers trailed up your spine, trying to distract you from the burn as you sunk onto her cock.
You mewled at the feeling of her bareness against your walls for the first time, and felt as she twitched uncontrollably at the sound. Her face burrowed into your neck momentarily as she too got used to the feeling of your molten heat wrapping around her in a delectable way.
It was as if you were perfectly made for her.
——
"You always take daddy's cock so well," she hummed her lewd words against your throat, her teeth grazed over your skin, leaving behind marks she was never meant to. Being that you were contractually obligated not to let the customers touch, marks were a hard fast no, but she was always an exception to the rule.
A well known actress, philanthropist, and even a business owner, well on her way to becoming a billionaire within another decade's times; Natasha rarely heard the word no anymore.
Your boss never much minded your sessions running over, or your disheveled state once she had a wad of 100's in her hand to compensate.
You were her best dancer, and therefore you were the only one Natasha ever accepted.
She refused to admit it went deeper than your talent status at first, it was only carnal even if she was drawn to you from the minute she stepped into the club. It was purely physical.
Until one day it wasn't.
What used to be quick fucks turned into full blown nights of passion that ended with soft moments of aftercare. Her touches said she loved you, even if her pragmatic words didn't.
It was after her last visit that she realized she'd fallen for you, or moreover when she finally admitted it, but frustratingly she had too much going on personally to say that to you just yet.
So instead of being upfront, she just bought out every slot you had this week, and filled you to the brim every night with her cock. This night not an exception, but more so an overzealous attempt to fuck you into being hers fully.
Had she just spoken to you she would've known you already were. No one else even interested you anymore after you two had started fooling around nearly two years ago.
Natasha felt the same, she'd usually have a new girl every week as she traveled the world, but now she hadn't gone more than a month without seeing you since. Tonight though, she had to tell you that changed. She pushed off the films she'd already signed on for long enough.
"Oh detka," she moaned as you picked up a steady rhythm riding her, you looked so pretty with your head thrown back like this, and with every intentional clench of your walls she was losing control, her hips jerked and she began to pound upwards which derailed your bouncing.
"I'm going to cum," Natasha shrieked, your eyes flew open, but your stammering was quickly disregarded by the lust drunk woman. “Don't worry detka, I'll buy you a plan B."
You nearly laughed in her face, of course the woman knows about plan B. Plan A should simply be her not saying she'd pull out then unilaterally deciding against it in the heat of the moment. Birth control be damned, she was just too cocky with her decision making for your liking, as if she owned you or something.
You wish she did honestly, but that's a pipe dream. This was always something you wanted, you craved it honestly, usually you'd beg her to breed you, but that came with the knowledge that she never would. She had a not so private career, and she was at her peak so she'd told you once in an exhaustion led conversation that settling down wasn't an option at the time.
Then she continued to show up and fuck you senseless, she'd behave like a jealous lover when you held a session with her after another, but she never verbalized it. She simply let her resentment show through her harsh thrusts, and you reminded her with your screams of praise that only she got to have you like this.
"Gonna fill you up detka, you want that?" You nodded, far too gone in the pleasure to speak, and the woman found herself delighted by her ability to fuck you so dumb. "Oh you're going to look so pretty carrying my baby one day."
Her load shot out of her along with a groan. Her fingers dug into your hips, teeth scraping over your pulse point harshly, you shuddered.
Natasha's orgasm directly caused yours, your head flew back, back arching your chest into hers, and the redhead quickly tightened her arms around your waist to keep you upright.
"Fuck," she panted hoarsely, "You're milking me for all I'm worth, gonna be full of my seed."
"Wanna have your baby so bad Natty," you admitted your far off fantasy, causing her to groan, her cock twitching against your walls, releasing even more of her cum inside of you.
"You'd be so pretty," Natasha whispered, her lips moving up the side of your neck as she continued to thrust shallowly. "A total vision."
She pulled back, leaning into her chair so she could admire your blissed out face. Trying to commit your features to her memory since it would be a long while before she saw you. The more she thought it over, it honestly pained her that you didn't have any photos together.
"Detka," she whispered softly, your glossy eyes fluttered open and she melted at the sight. "Can I take a photo, please?" You were really supposed to say no, to deny her the privilege as was a rule of the Red Room, but you didn't.
Natasha smirked as you nodded. She reached for her phone in a frenzy, picking you up and dropping you back down on her cock to truly get you picture ready. You instantly screamed out in pleasure, your mind far too hazy to hear the consecutive click of the actresses camera.
She never spoke in plurality, but her gallery was filling fast. She just couldn't stop herself as you made so many different expressions, all of them hot as hell as she filled you to the brim.
Natasha sloppily linked her lips with yours, you heard the click this time and smiled goofily. The redheads heart swelled, hope filling her as you wore a genuine expression. She was gutted seconds later as her phone alarm went off. Her Hollywood soft hands stilled your continuous bouncing, because if she didn't stop you now she'd miss her three am flight to London.
It was already passed midnight, her bags were packed and in her trunk. All there was left to do was break the news to you, and hope you accepted her proposal. She's sure you will.
"I have to go," she whispered, her tone somber.
You frowned, looking at your watch to see it was only 12:15. Fear flooded your heart at the idea that maybe she was growing tired of you, she never leaves before the club closes. You realized that maybe this was it, she was done.
Natasha felt the way you tensed, her hands moved to cup your cheeks, bringing your avoidant gaze back down to meet hers.
"Hey," she coo'd, "I have a flight to catch is all."
You nodded, trying to reel your emotions back in. You felt so pathetic, this was only business after all. She's not responsible for your feelings.
With a rushed response you clambered off her, holding back a whimper as you hollowed. The sensation a perfect mirroring of your heart.
Natasha hated how you looked to be in pain. All because she's behaving like a coward. It's not like she couldn't just be with you, it would have to be long distance, but it could work.
