it's been over a whole month since i had a stupid argument with my parents about driving, a skill that i legally possess but hate doing because i have a special brain illness that makes me fear death and injury, but i'm still chewing over an absurd claim that it's "equally dangerous to go on a 14 hour train ride like you just did". literally how is that more dangerous. in what way. in what world. public transport is nice and good and i like it and i don't have to enter my personal torment nexus

#goddddd it was so bad #i was trying to explain that yes i understand the importance of maintaining my skill but also i want to build my life in a way that doesn't #depend on doing a thing that stabs me directly in the mental illness #and i was basically told that im both a whiny coward that doesn't wanna do scary things AND i do scary things all the time?????#pick one!!!!!!!!! either im a stupid sheltered baby or im a brave soldier who understands the danger of being alive!!#ive always been a Good and Agreeable child but ive been grounded One time in my life #and that was when my parents were teaching me to ride a bike without training wheels and it stressed me out and made me cry so much #I WONDER IF MAYHAPS I HAVE ANXIETY #I KNOW I GOTTA DO SCARY THINGS BECAUSE EVERYTHING IS SCARY AND I DO THEM ANYWAY #but like sending an email is not putting my life at risk as like. car traffic #and for all my anxiety the only fear ive ever had about public transport has been like. missing a train or a bus #im not afraid of travelling alone or sharing a space with people???#and p much most public vehicles are safer than personal cars????#drivers of the vehicles receive more rigorous training and stuff??? and also they get a lot of experience bc they do it every day???#how is that less safe than putting a mentally ill nervous wreck in the torment nexus #is this what evangelion was about bc im not sure

people suggesting paving my road is enough to like...bring me to an actual anger response. no. we are not doing that.

#not dogs #not only are dirt roads better for the environment and prevent the overheating happening in asphalt jungles #but they're cheaper to maintain and quicker to fix #dog paws are not at risk walking on dirt roads and no salt is used in snowy months instead we use sand #so again. no harm to wildlife or domestic animals #sorry some lady on a public forum suggested paving our road in response to...kids that throw twisted teas out of their vehicles #did you know: paving a road is not going to stop people from littering but it will probably:#increase speeds and make it unpleasant to walk on or bike on and increase littering #bc drivers will not see the community using the road as it becomes a rural speedway #i will fight tooth and nail to keep my dirt road lmao #if you want it paved you should've bought on a paved road that's all i'm saying

honestly as much I’m a whiner and complainer life has been looking up lately! I got the big promotion and raise at work, work has become a lot easier and the workplace more friendly and tolerable as a result, I’m going to meet one of my longtime crushes and kinda partners IRL for the first time in less than a week, I’m going to see one of my dream events and visit the west coast for my very first time, a lot of my friendships and relationships have been evening out and steadying, I’ve been reading again, and I’ve been getting outside to ride my bike more than I have in years and building dirt jumps and having an impact where I always want to

Seeing a modern AU fanart of Minthara (x) makes me think of one for her and Kalius (or more like next life reincarnation cuz I like more pain, AU doesn't carry over the mistakes and angst, reincarnations do). Minthara is an assassin/spy for hire who wrecks her getaway motorbike. But she always brings it to Kalius's shop to have this tall buff lady fix it. First time they meet Minthara will be all bloody and injured, but can't go to the hospital:

- Ma'am this is a car shop, we don't do bikes, also shop's closed for the night.

- It's not that different and besides I know you own a bike, that one in the corner is definitely yours *passes tf out*

very curious about my spotify wrapped this year. because writing that akitoya romcom + working on its first sequel threw the whole thing off - i know it did.

