Listen, friends, I've seen the whole "where would you put the one swear word in the lotr trilogy" debate, and it's all very amusing and everything
but if you do not think that Mister Bilbo Baggins (of Bag End) would be the only character who says Fuck in the whole trilogy (and over something very mundane at that), then you are wrong

I was going through references for dwarven clothes and stumbled upon those little hats dwarflings wear and i couldn't help myself but imagine Dwobbit Frodo wearing one. Then i ended up with a whole outfit lol. I wanted to make two variants. One for winter, explaining why Frodo is wearing boots, and another one for less colder seasons. I also wanted to depict the duality of his character, where he's a very sweet and a little bit shy boy and where he's acting more boisterous and adventurous! His design is still under development and i plan on adding more details!
Also i just cant not draw Thorin ugly crying whenever he sees his son (he understands Gloin more now)

Thorin lives a life of solitude since Smaug’s curse fell upon Erebor. That is, until a brave hobbit turns the mountain upside down with little fear of Thorin’s snarls, scales and enchanted company, and learns to love a beast. (Explicit, Complete, 83k)

Bilbo: Okay, I’m going to get the wedding cake. Thorin: Perfect, while you do that I’ll check on the ring bear. Bilbo: … Bilbo: You mean ring bearER, right? Thorin: … Bilbo: Look me in the eyes and tell me you are not going to bring a dangerous wild animal to our wedding.

So I was rereading the Hobbit and I kept thinking how much of why the whole lot of them didn’t die like every five pages is sheer luck. And I thought it was super weird, but then I remembered how at the beginning the dwarves mostly wanted another person so they would have a group of 14 for a lucky number. Bilbo’s luck saves the whole quest constantly, and if the lucky number thing is actually why then it makes a lot more sense why they really wanted someone to make 14.

Bilbo Baggins finds the One Ring

'He guessed as well as he could, and crawled along for a good way, till suddenly his hand met what felt like a tiny ring of cold metal lying on the floor of the tunnel. It was a turning point in his career, but he did not know it. He put the ring in his pocket almost without thinking; certainly it did not seem of any particular use at the moment.'

Okay but imagine one night Bilbo is sitting talking with Bofur on his night watch, curious about all the instruments Bofur plays, and Bilbo mentions that although he can’t play an instrument, he likes to write rhymes and he’s written a full nursery rhyme that he’s proud of but too shy to show off or publish.
Bilbo is hesitant about singing it for Bofur, but because of how comforting and friendly Bofur’s been on their journey so far compared to the others, he’s persuaded into singing it for him and it’s the Merry Old Inn rhyme, and Bofur is blown away and thinks it’s amazing. Bilbo’s ego is obviously a little inflated by this but he’s still too shy to sing it for the company when they’re awake like Bofur wants him to, so he gives Bofur permission to sing it for them in the morning.
When they set off again per Thorin’s instruction, Bilbo is anxiously waiting for the opinions of the group while Bofur introduces the rhyme to the company. As soon as he’s done singing, they all love it and Bilbo is so grateful for the justice Bofur’s performance served his song. Eventually it gets sung so much, the company all learns it themselves, so by the time they get to Rivendell they all know it off by heart when Bofur performs it at dinner, and although Bilbo is a little embarrassed at how rude of guests they’re being to the elves, he is so excited that they love it so much.

I think the biggest disservice of all time is what they did to my man Thranduil in The Hobbit movies. In the book, sure he's a little dramatic when it comes to imprisoning the dwarves until they admit their business, but to be fair, they did go around scaring the shit out of the socially adverse little wood elves. And he helps out Laketown by building them shelters from the cold after their town is destroyed and he goes with Bard and the men from Laketown to demand money for the people of Laketown and Bilbo absolutely adores him basically goes "If I have to fight in this battle, I want to fight to protect Thranduil" and he calls Bilbo "elf-friend" and is overall just a great little guy. And then in the movies, they make him out to be this huge angry greedy bitch and it's so sad because he's not evil :(