But she wants this to start when she's free, and able to devote all of her attention to you. So for now this will have to be enough for you both.
"I need you to do me a big favor," she finally cut through the tense silence, as both of you stood fully redressed. Her body molded against yours naturally, pushing you against the wall.
"What is it Nat?"
"Stop dancing," she commanded breathlessly, "I have to go, and it will be a year until I can return to you." You could almost hear a subtle nervousness that she'd never exuded before.
You wanted to give in to her right away, but you couldn't, it wasn't fair of her to ask this.
"Nat, I need this income for my bills, and I don't even understand why I would stop. You're only one of my many clients."
The one you'd fallen in love with... But she didn't need to know that, it was embarrassing.
"Because this pussy is mine Y/N," she growled. "I will properly compensate you—say yes."
Natasha didn't mean to be so gruff with you, but hearing you speak of this as if it was only ever a business arrangement pissed her off.
You guys spent many nights wrapped up in each other. She knew your hopes and dreams. You knew hers. This wasn't just sex anymore.
"I'm serious detka," Natasha's tone was free of lust now, it was authoritative, but soft and that only served to give you a false sense of hope.
You went to rebut her request, painfully so, but she simply shook her head, effectively shushing you. "You'll be okay, no need to worry about anything but your studies now moya lyubov'"
Natasha never told you what her words meant, you'd always just assumed them to be baseless words of endearment, but in this one moment you allowed yourself to believe it was more.
Natasha wished you knew it was, it would be so much easier if you only knew she loved you.
You nodded, heart skipping as her expression blossomed into something truly comforting.
Then your phone dinged, Natasha slipped it into your hands and watched with a smug grin as you gasped. Immediately you shook your head, half a million dollars being deposited into your account giving you a rush of panic.
"Natasha, i-it's too much." The redhead simply shook her head, negating your weak protests. "It's enough to get you by and then some until I'm back from my year away. You deserve it."
"I can't accept this Nat," you tried to deny her, but you both knew you could, and with the stern look she gave you knew you would.
"You can," she bluntly replied, her attempt of leaving no room for argument, but then she softened, kissing your lips as she mumbled, "and you should, take the break moya lyubov'."
You sighed against her lips, your subtle way of conceding to her request. Natasha deepened the kiss then, your arms lazily wrapped around her neck, and she happily made out with you. Then the redheads phone went off, she groaned but looked down to see her driver was calling her, again, so she pulled away with a sad smile.
"Take care of yourself Y/N/N," she pecked your lips again, then her warmth left yours. Both of you had tears brimming in your eyes as she walked away, neither of you would let them fall though until you were safely concealed away from prying eyes. And away from one another.
"Have fun Natty, don't forget about me." Her hand hesitated on the knob now because you sounded serious. As if you believed she could.
Natasha could never forget you; her angel.
You'd never known it, but you saved her soul.
With that precious heart, and gorgeous smile.
Those eyes of yours that said you cared.
Natasha knew she was doomed to fall for you on that first night, it's why she kept returning.
Natasha cleared her throat, doing her best to remain chill. She soon turned to you with a wry smile. "I just had my fun detka," she winked "and I never would dream of forgetting you.
——~~~~~——~~~~~~~~——~~~~~——
A year flew by in no time, and now here you stood. With a baby on your hip, and a mind lost in a fantasy. You wished life wasn't so cruel.
The sound of the kettle whistling brought you out of your steamy daydream of a night past.
That was the last time you saw the woman, besides for on your TV. She'd unfairly asked you to wait for her to return, but never once did she give you a concrete reason to believe this was anything more than just business.
The PR surrounding her and her female costar didn't help to quell your fears of inadequacy.
They only made you realize this was a fantasy.
Natasha actually loving you was a sweet delusion you let yourself cling to for too long, now you had to move on for your sons sake.
Natasha's son... He looks so much like her. You sometimes wonder if things would be different if she knew. Would she actually step up?
You're not sure if you'll ever know. Your loyalty to her comes to an end tonight, you're certain she won't take that well, but that's tough shit.
The bucket loads of money she gave you ran out just last month, and so you hadn't much of a choice anymore. You had to return to work if you were going to support your family unit. She didn't own you, and so she would have to face the consequences of her every previous action.
She knocked you up, then skipped town by the next day without even leaving you her number. She couldn't exactly hold this against you.
After delivering the mug of tea to your ailing mother you passed your son to your brother, leaving a kiss on his chubby cheek before looking to your sibling with a stern glare.
"He's safe," he grumbled, "Now go be a hoe."
You rolled your eyes, flipping your brother off as you slipped out of the door with your bag.
A tear slid down your cheek, but you moved passed the anxiety, and drove off to the club.
News travels fast, you were always the clubs best girl so they announced your return days in advance, and of course as Nat landed back in LA she saw the news in an email from the club.
Her phone screen audibly cracked as she slammed it into the counter, and after a hot shower the redhead was on her private jet en route to New York, where you currently were in the back of the club trying on your best set.
You frowned when the lacy one piece struggled to get over your newly protruding hips. Every day you are reminded of your new body, and the miracle it pulled off creating your son, but it feels more burdensome in times like this.
Then you look down at the time, see your son's perfect face, and remember that though your circumstances aren't ideal, you wouldn't trade him for the world. So, with a brave face, and makeup over your newfound beauty marks you anxiously made your way out to the floor.
As soon as you stepped out the spotlight fell to you and the crowd roared with excitement. You were beyond overwhelmed as your eyes trailed over the crowd, many of your regulars from the years past were here to welcome you back. It was nice, but when you didn't find the pair of green you were hoping to your mood dropped.
The show must go on though, and when your boss called for you to greet Mrs. Lawrence, you waltzed right on over with a bright smile.
"Y/N, dear, it's been too long," the much older woman lifted your hand to her lips for a kiss that made you internally cringe. Another one of your rule breakers, with loads of her husbands money to cover up her perceived deviancies.