#you have to understand. how many hours i've spent on both awalkbb? and start again #and the fact that when i write i loop the same songs Nonstop. to maintain a consistent mood throughout a story #for awalkbb? i listened Exclusively to bikes by lucy rose‚ bags by clairo‚ and kokoronashi by majiko #but kokoronashi really only came into the mix for the epilogue. so.#and start again has been kokoronashi Again and blister by THE KOXX #yes this is important information because the way those songs make me feel is how i want each story to Feel #as like. a whole. likeeee #bikes makes me feel kinda like getting a really nice hug after crying. which is the vibe i wanted to give awalkbb?#(it's nice knowing i succeeded in that btw.hehe)#music isn't exactly the source for my story ideas it's just what i use to maintain the energy. and to make sure my feelings come through #the hard part about writing is creating a mood!!!!! an energy!!!! a vibe!!!!but it's the most important part.#(to me.)

a kid at work was like "look at my stuffed animal!!" and i was like "ooooo" bc i love soft things n then she was like "would you like to hold it?" n i was like "BOY WOULD I!!" n then she was like "but he's been injured so i put a band-aid on him" n i was like "oh does he need to be sewn up?" expecting this child to have been like me n just put band-aids on her stuffed animals For Funsoes but then she was like "yeah :(" and showed me the hole n i was like "oh my god. would you like me to fix him up?" n so anyway i have now fixed up the giant gaping hole in her stuffed sloth hehe c:

#i hope to god the knot i made holds bc i'm worried it wasn't sturdy enough...#but i love love love to repair holes in things bc then i can do blind stitches n watching those close up is always so magical #it was one of those stuffed animals with the long fur so i had to cut a little bit away to get the band-aid off but the kid was cool w/it #and now i'm sitting in an office w a single kid bc he wants to read his book quietly. so true of him #the worm speaks #anyway it's also kinda funny bc i biked to work like 'god i hope they have things to maintain. i wanna do maintenance. i crave handicraft'#i just!!! really love handicraft!!! the act of creation!!!! and also doing detailed maintenance work!!!!!#the other day at work i wrote a poem w a kid but they had to go halfway so i finished it myself #all the kids but one were gone but my coworker made me banish my wip from the whiteboard bc it was riffing on a poem the kids #were just kinda repeating ad nauseum all day i guess so i finished it on a bit of paper #since all the kids were gone i started leaning into dark comedy n in the final line i rhymed twenty with 'cunty' so. i am now realizing that living in the midwest has it's perks

#im browsing apartments just outta curiosity rn because ive been thinking about my future and all that #ive got a friend and we're thinking about becoming roommates and getting an apartment together until we get our shit figured out as -#- Official Adults™ so im just figuring out what you should be looking for in an apartment #rent is surprisingly low compared to a lot of other capital cities so im happy about that #there's a nice loft apartment that's $1400 for a two bed apartment. which is still expensive but its a lot less than most places rn #plus its got plenty of amenities #utilities included. in-unit washer/dryer. lots of community areas. well maintained. bike storage and repair station. well maintained.#its on the outskirts of downtown too so its still super close to everything that has to offer but its not crazy loud #the only major downside on first glance is that it looks like sound carries REALLY well through the rooms which.... is an issue #i need privacy man :'))#it looks really cool though #they have a community spot where local musicians perform on friday nights and according to the reviews the building owners are really nice #idk if there will still be spots there when we decide to move in together but it looks like a solid option #we'd be splitting the rent 50/50 so it'll make things more manageable price-wise

#i just feel so small and sad and lost in nearly every aspect of my life #in my job and trying to search for another one #maintaining long distance and all the worry surrounding that #and all this weird shit going on with my body #the fatigue is at a point where i cant functionil #i keep gaining weight #i cant even poop right now and im having to pee constantly #i feel like a failure with my horse and like im not confident enough for her #im on vacation now and i cant poop which is making me bloated and im gonna go to the beach tomorrow #looking large in a swimsuit #and on our first day here my bike derailed and i fell so my entire right side hurts #how else can i put it into words that i dont want any of this

If you do stupid shit infront of a car and think being on a bike or being in a biker gang excludes from common sense safety on the road, you deeserved to get honked at and run tf over.