Her lips were dry, cracked with lines that held stories you didn't ever intend to learn. The only lines that mattered to you, that were engrained in the deepest crevices of your soul, were the ones that belonged to Natasha Romanoff.
A thin layer of wetness coated your lower lashes at the thought, but you held back the tears, and even more so on the need to retch.
You had bills to pay.
"Mrs. Lawrence," you greeted in a sultry tone, eyes batting up at her as she towered over you. "It's been quite some time since we've last been acquainted. Please tell me you rented a room."
You felt sick to your stomach...
"Oh, why of course I did sweetie..."
Natasha entered the club, determined in her stride as she let the anger in her soul win out. Her eyes only took seconds to zero in on you, and once they saw the elder woman escorting you to a room they narrowed in raw anger.
Fortunately your boss caught wind of the redheads arrival, she interrupted your current rendezvous and promised Mrs. Lawrence that she'd have her chance with you. Before you could ask your boss why you had your answer.
A strong hand wrapped around your bicep, dragging you down the dark hallways to the back of the line of rooms, and tossed you beyond the door, your body hitting the floor.
"I-um, shit, are you okay?" Natasha scrambled forward and pulled you up, her fast hands assessing you for injury. She didn't mean for you to get hurt, the angry adrenaline had just taken over. You nodded, "I'm okay Natty..."
She scoffed, how could you use such a sweet name when you clearly didn't love her the way that she loved you. God, did she love you.
"What part of stop dancing didn't you get?"
"Nat," your lip trembled as you stared back at her scared. She was furious, and that upset you terribly. "I'm broke... I had no other choice."
"I paid you more than enough, stop lying."
"I-I had to spend the bulk of the money Nat."
"I gave you half a million dollars Y/N!" She exasperated, "Fuck, you're such a whore!"
"My mom's sick!" You spat back now, "Her medical bills alone took a fourth of it," you reluctantly admitted, "Then another chunk went to paying off my schooling and for basic necessities. Not to mention I had to get us a house to stay in, one with a comfortable space for my mom, and with enough rooms for all of us," you continued, but Natasha just couldn't move passed the way you said all of us...
Did you have a partner she wasn't aware of?
Was she really that fucking clueless, and you that much of a conniving, filthy whore?
"Who the hell is 'us'?" She suddenly shouts, causing you to flinch fearfully and step even further away from her. "Y/N, I'm not going to ask again," she growls, then if things weren't bad enough your phone began to ring, and before you could send your mom to voicemail Natasha snatched the phone from your hands, and you tried to stop her but it was too late.
The natural redhead turned away to see the culprit, but she nearly dropped the phone when the call ended and she saw your lock screen.
There before her very eyes was a sweet little baby boy, he couldn't have been more than a month old in the photo. He'd been yawning, but one of his eyes was still slightly open and the murky shade of green was unmistakable.
"I wanted to tell you, but you never left me with any way to contact you, and it would've been too risky for you if I tried to find you. Plus, you didn't even want him, the pill that failed told me that much," you spoke up from behind her, the subtle disdain was clear in your tone, but Natasha couldn't be bothered to care about it.
She'd come back here tonight to remind you that you were hers, to put an end to the unspoken of tension, and give you the label you'd both been painstakingly yearning for.
But now, she's leaving this nightclub a mother.
That was never on the agenda, but the longer she stares at the photo of your baby, the more her heart seems to settle into the role, her mind runs wild with all the possibilities of a life she'd always wanted but never slowed down to have.
"Get dressed," she instructs with a level tone, smirking teasingly when you scoff. "Natasha, I have a job to do, and your tips are unwanted!"
Natasha frowns as you continue. "They come with unfair requirements, and I can no longer live on your timeline, I have four mouths to feed, and a mountain of medical bills stacking up." Her heart cracks as your pained words fly at her, but she's quick to straighten herself out.
"Y/N, you have to know that I am not going anywhere, right?" It was your turn to frown now as you took in the nervous way her hands fidgeted. "It hurts to see you think so little of me, but I guess that's really my own fault."
"Natasha, I." Before you could piggyback to make her feel better she shushed you, her hand waving in the air. "You don't need to do that. I'm here to fix this baby, I am here to stay, it's the whole reason why I came here tonight."
Natasha sat down in the chair she's been in many times before, but tonight was different from the rest, it came with soft confessions, "Come, sit on my lap darling, let me explain."
You cautiously took her extended hand to allow her to pull you into her lap, and you bit your lip instinctually upon feeling her large bulge.
"I flew in this morning, after all my many projects were finally completed, and before I could seek you out I was notified of your reappearing debut at the club tonight," she tiredly explains, "I was furious—as you could see, but that's all because of," she pauses, her heart stuttering in her chest, and beating so loud she could hear it, only you had this affect on her, it was like you were a drug cruising through her veins and lighting her nerves.
"I—Fuck, this is harder than I expected it to be," she chuckled humorlessly, you felt the way her body tensed up, so you took a bit of a risk; you intertwined your hand with hers, and used your other to cup her cheek with a tenderness.
It seemed to be a good call since Natasha's body immediately melted into the chair at the sign of affection, while her lips softly pressed to your palm, "I'm in love with you Y/N." You gasped softly, never expecting to hear those words from her, but they were the ones that had always lived in your dreams. "It wasn't my intention to fall, but after our first encounter I knew I was stepping off the ledge if I returned."
The woman could see the gears turning in your mind, it was clear you were trying to get how she could have been so pragmatic at the end of each session, but had also been falling in love.
"Which is why I kept coming back, and booking your slots full when I couldn't be here. It was a tactic to keep you untouched by others; you're mine. It was also to take care of you as best I could," she took your smirk as a good sign, and so she went on, shooting her shot in totality.
"That's all I want to do Y/N, to take care of you, I'm here to offer me completely, my heart is irrevocably yours, as is my body and soul."
You pouted inquisitively, the distrust obvious, and that spurred her on to fight harder for you.
"Please, let me love you like I always should've, to make up for the time lost, and to make this unexpected, but wanted family whole," the words left her with such conviction you weren't able to perceive them as anything less than true, so you answered her with a needy kiss.
Then you cupped her bulge through her pants, the woman groaned hotly against your lips, it took everything in her not to take you then.
"Detka, we don't have to." Natasha gripped your shoulders, using what little restraint she had she pushed you back. Worry ebbed its way into her heart, she feared you thought she expected sex from you in the moment, and as much as she wanted it, she didn't want to rush.
"I know," you whispered, "I want you, please."
"You have me detka. Daddy's got you."
Natasha stood up, your legs wrapped around her waist instantaneously, and she continued to kiss you rather sloppily while her free hand meticulously removed her belt causing her slacks to hit the floor. Her cock sprung free from its confines, slapping into your wet slit, and effectively pulling a soft moan from you.
"You always make such pretty noises," she purred against the skin of your neck as she teasingly rubbed her shaft against you, intent as an abundance of your slick transferred and eventually it trickled down both of your thighs.
Clearly foreplay was unnecessary, but that didn't matter to her. Natasha swiftly set you down, removing your lingerie in a flash. Her hands groped you over the cups on your breasts before she expertly removed them. Her hands continued to knead the sore flesh before you could warn her, though it didn't matter much because you breathily moaned in relief and she salivated at the white pebbling.
Natasha was desperate, "I need to taste you!" Her plump lips brushed over your collarbones, she stuck her tongue out, licking the salty skin as she inched closer to where you needed relief. She was panting just the same as you, this need to taste your breastmilk something new to her.
Her body was warmed by the palpable desire.
You whimpered embarrassingly as her tongue swirled around your nipple before settling beneath as her lips enclosed around the bud. Pre-cum spurted from the tip of Natasha's cock at your noises, and the overwhelming sweet taste that flooded her mouth after a soft suck.
"Fuck," she groaned against your sensitive areola, precious drops of white dripped from her lips and she cursed herself for losing any of it. "It's so sweet, detka, you're just so perfect!"
The smell of your arousal soon flooded the steamy room, pulling your lover from your breasts. She'd cleared your supply out anyway, so it was not shocking that she was kissing down your body now. There was insecurity in the way you moved earlier, when she removed your lingerie, and that made her heart hurt.
Change is inevitable when you carry life, bodies change in permanent ways as skin stretches. It is a miracle, one you've lived through as you carried her son. These dark stripes that now adorned your breasts, stomach and hips were only a beautiful reminder of that miracle. Natasha thought you were beautiful regardless of what you believed, the truth was obvious.
"God Y/N," she groaned, her lips softly pressed into the skin of your hips. It melted you to feel her smile against the new divots in your skin. "My gorgeous girl, look at you carrying around these beautiful marks in memory of our love."
An unexpected sob bubbled up from your chest as your heart melted at her subtle mention of your son, and the genuine lilt to her tone as she praised you for him had you swooning harder.
Natasha went slow as she loosely gripped at your lusher hips, her chapped lips from the constant atmospheric changes scraped over your pregnancy pouch. Kisses being left behind with a whispered praise to follow each one.
"You're the most beautiful girl here Y/N," she sighed as her soft fingertips trailed over the stretch marks while her lips pressed a kiss to the pudgy skin, she smiled against you making you feel her sincerity as she spoke on, "In that room full of people trying to get my attention I only ever saw you—my beautiful, sweet girl"
Her confession made you cry happy tears, she gripped your hand instantly, stroking it in a comforting way as she continued to kiss all over your body. Her lips paused over the scar on your lower belly, you felt her copycat tears, and placed a comforting hand on the back of her head. She chuckled emotionally, pulling back to gaze right into your eyes. Hers were apologetic, remorseful, and sickeningly loving.
“It’s okay Natty,” you reassured, hand slipping to cup her cheek instead. “We’re all okay now.”
Now… Insinuating back to a time when you weren’t, and when she wasn’t there for you.
Natasha pulled her emotions back in for the sake of you. She took her time moving down your body, even slower now, she ignored the ache in her thighs as she stayed crouched. It was important for her to cherish you, she was building your confidence back up as she loved your every mark and curve without hesitation.
When she finally finished dropping to her knees you were dripping for her. She licked her lips seductively, inhaling a long breath as she admired your cunt, the intoxicating smell of your intimacy was enough to drive her feral.
Natasha smiled up at you deviously, "I can't wait to taste you detka." She pressed a kiss to your inner thigh as she breathed, "It's been too damn long." She was letting you know she was preparing to bury her tongue inside of you.
You sent her down a nervous smile, arousing her even further when you looked scared like this. Like you were just a helpless fly caught in her trap, ready to be devoured whole by her venomous lips that spun a sweet web of lust.
Natasha gently lifted your left leg up, settling the crook of your knee onto her outer shoulder, leaving your thighs spread wide open for her. She kissed your skin and whispered, "I love you so much Y/N." You smiled at her words, then her lips latched onto your clit within seconds and you felt it. There was nothing but truth to them, she loved you beyond reason, which is exactly why she's on a prolonged acting hiatus.
You winced as she slipped her tongue inside of your tight hole, the subtle stretch stung. It'd been so long since you felt like this, you'd obviously been untouched since she left; you'd fallen pregnant, and were irrevocably hers.
There was just never going to be a person who knew your body as well. After a few gentle swirls around your clit you settled into the feel of the intrusion, and soon enough you were screaming out in pleasure. Natasha already had you teetering and it'd been under two minutes.
"Need to cum daddy," you panted, "Can I?"
Natasha hummed as she contemplated letting you, her choice made your body freeze, the sensation of the vibration was dizzying. Your clit then reacted as it pulsed beneath her lips.
"Please daddy," you begged, knowing that she loved it whenever you were desperate for her, but you didn't exactly wait for a response as you ground your clit down. Nat harshly gripped your quivering thighs when you tried to resolve your lack of friction problem by riding her perfectly sculpted nose instead of allowing her to remain in charge of your building pleasure.
You whined pitifully as Natasha pulled away with a fixed glare. She shook her head, and softly tutted, "Have some patience detka." Her tongue teasingly swirled around your sensitive bud in the following breath, and you moaned hoarsely. "Let us have our overdue reunion."
Natasha returned to her ministrations with a mumble of permission. You refocused on the pleasure, and felt it increase as you locked eyes. Those green eyes of hers that once presented as a mystery to you now gazed up at you with so much love that you couldn't help but to break.
"Oh daddy, fuck, you're making me cum!!"
Natasha was in awe seeing you coming undone, her cock throbbed as she saw your eyes become hazier. Your tang traversed over her tastebuds. She soon became drunk on your familiar essence as she worked tirelessly to clean you up. There was no turning back, she couldn't stop lapping at you, her shockingly strong arms wrapped around your quivering thighs from below as she hoisted you up, and gently shifted your body to the couch all the while never retreating from her spot between your thighs.
Her strength was borderline ungodly.
The woman had lost her mind as she continued to eat you out, she gleefully ignored her lungs need for air. It was almost like she was stealing yours so perfectly that she became immune to the need to obtain her own oxygen. It was only when her cock throbbed against her leg as you pushed her away with force that she stopped.
"No more," you whimpered, "It's too much."
It wasn't a lie, you were grossly overstimulated, but you were also somewhat bluffing. If you were truly done you'd have whispered your safe word, Red, but you didn't which really only meant you needed a minute. So, for the now, Natasha took to catching her breath while her hands softly caressed your hips. Then slowly but surely she kissed her way back up your body until her smirking face hovered yours.
"Are you ready for daddy's cock yet detka?" She kissed you, her tongue down your throat before you could even respond, you moaned around the muscle as the many tastes caught up to you. There was a bitterness reminiscent of coffee, it was easily drowned out by a sweetness that you knew had come from your breast milk, but that was also rather faint in comparison to your heady arousal that sheened over her face.
"Come on detka," she husked breathlessly, you felt the way her shaft pulsed against your skin as she laid atop of you. "Let me fill you up, I know you must've missed daddy's cock."
"I did," you genuinely cried, sparkling eyes boring into hers as your nails dug into her shoulders in emphasis. Natasha smirked, and gave your honest words a reward as she lined up her fat tip with your entrance and pushed.
"Oh fuck daddy, missed you so much" you squealed as she slowly but surely filled you.
Natasha chuckled softly, "It so good to be home detka." Her lips instantly latched onto the soft skin of your neck as she continued to thrust her cock forward. "Fuck," she panted harshly as her hips stuttered. Sharp teeth suddenly bit into the skin around your pulse point, and you clenched hard, "You're hugging me just right detka, feels like this pussy was made for me."
You lowly moaned your shared sentiments, words long since lost in the fog of your mind as you continued to flutter around her. Raspy, overwhelmed moans followed, up against the skin of your bruising throat as she felt your slicked walls slowly spreading apart for her.
The stretch had your eyes crossed, your hole was so damn tight, and Natasha felt that with every inch she sunk inside, it was heavenly. The way your walls clung to her shaft had her dizzy from the momentary lack of circulation. Then after a moment of complete stillness, where she'd buried her head in the crook of your neck so you both could adjust to the sensation, she slowly began to rock her hips.
The pace remained slow for awhile, the woman remembered just how much your pussy loved tender strokes. Steadily she built you up, the pit of arousal in your lower belly was reaching unbearable. Natasha waited until your first whine of identifiable pain to still herself, her lips kissed up your neck until she was by your ear, "Tell daddy what you need detka. Go on."
"I-I," you swallowed thickly as her eyes were incredibly intense as they peered into yours. "I'm so close daddy, just need you to play." You waved your hands a bit but she played dumb.
"How ever do you mean detka?" Natasha flashed you a teasing grin and you groaned, hands flying up to block your face but she stopped them. "Tell daddy, or you get nothing."
"No. No, please," you cried. "I'm sorry daddy. I just need you to play with my clit please."
"Whatever you need detka." Natasha increased her pace as well, her lips met yours for a sloppy kiss full of tongue and your heavy panting as you struggled to keep up with her pace with her thumb pressing calculated circles into your clit.
A loud snort came from your lips as you fell head first into your orgasm. It was intense, your body shook on top of the bed and your pussy held onto your lovers dick for dear life. Natasha felt like she was going to pass out if she didn't get a second to breathe freely.
After you came around her dick Natasha knew she was close. Bringing you over the edge of no return had always kept her on the edge of her own bliss without much need for friction. It's happened many times actually, where she blew a load without warning onto the furniture just because of how you tasted on her tongue, or for whenever you'd desperately moaned for more.
Natasha was a full time simp for you, nothing turned her on more than your pleasure, so as she continued to bury her throbbing cock into your soaked cunt she knew it wouldn't be long.
The lust of the situation almost made her keep going, but she was feeling nostalgic, so she decided to slow her thrusts. Wordlessly she moved your connected bodies again until she was sat in the chair that started it all. Your lip trembled as you fully sunk onto her, and the deja vu of the moment had tears welling up.
"Shh, don't cry detka," she coo'd, her thumb gently wiped the tears from your cheek, you leaned into the touch which made her smile. Seeing you find comfort in her was out of this world, it felt like her heart was mending. She'd been broken for so long, but you fixed her.
Natasha looked into your glossy eyes with a smile that was riddled with mischief. Nostalgia aside, she had a plan, and you knew her well enough to know it. Without any instructions you began to bounce, she groaned as you had started with a rushed pace. A sign of just how desperate you also were for her to release.
But she needed to be sure first.
Natasha stilled your movements with hands on your cheeks, your eyes spun beneath your lids as your g-spot met her tip with dizzying force. "Want daddy to fill you up detka? Please say you want it too!" Your eyes lazily blinked open, you blearily saw that her lip was caught between her teeth and her eyes were pleading.
"Daddy please breed me!" Natasha grunted, "Are you sure?" You nodded, then squeaked out an adorable yes when she slapped your ass. She chuckled lowly, "Of course you are."
Natasha teasingly thrusted, but gave you nothing else. So you whined, shaking your shoulders in an attempt to get your mobility back but Natasha only gripped you tighter and slammed her lips into yours with brute force.
“Please,” your whisper was pathetically quiet, but Natasha heard you without a problem. The way she slowly picked up a pace while her soft hands roamed your perfect body a clear sign that your desperation affected her. Her words confirmed it: “I'll get you pregnant again detka, after I make you my wife, you'll be my perfect little breeding bitch." Natasha stilled. “Fuck!”
The entirety of your body warmed in tingles, her cum spurting into your walls was euphoric. Natasha’s chest heaved as you greedily kept bouncing, every single lift you’d clench, and she’d continue to feel her releasing into you. Milking her dry as she fought so hard for her even a semblance of cognition. “Detka please.”
You slowed your hips, Natasha’s heart began to follow suit. When you fully stopped, sat on her lap as your mixed releases pooled between your bodies, she leaned her head into your chest. Her nose nuzzled affectionately against the valley of your breasts. Her face decidedly settled there, shaky breaths flowing over your skin eventually faded into soft, steady ones.
While coming down from your own high your fingers mindlessly played with the extensions in her hair, tired eyes admiring the bleached shade, but also feeling ecstatic at the sight of the red roots reemerging. You yawned, the gesture muffling your words as you'd already began speaking, "I love the blonde Natty." She smiled against you tenderly, pulling back she leaned up to peck your lips, then she wrapped her arms around your neck, leaned back once more and nodded with a smile to urge you on.
"You look hot, really, but I prefer the red."
Natasha chuckled, her amusement obvious.
"Thank you detka." Natasha leaned down to kiss your cheek softly. "You ready to go now?"
You nodded and she grinned before reaching into her tote bag to grab a thin robe. Your brows lifted in amusement, her face lifted into a knowing smirk. "I must shield what's mine."
You giggled, "My clothes are down the hall."
The woman shrugged, "But this gives me easy access to you." You gulped and she smirked, her nail scraped over the exposed swell of your breasts as her tone remained teasing, "It's a long drive detka. What else will I do at stop lights if I can't reach over and fuck you dumb?"
"Focus on the road?" You suggested to which she sighed an exaggerated, "Booooring."
Natasha abruptly tied the robe shut, then lifted the both of you off the chair effortlessly. "Say goodbye to the red room detka." The both of you looked back briefly in a moment of appreciation for what it gave to you. "We'll never be back in here again, this chapter in our story is effectively closed moya lyubov'."
"What's that mean Natty?" Natasha blushed as she realized you'll finally get to see just how long you've been hers. "My love." The way your eyes filled with tears brought her close to a breakdown as well but she shushed you softly, "I told you detka, you've always been mine."
Natasha paid no mind to the stares of the patrons as she carried you out of the back room, your bag now slung over her shoulder. Your boss scowled, she didn't need the clientele getting the wrong idea about her business, but once again she was soothed by the cash your lover gave to her in thanks. "Y/N quits."
You giggled into her shirt as you heard your boss's breath catch, she furiously shouted after you both, vague threats to ruin the starlets life but she didn't care much. The world could hear about your story from the owner, or her, they can cast their judgement all they want, but at the end of the day she was happy with her life.
Natasha was happy with having you.
Natasha handed your car keys to her assistant, then she settled you into the back of her SUV before sliding in right beside you with a cheeky grin as you questioned the change in plans.
"I wanted to cuddle," she defended, you raised an untrusting brow, but then you gave her what she wanted by closely snuggling into her side.
Her arm draped over you as you made a call, and she decidedly texted her team about you. Shutting her phone off right as soon as a call began to ring in. They could figure it all out, that's what she pays them the big bucks for.
After you finished checking on your mom and son you turned to see the blonde staring longingly at your lock screen, so you handed her the phone with it open on his photo album.
Her heart fluttered painfully at the first image. It was a side to side comparison of when you were at the end of your pregnancy, bare belly protruding out far, and low. Pasted next to your post pregnancy body, with your newborn in front of your deflated belly, peacefully sleeping. His little face smushed into your arm.
Natasha cleared her throat, doing her best to lessen the emotion in her tone as she spoke. "What's his name?" you smiled fondly at the woman from your seat in the limo, "Apollo."
You were falling even harder, watching as she mindlessly scrolled through your phone with a wide smile as she looked at your shared son.
The natural redhead quirked her brow at you, her silent question rather obvious. "His birth certificate isn't signed yet, I couldn't finish it until I knew where you stood." She beamed at the exciting news, "Well, I say it's about time we get you both on the Romanoff train then."
"It'll take a bit more than some promise of forever and mind blowing sex to win my hand in marriage Nat." She smirked, humming thoughtfully as she leaned over to hover her lips over yours, "Prey tell, how do I do it?"
You pecked her lips. "Stay the night tonight."
"Oh sweetheart, I am not leaving your side," she kissed you deeply to quell your expected rebuttal to her words that almost seemed too good to be true, "This was my last movie for a very long time detka. Consider it like a sort of retirement for at least the next five years."
"Really?" You literally couldn't stop from dancing excitedly in your seat at her words. "Yes," she chuckled at your childlike glee.
"What's the plan exactly?" You pursed your lips up into a subtle pout, "Don't you live in LA?"
"I do," she sighed, "But we don't need to worry about that, I have multiple properties here, but none are close to home without you in them.
"Are you expecting to stay with us then?"
"We'll move on your timeline here, we don't have to move in together if you're not ready. Please just know that I am whenever you are, I'm aware I've had the upper hand in knowing what I wanted here, so I'll be there everyday for whatever you and Apollo need, but don't worry, not in a way that could be seen as overbearing."
"You know, I kinda like the idea of you in my bed every morning," you admitted, "So if it's all the same to you you can move in with us, or we can all follow you out to the golden state."
"I'm good with staying here," she decided, "Apollo's life is here, as is yours, we can decide where to go later, but for now home to me is wherever you are, and here is perfectly fine."
Instead of answering you leaned into her side, she kissed your forehead, and turned your phone so that you could look through them with her. You told her stories, of a wonderful three months spent with him up until you fell asleep, and she listened with a heavy heart.
Natasha carried you into your home, she set you on the couch then began to traipse around the place. She stumbled upon your mother, she was fast asleep with the bassinet beside her bed. Natasha peered into the bed to find a tiny set of green eyes curiously looking up at her.
"Hello there," she greeted in a whisper, he smiled widely, gums on full display as he happily kicked his feet, his natural trust in her clear. "I'm Natasha; you can call me mama."
Natasha didn't want to disturb your mother, it appeared she had just finished up a round of medicine based on the IV drip attached to her. So she lifted your son into her embrace, and reemerged in the living room moments later.
Apollo allowed her the chance to hold him in her lap without any fuss. She settled his butt on her knees, and laid him back on her forearms so she could really look him over. He wore a beige onesie she recognized, she nearly cried at your show of acknowledgment, it was a direct connection to her, a character she had voiced.
"You are so pretty," she admired his perfect blending of features. He was similar in skin tone to you, slightly lighter but not by much, and he currently had a head full of dark red locks that sold him as hers within an instant. His eyes were your shape, but unmistakably her gorgeous shade of green won out. He had a button nose, and his lips resembled yours.
Apollo observed his mother much the same, he couldn't exactly grasp much about her tie to him at only three months old, but his body knew she was a safe person. He'd been hesitant with most people, he took over a month to warm up to your nanny—your brother, who was currently making pasta for dinner and was none the wiser to your son's new whereabouts.
His tiny legs suddenly kicked her stomach as if he discovered something exciting and had to tell her, and surprisingly she understood the baby's little gesture. "What is it buddy?"
You smirked from behind her, "Mommy's boy."
You rounded the couch, and went to sit beside your girlfriend but she yanked you into her lap instead. She cradled the baby to her chest, and after you settled down with your back against the armrest, and with your legs on the couch she returned Apollo to lay on her arms that were now resting on your lap. "Moya sem'ya."
(My family)
Natasha kissed both of your cheeks, and you watched as tears befell hers. "Are you okay?"
She wiped her tears on the back of her hand as she nodded. "Honestly?" A wide grin suddenly took over her face. "I've never been better."
"Oh my gosh," you giggled wildly, "Is it true, that Hollywood's very own brooding lesbian with a train of fan girls is a total romantic?"
Natasha's jaw briefly clenched, you could cut through the thick tension with the sharp bones.
"They don't matter," she whispered, lower lip now wobbling. "Only you, and our son matter. Your family too. Fuck the fans and Fuck the media." She needed you to know, that without a doubt, she's exactly where she wants to be.
"Natasha, hey it's okay, I know," you spoke softly, thumb caressing her cheek as you slowly ran it down to the taut skin of her jaw, she miraculously responded and unclenched.
Then you tilted her face up with your fingers beneath her chin. "I was only playing your silly title up, I know what I have with you is sacred."
"Because it is," she chokes out, her voice raspy as she's overcome with emotion, "I love you. More than I've ever loved anyone before. I adore the way you tell me about your studies while I mindlessly play with the short hairs on the nape your neck. The way you always took care of me after a session, I'd clean your body, but you'd mend my heart with just a smile."
"Fuck Natasha, I thought I was done crying over you," your tone was humorous as you slapped her shoulder lightly. Natasha chuckled, not at your loaded words, but at the way your son went from lazily smiling to glaring up at her in wonder. You laughed too once you caught on. "Don't worry bubby, Mama's just making Mommy happy, it's a-okay malysh."
Natasha smiled at you, leaning in swiftly she stole an appreciative kiss. "You're learning Russian for our son?" You smiled softly and she couldn't fight the blush running up her neck. "God Y/N, you're the ideal partner."
Apollo huffed when you leaned in to kiss Natasha again, for a few beats longer than the last time. You smirked when Natasha pulled away from you all concerned. Her eyes surveyed the infant with precision, and once she concluded he wasn't hurt she locked her gaze on his face. His chubby, adorable face glistening in his drool. She sighed in relief as Apollo returned to his calmed demeanor. He grinned up at her over his fingers and blew.
"Oh look," you jested, pointing a thumb at him, he looks up at you in pre offense. "He's gotten his jealousy from you, it must be hereditary."
"It's definitely a biological response," she jests back with that notorious wink smirk combo of hers that initially drew you to her, and sends a shiver running up and down your spine.
"You're insatiable dorogoy," you call her out, meanwhile your slyly shifting your legs around in an attempt to get relief. Natasha notices.
"I adore your Russian accent baby," she giggles, a rare melodic sound that humanizes your actress of a lover. "It's uniquely you."
Natasha throws her head back as she cackles. The glare you'd sent her was priceless. You slapped her arm once again and your son laughed. The both of you stilled. Shocked to hear that precious sound from your tiny guy.
Your brother came running into the living room, a bandana on his head pushing his hair back, wearing a pink "Kiss the Chef" apron with white frills on the bottom with a sizzling pan in hand. He shrieks as soon as he sees the starlet beneath you. He lifts the spatula up to shield his face, but it hides nothing, the shame is evident. He leaves just as fast as he came.
The room is silent for a moment, your son looks as if he's deep in thought. His tiny brows manage to furrow, clearly he is processing. You witness Natasha smirking out of the corner of your eye, then you looked down to see your baby boys goofy, gummy grin. His squeaky laughter follows, and you cry as you feel his joy.
It's euphoric, as if you too were experiencing a laugh for the first time again. A pure feeling.
Meanwhile Natasha is doing all she can to keep his amusement going long enough for her to capture this precious moment on her phone. Shifting him to one arm, using her lap more, and pulling faces at him as she unlocks it. The woman presses record, capturing the beautiful sound, but unfortunately the camera is on her face instead of the infants. However, in a turn of events you kept your cool a bit better, and caught your sons boisterous laughter as well as his precious, deep dimpled smile. And at the angle you were, you caught your baby mama's face full of adoration along with your sons.
Then your brother returned, he slicked his hair back with a hand that he then extended to your girlfriend, and stammered, "Hi, um, I'm Cole."
"Hello Cole, I'm Natasha," she greeted him, but her gaze never met his. It was probably rude, but she dealt with enough young men to know it's best to let them down with disinterest. Also, she just couldn't look away from Apollo's face.
You'd never told your brother who the other parent was, mostly because he wouldn't ever believe you. But now, as he looked over to find you smirking he began to understand. The way she looked up at you, flashing you a grin while her green eyes sparkled was his final clue in.
Not the fact that you were in her lap…
"Oh my gosh," he shrieked. "Y/N, how the hell did you manage to pull Natasha Romanoff?"
"For one, I didn't stutter over my words," you teased, and your girlfriend laughed shortly, she hadn't meant to let it escape, but it did, and in all honesty he deserved it. "Y/N is the one who pulled me actually," she cuts you off, her free hands slipping into yours. "She's perfect."
"Where have you been then?" You sent your brother a glare as you saw the way Natasha froze up once more, but he paid it no mind.
She handed your son over, and stood to be eye level with your younger brother. It was tense for a second before she dropped her defensive stance. "I was a bit reckless, and I did a lot of things wrong, but I can assure you that I'm here now, and that's all you need to know."
Cole pursed his lips, and gave her an assessing stare before nodding slowly. "Be good to her."
He left promptly after, calling out that dinner was going to be ready in ten. After the lot of you shared a much calmer meal you stopped by to nervously introduced her to your mom. They shared in a sweet conversation, Nat promised your mom she'd be here from this point on. It wasn't hard for them to take to each other, and your heart melted into a puddle when she had helped your mom through a harsh coughing fit.
Natasha followed you obediently as you guided her to your room, you settled onto the bed, and fed your son as she looked around the space.
"You guys share a room?" You hummed a yes while moving Apollo to your shoulder so that you could burp him, and she looked at you. "Would you wanna move to my Manhattan loft? Your brother can stay here with your mom, and I can get her a live in nurse."
It was a no brainer honestly. Living with your mother while sharing a bed with your lover, and a space with your son wasn't ideal at all.
“I don’t want to rush things,” you start, feeling horrible as her face fell. “I want this, but it’s new, and I don’t want us to rush and break it.”
Natasha nodded, humming thoughtfully. “I’m not going anywhere Y/N. I’ve already sent my team a statement to release. I’m done acting, not forever, but for a very long time. My life is always go-go-go, but I’m done. I finally found something worth sticking around for.”
You smiled, Apollo looked up at Natasha and mirrored your expression. She sobbed happily.
“Okay.” You gave in easily. “We’ll follow you.”
Natasha settled down beside you in the bed, she kissed your lips softly, then she did the same to your son’s forehead, then she took him and began to burp him like a natural. The rest of the night went just a seamlessly, where you bathed him, then got him down and into bed.
Then if she couldn’t be anymore perfect she guided you into a warm bath, taking care of your every need with tender care. I love you felt with every swipe of her hands over your body. Natasha got you dressed in a nursing bra and panties, then she slipped into a pair of your sleep shorts and a cotton sports bra.
“I’ll be right behind you detka,” Natasha kissed your cheek, then ushered your protesting form out of the bathroom so she could clean up.
You slipped into bed gratefully, leaving your arms open wide to seem inviting. Natasha fell into your embrace with a pleasured sigh a few minutes later. Neither of you spoke, and it was like that for a long while, the only reason you knew the other was awake is because you're lazily carding your fingers through Natasha's hair, and she was mindlessly tickling your side.
"I'm learning Russian for you moya lyubov'," you hummed against her temple, repeating the words back to her that she'd taught you earlier while leaving a wet kiss against her hairline.
Natasha lifts her body up so that she can hover over you while leaning on her elbows. She sighs dreamily, "Vykhodi za menya?" Natasha took a leap of faith, hoping you'd gotten this far in a lesson. Interpersonal relationships are usually within the first few lessons of any language.
(Marry Me)
"What's the rush?" You teased, but then her face fell and you softened. "I will answer you when you ask me again. I don't need anything fancy, but I can assure you I do need a ring."
Natasha leaned down to kiss your lips softly. Then she buried her face against your chest so that she could release her excitement without waking the sleeping baby in the bassinet. You giggled quietly, and ran a hand down her back, that slowly inched back up as she shimmied until her lower body was slotted between your legs, with her chin pressed into your tummy.
"I'll make it special anyways," she mumbled into the soft skin of your stomach, her lips left a lazy kiss before her cheek nuzzled into your warmth. The redhead found laying atop of you like this comforting, she knew it was a fleeting moment since you preferred to sleep covered. Natasha wouldn't mind the blanket, but you wouldn't let her sleep under it completely.
“I believe you,” you breathed tiredly. Natasha shimmied back up, and brought you into albeit too brief, a heartwarmingly tender make out.
“Goodnight Natty.” You snuggled into her arms this time, and pecked her shoulder. Natasha sighed contently, “Goodnight moya lyubovs’.”
